For people that have been in Madison awhile, we know this new location has been long and anxiously awaited. :) I?m so happy to see them have their own space, and not just finding their treats throughout various coffee shops. Vegan, SEVERAL different and unique flavors, and most importantly delicious. I?ve had near all of them over a long period, but my favorite is the Boston Dream pie, blueberry lemon, strawberry rhubarb, and standard vanilla. To name just a few ?? best donuts in Madison and the easiest of
Best donuts ever! My son has an egg allergy and I've been vegan for a year. I never expected to have donuts comparable to Greenbush ever again but Level 5 IMHO has them beat. We tried five different flavors and they were all amazing. Boston Dream was my favorite with mixed berry cheese cake as a close second.
Like so many others, I?ve been relentlessly chasing Level 5 all over the city for years, waking up early to get them before they sell out at the coffee shop nearest to me, driving to the other side of town to pick up my orders, and waiting in hour long lines at vegan fest and pop ups? so it?s safe to say I am beyond thrilled about the new store. My non-vegan friends and family absolutely love them, and as a vegan they are actually to die for, especially if you?ve gone years without donuts. I digress, Level
Delicious donuts?unique flavors that are not too crazy and most importantly, GOOD. Tried the PB & jelly, gf berry cheesecake, and rhubarb crisp donuts. I think they have the best gluten free donuts I?ve ever tried, although the berry cheesecake flavor we had tasted a bit artificial.
Take all of my money ?? I have been a level 5 mega fan for YEARS! Finally having a stroe where you can get a ton of flavors is soooo nice!! Many non-vegan friends are now obsessed with them too. They don't taste "vegan" at all. As a donut enthusiast, I couldn't recommend a place more. Worth the drive!!
So glad they have a brick-and-mortar shop! Level 5 donuts are truly some of the best in the area, if not the very best. Don't let the "vegan" part dissuade you. I'm not vegan. Heck, I'm pretty much the opposite of a vegan, but these are simply fabulous donuts--great texture, innovative flavors, and beautifully presented.
It?s a good thing I live in Chicago because otherwise I would be broke if I lived anywhere near these donuts. Don?t walk, RUN! So light and fluffy and delicious, the best vegan donut I have ever had in my life. I?ve tried the glazed, chocolate, and churro so far, and I truly believe you can?t go wrong with any one you pick. Thank you, so much, for making such a sweet treat <3
Best donuts in Madison (Wisconsin?!) and it?s not even close. The only thing better than the donuts is the people. Eat these donuts readily and regularly and support a fantastic local small business! For those trepidatious about the idea of a vegan donut - these are better than any butter and egg laden donuts you?ve had, I promise.
Fresh. Crispy. Decadent. It feels unnecessary to qualify Level 5 as simply the best vegan donuts ever, when there is nothing that eggs and cream fillings could add to this Madison gem. Come into their well-deserved new storefront and try one of their many delicious flavors.
I have been on the lookout for a delicious yeast donut in Wisconsin since I moved 3 years ago: Level 5 donuts is the first place that has really knocked my socks off. Stop in and get the Almond Joy donut ? even if you?re not a fan of the candy bar, you won?t be disappointed. 20/10 recommend.
Amazing vegan donuts! Fun flavors ?? We came in the afternoon, and they still had 6 flavors left to choose from.
I can tell you that the maple-glazed long john is delicious! Small storefront (the awning doesn't have their name on it yet) and small selection case and pricey donuts, but worth it! These donuts are creative and delicious. Go. Try.
Love the donuts!! The flavors were so awesome unique and different that we tried 5 more!! ??. Absolutely need to check this place out and bring the family maybe ??
Aaron and his crew do an amazing job. I'm not vegan, but I love these donuts! Highly recommended.
Amazing people and even better donuts. And they are the only donut shop willing to fill their long johns. Must come here!!!
?Boston dream doughnuts are to drive for? quote from my Missouri family who has gone to level 5 every time they visit and get enough to last for the week. They have also requested we bring them down to st.louis for them when we visit. Safe to say the best vegan doughnuts in the midwest.
The donuts here are amazing. I?ve loved everything I?ve tried so far; the Almond Joy Boy is hands down the best donut I?ve ever had!
SO good! Classic flavors and fun flavors, solid good donuts. Don't sleep on the everything bagel bites either!!! They're amazing.
Have you even lived yet? If you haven't had a Level 5 donut yet, the answer is no. Best donut I've ever had (and I'm not vegan).
These donuts are absolutely amazing. Could not recommend more to vegans and non-vegans alike.
Got their chocolate donut at the Willy street co-op for the 5th time today and it is literally the best donut I?ve ever had!!
Best donuts in Madison. I?m so happy they finally opened their own location ??
I think these are the best donuts in Madison
Our favorite donuts in town (and ever)!
The best donuts I've ever had!!!
I was so excited to try this place but the donuts tasted and looked overdone. They were very brown and not tasty. All the flavor was in the frosting. :/ maybe we got them on an off day?
Flew in from California. Decided we?d have coffee and donuts then visit botanical gardens. Went to coffee joint but they said they no longer have Level 5 donuts since Level 5 opened their storefront. They suggested I call to see if they are sold out. I didn?t?it?s a donut shop. Surely they?ll have some after the gardens. Nope! I called after the gardens and they said we?re sold out?well, there?s ONE donut left. I told her if she could save it since we were so far away, and I?d be there in five minutes. Not
