Very good donuts but they open later on Sundays, which was surprising. Love the customization of the donuts and the uniqueness. Nice employees as well
We popped in here at about 10:30 and the options were pretty limited already! Everything we ordered was the last of each. We ordered the cr?me br?l?e, the Reese?s peanut butter, a strawberry glazed, a classic old fashioned, a strawberry cream cheese, a cinnamon coffee cake, and a few mini custard filled croissant donuts. The staff were very helpful and friendly in making suggestions. Some of the flavors really wowed us- especially the mini croissants and cinnamon coffee cake- and others fell a little short
Their Valentine's donuts have just come out and the red velvet and heart croissant donuts are top-notched ??. Love them!!!
These are probably the best donuts in DFW! I got the creme brulee, a small custard filled, and strawberry glazed croissant donut. All were extremely fresh and flavorful! The owner working the shop was quite pleasant as well. Unfortunately I inhaled the donuts and didn't take a photo.
I was having a hard time finding a donut shop that could make letters for my daughter's birthday and my friend recommended Jarams. I was so excited when I was able to place the order online and schedule pickup for first thing in the morning. I got there on a Monday morning only to find out that I had placed the order for the following day. It was 8am and my daughter's birthday party was at 11am so I couldn't wait until the next day for the donuts. These people were amazing - they called the bakers back to t
So after trying the cronut in New York I was obsessed, when I got back home I checked to see if I could find cronuts un dallas and I came across this place. I ordered 3 cronuts (Nutella and strawberries, raspberry jelly and lemon jelly) and a funnel cake donut (Nutella and strawberries). They were not like the one I had before but they were still very good! I will def be back for more.
The first time I came here I honestly wasn?t a fan. It?s been about 2 years. I don?t know what?s changed but the strawberry cream cheese donut is one of the best donuts I?ve tried in ages. Only reason it?s not a 5 is because the specialty donuts are kinda pricey and I wasn?t too impressed with the plain glaze, my normal go to. The strawberry cream was fresh, light, and prefect. The little custard thing was great. Will be back soon.
This was a great find! We tried the Strawberry Nutella Cronut, Creme Brulee & Strawberry Cream Cheese Donut. Great presentation & taste. Will be back in the future.
It's not artificial sweetness, it's natural sweetness. I like it because it's not too sweet. Fruit-like ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Thank you so much for giving me a new pleasure. I will definitely try all the donuts here.
Favorite donut ever!!! Maple bacon cronut is AMAZING!!! The bacon has caramelized sugar on top. The berry with cream was almost its equal. We visited multiple highly rated doughnut shops during our 3 day adventures in Dallas. This place was the best by a lot. Don't let the outside of this run down shopping strip keep you away. It's clean inside. The classic music they were playing in the background was a little strange, but did not deter us in the least. The counter help was super friendly.
Consistently good & I?ve loved everything that I have tried from here (donut holes, buttermilk cake donut with cinnamon, chocolate glazed cake donuts, & jalape?o kolachies). I usually stop later in the day, but this morning I went around 8:30 & there was a line. It?s so good that the guy behind me was disappointed when the person ahead of me took the last of his favorite specialty croissant donuts. Edit: They?re still the best several years later!
We arrived at 11, 4 hours after they opened. Understandably, the stock didn't have all the donuts we were interested in, but what they had (it's a little pricier for the more specialized donuts) tasted very good. The staff was very nice and even offered to warm up our kolaches for us! The classical music background was very cool as well.
So happy I found this place on Instagram! Every time I?m close any morning I?m here. Definitely a place to come try when you have that donut craving and if you?re going to have one why one of the best! ??
Amazing donuts! We love both locations. They just opened one up in Lakewood. They do seasonal donuts and they also have catering. Follow them on IG to see their seasonal donuts and cronuts! I highly recommend them for private events such as bridal showers, weddings, baby showers etc. Best donuts in the city and the owner are so sweet and amazing people. Support this family owned donut shop! My sister came to visit from Houston and I brought her here for Easter donuts and my all time favorite the creme bru
Wow! I?ve been wanting to get my hands on cronuts for a long time and they didn?t disappoint. I tasted the cream cheese and strawberry and raspberry topped cronut donuts; it had the best texture and taste I?ve ever tried in a donut! Also, with toppings they were incredible not too sweet not to tart and definitely didn?t taste artificial. I seriously cannot wait to go back and try new flavors. I also got the cinnamon roll and the maple bacon donut and they were meh. My new go to donut place! The cinnamon rol
Their Croissant Donuts are my favorite here and they make a decent Apple Fritter????
