Awesome place to dine... pick your choice breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or even an after-hours snack an excellent choice anytime.

First time going there and it was a great experience. As soon as we walked in (party of 4), we were immediately seated, mind you it's Sunday @ 10:45AM. The staff was super friendly. Our waiter came to us quickly and offered drinks and gave us extra time to look over the menu. He came back and got our order and in little to no time wait, our food was ready and FRESH. The proportions were great for the price and everyone enjoyed their meal. You can tell that the atmosphere is family oriented and I want to say

At first sight this spots gives off, ?unfriendly community vibes?. However to my surprise the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was well prepared and the coffee was lovely. If there were to adjust their appearance, this place would take off.

Delicious and good amount of food. I took my daughter to have breakfast and the staff was super friendly. I haven?t tried the other dishes so next time I?ll try them and put a 5 stars, so far it?s really good option in the area

Traditional diner food made with love. I have eaten my way across the menu, and I liked everything. Order the chicken souvlaki platter ?? but make sure you are wearing stretchy pants. The breakfast is great too! Good coffee and always service with a smile from my adoptive Greek family.

I ordered to go the sandwich was good but the bread taste slightly stail and dry. Service was off the wall. She was really nice and the aide of diner nice size bathroom was clean

This place is a dump and is ridiculously expensive. Chicken sandwich deluxe and burger deluxe set me back 40 bucks and was literally cafeteria food. The waitress took our order and brought our food and never returned. We had to search for her to get the check. Will not return. I'm at a loss for their 4.5 star rating as this place is terrible.

Save your money go somewhere else I asked for a grilled cheese and they gave me cold cheese on bread. I had to return it back. The food was cold and it was literally like nursing home hospital food.

Came because of the reviews. Sign on the corner of the table when you come in. States to please wait to be seated. 2 people came inside and sat down. The counter lady went and ask them what they like all while we were still waiting to be seated

Tried the Spanish Omelette and it was fresh and delicious. Coffee was on point during the cold rainy day on a Sunday. Staff is friendly and were OK with me sitting at the counter. Had a nice chat. Great vibe! Keep up the great work!

Great food and service. I especially loved the senior lunch specials for my mom. Of course I had to eat a salad thanks to my stomach issues. Restaurant is much bigger inside than what it appears on the outside. Will definitely return.

This is the quintessential neighborhood diner. Where they know your name and how you like your coffee. The food is always served fresh and hot. Try the souvlaki, pork or chicken. The eggplant is delicious. Having breakfast here is a must.

We have a breakfast at least 2 times a year here.. my friend visits from Arizona. We are always treated great by staff, we unfortunately found out our favorite waitress had passed on from cancer. They have a lovely tribute to her. Food is always good and we will continue our visits every time she comes to NY! Service is very pleasant and quick!

Liberty is my favorite diner. Its my go-to spot for everything. Coffee, a quick bite, take-out so I don?t have to cook. They?re a family run business and treat their customers as family. You can sit at the counter for a quick bite or take a booth. Just know that weekends are their busiest times. Leave some extra time if you?re going for breakfast/brunch because so is the rest of the neighborhood ha! I love their breakfast food and I could seriously live off their coffee!! But the best part is the service.

A beautiful diner. Everyone there is wonderful and kind with a big heart. The food is reallllllyyyy good too especially simple American style food and their Greek food but all in the end is really good to. Honestly it?s what you?re in the mood for. I?m lucky to be able to go whenever. ^_^

It's a classic neighborhood diner. They have the best veggie burger I've had in a while. The food was delicious and what made it even better, the service is fantastic. You're first time there they will make you feel welcome like they've known you for a while. I can't recommend this place enough!

Local neighborhood diner. Very polite and attentive staff. Diner was clean, but very plain and not decorated. VERY basic and uninspired menu, no risks taken. Ordered onion rings, cheeseburger deluxe, and gyro. Food was adequate, not good but not bad. EVERYTHING served was from Restaurant Depot. I wish that this diner would aspire to be more than just "good enough." I can't recommend a place that charges the same price as other restaurants who serve delicious handcrafted food in a much more upscale atmospher

I was informed that the home fries had onions and peppers in them so I chose to order those over the French fries. I found one teeny, tiny speck of a diced green pepper in the small serving size, no onions at all, and the taste was bland, even with me adding salt and pepper. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Came for breakfast with my spouse, she had scrambled eggs on whole wheat toast with bacon and I had a scrambled egg on a toasted roll with butter. We were both very satisfied with our plates and the coffee was much to our liking. Prices are just right.

