Little Lucy's

Little Lucy's

Reviews Summary

Little Lucy's Mini Donuts is overwhelmingly praised for its fresh, warm, and fluffy donuts with unique flavor options like pistachio lavender, Italian cream cake, and chocolate espresso. Customers love the friendly service and late-night availability, perfect for Rainey Street visitors. While most reviews highlight the delicious taste and generous portions, a few note inconsistencies in quality, especially with delivery orders, citing issues like cold donuts, incorrect orders, or underwhelming dips. The food truck's charm and fresh-made appeal stand out, though some find the flavors unbalanced or overly oily. Overall, it's a beloved spot with minor hiccups.

Rating: 3.9/5 These freshly made mini donuts come with uniquely flavored sugar, though they are a bit pricey and take some time to prepare. We ordered a large (12+ donuts for $9) and added a Nutella dipping sauce (+$1). We chose the pistachio rose flavor. The rose was very subtle with pistachio being more dominant, but it was still really good. There was so much extra sugar that I saved some to sprinkle on pancakes, yogurt, or banana bread. They?re a great treat, especially if you have the drunchies, but

OMG?who knew this tiny pink donut truck would be the main character of my sweet tooth storyline? Little Lucy?s is slinging mini donuts with major flavor. Crispy edges, fluffy centers, dusted in sugary magic?and yes, they?re totally addictive. Like, I?ll take a dozen for now and maybe another dozen for after my 3 minute walk home. Doesn?t matter the time - if you?re on Rainey and craving something sweet, and this place is open, this is your non-negotiable pit stop. Eating here = happiness guaranteed. Trust

Ok, sooooo, these cute little donuts were amazing. I wish I had words to convey the experience of opening the cute little bag and laying them out with some espresso for my birthday treat with my kiddo. The flavor was on point and I was surprised it all hit like it did, so perfect. And so soft and adorable. I just don't have the words for how fun and perfect they were. Also, I love tiny things, and was so happy with the size. Oh and it was the schnauzer ones that I got--Lavender Pistachio and Vanilla.

The scent of the freshness of the donuts draws you in. Very friendly service and very nice, sugary, warm donuts that are perfect for your stroll down Rainey st. after a night of bar hopping. Don?t forget dipping sauce!

Kind of located in an awkward spot and the service can be slow but man is it worth the wait. These are some of the best mini donut/ pastries I think I've ever had. If you're not a fan of sugar, just get them plain. All of the flavors are unique and flavorful and definitely a must try. They also serve coffee here which is great!

When we pulled up, we thought oh what a cute, little trailer. It was cold last night and we wanted something hot. The Nestl??s hot chocolate was the only thing that was good. the two orders of mini donuts were cold and saturated with oil they probably were sitting for a bit , and he was too lazy to make a new batch. He placed six mini donuts in each bag through some sugar and pass us the bags. We didn?t think much about it Until we walked back to the car to sit and enjoy our hot chocolate and mini donuts.

Accidentally stumbled upon this food truck while charging my vehicle at The Domain on a Sunday morning. Didn't plan on getting donuts, but the food truck and the menu were very appealing. Decided to try a small order of the Peanut Butter & Banana and the Pistachio, Lavender, & Vanilla with a side of the Nutella dipping sauce. Donuts were freshly made to order and ready within about 5 minutes. They came out hot, fresh, and straight out the fryer. I ordered a small, but they generously gave me extra donu

These donuts are delicious!! Order the Pistachio, Lavender and Vanilla - so good, sugary sweet and warm. Little Lucy?s is a food truck on Rainey street. Great fix for those with a sweet tooth.

I was having a late night craving for something sweet, so I ordered Lucy's donuts. I ordered a variety pack with 2 dipping sauces. Each bag was labeled on the top corner, so I was aware of the flavor. They were delivered warm and so tasty!

Delicious melt in your mouth mini donuts in a cute little pink bag! Didn't take a picture because i ate them so fast! So yummy. Food trucks and little restaurants all around there. Great little area to visit.

