My son wanted a cheese danish, and theirs was double-sized. Because it was big, when the server retrieved it, the thing broke. She ended up giving us a perfect one, and then included the broken one for free- a nice surprise! So we enjoyed 2 for the price of 1. Great food, great service!

Love the Breakfast sandwichs, & Donuts along with the raisin cinnamon rolls, the croissants are also delicious. Most of the Staff is Very Pleasant, except for the younger of the 2 ladies at least over the phone she seems pretty annoyed! You should give them a try!
My wife said that the creme eclair from Lucky Donuts was the best she ever had. I enjoyed the dark roast coffee and apple fritter. We bought an assortment which included a blueberry muffin, just baked and very moist. We each sampled a small bite which turned into satisfying breakfast.
The staff are always welcoming and attentive. These donuts make me very happy? but savory-wise, I?m a sucker for their Sausage, Egg, and Cheese [SEC] Croissant. It?s toasted as prepared but you?re welcome to add ?Extra Toasty? if you want a little more crunch/texture. Portions are great. Cold Brews are solid. And donuts are fresh and fluffy. In relation to my review, I?d recommend The SEC Croissant w/ a Cold Brew and maybe a ?Raised? Donut of your choice; I.e., Glazed, Maple, Chocolate? etc. Also Accepts Do
The breakfast sandwiches are legit. Definitely hits the spot and the cinnamon rolls are nice too. Hot chocolate also very rich and flavorful. Service is quick and the place is clean. Im coming back and thats the best endorsement anyone can give????

Always clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast sandwiches, a huge selection of coffee and tea and to top it all off, delicious donuts baked fresh daily. Fast service. Even when there is a line out of the door the wait is usually no longer than 10 minutes to receive an order.

LUCKY DONUTS is consistently great. A wonderful variety, tasty sandwiches, daily specials are a good value, even fresh fruit is sold there. Friendly service. Great Coffee, food and a wide screen TV to watch while you enjoy.
This is the definition of a neighborhood donut shop. I love going in and seeing a crowd of regulars sitting at the tables talking and laughing. They have good coffee, a great selection of donuts, and a friendly staff. But beware, if you get there at "rush hour" be prepared for a wait.
Nice place to sit and grab a breakfast sandwich, Donuts or Coffee. They make good lunch sandwiches too.
I've known this spot for years and never had a bad experience. Owners are always warm and friendly. Breakfast food and pastries are great. The place has a nice cozy small shop feel. Totally recommend!
Customer service is great and sweet. Prices are reasonable. Quality is really good with fresh items. Parking is a bit rare on MacArthur, so I either walk or park on a side street.
Best donuts in the Laurel District, hands down! They have the best croissant ever!! Outside they're flakey and have a great crusty crunch and never dry or doughy on the inside! And if you get there early enough before they're gone their chocolate croissant is to die for! They also have breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches. And a ton of lottery scratches lol
I love this donut shop. I used to get donuts on my way to work in high school, and now that I'm back in the area I get a smoothie and breakfast sandwich almost every morning. They know my usual order and exactly how I like my smoothies. Great staff!!!
Had their breakfast sandwich..egg tasted fresh, sausage wasn't over cook and dry,bacon was crispy. Parking out here a bit limited and it's meter
Old school, mom & pop, good coffee, nice people, clean, great sandwiches and pastries/donuts. Very simple. My favorites are the pastrami on rye, the tuna salad - salad (loaded), and their BLT. Also, I can play my lottery #'s there.

Love this place, been going for many years. This is my Alternative to lakeshore ave. Not to mention about 5-10 cent cheaper. Love the Mom & Pop feel. Oakland Staple for Chineese family owned Donut Spots. After living back east. ll take them over Krispy Kremes & Dunkin Donuts anyday. Sonething about the family owned donut shops are more authentic, friendlier, funny. And Great Customer service with a smile. Skip Starbucks...Treat yourself sometime if your not watching your sugar or counting calories. Sweet T
Great place for a quick cup of coffee, first rate soups, sandwiches and smoothies, they also have bagels, a wide variety of donuts and fresh fruit salad, pastries that include a carrot cake to die for, better than anything in supermarkets, and all orders can be take out or in the store.
Never had their donuts nor have I bought a lotto ticket from there - many people do though, but their store provides a pathway from the parking to Lakeshore Ave.
Love their bagel sandwiches, they're addictive. I stop by Lucky's every time I'm in town.

Its been 6 years since I've found a good donut shop. Lucky Donuts is excellent.
The donuts have way too much oil! Took a bite and tasted it right away and after the few bites I couldn't finish I had a bad after taste that I couldn't get rid of for like a hour.
Honestly all I had was a strawberry banana smoothie but it was great.
