Jolly Farmer Convenience Store

Jolly Farmer Convenience Store

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the bakery's donuts and baked goods as excellent, with many calling them the best around. The craft beer selection also receives positive feedback. However, customer service experiences are mixed—some staff are friendly and helpful, while others are consistently described as rude, particularly during can/bottle redemption. Several reviews mention abrupt or unpleasant interactions with specific employees, impacting overall satisfaction. While many customers love the food and return despite service issues, others refuse to return due to poor treatment. The quality of baked goods and beer often outweighs service complaints for happy patrons.

Customer Reviews

I just wanted to post an updated review, due to the others one being very ?poor?. Having a sweet tooth I decided to give Jolly Farmer Bakery a try despite the reviews?let?s just say I am glad I DID! I decided to go with the raspberry white chocolate scone and the cheese danish! The scone is absolutely delish, and the cheese danish has the perfect sweet with a cinnamon undertone! I will be back! I came on a Monday in the evening between 5-6 pm and the customer service was amazing!

I was ordering donuts for event, Jolly Farmer was recommended to me. The donuts were delicious! And times that I called, people were friendly, and called me back in timely fashion. Kyle was my contact person, he was helpful, and patient ( while manning a busy convenience store) answered my questions. I would highly recommend them!

Don't go to the can and bottle redemption. They have many rules to sorting and have a 10 box limit and are very rude and condescending. If you plan to go here are the rules so you know ahead of time. 1- must separate water bottles from other plastic bottles 3- must put plastic water bottles in bigger boxes 4- 10 box limit 5- separate plastic and aluminum 6- plastics of different sizes must go in different boxes 7- cans of different sizes must go in different boxes 8- boxes must contain only 24 cans or bottl

Been going here for a really long time, with family and or with myself (especially supporting local.) Today when I went in I just wanted some of their bakery items (Cookies and such.) When asked what I wanted I said I wanted two of the peanut butter and two chocolate brownies and the response I got back was "well which ones the chocolate or peanut butter." And I said it a second time, also with the intention to buy more. I kept looking and the lady immediately went to the cash out and didn't ask if I wante

Jolly Farmer donuts don't disappoint! We stopped and grabbed a couple for daddy's birthday!

They have the absolute BEST donuts in town!

Do not take your recycle cans and bottles for your Redemption here, they act like it's the biggest inconvenience for you to bring back your cans and bottles here. There was really no Direction I guess everybody that ever recycles here they think already knows what the procedure is apparently they do not understand that not everybody has gone here to recycle before, it's a big inconvenience thank goodness I only had three bags.

A garbage store with some garbage staff that sell you garbage and flavorless pastries. Alerted the cashier that they were selling flat sodas in Nov 2022. Alerted a different cashier that they were still doing it in Jan 2023. Mid March 2023 and still the same flat soda in the coolers being sold to unsuspecting customers. How hard is it to get the distributor to replace them and pull them off the shelves? Depending on who's working you'll either be treated warmly or like your a nuisance as you walk in the doo

The older woman who is a cashier, Lori, is ALWAYS rude every time i go in. Ive been going here since i was a child, and not once has she ever been kind, or at the very least respectful. Today I went in to grab an ice cream, my hands were full so i was struggling to grab a spoon from the cooler. She VERY rudely told my boyfriend ?why don?t you not stand there with the door open?. It was open for less than 30 seconds. Everyone complains about her I don?t know why she isn?t fired. If you are going to be that r

If i could give it no stars i would. Dark haired older lady is always rude to me when i go there wish you guys would fire her, went to return my cans this time and it was 6:09 pm was told in a rude manner by that same woman that i only could return 10 cases worth of cans even though it wasnt 7:00 pm yet because there was only 2 people working the register. The store was pretty much dead (it had 2 customers thats it)

One time 3 years ago they made fun of me for getting a small cotton candy ice cream. :( Good ice cream otherwise

BEST Donuts I ever ate! So fresh and soft and amazing smell.

I was at jolly farmers with my brother and I simply asked for 10$ out of a 20 and mumbled something under her breath and stomped to the cashier and rapidly graped 2 10 dollar bills and said "here" and I said "thank you" and she didn't say anything and I want to buy some stuff and I want to cash out we ask her for M&M cookie and she was rude about that she stomped over and grab the cookie throwing it in the back and she had no gloves or tissue paper on her hands to grab the cookie and she said " here" again

I called for an unusual request for a gift basket I am making. I got great help over the phone with the exact item found and I was provided a description, price, and quantity on hand. Great job! Thank you

Great selection of craft beers both locally and from around the region and beyond. Kyle is knowledgeable and always willing to help with picking something out.

Very unfriendly place. Some of the workers there are nice but most of them act like you're a nuisance. I would not recommend this place to any customer.

Most of the staff is very friendly. Good donuts & lots of stuff to look at.

Great coffee and donuts. Amazing beer selection. A must stop while in town.
