Great Krispy Kreme shop in Layton. The staff are so nice and welcoming. The shop itself is clean and open with many windows. My kids were pretty excited to be there and see the glazed doughnuts being made on the conveyer belts. One of the workers gave each of my kids a complimentary doughnut after I ordered my dozen original glazed. Thanks!!
I ordered the Valentine's donuts for my husband, and I was so excited! When I went to puck them up after working a 12 hour shift, I was horribly disappointed by what I received. I was given I dozen regular donuts! The night manager said that they didn't have the stuff to make the right ones, so they gave me what they had. Then he says" just because you pre-ordered then doesn't mean you are going to get them! Excuse me, what? He did refund them and gave me the donuts, but the gift was ruined. I'm very disa
Krispy Kreme Donuts have always been my favorite donuts!! They're soft and delicious! The glaze is amazing just by itself! But the chocolate and sprinkle coverings are amazing too! You get to watch your donuts being made which is so fun for kids and adults alike! I received great customer service and they even have me a free hot donut sample! I highly recommend!
Great donuts when they actually have some to pick from. Service sucked!!! We stood at the counter, and all the employees just looked at us. We were the only customers, and it took between 5 and 10 minutes before someone came over to take our order.
Food is always yum. Only complaint would be the doughnuts being not fresh behind the counter even though they are constantly making fresh doughnuts. The people in front of us asked for a fresh doughnut and the lady behind the counter stated they couldn?t have one because it was ?too hot? and they can only have the doughnuts prepared in the morning before store opening. The lady behind the counter was rude and pushy. I was trying to take my time and she was putting words into my mouth. I ended up getting a 6
Update: 7/1/24 Oscar was the gentlemen that took our order. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind. He knew what they had in stock without having to check. He was quick and efficient and made us the most delicious drinks!!! Our 6 pack of donuts was beautiful and delish!! Thank you Oscar! This location is the only local one that always excels above and beyond!! Store is always neat/tidy. Bathrooms clean! Always have donuts being made so the kids can enjoy watching through the window! Employees are k
Ordered the green glazed donuts for St. Patrick?s day. Order gave error on app when sending through and said it didn?t finish, so tried again and was successful the second time. When I arrived, they were out of the green donuts (not sure how that happened on a holiday?.maybe ran out of food coloring?) I was given the option to cancel order, but decided to just get the regular glazed ones anyway. However they had 2 orders (including the one that said it didn?t go through) so I asked to cancel the second o
I showed up at 5:50 to get in line. First in line just behind the cones. At 6:05 I called and was informed that their manager wasn't there yet, and they couldn't sell me anything until he showed up. When I inquired how long I would need to wait they said 15 to 20 minutes. This is an ultimate fail KKreme. You should be giving your donuts away if you can't sell them. You have lost my business for good. I will advise my associates as well.
I went to stop by the Layton location this morning to pick up 2 to 3 dozen donuts for my classes today and I couldn?t even get in the store because the doors were locked, but the hour says they were open. And everyone in the store looked at me and just went about their business. They were taking care of drive-through, but my truck doesn?t fit in the drive-through so I went to the other door. It was still locked. They all just looked at me again. So for me, I was highly disappointed and didn?t even try again
Super great fast service highly annoyed bought an entire mixed box of specialty donuts and not a single one of them had the cream filling a hole but not one out of a whole box of different cream donuts have NO FILLING how does that happen? So disappointed drove 4 hours because we live that far from a Krispy Cr?me get all the way home and bite in and NOTHING!!!! I paid extra for NOTHING
It's frustrating to drive in from Syracuse to find their doors locked at 6:55 am when the sign on the door, website and Google listing all say the retail store is open at 6 am, Monday thru Sunday. 1/26/25.
WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE??? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS FRANCHISE?? I thought I ordered some pumpkin spice donuts and instead I got what looks like overcooked onion rings!!! And the grease from these disgusting so-called donuts has soaked all the way through the box as you can see. What an absolute waste of money and gas. Krispy Kreme owes me $22 plus gas money.