Little fresh made donuts that are light, fluffy, and perfectly sugared. Tried the cinnamon and sugar flavor, and the 6+ bag came with about 9 donuts. They don't weigh you down, but would satisfy the sweet munchie craving from all the drinking up and down Rainey Street.

Met Ray tonight. May 2019 Met Martin last night 1-6-25 They closed early because it was cold 29? Will try again tonight our last night. Difficult because they have the road closed and hubby has a dually I've been trying to get here for a very long time It was worth the wait. Wish I had come sooner. It was exactly what I was looking for ???????????? Back again July 2019 and met Max . The sugar and cinnamon were again FANTASTIC !

What a Great Idea! ?? The food truck is absolutely adorable; and you can't miss the sight (or smell!) of the freshly made mini donuts, as you walk down Rainey Street. Little Lucy's doesn't have Gluten-Free; but everyone I was with absolutely loved theirs; and I did try a bite to make sure they were tasty and squishy, before leaving this review! ??

Little Lucy?s Mini Donuts is a good truck I?ve been wanting to visit for a long time. The chocolate sauce wasn?t good so don?t waste your money on it. I liked the original cinnamon and sugar more than the chocolate hazelnut. The donuts are warm and fluffy and if you?re a fatty like me, you?ll eat the whole bag. So good!!

It?s over-rated. The donuts was just okay. Smelled really good when they were warm. But the taste was just so so. I ordered chocolate espresso flavor. Under the instructions of the cashier I added an extra sauce for $1, white chocolate. It?s more like sugar syrup not white chocolate at all????? There was a detail I have to mention. When others (a group of young white males and one black male) were ordered, the cashier didn?t wear mask but when he saw me, a typical Asian looking girl, he wore the mask firs

We got the strawberry mini donuts and it was really good. But you can only get one flavor. We wanted six donuts each a different flavor but he said it had to be only one flavor which is fine I guess it was still good. ?? we asked for hot coffee and he said that he didn?t have it but there was a sign that literally said hot coffee maybe he ran out. ????? it?s pretty good over all unusual spot though.

Hey, we went to Lucy's Mini Donut Food Truck last night and it was awesome! We had the pumpkin spice and chocolate espresso-flavored donuts with caramel and chocolate sauce. They were so good! They're small, like four of them make a regular donut. The guy working there was really friendly and the place was super cute and lively. We'll definitely go back!

So disappointing! I?ve wanted to try this place for a few years. Who doesn?t like hot, fresh donuts? Online you can order delivery of 3 packs of 6 for $15. I asked at the counter if I could get that because I wanted to try a few flavors. She said no but if I tipped really well, she would give me whatever flavors I wanted. I did 6 different flavors with one in each flavor for the 6. That cost $6 and I tipped her $9. I felt okay with that but then I got the ?donuts? and they were hardly donuts at all. It was

I had ?the poodle? which is the blueberry and lemongrass mini donuts it was so cute. The vegan blueberry ice cream is also delicious. One of the best experiences I had in Austin. Thank you little Lucy?s your food and the service made my day.

The pistachio lavender vanilla donuts are my favorite flavor. Ver soft warm fluffy and sweet Love the pink lights and vibe of this place after a long night out. Perfect way to end the night .

Tasty and fresh mini donuts, great little pick me up when your cruising Rainey. Tough decision for flavors, so you might need to go with friends and get different bags. We picked strawberry - it was a strawberry powder infused sugar.

We ordered several dozen donuts and all of them we nice and hot. You can smell the flavor you ordered but don't expect to find and bacon bits in the bacon maple rum. The texture wasn't too my liking but may be fine for others. At the end of the day this place offers a unique product after a night of drinking for many.

This was the perfect touch to midnight snack! Walk right up to this" easy to notice food truck"Yep not just for breakfast people! They were hot, really soft, fresh and absolutely delightful! I got the maple bacon and loaded with sugar to perfection! It's a must try and a winner for me!! Sugar high for sure after this! ??????????? Life is to short to not have a mini dognut ??

