I?ve been coming to this donut shop since 1992. The donut holes were heavenly back then. I do believe they?ve changed ownership since then and a little has changed in regard to quality. The donuts are still delicious, the service is friendly especially once you get to know the personalities of each staff member. This is the go to spot for picking up donuts for staff in the morning. It is always a great time at Jacks! They are super friendly and helpful. Patient when my wife and I are indecisive, and always have something to recommend when we are looking for something new. I have been frequenting this place for many years and wish I had known about it sooner. The quality is always top notch. I recommend trying the frosted jelly filled doughnut holes, they are my favorite guilty pleasure ??

One of the best donut shops in Sacramento. Great selection of raised, old fashioned, cake, buttermilk, crueller and specialty donuts. They also have fresh croissants daily. Good ham and cheese and plain croissants, they make breakfast sandwiches. Usually a line early in the morning but worth the few minutes wait. Part of our weekly routine to get chocolate bars, apple bear claws, strawberry croissants, bacon maple bars for the crew.

The donuts were soooo good! The lady was super sweet and kind. The donuts was also very fluffy and yummy. It?s kind of in the middle of no where but totally worth a visit.

I was craving a glazed donut and and a BEC croissant and might I say I?m glad I stopped here! The service was amazing and the sweet lady in the front was so nice and the food came out super quick & it was good! This might be my lil go to spot!

Just an awesome Mom and Pop donut shop. High quality donuts. If you want a serious treat, try their croissant sandwiches for breakfast. The number 7 is seriously hearty with bacon, sausage, egg and cheese. They serve high quality Peerless coffee, too! Whenever I'm on this side of town, I have to stop!!

Half a dozen is now $8.28. A normal ham egg and cheese croissant is now $6.99. Seems like a steep price for a local shop. Don?t rely on the prices you see displayed, they are outdated.

I?ve come here countless times over the years and no other donut shop compares. They had a change in ownership a couple years ago but still great.

The guy had huge, normal sized cinnamon rolls and apple fritters on display, but when he retrieved the chosen donuts, they were half the size of the ones on display. False advertisements, Jack.

My first time here and I must say that I am extremely impressed by a few things I observed. Seeing all the beautiful donuts gave me the feeling that whoever works here love their job and put their heart and soul into the donuts. Although, I only purchased an old fashioned glazed and a regular maple donut they were really really good. ?? I'm appalled at the price increase! I stopped in for a small, glazed raised, a bearclaw, and a fancy chocolate filled. The total was $9.30 !! The glazed raised was $1.50, so the other 2 were $7.80? That's at least $3.50 each for the other 2!? Since when does a glazed bearclaw cost over $3.50??? Needless to say, if I want a donut in the future, at these prices, I'll be going to a bakery instead. $9.30 for 3 regular donuts is totally Outrageous.

The best classic donut shop in the area! They are always open at 4am, very polite, and so delicious! Try their new breakfast sandwiches.

Employees/staff were nice and helpful to customers and each other. I only got original donuts this round but they were good. Not too sweet but at the same time not bland. Donuts were moist and not dry. They were busy but worked efficiently to get the line moving. Fresh donuts were coming in as donuts were being sold. I'll definitely come back

Under New Management in the last few years, very welcoming and humble family running this donut shop. Amazing donuts they put their heart and soul into. They create their own styles of sandwich and donuts also. Like the shark donut or the donut with bacon on top. Very very yummy. I suggest if you are looking for a good donut place try this one first. Great coffee really good donuts, they have all traditional donuts also nothing to much or to less. Family owned. Have been going there for the past 4 years, recently it changed owner but they kept all the same recipes. Donuts taste amazing. A great spot to take the time for coffee early 8n the mornings.

My sister has been taking my little ladies here for years! I recently stopped by for a breakfast sandwich and a ice blended caramel mocha,it was superb!! Their donuts are always fresh and delicious, they constantly create new additions to their menu. I highly recommend this place :)

Nice, kinda pricey...great donuts tho! They don't accept EBT, which is puzzling because to do so would bring them more sales...but yeah the donuts are delicious! The kids that run the joint are a delight! (Ain't no photos because my donuts don't last long enough to have their picture taken ????)

Decent taste, nothing extravagant. As usual with donut joints, better ask by the dozen prices and buy by the dozen otherwise u pay same for 7 than if u wouldve bought 12.

Best Breakfast sandwiches in Sacramento. I typically stick to #4 on a crossaint... Sausage, egg and cheese. The donuts are the best if you get them before 10am because they can sell out quick. This is my go-to spot for donuts in Sacramento

Very friendly and the donuts are made well. Very light and airy, not like bread like some of the other donut shops. It tastes like a donut should. Also they open at 4am. For the trades and early risers, this is a good place. Cash and credit.

I was so sad when my favorite donut shop had closed recently but then I stepped inside Jack's! The lady running the store was telling me about the donuts and flavor options. I was a bit overwhelmed since it was my 1st time in and saw a great assortment. I bielve she is the daughter and her mom works with her. They were super helpful and awesome. Thankyou so much for the help! I went with the donut holes and got a mixed variety since they do have 3 kinds. Glazed, raspberry powdered and a sugar cinnamon.

Love this place! Wish I had found them sooner. It's family owned and they had so many different delicious kinds! Blueberry fritter, cinnamon twists and maple bacon!! Customer service was so awesome. They even carried my donuts out while I juggled my baby!

Went for the first time today and the donut and Turkey breakfast sandwich on a croissant were tasty!!! Love that this also is women-owned by a mom and her daughter :)

Jack's is awesome! Donuts are fabulous and there's a big selection to choose from. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. Much needed boost during the early mornings when I have to help out downtown.

This place serves great coffee and just made donuts. They have maple, raspberry, creamfilled, chocolate, sprinkled, curlers, glazed. This place has it all. Great place to read a morning newspaper or work on your latest term paper. I reserve it for days off. The staff is amazing. I always get a good deal.

They open at 4am and the donuts are freshly baked/ deepfried and sugared/ glazed/ maple bars, jelly field and chocolate dipped and last whipedcream filled. Plus they are very friendly and fun people work there...

We are new to the area and this lovely spot was recommended to me by a gentleman at a gas station. It is relatively close to my home and the donuts were delicious!! The kids keep telling me to go back for more!

Another hole in the wall I love to visit. Ran by a small family of 3 people they offer a sell out selection of awesome doughnuts and premium pastries. Everytime I go in im greeted by two beautiful smiling faces that light up the moment they realize it's me . Makes a big positive impact on my day

I was really looking forward to donuts the day i went ....?????. Who ever decorated literally like 30 yrs ago didn't put any effort or thought into anything .. saying it looked thrown together would be giving it to much credit ....THEN i noticed a donut with CHRISTMAS sprinkles on it .