The store manager Jay is awesome! A very nice guy who cares about his customers, store and employees. My group got to know him and we were all very impressed. Amazing service and doughnuts. Thank you Jay!
Had a dozen doughnuts ordered. When we went to pickup, they were out of most of the flavors. And the ones we were served were not fresh. Every doughnut must have been sitting out for days already because of how hard they were. And at 830 the lobby was locked so we were only able to pickup in the drive through. Very disappointed because I?ve been coming here since I was a kid and this is not the experience I remember. Now it?s just lazy teenagers serving stale doughnuts. I?ve bought better doughnuts from 7-1
I haven?t been to Krispy Kreme in years, but my daughter requested birthday donuts for dessert, so I stopped by today to pick some up. When I pulled up, they had a sign out front saying that the lobby is for online orders only, but that the drive thru is open. No big deal! I just pulled around to the drive thru. As soon as I pulled up, they were immediately ready to take my order. I asked a few questions and then ordered 5 dozen donuts. I had some old coupons from a fundraiser, so I technically only paid f
Love the original Krispy Kreme donuts here. Extra extra love when they are hot and fresh. Thank you to all the kind employees at the drive thru!
This is by the the worst quality, costumer service and environment of any restaurant I?ve ever been to. They were doing repairs while making our food. Using a power grinder shooting sparks everywhere with no protection and the staff almost acted like we were in the way.
The employee that helped us was very kind and welcoming. The whole experience only took about 5 minutes. These doughnuts are awesome! We only wished the doughnut conveyor belt was working - I guess we'll have to go again.
Quiet and tucked away. No sketch people trying to sell donuts like the Ogden one. Freshly made and don?t really hang out on the shelf either.
I like this place a lot, they have been here for a long time, and I have many memories here. The hot sign is a plus, but unfortunately, they don?t have free donuts anymore. They could at least make it where you buy a donut you can get a glazed free. The donuts are expensive, I like to go here when I have a little extra change. They are good donuts though and the giant windows where you can see the donuts being made are fun for the kids.
I?ve been to this location a few times. The employees and staff have always been so kind and helpful. The store has been clean. And donuts were as expected for a Krispy Kreme.
This place does what many other businesses no longer do. It is probably one of the best businesses by far. The number of times I have gone there is not what we like and they only have a small variety. They have given us free donuts and the workers have been very kind. I want to congratulate the owner who has that excellent mentality. Thank you.
I love Krispy Kreme?s. However, this location is not the place to go if you need any filled doughnuts. The last time I went I didn?t get any cream in my cream-filled doughnuts. I thought it was a fluke, so I decided to get them again. I got lemon curd and some custard filled doughnuts. They?re not even 1/4 filled. And the small amount that is there is only on one side of the doughnut, rather than the middle. I could have just gotten some originals. I think I?ll be going elsewhere for my filled doughnuts.
Laughably, small donuts that taste day old. My kids won't even touch them. $20 for a dozen assorted mini donuts. Makes my hand look giant ????
Don?t order online it doesn?t work. If you go when they open the doors might be locked & no one will come to tell you to use the drive through because it looks blocked at first but apparently they move the signs that say closed there. They were nice & made up for it but still wasted 20 minutes.
My husband and I went in to get our kids a treat and we were appalled by the state of this place. Visible dirt was caked all over the floor, the front doors look like they hadn?t been cleaned in a while, the grease on the windows looking into the conveyor belt was everywhere. Then what topped it off was we watched an employee at the end of the conveyor belt move donuts onto a tray with gloved hands while on the phone then TOUCHED HER PHONE WITH HER GLOVED HAD and went back touching the donuts. We turned ar
I came here with my one year old. Sherri was so kind and sweet to him. She showed him the donuts being made, and was just so interactive and fun with us. I would go back just to see Sherri! It was also delicious and it was very clean in there!
Ordered the valentine special donuts and they were as hard as a rock. You could have knocked a hole in the wall with them. They were the worse donuts I?ve ever had from here.