From the outside it looks like one of many donut shops in the DFW. Only once you get to the counter, you see their specialties: special donuts and cronuts. Today's selection included donuts with berries and donuts with strawberries and cream cheese (it was wonderful!). Among their different cronuts, they also had a s'mores one.
Very good donuts and croissant-style donuts. A little pricy but definitely worth it for an occasional treat. Very helpful staff, and you can call ahead to ask them to save you the ones you want. They also have online ordering. I had the maple bacon croissant-style donuts and it was delicious.
Best donuts in Dallas!!! Never got disappointed at this location. Service: Polite, warm welcoming, and friendly. If you like Nutella, must try ?nutella filling in a croissant?, and cr?me br?l?e donut. 100% recommended.
Very nice bakery ! Order from them and went to them. I was at the wrong location, but they went ahead and do my order. Lady was very nice. Delicious Hanukah donuts
Love Jarams! Their croissant donuts are worth the extra money. I love all the flavor combinations they have. Ive tried several of their flavors and haven't found anything that didn't taste excellent.
This place is so solid. I haven?t had donuts this good since I lived around the corner from Voodoo Doughnut on Greenville Ave. I will absolutely be a return customer. Jaram?s is on their A-Game.
My absolute favorite donut shop! The donuts are delicious with so many different and unique flavors. They really take pride in the quality of the ingredients as well as the artistry of their donuts. Around holidays or special events, you'll find the donuts decorated with themes such as Star Wars or Valentine's. My favorite are the peanut butter and jelly croissant donuts and strawberry Nutella croissant donuts. You are missing out if you haven't tried Jarams!
Jarams Donuts is the best donut shop I've ever been too. They have amazing artisan donuts, examples Ferrero Rocha Donut, Reese's Donuts, Creme Brulee,. Nutella & Strawberry and many others! I highly recommend going here and checking it out. You can also ask for cream filling in almost any donut. You'll never go to another Donut Shop!
Great little hole in the wall donut shop. Favorites are the croissant and funnel cake ones. Also, they have frosted donut holes, which are fun (the pink one has great flavor). Service is excellent. They were willing/able to make one of the ones on display that had chocolate without it while I was there for me. It is a little pricier than some other places, but worth it. We'll definitely return.
The most yummy selection. Pricier than other donut shops but you can taste the difference! Cronuts are out of this world. Employees are kind.
I just visited Jarams for the first time, and I absolutely fell in love with the presentation of their donuts before I even tasted it. I got the Nutella strawberry funnel donut and it melted in mouth with every bite. I loved it so much, I stopped again the next day to try our the cream cheese strawberry donut and I loved that one too.
Cronuts are good most of the time. Apple fritter was dissapointing this time around. Tasted like old oil and was soggy. Find it odd Jarams doesn't provide prices for each donut online or inside the store. Some customer don't want to ask for the price each time. Be upfront with your customers. Customers are in for a not so sweet surprise when they hear their total at the register after picking out a bunch of unpriced & overpriced donuts. Why not post prices inside the store & online to make it clear for cu
Maybe I just received a bad batch, but it was my first time ordering, and the Halloween donuts didn't taste fresh despite picking them up 2 hours after opening. The presentation was a bit messy. Unfortunately, the quality of donuts didn't match its price for me.
So much to say about this place. The word CROISSANT alone is enough for me. I've never heard of a croissant donut until I was presented with one of these delicious donuts. My favorite is the croissant donut topped with strawberries and cream cheese.
Love this place and their creative donuts selection for kids. We come here every week. I even ordered a ?Happy Birthday? donut spread for my wife. They literally spelled out Happy Birthday with donuts?it was fantastic.
