My favorite local ice cream spot by far. Had their peach, orange and ginger crumbs special and it might have been the best ice cream I?ve ever had. It was light, tasteful yet not too sweet and the mix of flavors was perfect. It?s dangerous for me that this place is in my neighborhood.

We've come here many times. Our favorite ice cream place after bopping around ardmore. Quality is always consistent and items are crafted with creativity and care. Whipped cream tastes fresh made, along with everything else. Always well staffed and theyre very friendly and focused. @luandaugs is now my FAVORITE of all time icecream. SOOOOO Good!!!! This gem is located near Philadelphia, in Ardmore. Soft serve chocolate and vanilla icecream sundaes with all the toppings. They also have an Affogato which means there is espresso poured over it. I'm from Ohio, and we do not have these in Ohio, so I'm glad I ventured to the east coast to try this dessert idea. I will be making my weekly trip to try the whole menu!

The place is nice, cute decor, cozy vibe and there some space to sit indoor to enjoy your ice cream. All the staff is nice and fast service. All the ice cream is delicious. I love anything with cheesecake and their strawberry supreme was a bomb.

Finally got to visit Lu & Augs and it was great! Love that it?s a dedicated soft serve shop and not just a soft serve option along with others. It reminded me of the soft serve we grew up running after the ice cream truck for:) The place itself is very friendly and gives a nice homey ice cream shop vibe. Be aware it?s only soft ice cream, no hard ice cream. It?s delicious. The service staff is nice and friendly. They handled a large crowd quickly. I just heard about this place and wanted to try it. I had the specialty chocoholic. It did not disappoint, it was so good, the soft serve icecream was smooth and creamy, I especially liked the warm brownie and cookie crumble at the bottom. I will definitely visit again!

This place is absolutely incredible. I love their fun ?flavor drops? that keep things interesting. Their (hopefully) permanent menu item, the ?Glam Jam,? is worth driving a long distance for if you like Gulab Jamun. Lu & Aug's is wonderful all around!! The ambiance and decor is clean, cute, and so comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. But most of all, the ice cream is fantastic!!! And the chai sauce is to die for; definitely do not pass it up. This is my new spot for ice cream whenever I'm in the area; don't miss it!!! And be warned: it's hard to resist getting seconds!

I?m leaving this five-star review because that?s what my six-year-old spontaneously asked me to do after eating ice cream here just now. I love it, too- we can walk here and if the family wants ice cream I always vote for this place. I?m never hungry enough for one of their creative sundaes but their creamy soft serve is my local favorite. Good coffee, too.

Nice flavors, very friendly and something close to home (flavors: julab jamun on the ice cream). We enjoyed it. However please try to make your place eco friendly, we need less plastic, switch to paper cups, your cups are just plain plastic single use which will go to trash in less than half hour, I very rarely complain but you need to change to paper cups, they can still look great, the same sticker on your plastic cups will look great on paper cups too. Your spoons are fine: wood so it's bio degradable.

This place is a hidden gem in Ardmore! Right up the spot is spacious with plenty of seating. The ambience is cozy and welcoming. Smiling faces greeted me at the counter who took the time to explain the menu which had a variety of options including a vegan icecream. I personally enjoyed the "glam jam" which is a clever adaptation of the Indian sweet delicacy gulab jamun. Highly recommend and will be back for more!

Love Lu & Aug's. The vibe is great and the ice cream is incredible. The ratio of topping to ice cream is perfect so there's no overload of any particular flavor and they compliment each other so well. Strawberry supreme is my favorite so far.

This is the kind of creative scoops shop we've been searching for! I had the Chai Chai in a cup, with chai flavored syrup and dusting over vegan soft serve. To add, it comes with Parle G biscuits (IYKYK)! Yes, to infusing South Asian flavors and snacks! Will definitely be back ??!

The staff took their time to explain the menu (which was super innovative - classics and others with an Asian/ Indian touch) and they were extremely efficient. Just visited for the first time today, and I love it! Really creamy and delicious soft serve and lots of innovative takes on sundaes. I got a strawberry themed sundae with strawberry compote, Graham cracker crumbs and cheesecake chunks. I really like that they also put graham cracker crumbles into the cup before adding the soft serve, so that you don't only have them sprinkled on top. Staff was friendly and helpful too. I will definitely be coming back!

Cutesy ice cream shop. I got the "Glam Jam" and my husband got the "Chocoholic." My pistachio ice cream with a Gulab Jamun (honey ball) was delicious, and felt worth the splurge. My husbands Chocoholic was much less impressive - it was a lot to pay for a mediocre cold brownie with vanilla soft serve. Would have been better if the brownie was broken up through the ice cream. The ice cream was fine -standard soft serve. It wasn't overly busy on a Sunday evening but we waited for 15 minutes for simple cones. This place seems to have an identity crisis. It's trying to project an image of high end, but it's a dressed up soft serve shop. I would have rated it much higher if the price and service time were more aligned with what this place truly is.

The soft serve here is next level! Amazingly creamy and delicious by itself, but the shop offers lots of fun flavor combinations and mix-ins. Service was efficient and the workers were kind. This will definitely be a regular dessert place for us from now on and a must-do with our guests from out of town.

The soft serve is fine enough (it's just from a machine), but the toppings are lacking and not thought out (for example, the chocoholic comes with a brownie that they microwave to scalding temperature and burn the core to a rock hard crisp). Service is also incredibly slow. Also, for the amount of ice cream you get this is way overpriced compared to the likes of Chloe's Corner or C&C. Lu & Aug's is great! Everything about our recent experience there - our first - was wonderful. The variety and quality of everything on the menu (we had the Rittenhouse Rocky Road under the "Wild Side" portion of the menu and a dark drinking chocolate) was excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere. We will be going back to Lu & Aug's on a regular basis and encouraging others to go as well. It is very nice to find such quality.

I ordered a chocolate milkshake, and oh, what a delightful choice that turned out to be! The consistency was spot on ? neither too thick nor too runny ? making it both satisfying and drinkable. If you find yourself in Ardmore with a sweet craving, Lu & Aug's is the place to be. Their chocolate milkshake alone is worth the trip, but I'm certain the rest of their offerings are equally tantalizing. Can't wait for my next visit! Highly recommended.

The soft serve ice cream is very rich and creamy. Thick in consistency. I tried the salted caramel affogato and thought the espresso was strong in flavor but very bitter. Once you eat everything together it?s better but still bitter. I also think it?s a bit too pricey, it?s worth trying though.