Ive been getting donut here for a ling time, so ive seen the atmosphere and staff change. Quite a while ago i went in and was creeped out by the inside of the store, as there was cockroaches everywhere, lighting was dim, and the staff were all moody. But as of recently, its done a complete 180. Floors and tables were all clean, no bugs in sight, and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating! We had drove a half an hour to get there and got the barbie assorted dozen, but when we checked the box, there
Wonderful staff and excellent donuts. ?? The staff helped me get the exact donuts I wanted (even when I was me silly picky about it) and had a smile on their face the whole time. They were great and the donuts tasted warm and fresh. 10/10 I'll be going there again.
I?ve stopped here twice in the last month and been really disappointed both times. The first time, I ordered one donut and the gal in the drive thru told me she gave me 2 because they had baked small. I really appreciated the gesture, but they were over fried and had little filling because they were so small. Not good at all. Yesterday we went thru the drive thru to get a dozen glazed and a dozen assorted for my son?s birthday and they messed that up too. Our ?dozen? glazed only had 10. ?? Our dozen assort
If you are looking for any of the holiday themed donuts don?t go to this location. I went during Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and they never had all the options. Kind of sucks for a place dedicate to selling one thing.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are the best tasting doughnut, hands down. They recently got rid of the free taste test, but in the end, it won't matter. They all taste great. I've never not had a super good doughnut here. The neatest part is that they will stay fresh for up to 72 hours if you leave the doughnuts in the box. Absolutely worth the visit!
Great staff, starting with the management! I have seen them take care of minor issues with such class! Of course the hot and fresh doughnuts are unlike anything else out there! They are always having cool promotions, too like their recent lemon glazed original rings...mmmmmm!
Such an awesome donut shop! Excellent hot chocolate here and the donut machine is so cool!!
I didn't notice these donuts until I brought them in to work. I guess the Valentine's day special is half-sized donuts? Maybe they're just trying to watch out for you so your sweetheart doesn't put on too many pounds.
We had a large order placed days in advance and they didn?t have it ready when we got there. The staff tried to make excuses of why it wasn?t ready when we got there, and they didn?t have the flavors we ordered either. Terrible location and service.
Recently I visited Layton Utah Krispy Kreme and I was so sad when I opened the box. They were so small and sad looking leaving ample empty box space. The photos I?ve added to this review are from Kalispell Montana and that?s what I call donuts worth the price and the name. Please try harder Layton Utah.
I cannot tell you how many times I have told myself that This Krispy Kreme has the worst service I?ve ever experienced.. and every time I try to go back and give them one for chance I?m severely disappointed. I asked for a box so my doughnut wouldn?t be smashed, the child who served me assumed me it wouldn?t be smashed in the bag and that they didn?t have a box for my 3 purchased doughnuts. Sadly I will not be returning to this location EVER. The Krispy Kreme in Riverdale Utah is worth the drive, the staff
I love their frozen mocha coffee plus their donuts are always delicious!
Didn?t realize when we ordered the regular size of donuts that we would be getting ?minis?. Very disappointed that Krispy Kreme is ripping people off now.
The donuts were fresh and soft! Krispy kreme always has the best donuts!
This is the second time that I've received extremely old stale donuts! They are so stale that they are rock hard and just crumble. I won't be buying from here again!
Still a great Krispy Kreme location. Great selection. Quick service.
Food was tasty and serve was fast and prompt. I didn't dine in. It is a tad loud in their as they do make the donuts for many businesses and convenient store locations nearby every day. Although there was plenty of places to sit. Inflation is hitting hard. $34 for a box of an assorted dozen. The times of stopping in on the way to work to treat my team to a treat through the day has just gotten more rare. Especially when considering that $34 can get 4 to 5 little Caesars pizzas that would go a lot further
Well first google says they open at 6am. So I drove 30 minutes just for my first Krispy Kreme experience to be the first in the door for the day. No where is there business hours posted anywhere on the building. Second they have no posted signage to let there customers know that from 6am-8am they are drive thru only. When we were standing at the door calling the store no one answered both times I called yet I could see people walking back and forth in front of the door. as well as the trash in front of the
Always super delicious! They were very nice when I came for my birthday donuts and were able to look me up by my phone number. I felt pressure to buy something with them three free donuts but they made it super quick and didn?t make me feel like I had to get more.
