Le Torte Dolci

Le Torte Dolci

Service is generally friendly, though a few reviews mention poor customer service or unkind staff. Selection can be limited later in the day, so early visits are recommended. The food is pretty good I came Right as they opened. I worked at a bakery in front of house for a while in the past and I was surprised to see the person who Who was working still putting out the labels for every food and getting things ready after It had already opened. I will say if you were going to have one person as front of staff and not have anybody in the back I do not think you should be selling hot food because I ordered some avocado toast and it took 30+ minutes for them to make because there w

I?m mystified by the poor reviews. We try to stop here whenever we?re in Springfield. The variety is impressive when you come from a town where every bakery offers the same donuts and brownies. I can make brownies and cookies at home but wouldn?t think of attempting their European style pastries. Skillful and delicious!

This place was one of my favorites for a few years, and it's unfortunate to see its recent decline. The freshness of the pastries became inconsistent, and the collection rotation has shifted from weekly to monthly, which makes it less appealing to visit frequently, as there's not enough incentive to return to try something different. Additionally, the variety of options available is less everytime I am there. Hours were reduced. I also miss the personable and welcoming service that used to be a hallmark of

They have a deli now! Attached on the other side is a deli that opened December 1st, 2018. Great service, super knowledgeable staff, and absolutely the coziest environment. Definitely worth a trip across town. I got the Roamin' Italian, and it was amazing. I also got a creme square from the actual bakery, and of course those are always amazing!

Decided to check this bakery out as I seen it in a Springfield tourist book I picked up at an Ohio rest area. Got there a little late on a Saturday and the girl said a lot of stuff was already gone. With the more limited selection went with a Almond croissant. It was good, but with a small amount of frosting. It was worth checking out and trying, but not sure the croissant was worth $4.25.

Delectable. We honestly needed a solid bakery in Springfield that sold more than just donuts and wasn?t made by a chain store. This place obviously bakes with love because everything was amazing. If you ever want something fun for breakfast, this is the place. Oh and the sourdough was the best I?ve EVER had (other than my own, of course) it?s genuine sourdough, not like the bland stuff you get from Kroger. The sourdough is clearly baked traditionally in a Dutch oven as you get the nice residue from the bott

I picked this location to work out of today because I had a lot of things to get don?t and I don?t live in Springfield. The person working behind the counter was not friendly. The WiFi DID NOT WORK AT ALL. The environment was dusty and generally unclean. Syrup running down garbage cans. Dust was even in the restrooms. Crumbs on the floor and not one table was cleaned after guest left. Final issue was having to wait over 15 min for half a salad that had burnt bacon on it. The food was mid.

You can taste the skill and quality. I love the crueller?s and the cheese danish. The staff is alway so friendly. My son loves to ring there service bell. Keep up the good work.

Stopped in to this nice little bakery to grab something to go with my Starbucks coffee. They had a nice variety of baked goods to choose from. I got the butter croissant. It was nice and crunchy on the outside and flaky and soft in the middle. They also had cream horns. Some filled with pumpkin creme. I wish I would have gotten one to go. Great little place to stop by.

Always a family favorite! We love visiting and always trying something new. Le Torte Dolci always has a great variety and that means we can try new things. They have the flakiest pastries in town and make a mean donut. We love the customer service and friendly atmosphere. We have been coming since they opened and often they great us by first name and remember our kiddos names as well! I highly recommend stopping by especially in the morning to get a warm pastry.

The sandwich was sub par. Surprise me to see a bakery with bad bread .

My favorite place to get pastries in Springfield! If you have a sweet tooth like me, then you?ll have to check out this hidden gem! One of my favorite items was the cannoli. The pastry shell was crispy and light, and the filling was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. I also tried a slice of the chocolate cake, which was moist, decadent, and utterly indulgent.

Thank you Chef Lisa! The Best German Chocolate Cake Ever! My husband loved it on his birthday! My sister was visiting from Florida and wished that this cake could be shipped! Amazing staff!

