Kountry Donuts

We came by for some donuts while we were in town. Unfortunately, they were not open, and did not update their hours. Although we didn't get to try any donuts, we did think it looked like a cute little shop.

Got charged nearly $60 for a dozen donuts, 2 dozen sausage rolls? Sausage rolls were very undersized for $20 a dozen. Normal sized plastic fork for size reference. Will not be coming back.

Warm, fluffy, aromatic and delicious. I think I've just had the tastiest blueberry donut. Friendly and accommodating staff. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I have no idea why people like this place. They are very polite and friendly but the food is terrible. The sausage rolls were fine. They taste like one you can get from any local donut place around here. The apple fritter is totally disgusting and tastes like old socks. We got 2 mini sausage rolls and 1 apple fritter and it was just over $9.

In our house, this is the best rated donut in town. My husband loves the kolache. We also had an amazing cinnamon roll. We will absolutely return! Everything was eaten by the time I got to take a picture ??

First timer here, stopped here to pick up some doughnuts for company holiday party yesterday. Didn?t go inside used the drive through, nice older woman took my older. Doughnuts were delicious yes but a little on the expensive side for 2 dozen. Overall good service and good doughnuts are tasty.

Just okay. Tried them because of the great reviews. I don't eat doughnuts often, so when I do, it's a treat.i took one bite of the (very small) maple bar doughnut and left the rest uneaten. The oil the doughnuts was fried in was well past its time ... the overused oil was very off-putting. And it's rare to meet a doughnut I don't love, lol. Good donuts and cute little donut shop in the heart of downtown Grapevine. The jalape?o sausage cheese roll is excellent. Plain and chocolate donuts are good too. I wish the apple fritters were good but they are pretty bad... actually they are terrible. Really dry and no apples at all. That's the only reason I didn't give them a 5.

My hubby absolutely loves their apple fritters and kolaches. The owners are best of the best. Nicest and most genuine people Ever! We never mind waiting in line. They allow for call ahead orders to get exactly what you want without fear of being sold out -- and they do sell out!

LOVE their apple fritters. We come from an hour away. I always call ahead of time to check to make sure they have enough. This visit my out of town family even bought enough to fly home with so she could share with others!

Very classic donut shop. Only a few donut options, but they have all the classic flavors. They taste homemade and delicious. Mostly a drive thru place. No sit down options available. No more than 3 people can fit inside. There is no seating. To-go only. Very fair prices for a Main Street location. Small business owner. Will be back!

I thought everything about this place was mediocre with the exception of the price. I got 6 of the small sausage rolls, 3 donuts and 3 apple fritters. As the lady pointed out, 6 sweet, 6 savory. $32 I thought that was exceptionally high for just no frills donuts

Our first visit today was very disappointing. It's a convenient location and Customer service was friendly. The donuts looked good BUT there was a very off putting taste - as if the donuts were stale and/or fried in very old grease. Yuck. I could not eat them - they were that bad.. One cream filled donut was laughable with such a tiny spot of cream inside a big puffed up donut. Went to shop at 9:30 am on a weekday. Ordered 3 glazed donuts to which we were told she had no donuts. She said you can get donut holes. We said okay after asking if there were other options. Nope. Got a dozen donut holes and ONE ham, egg, cheese croissant. It was $10.92! Donut holes not fresh! Not going back. On top of all that, the lady was not nice! You lost a customer!

There is nothing generic about this donut store. They have the most unique, tasty, fluffy, cake like donuts I've ever found any where. You can find a generic strip mall donut every and any where. A donut is usually a lame donut. Kountry Donuts are really unique. You've got to go early because us locals in Grapevine know, Kountry Donuts sell out QUICK! And they are worth it! So it's been awhile since my son and I have stopped by, we used to stop 3x's a week on the way to school, but since he graduated, we just don't. Well today I was beyond disappointed. I got my regular, eclair & strawberry iced glaze, my son got his sausage rolls and dozen donut holes with two large chocolate milks. This darling little donut shop was such a gem to find on our recent road trip to the Dallas area. Not only are the donuts absolutely fresh and delicious, but the donut shop owner is such a kind woman. She made our family feel so welcomed at her shop and was such a delight. I wish Kountry Donuts continued success! If you have the opportunity to visit and support this business, you won't be disappointed. Super yummy donuts and super kind people. First time here in Grapevine and I ran across this little donut shop. Mostly for drive thru customers but you could still park and walk in to order. I got a wonderful cinnamon roll that was very fresh! It was BIG but I had no problem eating it all by myself! All their donuts looked very fresh and the lady at the counter was very kind! It is right across the street from the Bank of the West.