Very unimpressed. The donuts we had just didn?t taste good.
I ordered letter donuts online a few days in advance, and when I picked them up the order was not right. I told them this, and they said it would take about 10 minutes to fix. It ended up taking 30 minutes, and this was the result. The icing was sloppy, some of the donuts were broken, and overall they just looked like a mess. The employee working gave me 2 extra donuts as an apology, but I still don?t feel like I got what I paid for.
Always fresh and friendly service. Pretty busy weekend mornings (understandable) but if you have time give them a try
The best artisan donut shops in Dallas. Amazing selection, friendly staff, and very tasty donuts!
Absolute best donuts in DFW! There are MANY donut places to choose from anywhere you go in Texas, but Jarams is one shop worth going out of your way to get to over any others. That is not to say there are not other good donut shops. I could pin point at least 2 others that are also top of the list but I think what makes Jarams #1 is the quality of everything they offer. While Jarams has some specialty items, you are not going to find some unheard of combination of flavors and toppings here like you might at
I do find the products to be unique though some donuts look bigger than the other and they are rather small. $3 for 1 donut. I wouldn't come back cause the customer service made me feel awkward and weird.
A small but very well-organized place. From the outside, it deceptively looks like one of your regular donut shops. On the inside, it is a whole new experience. And so popular that you're almost always guaranteed to find a line of customers.
I pass this several times a day. Must say loved the take on doughnuts...very good. They are pretty enough to be thank you gifts .
Happened to have tried this place out for national donut day. Their prices are so inexpensive for what it is!!! Go try all their cronuts!!!!
Very yummy! My advice is to go in person to pick out your favorites!!
I recommend the creme br?l?e, Ferrer Roche, and Nutella croissant donut! Everything here is great!
Jarams donuts is my favorite donut shop in the area. They have delicious and fun specialty donuts, but they also don't neglect their basics. Their kolaches are great and my son loved picking out his red and blue sprinkle donut!
Omgg?Jarams cronuts are amazing! I decided to give a try after so many friends recommended them. They did not disappoint! I love their cute designs on the donuts and they even cater at weddings too!
Popped in for National Donut Day to pick up a dozen for the office. The staff was friendly, fast, and the donuts are amazing!!
First time here and this place definitely made me rethink all donut experiences in my life before today. Wow. Amazing!
Very good donuts. The Banana and Cream Cheese flavors are a must try. Apple Fritter was also very decent. The prices were slightly higher, but if you don't mind the price, the donuts are worth it.
Excellent donuts and nice workers. They have this amazing addictive sausage cheese patty. Their cronuts are heavenly... sometimes too sweet, I take off the top and bottom layer of the glazed cronut to make it perfect. Their strawberry cream cheese donut is amazing too. Only negative is that their plain glaze donut is not as good as some others like hypnotic or Vail donuts... everything else is so good and nice service that it's a 5 star place.
staff so cute and friendly, the donuts are so good, I recommend the creme brulee, that?s my fav one
Amazing donuts! They have a huge assortment and everything looked so delicious. Even the donut holes tasted better than most others!
Great donuts.. Little expensive but you get what you pay for!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The donuts are very creative and delicious with cute holiday themes, designs, and extra decorations. I would definitely recommend this place, especially the cronuts. ??
It cutesy, it?s unique, it?s got cach? ?.. but it?s awful. Shelves stripped bare by 11am. A/C barely registering. It?s far too hot in there. What was left in the display case was being devoured by fruit flies. The main store near the Arboretum may be better, but this one is terrible. I don?t know why they even opened another one; and at this innocuous location. A failed expansion.
They have terrible customer service, there website is archaic and doesn?t work properly for online ordering, I ordered happy birthday donuts ahead of time and they have no record of it. Then they told me they ran out of sprinkle donuts. What kind of donut shop runs out of sprinkle donuts on a Sunday morning? Poor planning on their part - they need better customer service and better organization. Used to be my go to donut shop - no longer
We love the donuts here. They're very creative and delicious. It's also extra that the staffs are very nice. We drive from Arlington to here to get donuts so that's how good it is.
