We popped in on a random Saturday to grab donuts and found a st. Charles gem! We were excited by all the menu options-not just donuts!! The service was friendly and professional, the establishment was clean and looked well cared for. The donuts were good but the breakfast sandwich was SUPERB! Highly recommend getting one.

First off the service is always phenomenal, the staff is so friendly and sweet. The whole restaurant just has a warm feeling. Even more amazing the food is 12/10 EVERYTIME!! If you like falafel or gyros you?ll be in heaven. I?ve tried so many places and this is the BEST!! One evening I had a late night pick up after a rough night with my kiddos and the gentleman gave us some donuts in addition to our order to cheer us up!!! It made my kids night! I cannot recommend them enough!

I will say the board pricing and language interpretation on the day I had gone made for some confusion. I was surprised and flustered when our lunch was 40 plus dollars. I appreciate my serving size for the price increase. But definitely sticker shocked.

We got donuts, they are fabulous and great price. We tried the breakfast sandwiches this morning, it looks and taste like they make themselves. Very pleased with everything. Plan to try other foods here. The service was top notch, very professional and friendly.

Mario?s was great. It has a great atmosphere, people and food. We got a couple of glazed donuts, white longjohn that they put cr?me in for us. We also got a bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast, a bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit along with an order of biscuits and gravy. We are really hoping to hit it again on the way back home. I would recommend this play to anybody.

Horrible, we weren't greeted when we walked in, 3 workers walked passed us and didn't take our order. When the young man did, he was not friendly. I ordered the biscuits and Gravy, and the gravy was ice cold, my husband ordered a breakfast burrito, it was tiny. If you are hungry and want a breakfast ?? , I suggest you order 4 of them. My daughter got the Avocado toast and she has been sick to her stomach ever since. Save your money and go else where. Rank food, high prices and rude employees.

I was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Arizona these last 10 years I came back to visit and tried Mario?s cafe. And man can I say that they over delivered what a great tasting restraint very authentic and good environment definitely the place to go in ofallon for Mexican food

I had some business in the area and was killing time and just ran across Mario's. What a great find! Everything that a neighborhood donut shop should be, fresh donuts, still fresh at around noon, great coffee, and an unbelievable $5 breakfast sammie. Mario was serving lunch when I got there but I really had a hankering for some donuts and hot java, and they more than met the bill. Their donuts are incredible but they aren't very friendly or helpful. The whole place has more of a dive bar atmosphere than a Cafe or Donut shop and that is not what I'm looking for at 7am. I did not feel welcome here and the counter person was very rude to just about everyone while I was there. I won't be returning no matter how good your donuts are.

The staff on this day of 28th of July was ok they never smiled and didn?t seem to happy but for the food it is excellent I recommend the bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel they are the whole reason I even come here and every single time I do the food is delicious. Mario?s has great donuts! Probably not the best we?ve ever had, but still delicious and most likely our new go to spot since it?s very close to home. My favorite of what we ordered was the cinnamon twist. It was very light, not too sweet, and had a good amount of cinnamon. For a $7 sandwich I?d expect them to not forget the cheese on it. When I asked why my sandwich was made without cheese they took it back and gave me the same sandwich with now a piece of cheese on it, probably should have just remade the sandwich because why do I want a cold piece of cheese on what is suppose to be a hot meal. Mario?s has very quickly became one of my favorite places to eat! I stopped in a week ago for some breakfast and feta oregano dip, which I was impressed with. Today, I got the falafel and pickle fries- WOW!! I?m quite picky about falafel but they make it perfect! So happy to have found this place.

Instant love! One problem I have with most breakfast places is that they're all the same- eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, pancakes. The gyro omelette is not just unique but perfectly delicious too. I went there for the first time today 09.14.2023... I had their sausage, egg, & cheese croissant which was really good. The corissant was very freah, flaky, & soft.. i also had a chocolate long john which too was very good & fresh too... I would definitely go back.

This is my favorite place in St. Charles. You can get a gyro, fries, a drink, and a doughnut for about $15. (2023) The restaurant is always decorated for different holidays. I love looking at the elvis portraits. There are also many lovely plants like Fiddle Leaf Fig and other house plants to enjoy while waiting for your food.

I have always been a fan of this place, and they continue to provide great food and service for a reasonable price. The breakfast sandwich options are sure to please everyone, and they have the best gyros within a 30 minute radius! for lunch they have lots of side options, salads and fantastic entrees. The donuts are made fresh daily, and there is a huge variety to choose from. Expect a wait if you show up on a Saturday morning, but you will understand why after your first experience here.

Today was the first time we ate here and it was absolutely delicious. I got the gyro sandwich and some cheese fries and my kids got the chicken tenders and we loved it all. This is going to be one of our favorite places to go. It is the bomb.

Support your local Restaurant's. Here on business and was looking for some place other than the typical fast food chain. Very pleasantly surprised when we found this place. The Chili dogs were great, the Gyro was very tasty I came back the next day to get another along with a dozen delicious donuts for later. Love when I can find a great local place to eat.

Their gyros aren't what I thought they'd be. The meat was a little...off. But their donuts are GREAT. Would come back for donuts time and time again. The woman who works the counter is often pretty rude to the rest of the staff, though.