Expensive for what you get, but very very good. Cruellers were supposed to be flavored, like egg nog or cherry. I think someone forgot the flavor bc I got 1 of each and there weren't any flavor differences at all.

I initially started going to Le Torte dolche to check it out and pass time while waiting on another establishment close by to open. It has since then become one of my absolute favorite places to go. I love love love the french pastries and I absolutely adore that everyday there is an entirely new selection to go with my everyday favorites. If you like to indulge in delightful food and haven't been yet, I 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Paired with the Salato deli, it's a win win!!

I was in here a couple days ago with a sizeable order. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but the lady that helped me was super patient and respectful. She had short hair and I think her name was Amy. I could have been considered a little difficult to deal with at the time but her customer service was above and beyond. The items I ordered were great but I will continue to use this bakery because of the customer service alone. 5 stars to this employee

We placed an order for an assortment of savory and sweet pastries for a work event. Everyone said their pastry was AMAZING. Croissants were super flaky and flavorful. I personally had the egg, cheese and ham pastry and it wasn't warm by the time I ate it but even cold it was bomb. HIGHLY recommend Le Torte Dolci and will be a destination spot for me when I'm in town on business.

A true Parisian bakery right in our own hometown!! Delicious, fresh and natural ingredients make these bakes goods a true delight! Authentically made, pastries, cakes, whoopie pies, macarons, cheesecake, croissants, cream horns & squares, Gelato and so much more, are sure to delight! Lots of daily baked specials too. Truly a delicious, refreshing experience ??

Always the best pastry and cakes at the holidays and service is always incredible and nice atmosphere ??

Poor customer service. No refunds issued if you are unhappy with service. Buyer beware.

The sandwich I got here was one of the most delicious that I've ever had in my life. I decided to stop in for lunch bc I was nearby for work, and I'm so glad I did. They've got great quality cured meats that I haven't seen anywhere else around. The bakery items looked really good, but I didn't try any. I will have to come back.

Wonderful service. Delicious treats! We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful place in downtown Springfield!!

I ordered a pick up order of macaroons for a work holiday party. I had to wait over 10 minutes to receive my pick up order (sitting on a shelf, bit had to wait in line to receive it. Not very convenient). The macarons were not in a macaroon sleeve, but a clam shell which cracked the macarons. When I asked if they could be put into a sleeve the associate seemed annoyed. Lastly, the macaroons were extremely chewy. Macrons should not be chewy. It seemed like they were old (I picked up at 8:00am). A total waste

I used to come here every week with my boyfriend and get the spicy pig sandwich, but they have changed the type of bread they use and it is not as good. I decided to try their peppered pig this time, but the English muffin was so dry and stale that it was inedible. Not to mention they forgot my order and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes before they made it. For the price it?s just not worth it for their sandwiches.

Best bakery in Springfield! All of their pastries are HUGE! Staff is always so friendly. Online ordering is a breeze! And my order is always ready quickly. Some items could use a little more filling to balance out the pastry to filling ratio, but that's probably just my fat heart talking! ????

Scrumptious pastries 30 min. from home! Worth the time and money to go EARLY! Yelp page has current daily menu selections as well as a list of everyday offerings. We love the pepperoni and provolone croissant as well as the cream horns. Not too sweet. Delightfully fresh and so flaky!

Everything I have had from this bakery is the very best. Tough to say what my favorite is but I always get a cream horn. This is my favorite breakfast stop without a doubt love it 10 out of 10 !!!

Absolutely love this Bakery. Le torte has a lot of variety and sells some of the best pastries I've ever had. If you get a chance to try one of their donuts don't pass it up! So glad to have this close to home.

While the items we bought were yummy the place and employee at the front were definitely not welcoming. It?s more of a to-go place. We came in for my moms birthday expecting to have coffee and breakfast. They had juice and water. The pastries were not warmed up and since she put them in the box the impression was not sit and stay a while. Yes, there is coffee next door but we weren?t sure they would like us taking food in. Drip coffee and a friendly hello would go a long way here.