First off customer service was good. BUT QUALITY was trash. The donuts were old. Maverick had better donuts. They were even cold.
Superb, hot, fresh donuts ! My granddaughter has us checking for the "HOT LIGHT" located on the front of every Krispy Kreme store signifying fresh cooked donuts that are coming out of the oven right now. But we stop even when the light is not on. Krispy Kreme are the best !
My favorite donut chain place! Always the best service and clean places. Donuts are always so light and fluffy and delicious!
I showed up at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning, and the lobby was closed. I went through the drive-thru after seeing others doing the same. I ordered 6 raspberry-filled glazed donuts, and when I got home they were all lemon-filled. They are not even close to sounding the same. I've tried to call them, but they won't answer their phone.
Their donuts are delicious no matter the location, but today is the second time in a row that they?ve just had their doors locked during business hours. Needless to say, my kids and I were sad both times. And the first time they were closed, I had placed an order for 70 donuts for an event and the order had been confirmed. Just not great management, it seems.
I really wanted donuts with sprinkles and for some reason they didn?t hear me and gave me just regular donuts which I know isn?t that big of a deal but I payed for something that I didn?t receive.
Gone to Krispy Kreme twice during their ?business hours? and high they?ve been closed both times. Anybody know when they really are open? ?????
Why has everything gone so far downhill with Krispy Kreme? They are constantly out of the best donuts. They never have fresh hot donuts. They often have hand written notes on the drive through that says they aren't open right now. What's going on? Are you guys ok? It really feels like you're not ok.
Rachel and Kaylee did an amazing job, they were so awesome and I would highly recommend this place to anyone
Best donut on the planet!! Young men working weren't very friendly
We love to take our children and get free donuts for good grades. The staff is always so friendly and kind when our kids show their grades and make them feel important. Such a great place!
I guess business hours don?t mean anything. Been waiting outside since 0600 and they are still not open. Gave them 30 minutes of grace because I understand things happen, but this is ridiculous. It seems from reading other recent reviews, this is standard practice for this location. I guess I will go to Lee?s in the future instead, since they respect their customers time. Hope your franchise owner enjoys business failure.
I just left the store about 30 minutes ago. Despite being the only customer in the store I waited several minutes for someone to help me even though they saw me walking in. Finally I walked up to the register and an employee was sitting on the counter looking at her phone. Shoes and all. She saw me and then proceeded to box up some donuts without even acknowledging me. There were at least 4-5 other employees there that saw me as well. After I finally received what I needed, I wanted to quickly use the restr
Good quality donuts. Always a fun stop when we go to Utah.
I planned on buying doughnuts on the way to my daughter's birthday party. Showed up in plenty of time during normal business hours to give them time to fulfill our order...THEY WERE CLOSED. No explanation whatsoever just closed, they had a sign saying they would be open again at noon, it was 1 pm when we got there..not open...we had to back track and go to the Riverdale location (got terrible service there but that's a whole other story) and my child was late to her own birthday party. So thanks Krispy K
Kinda odd that they started serving cinnamon rolls "all day long" but for some reason you still arent able to: 1. order them on the app at all, any time of day 2. get them at the store Pathetic that I arrived at 715AM to find out they had literally ZERO cinnamon rolls (somehow??) and that their next batch "wouldn't be done for another hour" How is this the SIXTH time I have visited inquiring about cinnamon rolls EARLY MORNING and yall don't ever have them? Even before you started serving them every day, I
this is my favorite krispy kreme i love it! the workers are so nice <3
The front desk lady was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The bathroom air fresheners are too strong. Can smell clear out by front counter.
Can?t beat fresh hot Krispy Kreme donuts, and this location RULES!
