Lone Star Donuts & More

Several mention the friendly staff and fresh food. However, some criticize inconsistent quality, especially after staff changes, noting smaller portions, slower service, or incorrect orders. A few complain about unexpected closures or limited hours. While the majority are highly positive (5-star ratings), a handful of 1-star reviews cite poor experiences with food quality, cleanliness, or mismanagement. Customer Reviews

this place is awesome ???? I like their breakfast. My favorite is the passion fruit tea. Their fruit teas are AMAZING!! the milk tea was okay. I didnt like the taste of their tapioca (tastes like sour crystal boba..)

Was so excited to learn i had a donut place walking distance from my new apartment. Until I walked over there on a Saturday morning with my kids just to find out they are close. Who closes a donut shop on a saturday. My poor kids were devastated. I had to take them to Shipleys.

Maybe this is googles fault, maybe not, but I wanted a keto doughnut, so I typed it into Google, this place popped up, I went here. The lady barely spoke English, she had no idea what a keto doughnut was.

I always get the bacon cheese and egg croissant breakfast sandwich but without the egg. Fresh and delicious. I run down and pick it up then run back to the office within 10 mins. No issues. Customer service is an A +

Regardless of some of the negative reviews. I decided to try this place. I had the sausage croissant and a donut. Taste great. I'll be returning. I'm sure the rest of the food here is good.

The best boba milk tea and ice coffee ????

They make the doughnuts, kolaches, and more fresh everyday. Very friendly and nice. They have boudin kolaches!

These dounuts were terrible and the sausage koloche did not please me at all not in the slightest, there was only 2 or 3 staff members and the doughnuts made me sick a little bit,the sausage does not taste right at all. The inside of the place wasn't showing any promise or even worth paying 21 dollars for dry not even warmed up doughnuts and a terrible tasting kolache.I don't even think their burgers are that good either.......This is one of the worst restaurants I've been to. ALSO we had to make our own cof

I picked up 18 breakfast tacos for 11 people, as we celebrated a coworker's birthday this morning. Each person had their name placed on the bag with the kind of breakfast taco ordered. Everyone got exactly what they ordered and the tacos tasted great. Lone Star Donuts & More has 11 loyal customers on this team. Thanks Eva, great job!

Great customer service, good prices, amazing food and they don't hold back on filling the tacos

If they are in a place with security why not open at 5 like most donut shops. Everything is delicious but some people have to be at work at 6AM and can?t leave.

Breakfast tacos. It taste like something died in my mouth.

Their croissant sandwich was amazing! Large and filling--fantastic for a breakfast sandwich! The apple fritters are some of the best I've ever had too. There wasn't much food available in the cases, but what they had tasted great!

I've been coming to the location for about a year and it HAD previously been great, but recently they've hired new staff and you can tell by the food quality. I even found a hair in my ranch, and the fries were burnt. They've lost a loyal customer, bring back the old staff or prepare to lose business with a lot of people. I guarantee you my personal experience is mutual with others.

So the people that gave it one try after a staff change have obviously missed out. I've been working over here for 8 months and have eaten this place weekly ever since. The food is ALWAYS made quickly and if you can beat the prices....well, you can't. Don't even try. The lunches are great (burgers and chicken sandwiches) but their breakfast is top notch. Croissant sandwiches, kolaches, breakfast tacos and donuts are allllll good! Too bad those other folks gave up after a change...this place rocks. Missing o

The breakfast tacos here are amazing. Follow that up with a donut, and I couldn't be happier. And the prices are so reasonable. Even the drip coffee was good. We walked from the Houston Marriott North, and we were so glad we made the short trek. This place should be called "Lone Star Breakfast Tacos & Darn Good Donuts." We brought back tacos and donuts for all our new friends in the hotel lobby that morning.

Please please bring back the old staff. The food is not the same! The people are slowwwww and the portion are smaller. The taste is different. The old staff was welcoming and showed they cared about getting your order right! I just spent $6 in there and that will be the last money from me. Change is not always good!

New ownership/management has definitely made a difference and not for the better. The original staff knew your name and what your usual order was. These new folks don't seem to care about learning either one. I got a Bavarian cream doughnut and I promise you the amount of cream they put in there was smaller than a dime. I got down to the last bite before I actually got to some cream. I won't return unless they bring back Eva, Juan, and their mother.

Very friendly staff! They got me set up with last minute donuts for a business meeting. Very helpful!

Nice little place but I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese croissant and when I got to my location it was just a croissant. Since I just ordered a coffee and my bill was over $5 I think I was charged for it but have no receipt. Oh well.

Breakfast croissants are amazing ?? Customer service is a PLUS! Will be going back.

Their croissant sandwich was amazing! Large and filling--fantastic for a breakfast sandwich!

8:20 on a Monday morning and they're not even open for business no lights no people nothing.

I stopped by this place for the first time this morning. Friendly service & fresh breakfast foods. I will return!

Change your name if you no longer sell yogurt! False advertising. Otherwise looks like a decent place.