Update stopped in today got new cannolis. The chocolate chips I believe are what is making the taste and smell off but the non dipped was very good! Got a bunch of other things to try. Much more happy with this visits outcome! husband surprised me with a couple of things there for my birthday today. The cream filled croissant was ok. Croissant part was a bit over baked but ok. He also got me some Cannolis he was impressed that you filled them on the spot. The cream was not sweet like not even a little. It

Excellent pastries. And I do mean REAL pastries! We aren't talking about the frozen, thawed and baked like Kroger's has. I must say I don't believe that they make the pastry dough from scratch, but they do seem to form, bake and fill their pastries by hand with fillings and icing that tastes like the real thing!

Love the scones and macaroons! People complaining that they ran out or didn?t have a wide selection need to realize that these are made daily and not mass quantities I am guessing so there is no waste. Get out the door in the morning and have yourself a delicious scone! As for the 2 star review from Leah she gives all bad reviews see for yourself.... it?s sad since this is a great place and we need more small original establishments in this town.

I love love the macaroons and whoopie pies here! The coconut almond gelato is amazing as well! Personally, I am not a big fan of the cream horns or chocolate cream squares because I find the croissant part to be a bit too greasy. I will definitely be going back to try more of the daily fresh made desserts!!

Wonderful little bakery making a small variety of artisan baked goods fresh daily. I have tried quite a few different items, all delicious and creative. Well worth a visit anytime you are in the area, they only make so much, so get there early for best variety

While visiting my family in Springfield, I had saw on Facebook this new little bakery had opened there. I've alway been a hardcore die hard fan of Schuler's, but not any more! You have to go there to get a taste of heaven. The bake goods are made with lots of love and passion. The best macaroons around besides Paris. I highly recommend going there to see for yourself. Go early so you won't miss out on the selection. I was honored to meet the owner, Lisa, who is just a sweet as her homemade bake good

I fully intended on buying a few pastries until the girl at the counter yelled at my 2 year old for touching an ice cream cup and states "well great now I have to throw that away" then proceeds to act like it's a nuisance to have my 2 year old twins (and my husband and I holding their hands) in the store. I could have done without all the huffing and puffing. FYI: NOT A KID FRIENDLY BAKERY!!

I got in the last hour they were open but the place smells delightful and the person behind the counter was super helpful. The baked goods were great! In a terrific location as well.

The staff was very friendly. The French crullers and croissant sandwiches were amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend! ????

Have enjoyed bake goods love yeast donut but its been about a year since i,ve see that donuts but decide to stop today the first item a breakfast sandwich no flavor and donuts smell of old oil was use cost to much for this. Very disappointed

I ordered a coconut cream and lemon filled torte for a reveal party which is supposed to be light and fully instead I got a heavy hot mess. I was so embarrassed to feed it to my guessed. The cake was wet they soaked it coconut liquor which was over powering. If you are not familiar with something tell people that. I would rather pay for something good that you can actually make. I paid $48 for a cake that the grocery store could?ve made better. No decorations on the cake which they assured me would be on it

Sandwich looked nice but they put bacon jam on it when I specifically asked for no bacon jam. Please read instructions?besides this being a total waste of money, I could have gotten very sick.

Visited at 10am on a friday, and they had a very limited selection (no cookies, only macarons, and no cakes, just random pastries). There were maybe 7 different options, and the place spelled like burnt cheese. Not really inviting. We bought a scone that was bland and dry. Underwhelming

There is nothing negative to be said about this place. They offer a great daily variety of delicious baked goods and everyone is always friendly. I would already put them on a shortlist of Springfield treasures.

Wonderful bakery shop! Smells fill the air with all the fresh baked items. I especially like the cream horns with deliciously rich creamy filling...best ever!

Breakfast treats are such a delicious splurge! Love the vibe this place brings to downtown.