Are you freaking kidding me?! These sour creme cake donuts were tiny! At almost two dollars each they were about a dollar a bite. Never going back there again!
They have good doughnuts, but their hot light hours are extremely unpredictable. What the app shows and what is actually happening at the store is generally not the same. The customer service is not the best and for some reason you always have to ask for napkins, they just do not naturally offer them. They also don't ask if you are a rewards member so you definitely have to ask them to take your number. Sometimes they aren't sure of what sales are going on and I have never seen seasonal doughnuts. Appa
Geez pay your employees more so they can take some pride in their workplace. The donuts were cold dry and stale. And the window to look into the work area so so disgusting, greasy, dusty I almost threw up. I took my daughter so she could look and make it an activity. Sad state of affairs where all employers just care about the margins and not about quality of food or of their location to keep it looking nice.
I don?t think they make the doughnuts on site. Every time I?ve ordered, even early in the morning, they are cold and stale, like they were trucked in from another location. Tasted so bad I threw most of it away. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 8 miles and go to Riverdale Krispy Kreme. They are always open to customers. Layton is drive-through only.
Very upset?.I sent in a DoorDash pickup at 6:50 and was just about to leave my house to go and grab my order? then i get a text saying there store was closed and they couldn?t fulfill my order. Went to double check if they were open and yes they were open. They did not close until 8. I tried to call the store multiple times and no one answered. If you don?t want to except DoorDash orders turn them off. This is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional.
A bit expensive, but the donuts are good and I like there is a drive through
Me and my fianc? received excellent service this morning. The donuts were hot and delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly, even despite the morning rush. A special thanks to the manager at this location for making our visit awesome.
The donuts were delicious. It was my kids first time trying Krispy Kreme and they loved the warm ones. The location was very clean and service was very quick.
Just went to a store and your hot donuts sign was on and your guy got the order wrong and the donuts were not hot. This has happened fro me 3 of the 4 last times I have come into buy donuts. I love your donuts they are wonderful but please don't turn on the sign unless you have hot donuts. The last time this happened I asked for hit donuts they gave me cold ones and then told me they were hot. I just handed them back to him. Very disappointing.
Great quality! Nice a light feeling doughnuts. But they threw away the ugly ones in stead of throwing them on top in my box.
We recently visited Krispy Kreme and had an interesting experience. Due to the lobby being shut down, we had to drive our trailer through the drive-thru, which was a bit inconvenient. They were out of all their signature glazed and donut holes. Moreover, the person who took our order made a mistake and didn't enter it correctly into the system, resulting in us having to reorder when we reached the window. Overall, it was a slightly frustrating visit, but we still enjoyed the donuts.
We couldn't go inside. Only the drive-through was open at 8am. The glazed donuts were as delicious as usual, but the custard filled did not taste fresh.
4 Stars, National Donut Day, must celebrate
Love Krispy kreme, But! This store is terrible. Multiple trips early morning and completing our of glazed. 7am!? Seriously? Just bad luck each time, i guess
It's permanently closed! Even signs have been removed (still see the shadow of where they were) and the building looks empty! Totally disappointed!
Donut Dots were stale at 6am. Seems like they were yesterday's. Store will not pick up the phone spanning from 6am-3:30 pm. Trash cans were full at the front door 6am.
Daughters first time and one of the female employees made her whole day with a free fresh glazed. Thanks so much!
Great donuts but way overpriced.
They were very good with the kids. Very friendly.
Store is poorly run. They are super inconsistent with their hours. They never have a great selection of donuts, they are always out of stock. It?s not Covid anymore, you aren?t ?short staffed? pay your employees good wages and take pride in running a Krispy Kreme. This place was so much better a few years ago. The staff is usually nice
Taste great BUT we typically order donuts when they have seasonal flavors available (valentines, st. patricks day, etc). They never have the fun seasonal donuts though, I end up paying the higher seasonal price for their regular donuts. It's a big disappointment for my kids. We just want fun donuts :(.
Can I set my booth up right outside to karaoke and perform the national anthem? Asking for a lost friend. She might never return