One of the best, if not the best donut shops in Dallas. Incredibly delicious specialty donuts, often themed to the season. The donuts with fruit on top are incredibly tasty, I believe they have a cream cheese frosting. Kolaches and sausage rolls are solid, but you come here for the donuts. Always busy, but always a quick in and out. If in the area, and you want donuts, this is the place.
The donuts really just didn't taste good, and they were certainly overpriced for the flavor. On top of that, the kolaches didn't seem to be cooked all the way, as the middle of the bread was doughy. I will never go back, even my daughter didn't like them. If you want good fancy donuts, go to Hypnotic Donuts or The Whole Thing. If you want good regular donuts, go to almost any other donut shop.
I moved from Western MA where they have the greatest cake donuts ever--the apple cider donut. I have been driving all around the Richardson/Plano area trying to find the best cake donut. Its easy to make a fancy raised donut with lots of candy. Its hard to make a good simple sugared cake donut. Jaram's cake donuts are the best I've tasted outside of MA. The new croissant-donuts are pretty good too.
Always great,Artisan donuts. Your girlfriend will love you. Creme Brule donut is fire as he'll but very rich might not be for everyone. They have crossoint sausage rolls, and crossoint donuts as well as a variety of donuts you've never seen before. They also seem to MAYBE do custom work. PS they are looking for a decorator right now and this would be a fantastic time for 2 small businesses to work with each other. Or even just a hobbyist could inquire what exactly they are looking for. Take care of these
Hands down best donuts and pigs in a blanket. The glazed donuts are always fresh, soft and not overly sweet. But if you want to try the specialty the funnel cakes are the best. If you put fresh strawberries and nutella on a flaky pastry I'm sold. Another specialty my husband loves is the creme brulee. I liked both the regular and the croissant piggies but preferred the croissant. Also they have a hot pocket like pastry filled with ham, cheese and jalapeno that you should definitely try. They are usually bus
Such a great hole in the wall donut shop. Has so many delicious options of donuts and oth delicious items. Personally love their wrapped sausage and raspberry stuffed donut holes. Go try them, you won't regret it
Jaram's donuts is a fantastic spot. Great specialty donuts and solid basics like glazed donuts and kolaches. A little bit pricey but the donuts are well done so it's worth it. If you JUST want glazed, I'd probably go somewhere else, because their glazed are solid but not top tier. But if you want anything else it's worth going here.
Great donuts and tasty kolaches. Def a bit pricy on the "fancy" donuts, but to be fair, it's one of the only donut shops in the area that has specialty donuts, so that's their prerogative. They're also open a bit later (close at 1pm) so when you're lazy like me and realize you have a craving for kolaches at 12:30 on a Saturday, you're not gonna be SOL. Try the berries and cream cheese donut and the croissant kolaches- pretty good!
Very good and unique donuts.
First time there, donuts were good but really could not find any regular donuts, they only had the fancy ones out. Plus those fancy donuts are way too expensive. 2 of the funnel cake donuts a kolache and 4 donut holes was almost 14.00 bucks. May not be back there again.
Don?t waste your money. Typical donut shop with outrageous prices. I got one 8oz RedBull and one chocolate donut for $9.19. Writing the word ?gourmet? before cheap products does not make them special.
The staff is so friendly! And courteous! While the interior is certainly small, it is nothing if not cozy. Full of bright colors on the walls and various appliances. And everything is so clean! A very tidy utilization of space and cleverness. Lastly, the donuts are brightly displayed and beautifully crafted.
I?m ashamed of Jaram?s. Their donuts are great, but they have marked up their jelly filled donuts for ?this time of year? (being Hanukkah and we eat jelly filled donuts for the holiday) to $4 per donut!! What a disgraceful business practice.
The kids wanted donuts after seeing pickle donuts online. Not that anyone wanted that... but it put them in the mood for donuts so I searched for some out of the box donuts without the hype. I?ll confess, I didn?t eat any but the flavors were different and the kids said they were the best they?ve ever had!
