while I was in town I had to check out Mama Yatai & Donuts?and they did not disappoint! out of all the places i?ve tried, this spot has the best corn dogs by far. the mochi donuts were also delicious?not overly sweet like regular donuts, just the right balance. the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was really nice. great hangout spot overall. highly recommend!

Mama Ya Tai has AMAZING mochi donuts. Texture and consistency are always spot on and I?ve never had a bad donut there. Space is super limited for seating inside but there are tables set up on the covered sidewalk in the front - shared with a few of the other neighboring eateries. If you haven?t done so, stop by and enjoy a donut. If you buy 5, you get the 6th free!

Everything was soooo goooood!! I?m not too picky w my sweets and corndogs but the mochi donuts were perfectly sweet and chewy. The hot Cheeto cheese dog was incredible and warm like it was just made. The tornado potato was delicious, but choose something with spice instead of plain. Could use a bit of pickle to cut through all the fried food (perhaps even fried pickle!). Amazing mochi donuts. There is a variety of options to choose from and it is buy 5 get one free! The taro flavor and oreo flavor was very nice and my top favorite flavors. They also sell corn dogs that is freshly made and delicious. Multiple types of breads on the counter to choose from and very aesthetic pleasing. The interior of the store was very pretty and enjoyable with music. Definitely going back to try other flavors!!

Food was great, they fill up up fast and the wings are huge. The lady who took our order was patient and kind, and the guys that brought our food to the table were really nice too.

The venue was intriguing with charming decorations. While the space was a bit cramped, the donuts were undeniably delicious. My friends and I also tried some other dishes, and they were quite tasty as well. One standout item was the potato on a stick, which was truly amazing and visually appealing.

I have been becoming a regular here recently because of atmosphere the employees make while I wished they actually made onigiri or rice bowls the corn dogs are really good here and they are unique. The two girl employees are the best cashiers in the plaza that I have experienced. If you come in when the short curly/wavy haired girl is in with a boy named Bobby I promise you will have a laugh. As this place suggest from just its looks its a very unique. The dine in isn't very comforting due to the amount of excitement this place is blessed with. I was able to try all kinds of delights from the menu which included corn dogs with full cheese ramen (not my recommeded) it wasn't bad just wasn't my preference. It gets pretty packed fast but it's worth trying. I had various mochi donuts: taro, cherry blossom, and snickers. Also had the Japanese corndogs. I had the cheese filling with the regular breading and another with chicken on the outside. Also had a garlic and cream cheese bread. Everything was pretty good. Getting parking was a bit tricky since it shares a shopping strip. This place was as I expected it. All donuts, specialty bread were nicely on display. It is a bit pricey but you have to try different flavors as I did. My favorite was the creme brulee. Also the corn dogs are great I had the cheese one with potatoes.

I came here with the high expectations from the viral instagram videos and it exceeded my expectations. So delicious!! We passed a very sparkly cyber truck and decided we needed to go and we pull into this small shop. You go in and it?s just the cutest and the staff is beyond friendly and informed me it was the owners truck we passed. We got a tornado potato, a regular corn dog, and a hot Cheeto corndog for dinner. For desert we had the candied fruit and the churro donut and the Barbie donut. We loved all of it. We absolutely love this place. The Mochi Donuts are almost always fresh and have the best perfectly chewy but soft texture. Our favorite flavors is the Taro. We also really enjoy their Korean corn dogs - particularly the cheese filled one with hot Cheeto topping. We didn't love their other 'regular' donuts or garlic bread as much. I was so excited to finally try one of their corn dogs given all of the hype around them. I ordered two mochi donuts and one corndog, half sausage half cheese. The mochi donuts were good and the highlight of the trip but i was a bit let down by the flavor of the corn dog. I guess I didn?t expect the amount of cheese in comparison to the breading. The breading was extremely thick and just too much for me to actually enjoy.

Have been going to this location for a minute, doughnuts are pretty good for the most part (besides the matcha doughnut, it tasted like fish). Hadn't had any issues till the other day, young curly haired girl behind the counter was super rude, horrible attitude... unprompted. I understand not every day is a good day, but basic manners and human decency is part of customer service.

Tried a couple of the donuts and the all cheese corndogs and they were delicious! Wasn?t a fan of the garlic bread with cheese one, some bites were very weird, almost as if I were eating paper. Seating is a bit cramped but they have space outside.

My family and I gave this place a 2nd try, and sadly I have to say that most likely we are not coming back. Unfortunately their dessert did not do it for us. The donuts were dry. The mama flan had a weird flavor. The Strawberry Cheese one pictured has a strong maple flavor, we did not like that. And the Matcha Tres Leches was ok. Can't comment on the buns nor the corn dogs since we didn't have any.

Great tasting donuts with just the right amount of sweetness. We tried the ube, taro, coconut, and garlic cream cheese bun. We weren't too fond of the coconut donuts. It was bland. The ube donuts, on the other hand, were bursting with flavor. I didn't eat the garlic bun with cream cheese. It smelled garlicky and tasted straight out of the oven, according to my partner.

Ordered a mama creme brulee and an all cheese corn dog using their app, snackpass for pick up. Corn dog was cheese perfection. They gave me the wrong donut, definitely was not a creme brulee donut but and I received some powdered creme filled instead... I'm not sure what happened. Maybe the app should reflect what donuts are sold out for the day. Or give you another selection to where you can choose another alternative. I'll return for those cheese dogs though!

Absolutely spectacular experience! Although unassuming from the outside, MaMa YaYai & Donuts is a place you must go and visit. The corn dogs are customizable and incredibly tasty.