Overpriced and gross. Paid 5 dollars expecting ice cream mango and got 5 ounces of frozen whipped cream and 7 ounces of frozen sour diced mango. It's just like eating actual ice. Checked the bottom and it said it was made 12 days ago... Nearly two weeks old! Please remove from menu....

Love this place! John was cool af and recommended the bacon maple rum donuts with a raspberry sauce on the side. They were so puffy and light and lovely. He also told me that they?re open til 2am, and I am betting that these babies hit just a little differently at that time. I?ll definitely be coming back to find out ??

I love this business so much! Went for the first time in October 2017. After my boyfriend and I went to eat dinner, I wanted something sweet. Found the pink truck down the street and ordered the "Nutella" flavor. Got them fresh and hot. I popped one in my mouth and was in love. I ate most of those donuts myself. Donuts will never be the same for me again. I would definitely come back to this little truck every time I visit Austin. *To alert any first timers, the flavors are not a sauce. It's sugar coating o

This was such a great stop. We loved the hot melt in your mouth mini donuts! So very delicious. Definitely check them out!

Little Lucy's catered our Easter morning events and they were phenomenal! The food truck arrived early so they were ready to go right on time. They were easy to work with and maintained a friendly atmosphere for our guests. Also the donuts were delicious! Everyone was so excited to grab a treat. Can't wait to have them cater for us again soon.

This place is great. Donuts are so good and the service great?super friendly. Nice selection of donuts and quick in and out.

Very friendly staff and the doughnut flavors are bonkers accurate. It's really all done with a thick coating of sugar, but they are going to taste like you expect!

We loved this spot for late night warm bags of mini donuts. So many flavors! The flavors are all in the donut dusting and very tasty.

Damn good donuts!!! The donuts are perfectly delicious!!! Don?t just pass by and enjoy the smells, get you some!!!

Friendly staff. Donuts came quickly and warm. I got the Italian Cream flavored donuts. I left happy. To give u an idea, the donuts taste like a mix between donut and funnel cake.

I always come to Austin and the server at window was beyond rude no hi can I help you. Not good service say no.

Saw their truck at The Domain, had to binge on some mini doughnuts late at night! We got the cinnamon sugar and they were so good! Next time I'll get a dipping sauce!

Delicious, made to order mini donuts. Stopped by while bar hoping in Austin and it was the best decision ever. Crunchy, fresh, hot donuts! Sorry but I ate them all before taking a picture - that says it all!

Undercooked, tiny for the price (even by the average mini donut standard), and the "dip" for an extra dollar was a bit of powder dumped in the bag and not even a dip. Storefront looks cute but it's a rip off -- so much so that I felt the need to review.

I was in austin on vacation from arizona and found this place and ended up eating here three times it was that good.

We got the best sugar donuts ever with raspberry sauce. Well worth the price and he gave us some extra!

Walking 2 miles around Austin to finish my day off here with these little donuts was the best! I wish I would have gotten the gentleman?s name that helped me, he said he was from Atlanta. He was SOOO nice! He recommended the cinnamon sugar and boy was he right. Those things were SOOO good! Highly recommend. If you?re thinking about it, just do it!

Definitely hot and fresh mini donuts! And a bag full, for $6 only!??

Was exploring the neighborhood and saw Little Lucy?s. Such a cute food truck!! The boys and I each order a small (6 pack) of a different flavor each. We received 12 each!! They tasted great! They are small but the sign says ? mini donuts ?. Highly recommend. ????????

Love the unique flavor combinations!!

I was on Rainey Street with some friends the other day craving something sweet. So my friends told me there was this donut place on Rainey. We went over and were immediately greeted by the sweetest girl. Her name was Jeanette I believe. It was my first time there and she made some really great recommendations. I ordered 3 dozen! I got the Dalmatian, Chow Chow and Saint Bernard. She prepared the donuts to perfection. Delicious! The donuts came out pretty quick, which was great because my friends were a lit

Love love love! Absolutely delicious donuts. They?re made fresh to order and have a lot of flavors and dipping sauces. They?re slightly crunchy on the outside and doughy on the inside. I got the pumpkin spice with caramel dipping sauce...so good. It was delicious to eat alone too...so moist and flavorful. My friend got the plain sugar with Nutella...so good!

