This place is AMAZING. I?m disappointed in google for not having this higher in recommend when I searched ?family friendly restaurants in Newberry, SC? because wow. The story behind Laila?s Place to the incredible food and the dessert?! Out of this world. Customer service was great. Not to mention it?s black owned! It?s unfortunate that I live 2 hours away but I will absolutely be back!! Especially for more banana pudding ice cream!

A very clean and bright little shop with a distinctive home town feel. Due to being late in the day there were few choices to pick from. I ordered 4 slices of pound cake, 4 mini cheese cakes and a child size 1 scoop sugar cone. The peach ice cream was delicious. My bill was $32 and change, to which I added a tip when prompted on the card reader. It was warranted, the staff was helpful and pleasant. Absolutely loved Laila?s Place! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A true gem in Newberry?can?t wait to go back for the banana pudding ice cream!!

We stopped in for lunch on a road trip, and I?m glad we found this place! Chicken fingers were obviously made fresh, and my chicken salad croissant was delicious. We bought cookies to bring home and they were also excellent (red velvet was my fave). What a find!

I had the pleasure of trying their PBJ donut and it was AMAZING! The powdered sugar, the whipped PB, and the Jelly were all to die for! To be fair, I have never had a bad donut from there. They are also amazing humans! Highly recommend :)

We enjoyed vanilla ice cream, strawberry ice cream, maple donut and glazed donuts from the food truck at Lever Farms. The ice cream is smooth, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. The donuts are soft and fluffy. BUSSIN? as the kids say. 10/10!!!!!!

Absolutely delicious!! Stopped in during a trip on 26 one sleepy Monday for lunch, and had some of the best chicken fingers I?ve ever had? but just when I thought it couldn?t get better, I found the cookies. We tried Laila's Place donuts today at Lever Farm and they were insanely delicious! We'll definitely be coming back for more. Service was fantastic as well. They were patient and very friendly.

We have been picking up donuts and sweets from Laila?s for over a year now! My wife picked up some new flavors this morning and the guy suggested the peanut butter and jelly one!! OH MY LORD it was soooo good!! My wife doesn?t even care for PB&J that much but they made her a believer!! You cannot go wrong with any donut, fritter, roll, etc with these folks!

Let me say, I Was allllrrready a FAN but now they went and did a full menu. Tried chicken strip basket today and it was GREAT!!!!???? Fries and strips were well seasoned.

We visited The Corner Scoop yesterday for lunch. We all had hot dogs and chips. The hot dogs were great. Most of us also had delicious ice cream. Very clean inside and the nice owner gave me a tour of the large and very clean kitchen area. Free parking in the back. Recommended!

Our company of 30+ spent a couple of days in Newberry for a corporate retreat. On our first day, we catered in lunch from Laila's Place. The sandwiches and sides were great. Family recipes made the meal taste like home. We also catered in ice cream and cupcakes for an afternoon treat. Nice flavorful sandwiches. We even ate the crust. Fair tea, not weak, not syrup either. Even offers something peculiar Unsweet tea. Excellent ice cream selection. Good to share a scoop or cone. They do big full scoops. The Pecan Praline is exquisite. Lovely location to take a stroll around the block and window shop. The Inside is clean and doesn't smell good or bad. Unisex restroom is clean. Nice date spot.

One of the employees at the orchid farm recommended this place to us . Not disappointed! Absolutely amazing place to stop for lunch. Everything is delicious and a great price. The banana pudding donut was one of the best I have ever had.

My kids and I often frequent this precious bakery on Saturday's after a visit to the Market and it NEVER Disappoints. I have to give a shout-out for the customer service we received today! We got there right before lunch and had promised donuts for the kiddos for being so good; something they were looking forward to. I love to support local businesses so I will give this place a 3 stars for that. BUT there is room for much improvement! We drove up from Columbia after seeing the ads on Facebook. My favorite place in Downtown Newberry, I can't recommend it enough. I have been maybe a couple dozen times and brought friends here, and I always leave happy. The owners are wonderful people and extremely friendly, and their employees are no less so. They also have some of the best sandwiches and hot dogs I've ever had. Their ice cream selection is huge, and all the flavors are amazing. The entire place is also spotlessly clean. All around one of the best little places I've ever been.

Newberry is my hometown! I have been following Laila?s on social media and couldn?t wait to stop by during my recent visit! I had the opportunity to chat with Laila and her dad and they are very nice people. I purchased a chicken salad, various cakes and a few donuts! Everything was fresh and delicious! Laila?s is such a great addition to the growing Newberry community!

Super cute little ice cream shop! We dropped by for the solar eclipse, when the entire town was slammed with tourists (most of whom wanted ice cream since it was so sunny), but the service was fantastic, and everyone was incredibly warm and friendly despite the hectic crowds. Plus the ice cream was great! Props to everyone who was working that day!

Friendly staff that sells awesome desserts. The lemon square ( they called it something different but for the life of me I can't remember what) was incredible, so of the best I had. We are going to have to return and try the ice cream.

Amazing cupcakes! We went before closing and they were so nice! You get a sandwich, pickle, drink and cookie all for only $10! The customer service was very friendly the girls who were working were nice and helpful!! Great atmosphere!

First, the owner, Jason, is the nicest! I stopped in today to grab lunch and got the 2 hotdogs special (including chips/cookie/soda) for $6.99. My husband and I always stop at the most random places when we travel in search of the best hot dogs. And I have to say some of the best I've had are in my own small town. Their hotdogs are so good! The bun is perfect (warm and soft), and the chili is homemade and perfect (great texture and not too much cumin). And their cupcakes and doughnuts look amazing!

A great array of baked goods: Custom flavor donuts, huge apple fritters, cupcakes, brownies, pecan bars, (even) keto cheesecake, and so much more. All delicious. They also have great ice cream. Eventually, my family will have a chance to sample their sandwiches and salads, but I am hooked on the keto cheesecake. If you're in the area you MUST go in. Grab some pound cake or banana nut bread and a scoop of ice cream. The service is wonderful and I cannot say enough about how delicious the baked goods are. 10 stars!

Bluberry fritter was delicious, but disappointed we were unable to get lunch. We traveled up from Columbia just to have lunch at the Cafe, but were told they'd stop serving just a few moments before we got there. There was nothing on the website about their meal options only being served until 2.

The customer service is wonderful. We were greeted and helped promptly. The food speaks for itself... from the sandwiches to the hotdogs to the chicken salad (OMG!) to the desserts!!! We drove from Spartanburg and it was well worth the trip!!!!!!!

Lalia?s Place has amazing customer service. I absolutely love their sweet treats and their lunch boxes. The lunch boxes are perfect for lunch during my monthly staff meetings and my employees love them.

Great ice cream here! My favorite is the Graham Cracker flavor. An they also sell cakes, cookies and brownies. I even seen peanut butter bars in there like from high school ??

Great items to eat and drink however limited to one item for non dairy if you have food allergies or vegan not crowded ever and decent friendly staffing when we visited.