Worth the calories!!! It is very hard to make a decision on where to spend the calories-kolaches to apple fritters to glaze donuts to cake donuts. My family likes all of them. I prefer the cake donuts, probably because it has more calories, and taste of sheer ridiculous deliciousness. I have to stop myself from shoving the whole thing in my mouth. This local donuts shop is great place to pick up some treats. I believe it's a couple who work at this place and own it as well. I normally visit during the weekend and each time I do, there is always a long line of people waiting to buy. The donuts are always fresh and their kolaches are great to. Unfortunately, their coffee could be better but you can always buy that from main street cafe. It's a great way to support local business in Grapevine.

Fantastic donuts. Everything is made in house. They pumped fresh cream in whatever donuts you wanted and added sprinkles on other ones. Great customer service. We spoke with the owner for a few minutes and they are a great family run business. A must stop in the grapevine area

Love love love Kountry Donuts. The owner treats us like family she remembers my husband son and I. She always remembers what we order she is ALWAYS so kind. No matter how long the line or how busy she is, and they are always busy and the line is always long bc they have the BEST donuts she will talk to you and never make you feel rushed or like a bother. Best apple fritters and donuts ever!!! We live in Virginia but Kountry Donuts is a must stop each time we visit family in TX. Apple fritters are thin, crispy and HUGE. Donuts are perfectly cooked and HUGE. The staff is pleasant and delightful. My only negative is I wish they were in Virginia.

As other reviewers have said, it can be a little to taste, but I love Kountry Doughnuts! The selection is fantastic, fresh made everyday - lovely staff as well. Well recommended if you want to try donuts that aren't from a chain.

Best donuts I've ever tasted. I love to dip donuts in coffee and these work the best! Very seldom that I find myself waiting a short time for service, but it's understood for this small size of a shop compared to the massive amount of customers they handle with individual care (great customer service).

Big, soft, not too sweet, drive thru, and the taste is better than any other place within 15 miles! Best thing they have is the cinnamon rolls, big and has the perfect balance. Everything is huge and fresh. They dont need to do all the new fancy word donuts. This is just a good?ol shop. One thing they could work on is a strong coffee, but thats just me I need coffee extra strong. You really need to try this place!

Best donuts around. Made fresh all day, every day. A lot of the bad reviews I read aren't very fair. The owner works the counter and drive-thru, usually by herself, and they are very busy. Be patient, it's worth the wait!

Stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and my picky children and their friends wanted nothing to do with anything at the resort...it was cold and pouring of course ??????? So I ran out and found this jem. The donuts were still warm and the woman at the counter was soooo helpful and amazingly sweet. She made sure even the napkins and drinks were safe from the rain. If you blink you?ll miss it but it?s right before Sonic. I wish we lived closer...my waistline does NOT ??

I was hoping this place would be good but every donut we had tasted a day old at least. These were NOT fresh donuts. It's a real shame because given a decent donut at least. This place is in a prime location to be a hot spot. Go somewhere else until they get there stuff back together

Kountry Donuts has been my favorite for years. I've noticed in the last year that they have been working with the design, I suppose to use less dough. Come on now. How much dough are you saving when you make the donut larger and the hole so large that the donut breaks when you pick it up. Don't let greed put you out of business. I'd rather see you go up on the price and give us the quality that we are used to.

Usually I wouldn't review something unless it's truly deserved, but I'm just shocked at how overpriced these donuts were. I purchased 3 kolaches and an orange juice for around $8.00.. You can find a smaller mom and pop donut shop that'll give you a whole box of donuts for that price!

Donuts are good, not the service early at 5ish. I ordered 3 boxes of assorted donuts and the lady gave me a whole box of chocolate plus more chocolate donuts on the other boxes with rarely some variety with only one blueberry donut! :(

Horrible experience at this place. Pulled up behind one car and was waiting for my turn at the window. Car pulled away so I pulled up. 3 other cars entered the parking lot and proceeded to go to the window on the other side of the building. No attention was given to me and I was placed "last" in line. Safe to say I left and spent my money elsewhere. Learn how to treat your customers!

What a dilemma I have: excellent donuts and the RUDEST woman ever! Let me do this in story format: I try to make people smile by saying things that are obviously goofy. For example, I may order a large Coke and a small Diet Coke at the drive-thru, and then they give them to me, I ask, "Now, which one is the Coke?" Or, "I forgot my credit cards, do you take cash?" This is little house with a few folks that make some of the best Kolacies around. The donuts are great too. The lines can get a bit long on a Friday morning but that's because more people are hearing about it.

They don't take cash. Only electronic payments. Horribly rude unfriendly workers. No signs about not accepting cash anywhere outside of drive thru. Doughnuts used to be good and we're thick and hot. Now they are thin and crappy.