As if the donuts weren?t delicious enough, we have to talk about their amazing service! Cedric is a real one. This man took such great care of me on a quiet Sunday night. I couldn?t decide on a flavor, and I ultimately went with the Italian cream cake donuts based on his recommendation. He did not lead me astray! Made fresh to order, perfect amount of flavor on each donut, impeccable taste. 11/10, cannot wait to go back!

Always have a big heart for Lucy's mini donuts, the pink truck is beyond adorable, it cheers everyone up, gives you flashbacks of going to the fair as a kid, up there with scent memories of getting a funnel cake, or a churro... ?? I go for the original cinnamon and sugar combo.... I do love many of the dipping sauces, maple bacon or caramel. I'm telling you these donuts come super fresh, nice n hot, and oh so cozy in a lil pink paper pouch, with Lucy the mascot's sweet face stamped on the bag. They truly st

Best donuts I've ever had. They are served to you completely fresh and right out of the fryer. Really that's the only way to enjoy a donut.we ordered six the first night foolishly. Should have ordered 12. We made up for it the next day. I would come here everyday if I lived in Austin. Five stars. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Had 2 small orders of the chow chow (cinnamon sugar) and Nutella. They actually gave us 8-9 donuts each instead of 6 in each bag. So nice of them! It was so tasty and fresh. The dog theme is adorable. Would definitely come here again to try other flavors.

Been wanting to try and I finally door dashed no dipping sauce I paid for making the donuts bland ..cold ? :(

Heaven in a little pink bag! Little Lucy's ROCKS! Gluten Free Parfaits too!

New rule for me when I visit Austin. I don't eat fries or sides. I save room for some mini donuts.

Complete and utter ripoff. Six micro-sized donuts that look like funnel cake droppings (smaller than donut holes) for five bucks. Hot chocolate is literally hot water poured over a cheap powder mix and sold for more than a latte. Neither tasted good. The fact that these people aren't ashamed of themselves is stunning.

I really enjoyed the donuts here. We stopped here while waiting for our table at Bangers. We got the Little size and there was more than 6 in there for sure. It was plenty to share between two people. I ordered the cinnamon sugar topping. It was very good, I only wish that the cinnamon sugar topping was more well coated on each donut. It was sparse on some and very well covered on others. The only downfall of this place I think is there were a lot of bees. I bee a lot of bees, in the trash area and even in

This was the best treat after a long day! First time customer, we ordered these from doordash and I was blown away by the amount you get for the price. The donuts + dipping sauce is to die for! Will definitely be ordering again to try the other flavors!

This place is AMAZING! The owner is the most genuine and kind human being I have ever met, and his mini donuts are BOMB! We?re a military family and live at Fort Hood, but every time I?m in Austin, I make sure to stop in and grab several bags for my hubby and soldiers, and they all rave about it! Thank you, Little Lucy?s for amazing donuts, and customer service! We will see you in about a week! ??

I was blown away at how much flavor their sugars have! The donuts are delicious and their pistachio lavender sugar is great. We pored it with the raspberry jam and it was delightful. Definitely give this place a try while on Rainey St.

Insanely delicious! We had a small bag of pistachio lavender (vanilla?) and they smelled better than anything in the world. Hot, sweet, doughy goodness. You just GOT TO.

Looks good but actual product is less than mediocre for the price. We ended up getting a big mush of donut like material in the bag with a bunch of flavored sugar on top. Donuts basically fell apart in the bag and didn?t taste that great. Cool concept but you?re just paying for the gimmick.