This place has great donuts. Many are works of art. They have newer items like croissant donuts as well as every type of traditional item. They have a few types kolaches and many child oriented decorated donuts. Cinnamon roll is one of the best I have had.
We love this unique doughnut shop! It is our favorite go-to for delicious doughnuts and kolaches. The owners are kind and offer a variety of artisanal sweet creations that are even tastier than they are beautiful to look at. The Nutella & Strawberry Croissant is beyond delicious! They also offer more traditional doughnuts, but the specialty doughnuts are so fun to try.
When I first tried their glaze, I told my dad instantly "Buy me more". I like donut, but not a heavy eater. My 7 yrs old brother and I finished a dozen. Little pricy, but they got something good taste other shops' donuts don't have. Try one and compare. Thanks.
Best donuts in far North Dallas. They are famous for Cronuts, donuts made with croissant dough. They puff up really tall then get iced. My favorite is dipped in maple icing, then bacon pieces. They never lots of cartoon rings and sprinkles to make the kids happy. Pricier than most donut places, but worth the occasional splurge.
Freshly made donuts and sweets. My company provides breakfast from here frequently on Fridays and I?ve met had a kolache from Jarams that I didn?t like. If the stream of people coming in and out doesn?t make you curious, then take my advice and try it.
Great donut shop with very creative offerings! The cronuts (especially the strawberry Nutella) are awesome! Definitely not your typical donut shop, and it's certainly worth checking out.
Super sweet staff and the cronuts are delicious, you can also order the cronuts ahead the day before ??
This place makes an autumn spice FUNNEL CAKE DONUT year round and it is amazing. They have a selection of other specialty donuts as well. I?ve yet to dislike any of them!!
Jarams Donuts is bankrupting me! These cream cheese donuts are my cruel addiction. Every bite steals another dollar from my wallet, and I can?t resist their sinister allure. I?m trapped in a sugary nightmare, drowning in debt, and they don?t care. Beware the donut abyss!
I will say they look better than they taste. A lot of flare but that's it. I've had the original cronuts and they are amazing. This doesn't compare or come close. I will say the cream brule filling was good I just wished there was more. I also wished the fruit were dressed because they were out of season so they weren't sweet. But please understand this is my opinion. They make a good Instagram photo but I'm more about taste than show
Donuts are fine but waaaay too pricey! If that wasnt good enough, they thave increased prices just last week! It cost around $2 just for a bag of donut holes! They deal in more pastry donuts. Some good and some just ok. I spent $18 for just 3 donuts last time! I could have gone to a French bakery for specialty pastries in that price. Never going back again, for sure!!!
My Grandma's sister came to visit America from Korea, she went to Dallas, Texas for a vacation and tried Jarams Donuts. She said it was great and saved some for us. I tried and it was delicious. There was many different flavors and fitted my appetite. I am usually picky and get tired of sweet flavors but as I tried other flavors I really enjoyed it. I even gave some to my friends and they said it was good. Overall, it was really good and my rate is 5/5.
There was no label for each flavor, so I had to ask the staff for details.
Oh I do live this place for their "cronuts" croissant donuts! They are bomb! They have so many options and flavors, they have regular and specialty donuts as well which are great also but when the cronuts are fresh OMG! They are a bit on the pricey side but I have not seen anywhere else to get any to compare. I always get the "croissant" holes which are more like little logs, I get plain glazed and the filled ones which Nutella is my fav!
I liked it and would recommend you come by at least once. The negative is the price and the line when it's busy. Weekend 9-10AM seems the busy time.
Visited this place to try the cronuts. Saw a ad somewhere advertising them or a commercial, so I did a google search to find what I was looking for. Very nice variety of options. Cronuts are way more sweet than donuts. Wish they had a mini version. Will have to return for some of the breakfast items. The kolache items I tried were just ok.
You haven't lived until you've had a Jarams croissant donut. Flaky and delicious and HUGE. Well worth the price. Staff is very friendly and the place is so cute inside. Looks like a regular mom and pop shop but it's definitely more than meets the eye.
Absolutely the best place for breakfast donuts!!
Best creative and fancy donut place I have ever been to. Every time I want to do a special breakfast for a group Jarams is my go to!
