Best lady locks in the world! Never had anything I didn?t like. Amazing tasting cakes. Icing is so good not overly sweet! They make the cutest cookies. So many different designs especially during the holidays. They also have a coffee bar. Staff is always helpful and friendly never met a grouchy one yet. If you bring cash you even get a small discount.

First time @ Kretchmar?s put in a order for our Christmas party for Fishers Of Men and two days before they opened I contacted a person on their website and they said I can get to go containers but when I got there they told me no. Place seems to have gone down like alot of bakeries. Idk if its the fake sugar or lack or real sugar but all the icings taste off now.. the french buttercream is so light it might as well be whipped. Not what i wanted. Got a sheet cake that was the strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cake together. It wasnt in layers it was like a marble cake but the rasberry snd chocolate just mixed together and dominated the cake and barely any canilla or rasberry to taste..it was practically a chocolate sheet cake.. they

Great pastries. Very pleased with strawberry and almond pastries. Apricot claw was lovely but wish it wasnt solidly iced (I'll get the apricot pastry next time). Carrot cake cupcake was nice. Filling to cannolo was unusual to me. Mini m&m cookie was perfecyly sized. I'll be back, there's so much more to try!!

After being to this place several times, I'm very impressed with the taste, quality, and service. The workers are always extremely helpful, with fast service and answering any questions we may have. The food is absolutely amazing, and I love that there is a coffee bar and a selection of drinks in the cooler as well. This is my first choice for breakfast everytime I come to Beaver!!

One of the best cakes around. I had this exact same cake 14 years ago (yes, in 2009) for my high school graduation party and now just a few weeks ago for my baby shower. update 12/13/2022*** today I as at an event that had the same cake as I bought a few weeks ago. The frosting on this one was on top of its game. I do not know why mine a few weeks ago was a looser icing. Todays was what I have had in the past. ?? The frosting between the layers was a bit better than on my cake?.but still not much between the layers. Ordered a birthday cake one layer white and bottom layer chocolate with cherry nut filling. Not certain why?but the cake was 4 layers!! It wasn?t me

I had cupcakes made for my son and his wife's baby shower. First, I have to say I have a lot of respect for a company with such good ethics. They open at 5 a.m.! And the staff was very friendly and professional. Everyone that tried the cupcakes raved about how amazing they were and kept wanting to go back and have more! Would definitely recommend this bakery.

The baked goods are tremendous. The employees are happy to help you. They answer any questions you may have. During Christmas there is a line out the door but the employees get you through as quickly as possible. The only criticism I have is not the store but the customers. The store space is small so if you are going to get baked goods, please don?t bring your family of five into the store while the rest of us are outside dressing.

Very nice cake and service received. I called in the Morning and asked for same day pickup and with no excuse order accepted, Cake was ready same day with same expectations as thought in my mind. One of the best bakeries in the area. The staff is always accommodating and the baked goods are perfection. As others have said, the burnt almond torte is our favorite item. I highly recommend making the trip out to try a few things or get the tort for a special occasion. Somehow it always seems to magically disappear when we get one!

Best Bakery in Beaver County and possibly the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the exception of the City of Philadelphia. The petits fours are incredibly delicious and worth trying if only once in your lifetime. The large gourmet chocolate chip cookies are wonderful with milk. The dough nuts are delicious as well. I think they also have free coffee as well but I never tried it.

I was shockingly pleased to find out that they do have one vegan option here. It?s a chocolate cupcake and it?s super yummy! I stop in time to time to grab one on walks.

Kelly, was absolutely wonderful and helped guide me from how many we would need, popular items, and even gave suggestions given that the venue is setting up the display. My family and I have ordered delicious baked goods from this wonderful establishment as far back as when it first opened. Each time receiving wonderful and courteous service. The product has the finest pastries, cakes and breads. I have to give 5 stars to this bakery for making an anniversary cake for my kids 25th wedding anniversary. I gave the decorator a picture and she created a beautiful cake just like it. It was chocolate with peanut butter icing between the layers and a ganache top. Moist and delicious with a real punch of peanut butter. Made it worth standing in a line in the rain to pick it up. Great job from the product to the personnel but a special shout out to the decorator!

I ordered a birthday cake and it did not have the correct icing I ordered. So I called and the lady I spoke with was not very nice about it and for a cake over $28 with the wrong icing , and an unhappy customer. She Hung up on me. Wow what happened to-customers come first ? This is the best hands down bakery anywhere. The variety of bakery goods is like no other bakery. I truly suggest if you are near Bever PA. Stop in. I don't like really sweet treats which is way this place is so good. Doesn't taste like all sugar. I would give this place a 10 star rating.

This is an old established business in Beaver. I have been a customer of Kretchmars for about 9 years. And it seems like they have been getting even better since I started going there. I like that Bread Works loaves and rolls are available there. It's such great bread. Other favorites of mine are their torts, scones, and the creme filled donuts. If you haven't been to Kretchmars before it's definitely worth checking out.

I'm not happy with the food I got here today. I got a tres leches cake and it definitely was N O T a tres leches cake. I have no idea what this Caucasian concoction was. The creme brulee just tastes like weird overly sugared maple syrup. I was excited to try the cheesecake bites because how can you go wrong with cheesecake? I've been going to Kretchmar's bakery since I was a child. I remember my mom after taking my sister and I to the pediatricians we would make a stop over at Kretchmar's Bakery. I came in today for some mini sourdough bread bowls for dinner. The place was tiny and cozy, everything you want in a local bakery. The staff asked me what I wanted as soon as I walked through the door, and while I looked around they asked a few more times and I was happy that they were so attentive. When I finally did order though, one of the staff members forgot to give me my mini sourdough bread, the whole reason I came in. I didn't realize until I checked the bags and recipt while still in the bakery.

We discovered Kretchmar's by accident on an impromptu road trip to Beaver from our home near Canton, Ohio about 2 years ago. We have been coming back over and over anytime we get the chance...and we have been bringing our friends and family! The pastries are delightful and quite delicious. I've used Kretchmar's for YEARS, my parents have bought almost every birthday cake there since I was 14. However, my most recent 3 trips have been bad bordering on terrible thus prompting me to finally write a review. My last ordered cake should have had roses, instead it had balloons (not terrible but upsetting) when asked to check to see if they had switched up the cakes by mistake the girl behind the counter gave an attitude as if she was infallible! I also needed candles and asked for a box of blue ones

My primary reason was to pick up some mini loaves of sour dough beard for my kid. I had heard from my neighbor that they have the best in the area. Needless to say, it was not a good experience. Their cakes, breakfast rolls, and cookies are delicious. I live 8 hours away and stock up everytime I am in town, however I flew this time so fingers crossed that the TSA lets me take all of their delicious baked goods with me... Otherwise I will be in a sugar coma tomorrow.

I walked in to buy pastries, in the middle of my purchase some ppl that were gathered outside, randomly, no order or line, busted in and harrassed me for allegedly "cutting" in line where there wasnt one. Very disappointed that multiple staff and customers NOT WEARING MASKS. Store crowded. Why the laxity? Your previous mask policy and limited customers inside set a great example for other merchants and demonstrated your excellent performance. COVID is exploding, get back to safe practices.