Mini donuts, not just donut holes. They have a variety of different toppings, which are like sugar/powder toppings. We tried the chocolate hazelnut, cinnamon sugar, and the maple bacon rum. Each one was quite good. And the price is pretty good too! $5 for the little bag, which can contain 6+ mini donuts. Definitely good for a quick sweet snack on Rainey St.

They have all these mouthwatering flavors and only sell in bags of 6 or 12 minis. The tricky part is that you can only choose 1 flavor and all the donuts in the packet will be of that flavor only (regardless of bag size). Why have these many options if people will only be able to try 1 of them? Might as well stick with the cinnamon sugar traditional donut, which was also the best of the 2 we tried (the attendant was nice enough to make an exception to the 1-flavor-only rule after we insisted a little!).

These mini donuts are so delicious! They come out hot and quick! The flavors are creative and tasty. My favorite would have to be blueberry and lemongrass. It comes out all covered in blue sugar. The flavor reminds me of trix cereal. Will keep them in mind to cater a wedding :)

Sorry to do this, but these donuts are gross. I ordered the pistachio lavender vanilla and it tasted like I ate a plant. No pistachio or vanilla taste at all. Bunch of sugar on them that didn?t do anything for the flavor. I also tried the blueberry lemongrass, again, no blueberry flavor at all and only tasted the lemongrass. Also tried a peanut butter banana, could only slightly taste the peanut butter, but mostly tasted the oil. I?m only giving two stars because they were soft and fluffy. These are nasty d

Fine little donuts, I really liked how they came out hot. They're like mini-versions of plain cake-style donuts, only they're seasoned with some flavorings. The flavorings are pretty subtle, though, even for someone like me that usually likes subtle flavorings. I really liked the light touch with the sugar. However, I think the two flavors I got were pumpkin spice and cinnamon sugar donuts, or something like that, but I couldn't really tell them apart.

Great dessert option (hard to beat fresh donuts) but I agree that the flavors were pretty subtle. They were very soft and pillowy, and while I like a donut that is soft in the middle, I prefer it to have a little texture to it. The best we had was the straight up cinnamon and sugar!

Little Lucy's donuts definitely are good, but it's the customer service and sanitization for me . Cedric was giving very much rude and it was unnecessary. After 5 minutes of being gone he came back into the truck and didn't wash his hands and also was very short with my guest as though we'd offended him . Bad for business and will ruin the experience for new customers . It's a no for me if he's there . Great donuts though ! Just enough for me.

Warm, delicious, and oh so addictive. These were AMAZING mini donuts and the service was great as well! I was told from the start my dipping options and how long my order would take, and I was not dissappointed. They unfortunately forgot to give me my dipping sauce though.

15 min per customer. Waited 30 min then gave up. Royal blue has good and way faster desserts. I hope these guys can speed up.

I ordered little Lucy?s on Uber eats. They sent me mini donuts that was sitting outside for long grace of a period. Then got the order wrong. Send only one 6 count donuts. Top it off with a dead bee inside my mini donuts. Now I will not sit here & say I didn?t eat it. I did. It was good. Come on guys. I don?t dip my donuts in caramel. I deep them in Nutella. I?m European dawg. Not cool.

These donuts are deliciously fried, with a crisp sugary crust..I usually just go with the cinnamon sugar although the other flavors are tasty too. Love the Rainey Street location!! The cute friendly dude with a mohawk is always movin with purpose so they?re fast n fresh! I keep coming back for more ??

Delicious when hot and fresh! I love the cinnamon sugar flavor. I?ve had them at the Rainey St. Location and the Domain. They melt in your mouth and are light (not leaving you feeling heavy after eating them).

I CANNOT stress how good these are. They're warm, and delicious and super sugary! I love these, but if you don't like super sugary sweet things, this place may not be for you. I totally recommend the Italian Meringue donuts!!

Awesome people awesome flavor and great quality ?? do recommend for any type of person craving doughnuts!