I'm going with 3 stars as a result of poor quality customer service. I ordered on line, received a comf. Text and email. Arrived to be told they had no order. The young lady assisting me seemed unconcerned with the failure. I had to be the one to prove my order and then make substutions for what they no longer had. I will be emailing soon.

This is a great place to stop for coffee and pastries. The breakfast options however are some of the absolute worst in town.

Stopped in for the first time today. Service was friendly. The chocolate cherry poke cake was delicious!

This is a wonderful spot in downtown Springfield. They have breads, pastries, and baked goods that you can't get anywhere else. Try to get there early for the best selection. You won't be disappointed.

Wat over priced and food so-so

Everything we have tried has been wonderful. Just like European bakeries you have to get there early for best selection. Happy to have them in Springfield.

This place fills a space that was missing in Springfield. Great variety of macarons and other pastries! A must visit that may turn into a daily desire.

I had my first ever chocolate tart from here and it was amazing! I will definitely be returning to try the cheesecake, cookies, and gelato.

Went in on Saturday to do a pickup arrived 9:52AM for an order that was scheduled to be ready at 10:06AM. The order was finally ready at 10:31AM, long after scheduled pickup time. The person making the order seemed new. Customers were not thrilled with how late their orders were.

This is a little gem of a bakery. Had a donut croissant and a cream square. A little pricey, but well worth it. Yes Please!

I got the french macroons for my granddaughters birthday! They were so nicely packaged and taste wonderful! many assorted flavors....AWESOME!!!~

Met with an individual that was not familiar with Springfield but wanted to be in the downtown area. Enjoyed several pastries which were shared.

Simply love this bakery! Everything I have tried has been delicious! The strawberry shortcake roll is amazing!

Had a whoopie pie. Was delicious! Love the rehab of an old building.

The pastries are so amazing. I highly recommend the croissants and cheesecake! The owners are also extremely kind.

This place is super delicious. Even my picky husband loves this! Recommend the cruellers and croissant items!

One of my new favorite places in town. Everything has been delicious and it's entirely worth making a stop at least once a week to try something new.

Great pastries. My favourite are the sponge cake with raspberry filling. Get there early for a good selection.

Amazing customer service, cute little shop to have a little date or even by yourself. Loved my pastries delicious ??

Cute ambiance with delicious & buttery puff pastry! Most treats/slices looked large enough to split.

Great pastries! But get there early - not much left to choose from in the afternoon

Their desserts are absolutely delicious. I recommend the macarons. They are all warm and welcoming!!

The food is good but the location and food choices are not great. I went in today and they basically only had macaroons won?t be back.

Great Italian sandwiches. Choice of deli meats, cheese and spreads on fresh focaccia.

So someone got my order name wrong when my name is bob not ezama so unprofessional??????????????

Went on a Saturday morning about 945ish, it took well over 25 minutes for the order to be ready.

Customer crullers! They will take orders and you get pastry to die for!

I absolutely love this place everything is always good. I've been going here since they first opened and it's always been great??

Best bakery in the area. Don't miss it, and go early so you have the best selection.

Amazing pastries and beautiful presentation! Definitly a place I would like to go to again! : )

This place is absolutely wonderful. Who could guess we would have this type of bakery in the Miami Valley.

Without a doubt this is the best bakery in Springfield and the surrounding areas. Truly a treasure!

The best macarons I have ever eaten. Everything is delicious

I love this bakery so much. Even better that while shopping here I am supporting local businesses.

Incredible bakery. Good food awesome pastries.

Love this place. Very friendly, clean, fast service and I have enjoyed everything that I've gotten from them

The owners are an absolute delight! Amazing character, very hard working.

It was my first time there. Everything was delicious!!!!

Our food was excellent! We will definitely be back.

Had the crem Brule...it was da bomb. Cheesecake was yummy too.

While there weren?t a ton of options it wasn?t necessary since the options they had were so good!!!

Authentic French pastry, most definitely the taste of Paris

Absolutely hands down the BEST BAKERY EVER!!
