Leo's Donuts

I visited Leo?s Donuts and was seriously impressed! The chicken tamales were incredible?full of flavor, with tender chicken and perfectly seasoned masa. You can tell they?re made with care. We also tried the pistachio and honeydew drinks, and they were both fantastic! The pistachio drink was creamy and nutty without being overly sweet, and the honeydew drink was light, refreshing, and smooth. Of course, I couldn?t leave without grabbing a few donuts. They were fresh, fluffy, and had just the right amount

Really nice worker but just a mixed experience when it comes to the offering. The donut I had was good. Didn't taste stale and the right amount of sweetness. The empanadas and tamales were pricey and just okay. Tamales had no flavor, the grocery store ones were better. The empanadas were good but very small. Overall based on the value and taste I wouldn't come again for these two, but would come again for a donut.

Have been here a few times, their donuts are delicious! Not overly sweet, perfect for a craving. I love that they make the redbull infusion drinks, too. The savory filled croissants are yummy. Will try smoothies at some point.

Tamales where fire didn?t disappoint! The donut was really good also ! Didn?t get to try the empanadas but the look amazing.

Stopped by at 6pm, says they close at 9pm. All the lights are off. But I can see a guy inside closing up. I was literally in town from two hours away. I can't even begin to tell you how pissed I am right now I couldn't get donuts.

This place is just okay. The donuts did not taste very fresh at 10 am. Service was not friendly. This is how our first visit went: -Me: Hello, this is our first time here, I?ve been wanting to try your donuts for a while! ?? -Lady working: (Straight face & No response) ?? I ordered a maple bar (it was just okay) and my partner had a cream filled donut (stale). I don?t recommend this place.

This place has the most amazing tamales and empanadas. Drove all the way from Orange County and bought two dozen tamales and half a dozen empanadas. They even make jalapeno Cheetos tamales we bought four and they are unbelievable.

Overall 4.3 stars, biggest issue is that they don't have a wide variety, but imagine this is due to volume of customers. Though, increasing variety may get more customers, but maybe they have already tried this. I remember when this location was a field, been open for over 10 years now I think. Donuts are good, as you would expect. Location is a bit small, but do get steady customers coming in. Also carry empanadas, have tried most of them, they are okay. Parking is decent. These are the best donuts i've ever eaten in 28 years. I have traveled to 9 countries and many many cities eaten at a lot of donut shops and the way this place makes their donuts a variety of soft crispy I can't even explain.... Mind-blowing! The man that tends the register is very polite and gave my daughter a lollipop. The empanadas are good can't wait to go back and try tamales! ????

Refuses to give water to customers. And will charge you for water and not give you an itemized receipt.

I stopped in to get a cup of coffee and an empanada. Both were very good. I will go back again to try the tamales, also the donuts looked delicious. Oh, one small glitch, the credit card machine wasn't working, so next time I will take cash to pay for purchases.

Tamales are really good. Almost a little too spicy. But they are the best we?ve tasted up here. The empanadas are amazing. The only complaint is that she is way to over priced for tamales. And the empanadas. Lower the price for people a little and you?ll see more purchases

Been a loyal customer since they opened. They still have the best donuts in hesperia. The owner is an amazing person and always happy to see his customers. Oh and there tamales and Empanadas are so delicious.

Very rude man (owner). 38$+tax for tamales? Price for a dozen but only had 8 and wouldn't adjust price, said if you don't like it go somewhere else. Ice coffee loaded with almost entirely of ice. Rip off. The empanadas are tasty though

Fiance and I bought a place down the street last year, come here for donuts every so often, have always been happy with them. Smells and looks clean inside, which is important IMO especially for a hole in the wall/mom and pop shop. They obviously take some effort to care for their shop. I believe the couple that runs it is Argentenian. The lady does have a strong accent but she is very nice and it has never bothered me, and certainly never stopped me from buying a donut. Donuts seem to be a step above aver

I had the ham and cheese croissant it was horrible. I was also overcharge price on the board was $4 she charged me $4.50 donut holes look like mini cinnamon rolls will not be going back here again once again was horrible with dice ham other than regular whole ham that I usually get from donut shops overpriced would not recommend.

Came here for the tamales they only had1pork the rest was chicken. Didn't care for the chicken. They have also empanadas they were dry especially the chicken..ehhh and I ordered spinach with cheese empanadas. I felt ripped off no cheese and only half way filled. Sorry not coming back for the empanadas. BOYFRIEND loved the pork tamale he wished they had more.

Not a lot of donut shop options up here in the hd. The donuts are ok (stick with the choc. long johns and the crunch ones). Lately the service is getting worse and worse, maybe bc the owner hasn't been seen around lately.

Leo's was actually open at 5:30am this morning. Last week I tried a couple other places and they were closed! The donut shop is a little expensive but it is in Oak Hills, so that wasn't entirely unexpected. I am very picky about my glazed donuts and have not found any places up here that have the texture I like except Krispy Keene. Leo's donuts are really good!!!

My favorite donut shop in the whole high desert customer service is fast and the fillings are on the stuffy side especially my favorite the ham and cheese croissant. The game and cheese croissant here is very cheesy and flaky and layerd like a croissant should be and the ham Is not too thick and not thin very delicious and we'll made and the donuts always taste fresher have been going to this spot for years because there's simpley not a better donut store period!

Good donut ?? shop in the high desert ??. Personal behind counter r friendly & eager 2 assist. 1 dozens donuts 4 ten bucks. Good deal, good selection. They also sell homemade sandwiches. I will b back.

Today was not the best fantastic day going here. My 2 chesse tamales were super dry to the pork tamale that was simply way under cooked, were you couldn't eat it.

Found lent on my donut and took it back the cashier said it was chocolate from another donut but it wasn't. My kids also said the donuts tasted weird so we won't be going back. But the service was not bad.

Best donuts in town. Every time I come to visit my dad to hesperia I have to stop at this donut shop! Stop by and pick up a dozen or two. You won't regret it.

Love this donut shop. They have breakfast croissants, empanadas and tamales as well. Great service and staff if friendly and helpful with questions and if you need suggestions.

Love the donuts but the last two times I have gotten the pork tamales and they were way to spicy for my kids and they didnt use to be and I've been buying them for 6 years now...

Never a bad donut. The only reason I don'tvgive them more stars is because the place seems to think all of their profit is wrapped up in napkin cost. The keep them behind the counter and you have to ask for them, then when they give you some it is a tiny amount. I always have to ask for more and it is a small thing that tends to bother me.

Always has a great variety to choose from. Food taste good. Always a line in the mornings. Great place to get your donuts.

If u get a chance their beef empanadas are delicious. It's one of the only places in the high desert that has empanadas that remind me of my late grandmas??

They don't only have doughnuts they also sell homemade tamales and they are delicious.

Horrible customer service I asked for a second box (just the box) and they spoke about it Spanish like I wouldn't understand and then charged me an addition dollar for the box no big deal it was only $1 but I was over priced on the dozen donuts that they sold me I bought cream filled donuts that had little to no cream filling The donuts tasted stale and you could taste the grease in them $8 in the trash thanks!