Have ordered Little Lucy?s online a few times, and it?s been a hit every time. Was able to visit them in person tonight, and the experience was even better. Ordered 6, telling them I was practicing self-control, and I may have walked out with a few extras. :)

PROS: 1) easy ordering online 2) friendly customer service 3) cute packaging 4) hot fresh tiny donuts. CONS: 1) cost 2) bitter hot coffee with no real milk 3) essentially just sugar donuts. The choice of donut flavors originate only from a variety of sugar combos. There are no actual nuts, chocolate, bacon or other real substances in these donuts. This is why there aren't any variety packs - the sugars would get all mixed up. My recommendation would be to stick with 1 pack of sugar cinnamon and go buy your

Too conveniently located a few yards from bars and restaurants. You will easily/drunkenly stumble to this very fragrant dessert truck. It's hard to miss, with its bright pink truck and unique aroma trail leading to it. Unfortunately this place is highly recommend. They are quick service, with a crunchy sugary crust and a soft sweet center. This is no dunkin donuts. Bite size sweet treats with unique flavors, you'll have to come back for more... just wait til next weekend.

Not tryna be mean, but these donuts aren't that good. The donut itself has a nice texture, but the two specialty sugars I've tried have some sort of weird chemical taste to them. Maple Bacon Rum and Chocolate Espresso are not good. The standard cinnamon sugar mini donuts are tolerable, but I'd much rather have the no-frill mini donuts from the fair. I won't be returning.

Amazing mini donuts served fresh and hot. So many delicious flavors to choose from. Great area for them to be at and hits the spot.

First time trying little Lucy?s got the cinnamon sugar! Best doughnuts I?ve had in a long time the guy working was super funny great service perfect after dancing for a couple of hours will recommend

Sadly, we received no greeting or welcome from the person working the Domain stand last night. As she stood with her back turned away from us she asked what we were getting, as soon as I said big bag, she corrected me to large followed by a heavy sigh of frustration. She then said she didn?t know if she had enough, I asked her to just let me know and I?d adjust my order. She then said she could do it only to become even more frustrated as I relayed the rest of my order, 2 large and one small. Again, I was w

I had a friend make a recommendation, which led me to making a stop today. Delicious mini donuts with a variety to choose from. Great service from the gentleman today. Very satisfied with the few flavors I tried!

My favorite donuts in Austin. They Fry these up to order and have a variety of flavor options. I generally go with cinnamon sugar. The owner, Adam, is a super nice guy, as is his other staff. This is an automatic late Night snack when we are out on rainey Street. Don't pass it up!

Donuts! We had Little Lucy?s little pink trailer come out to our wedding and haven?t heard one single bad thing about it. My husband and I don?t really like wedding cake but we LOVE Little Lucy?s and our love has only grown after our wedding. It was so amazing! I highly recommend them for any event!

These were super soft and fluffy on the inside and a bit crisp on the outside. Honestly the freshes donuts I've ever had and the sugar flavors were delicious too. We tried apple pie and Italian cream cake.

You know what you need after a savory meal? A sweet treat. You?ve spent all day sitting in boring conferences at the convention center. You deserve a special treat for working so hard. You what sounds really good after a couple drinks? Carbs on carbs on carbs. The pistachio lavender sugar flavor is nothing less than amazing. Your mind, body and soul will thank you later.

I mean who doesn?t love cinnamon sugar dusted fried dough ?? Fried to order & super yummy.

This place is phenomenal! They have mini donuts that are cooked fresh as you order. They are dusted in cinnamon sugar and you can also get dipping sauces for them. This is my favorite desert spot in Austin. My only complaint is that the hours are somewhat random and sub-optimal. They don't open until 7pm on weekdays. I wish they would open at 5 or 6 so I could grab some donuts on the way home from work. Plus they are closed mondays and tuesdays for some reason.

Holy Moly this place is heaven!!! I got the Italian cream cake doughnut with the raspberry dipping sauce and I am in love!! Also had the apple cider and was pleasantly surprised to find they put cinnamon sticks in with it and it was a wonderful treat! Everything was warm and perfect, I wish I lived here I would have these every day!
