Cute little donut shop, ladies working there were very kind, we tried a dozen donuts, kolaches, and a breakfast sandwich. Apple fritter was amazing, cronut was awesome, Maple was tasty, anything filled was solid as well. Had a couple sprinkle iced as well. Will be going back. The sandwich was delicious, could use hot sauce. And the kolaches were amazing. 9.5/10 food overall. Some Better than most, but that?s preference. They were all fresh and lasted for a couple few days as well and still delicious!

Frigging fantastic food. This lady can bake. The biscuits and gravy is made with sausage gravy and huge southern style biscuits. The sausage, cheese and jalape?o kolachees are the bomb. I would definitely come back. They have fruity pebbles sprinkled in the donut glaze... they have an awesome selection!!!

I stopped by this donut shop around 6, and all the donuts were incredibly fresh. The lady working there was so kind, making the visit even better. Their donuts are perfectly light and fluffy, but still have that delightful chewy, bouncy texture?definitely not the cakey kind you often get. The glazes and fillings strike a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and I loved the subtle hint of rum in the filling. Highly recommend!

This was an absolute must in Empire!! Greeted with smiles and the freshest homemade baked goods! Some sweet and some savory, lots of choices. We got there around noon, so after the morning rush and there were still super fresh items to choose from! So glad we stopped, can't wait to return! ????

We have tried lots of donut places in our lifetime around the country , but this place is hands down the best. Everything was so fresh and tasted even better than we had been hoping. Roommate got an apple fritter, which I'm usually not a fan of, but I tried a bite and loved it. Pillowy soft, not chemically sweet like most places. Texture was perfect. If I didn't live 17 hours away, I'd be a regular.

Great post skiing treat on the way home. They had a good selection of fresh donuts that were your basic cake donuts! Be sure to stop by if you?re in town or driving through

We stopped in at Lady Donut House as a club after a trail run?and wow, everything was great! The donuts were fresh and delicious and the service was super friendly. Definitely hit the spot after a day on the trails. We?ll be back for sure!

This is a wonderful place to stop in Empire, CO! The donuts are delicious, the coffee is good, and the bathroom is clean! We frequently drive between Denver and Grand County, CO, and we Lady Donuts will be our go-to from now on. The donuts, in particular, are so so good. It?s hard to make good donuts at high altitudes, and these were a big hit for everyone in our party, from age 7 to age 77!

We?ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of this donut shop in Empire, and we were not disappointed with our first (of many, I?m sure!) visits today. Stopped by Lady Donuts House, while driving through Empire to Denver. Great decision! The donuts were fresh and so tasty! The cake donuts were make just how we liked them, with the slightest bit of crunch on the outside. Customer Service was superb! We?ll be stopping by again!

Oh my goodness! The reviews are right - the donuts, fritters and kolaches are divine. We even got a plain, glazed donut to get a baseline, and it was melt-in-your mouth perfection. Not a heavy, greasy donut - light and airy sweetness. Highly recommend - stop in and enjoy!

FINALLY A REASON TO STOP IN EMPIRE! We have driven through Empire all our life and there has never been a good reason to stop until now. Lady Donuts House might have the best doughnuts in Colorado. The prices are reasonable and you are helping support local business. Next time you head up to Winter Park take a ten minute break and get your doughnut before the pass. Or grab one or two before hitting I-70 it will be a delightful highlight.

Best doughnuts I?ve ever had. Now it?s hard to pass through empire without stopping. Most places the frosting is way too sugary it takes away but it?s a balanced doughnut and they are so fluffy. A++

Such a great addition to the I70 corridor! We've been waiting for a donut shop to come to the area, and we were disappointed. The raised donuts were light and fluffy with just the right sweetness in the icing.

We got a half dozen donuts this morning and WOW! The cake donuts are slightly crispy on the exterior and light, moist, and perfectly sweet on the inside. The yeast options are pillowy and soft and melt in your mouth. The best donuts we have tried in Colorado.

And this donut houses? kolaches are top tier?delicious sausage and cheese +\- jalape?o. Also tried a smattering of donuts and all I can say is get there early when they?re fresh and before they?re gone and they can?t be beat. BEST GRAB-AND-GO BREAKFAST ON THE I70 CORRIDOR!

My wife and daughter brought me an Oreo donut, an apple fritter and an everything bagel. All were very well baked. As the son of 2 generations of New Yorkers, I?m a picky bagel eater.