From the moment we entered the coffee shop the owner greeted and welcomed us. After going to one diner for so many years and my salon operator moving across the street from this coffee shop, I hoped to get my usual oatmeal with water for breakfast. Had to wait for our food for 1.5 hour without any explanation or heads up. Only when we wanted to walk away they ran to the kitchen and brought food. Our kids ordered grilled cheese that could easily have been made an hour before. They were starving. Some other tables got bread at least, but we didn't. This was the second time that it took us a very long time to get our food. Will never go here again.

JLeone, I've been coming to Liberty diner, 5 years. Mostly, I dine out there. Either, in/out, it doesn't matter, THE BEST EVER!!! The eggs, bacon, sausage, fries, toast breakfast, PERFECT ??. With the talented, gracious, (beautiful) MONA LISA, staff (cook I don't know his name) OUTSTANDING!!!!

There are only two places I eat out at and Liberty Diner is one of them. The servers are friendly and helpful. Management is top notch. I have been eating and ordering deliveries from Liberty since 2014.

Great service. Food was great and the delivery was fast. The lady taking the order over the phone was so friendly and nice. When I want a good fast meal this is the place to call and they are very clean which is a big plus for me. I love this place!!

Today is my birthday and all the waitress song happy birthday to me. It was very nice of them and special of all of them to treat me, my wife and son like family. They are very good people and nice to everyone that goes there.

Lack luster to say the least. I went here for brunch with my mother. I ordered the ?challah French toast? with orange juice and she ordered a cheeseburger deluxe ?medium well. The orange juice was boxed Tropicana. Which was the first red flag, if a diner can?t make fresh squeezed then to me that isn?t an authentic diner. The French toast was done with regular sliced bread which was the second red flag and the final was my mothers burger was obviously well done because the patty is not fresh, they?re frozen.

The service and atmosphere were great; friendly with the small town vibe. There were regulars there, which is always a good sign. But the food was just OK. Portions were pretty small for the price.

Service was good, didn't have to wait too long for it?. Breakfast for Three of us cost me a pretty penny. Was happy and all until the bill came. Damage control was $50!! Inflation is to blame, right?! Don't think I'll go out to eat for a while.

This place is just ok. Nothing really special to mention. Breakfast is decent and it's an acceptable place to sit down and grab a quick lunch. The food is much better at Golden Eagle just up the block. This is not a restaurant I'd say I would frequent or recommend. Check out some other reviews before making your own informed decision.

Came here for brunch after work and liked the food, though some breakfast items don?t make much sense when it comes to pricing. I don?t think I?d eat here consistently because of the pricing, but it?s one of the better sit down breakfast options in the area

Found this great diner whilst on holiday in NYC. Ate there most mornings and were made to feel really welcome from day one. It's a family run business and you can tell, the staff are fantastic and the food is great. If you're in the area pop in you won't be disappointed.

Liberty Diner is a great place. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served anytime. The facility is clean with polite service and reasonable prices. The only downside- no parking lot, though street parking is usually available.

I've been ordering from the Liberty for a while, but recently the food doesn't taste the same. The hamburger tasted like it was re heated so did the french fries. I think I'm going to take a break from them for awhile.

Liberty Diner has to be the greatest diner I?ve ever dined at. The food is phenomenal. The salad bar is top notch. The blonde hostess that only works in the summer just may be the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Hellen is also dope yo.

I wouldn't know how it was. The political undertone was too over whelming. Non Whites not welcome was my impression from the natives . The waitress seemed nice and I doubt sincerely it was her view. We stopped in and had to leave out due to free speech requirements.

I had the grits with cheese and one egg Sunny side up with two slices of buttered white toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast here. The service was prompt and cordial. However I feel it was a bit over priced for what I ordered. $8.45 considering a container of 5 minute grits costs $2.99 at the corner grocery store. A cup of coffee is $1.00 and two slices of buttered white toast is $1.50 at any bodega/deli.
