Love love love their donuts! They are always fresh, and amazingly delicious! It is so nice to eat a donut that doesn't feel like eating a sugar cube. My son (and husband) love the fruity pebbles donuts. Mary is super sweet and friendly. Definitely a top notch establishment! I'm so happy to have a local place to get a fresh donut. ??
Stopped in today an hour before close. They were already out of donuts in their case but were quick to offer to make up a dozen for us. Only took a few minutes & they were so good. The cinnamon toast crunch one was one of my favorites ever. I will definitely be back.

First time trying this place since Expresso bakery in Elyria went out of business. The apple fritters were basically raw in the center. So raw that it broke in half when I picked it up. Was raw batter throughout. The glazed donuts were stale and had zero flavor. Was hoping to find a good mom and pop shop to support. Sadly, this isn?t one.
Been coming here since opening & have now came again with the new owners. Still delicious & was still able to order delicious donuts for my daughter?s class for her birthday. (It?s a tradition now since opening - she had to have them for birthday AND a holiday school party the first year). Thanks for allowing me to pick up a preorder for her special day :)
You can't find quality food and service other than a small business. Kountry Dough & Jo take pride in making fresh donuts every day. Not only are they very fun and unique but they are also delicious! I love the jo there also. Fresh and Hot!!!
Excited to become a regular at Kountry Dough and Jo! Today I got the peppermint mocha and samoa doughnut as well as a double shot of straight espresso at their grand opening. I really enjoyed my experience today walking into a warm and friendly atmosphere. I really love the overall design and feel of it! The doughnut was very fresh and flavorful! Got Apple fritters this morning. They were doughy!! THEN I FOUND A HAIR!!! ?????? Worth zero stars!!! I forgot an important detail. I called, the girl said she would tell ?them? I said it?s rather disturbing? she says I will tell them, then finally adds sorry. I think that should have been first? the other donuts we had I would not eat? my husband said were also sub par.
My husband and I LOVE this shop. The doughnuts are delicious and uniquely flavored without being too much. And the apple fritters? Utter perfection. They offer specialty doughnuts from time to time that are also incredible (for example: pineapple fritters on Christmas Day) and their coffee is super tasty. I went for the first time today and will for sure be back! The donuts are delicious! I also got a frapp which was so good as well. The employees were so friendly and easy to chat with while we waited, so excited to have a locally owned donut/coffee shop on this side of town!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kountry Dough and Jo on their opening day and I have to say, it was an experience I will never forget! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The selection of donuts was mouthwatering and I couldn't decide what to order, but I finally settled on a snickerdoodle latte and a sprinkle donut and I have to say, I was blown away by the quality. I got a hot hazelnut Latte that was lukewarm and tasted mostly like warm milk rather than espresso. Can?t speak for the rest of the items here though.

I discovered this business on Instagram a couple weeks ago and I had no idea they were so close to me. I stopped in for the first time a couple days ago to buy donuts for me and my coworkers and they were AMAZING!! Everyone I shared them with could not believe how delicious they were! First time visit and it did not disappoint! Very fresh donuts, great variety, and quite large! Totally hit the spot. Very clean donut shop. Used the restroom and it was very clean and organized too! We will be back. Worth the 20 minute drive.
Wanted to like this place, but the first time I tried it they were sold out of donuts. I ordered a coffee instead which tasted very watered down. Swing through a second time on a weekday morning; hours say they are open 6-2 but I wasted gas as they were closed. Tried again 3 more times with same outcome (either closed or out of donuts).
This is the best donut shop in Lorain County by far.
Very cute little spot! Very nice people. I was very excited to see something new go up around here. Unfortunately, the donuts were very very small and very pricey. If the donuts need to be that small the the price should be lower, or keep the price the same and make them bigger. Crazy toppings aren't the only thing that matter. Doughnuts here are amazing! They are 10 times better that Peace Love and doughnuts and reasonably priced. I actually like them better than Duck doughnuts too. They?re blended drinks are amazing too. I had the flannel pajamas donut which is a blueberry maple and it was amazing! The donuts are like a cake donut but so much more airy than a normal cake donut. So good, definitely a must try!

We tried them today, figured before they go out of business. My husband and I weren't impressed by them. They tasted like the donut was bought from another store and they just added the toppings to them. It didn't even smell like they made anything in there. Not worth the money we spent.

If this place is in business for another eight months I will be shocked. Expresso bakery in Elyria recently opened and they had a line of people a block long. This place has a very small selection and the prices are too high.
Not sure when they're open. Sign and Google both say Monday-Saturday 6:30-3:30. I've driven up here twice before 11:00 a.m. and they were closed. I'd love to support local, but I value my time and don't need to waste it. Oh well, I tried.
