Jelly Donut

Jelly Donut is the best. Can't get enough of the wonderful fillings they offer and super fun toppings. This trip we got 2 dozen donuts for the last day of school and there were a big hit as always. Come for the prices and come back again and again for the neighborhood vibe and friendliness of the staff. One pro tip- carry cash or come before 2 to Venmo the owner. No electronic payments in the afternoon when the older generation of the family takes the shift.

Okay, here?s the qualification to my review, I like traditional doughnuts. The fancy $7 a pop doughnuts, trying to be something else just irritate me. That said, Jelly Donut is my new favorite doughnut place in all of California. Primo?s down in LA? excellent. Bob?s in SF is excellent, except when it isn?t. And yes, I?ve tried so, so, so many doughnut places across North America. But Jelly Donut is my new fav. Why? Jelly Donut doughnuts are crunchy on the outside, soft, flavorful, and light on the inside. T

What a lovely donut shop in the heart of the mission and what made it more special was the delightful woman Terry helping me. I was so indecisive and she was patient and kind!

Really good donuts for cheap! I got like 3 donuts, a coffee, and a water bottle for $8. The woman at the front even gave us some free donuts :) The texture of the donuts is great. They?re nice and soft and fluffy. Not too sweet either! They have a good selection too. Would totally come back to this place again.

Delicious traditional donuts at a super reasonable price and the staff are very fun and generous too! The cake donuts with strawberry and blueberry icing, the apple fritters, and the jelly-filled donuts all have real fruit flavors. Always fresh and never disappointed with a donut here. Every time I go they give me some extras for free. Highly recommended!!!

We stopped in for a sugar pick me up and we're glad we stopped here! Delicious with a beautiful texture. Slightly crunchy on the outside with a soft fluffy inside, and the perfect size too for someone like me who usually can't eat a whole donut by herself. The lady at the counter was nice and I couldn't believe how cheap it was! I'll be back the next time I'm in the area!

Classic donuts or inventive donuts? This place has both! Jelly Donut also has fresh donuts everyday - I've never had a stale donut from here before. All at the lowest prices I've seen in the city. They do sell out though, so don't dilly dally. The blueberry donuts and old fashioned are my faves here.

This place has delicious donuts and the staff is super friendly. We mentioned a type of donut we liked that we didn?t order but when we looked in our bag they had given that kind to us and some extra donuts and donut holes for us and our kids. So nice!

Great way to start your morning in the mission with some delicious donuts. It is cash only and they do accept Venmo. The staff here is super friendly and are as sweet as their donuts. I really enjoyed the sugar donut I got and the few donut holes that were thrown in.

This place had all the vibes of the perfect donut shop, from the delicious donuts to the lovely atmosphere. Stopped by on break to grab an apple fritter, which was excellent, and the jelly filled options are also excellent. The shop owners were kind and inviting, and I highly recommend everyone stop by to try out their selection. (note: they are cash only, but there is an ATM on site)

While staying in the Mission for two weeks, we visited The Jelly Donut twice and had great experiences. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, the donuts were classically tasty (just what we were looking for!), and the prices were very reasonable. We've already recommended it to friends, and we'll for sure return if we're ever in the area again!

Fresh baked donuts and the sweetest staff. Cash only but there?s an ATM in the store. My favorite is their maple old fashioned and my roommate loves their chocolate sprinkles. Will be coming back! Staff always has a smile on their face, feels really welcoming.

The lady is very nice. I bought only one glazed donut in Saturday morning, and when I was home I realized she packed two donuts! She made joke about the donut was only for my baby (because I was obviously pregnant) and I needed another one for myself. Never knew she really put another one for me! She made my day!

Down to earth, no frill donut place. I got three dozens and the shop staffs give extra more for free. The donut quality is decent. I myself ate the old-fashioned strawberry coated donut. It has crispy and crunchy feel on it, which is quite a good texture! The strawberry flavor is quite present, unlike many other donuts from other places that has simply color without taste. If you need cheap and tasty donuts for crowd, this is definitely the place for you.

Amazing donuts for little money. We found Jelly Donut by accident and are so happy about it. We had two different donuts which were both awesome and the woman was really really nice. She even gave us many extra mini-donuts (an awesome surprise, we didn't even realize she put them in there before we were outside). You should go there!

Very reasonable and they sometimes throw in an extra free one late in the day. I recommend the old fashioned plain or glazed. I've also tried the French cruller which wasn't bad either. In terms of quality, they're not the best donuts I've ever had, but for the price they're a great value.

Stumbled upon this place while searching for a donut shop in the area. Originally had Dynamo Donuts in mind but missed it on the map so this was a true blessing in disguise. Love their stuff as well as the great service. The value is almost unheard of in the city. This place is now on the top of my donut list. Thank you and can?t wait to be back soon!
