Best Doughnut Value in Jacksonville Illinois. Went in at 6AM, Kim was behind the counter, and a customer had just called. I explored the cases of tasty treats, looking for a maple covered John with bacon ?? sprinkled on top. Unfortunately she didn't have it, that's OK, she had many more to choose from so I did. I picked a huge cinnamon roll covered in maple, a John covered in maple, another two with chocolate and filled with whip cream icing. She rang it up, $6.44, I said excuse me I think you only rang u
Shout-out to the owner of Kim's Other Place for his generosity and amazingly delicious donuts!!!!! We ate at his other establishment, Kim's Place and he was kind enough to donate 2 dozen donuts to our college track team. He 1000000% made our day!!!! It was an assortment of donuts and when I tell you THESE are donuts, I mean these were the biggest, fluffiest, and best tasting donuts we've ever had....hands down! Used to love this place as it WAS a Jacksonville staple. Since being under new ownership, this place has gone down hill. Went in this morning to get donuts and a muffin. Muffin was stale, donuts were hard and not the melt in your mouth they used to be. Won?t be back, this is what happpens when you try to buy local. Huge disappointment.

I was in on Saturday morning around 10:00am to buy donuts. It was strange, one door was locked, and the other door was open. The "open" sign was still on. I walked in, and no other patron or staff was around. All the donuts that were left were on some sort of shelving system. All the boxes were priced, and they were half open. I started yelling "Hello", but no one answered. I kept my money, and I walked out. Very odd....
I watn to wait for other people to come to me when I come here. I have soemthing to thank you for this silky cake. Hence, physical therapy arise. I think forty cases, five cases. Pleease make sure to take out cats in enough places. I end review with quote: ?Now I wonder: where did this perfume come from!!?
I was passing through Jacksonville for a few days. Came across this place that's suppose to be the best donuts. I bought some to have for the road and I was so disappointed. They were not good donuts at all. They were hard, and these were freshly made supposedly. I do not recommend it. Dunkin donuts is probably better, and I don't even like Dunkin.
Recently had a wedding a few weeks ago. We pick SafeCo Donuts for our wedding donuts. So many people enjoyed them and they were by far the best! They also let us use their beautiful cake stand and donut wall, which was a big hit with everyone! The owner was hands down amazing! I would definitely recommend SafeCo Donuts for future weddings!
I contacted Saif for a big order of donuts. I had to pick them up first thing in the morning to hit the road. When I got to the store at 6 AM it was open and my order was waiting on me to be picked up. I can?t thank Safeco bakery enough for their fast, friendly, positive and ability to handle my order. I will definitely be doing business again!!
Delicious, fast, friendly. I've bought donuts from safe co multiple times and never have I been disappointed. The owner was extremely friendly as well as the staff. If you're looking for a great breakfast or just a mid-day snack, look no further!

Great muffins. You must go in early in the morning before 10am to get the best choices. After 10am they have a small selection of donuts usually. They serve iced and hot lattes, with many flavors to choose from. Great for families and to catch up with friends.
Place has a friendly environment. The moment you walk in to the place you are greeted with a smile. I usually go on breakfast dates with the kid or spouse. I could say it's worth going to eat at so far. Coffee is great, hot and fresh. I am picky with my coffee.
This growing locally-owned business employs locals and prepares fresh pastries made from fresh ingredients every day. What's not to like? They have all our favorites plus they put their own spin on things - check out their "Snail" a Danish/ donut combo that is almost impossible to resist. They also offer great lunch combos with soup and sandwich or Calzone. Great breakfast every day and Monday - Saturday lunch stop on Morton in Jacksonville.
This place is awesome! I checked our the reviews as I'd be staying in Jacksonville overnight and love going to new food places. The owner was very kind and was patient with me taking forever deciding. I'm embarrassed to say I ate WAY TOO MUCH, but no regrets and will be back when I'm in the area. Thank you ??
As always donuts are fabulous, bit to me how I am treated when I walk in the door is the most important... customer service is second to none at SafeCo! Owner is usually on site and leads by example!
Efficient....this place was packed, but they had one heck of a routine moving right along.... impressive The donuts.... all I can say is I'm glad I don't live in that town because my inner fat kid would be coming out daily.... they were just fantastic!!!!!! Price yep you'll pay a little more, but it's sooo worth it......
Donuts did not seem fresh. Had little taste.
Even though they didn't have the donuts I wanted they were still really good! But it was after morning routine on Saturday morning so I can't complain for them not having so many donuts
Awesome old fashioned glazed and apple fritters. Baker was super sweet and very friendly. This is a must have if ever in town.

One word. ADDICTIVE.......... I love their donuts and pastries. Reminds me of the bakery that I went to in Italy. The staff are always friendly.
Their donuts are far better than Dunkin Donuts. Although the raspberryfillee ones could use more raspberry in them.
