Jack's Donuts of Greenwood

First time here. Displays were full, so I decided to choose 4 different donuts to try them. I was very disappointed; all the donuts were stale, and not a single one was fresh. Sad about this experience, but I will never come back. Definitely PANA has the best donuts in the city.

I chose Jack's as a special treat for our staff on Friday morning, purposefully choosing not to go to either grocery for donuts on either side of Jack's. I arrive at 6:15 a.m. and spent $50 on 2.5 dozen donuts. As I drove to work, I ate one of them and was surprised that it tasted like a day-old donut. It definitely was not fresh at all. Came here with my 2 little nieces too get donuts and we came a little late but they were very happy to serve us and my nieces loved them. In the end they gave us half off and were super awesome:)

Love this location.. they always have a wide and full selection of a variety of unique donuts. I will always shop and recommend them!

Quick service, clean restaurant, and TONS of donut choices. We got a maple bacon, chocolate yeast knot, peanut butter and jelly, iced caramel, chocolate stick with nuts, and strawberry jelly with white icing. They were all so good and the staff was kind!

I stopped by because I was in the area. The donuts are good. A bit on the sweeter side with no savory options. I ordered the yeast holes and a latte. I wish the donuts could have been warm. The lady who took my order wasn?t the nicest but maybe they were busy.

Decided to try this place for the first time since moving to Greenwood a year ago. I ordered the cream cheese iced blueberry filled donut and my boyfriend ordered a classic apple fritter. The donuts were TO DIE FOR!! In my opinion, the cream cheese one alone gives Long's Donuts AND Rise N Roll a run for their money. Nice local donut shop on the south side. Gave our son a free donut for his birthday, turned on cartoons, and they always have a fresh selection of seasonal flavors. Recommend to anyone looking to elevate their experience.

This place is it! It needs to be your destination for donuts! Really nice, clean place with a variety of donuts choices (even in evening), drinks and coffees!

Stopped my regular donut shop- Jack's in Greenwood to pick up my Veterans Day free donut and coffee. Normally I always get a dozen cause I can never make up my mind because I know they are all good. Thank you Jack's For recognizing veterans today.

AMAZING! We had a very kind service assistant who was very social and helpful. She helped with special request orders and was very friendly. The donuts we ate were delicious and very fresh. The employee was very outgoing and friendly. The job was done quick and easy and I was personally surprised with such a good attitude 15 minutes from closing time. Loved this! ????

I was lost outside Indianapolis?very lost?on my way to meet my daughter and little grandson in the city. GPS had failed me when I stopped at this Jack?s Donuts. They were wonderful to this grandmother, handing me coffee and a donut, telling me to take my time (it was closing time), going over the route and sending me off, now breathing again, with a big box of absolutely delicious donuts for my family! These are wonderful people that have wonderful donuts!

We loved the donuts !!! We reached at closing but they were so nice and the donuts were so fresh !!!

So many choices!! Oreo and raspberry jelly delicious. I was going to try the peanut nutter one but my sister ate them both!!!

Now I understand why the owner gives the donuts away. They are awful. Not sure why they are different. Is there a new baker? The lobby was pretty full like 7 of us and we were not charged for our donuts. They were giving them away. I can say that I guess for free I shouldn't complain.

We were there Sunday about 1130 and while our service was great and friendly we could hear someone in the back using a lot of profanity loud enough that instead of staying to eat we decided to take the kids to the park. You could tell the two other ladies up front were visibly embarrassed by it. the young lady at the register apologized profusely and was very polite but still, it was very unprofessional for whoever was in the back to do that in a place with children.

I just want to say my family and I love this place! Not only is it delicious but the service is phenomenal! Always a joy to see the nice people & get good donuts in the process!

A great batch of donuts, they have a great variety and keep it stocked as best as possible. Love the blueberry jelly filled. Little girl was with her dad and she said hi to me and showed me her boo boo so I gave her a dollar to buy her own donut to make the boo boo feel better. She acted like I gave her a million bucks. It's the only Jack's I've been to that don't have smoothies they have the equipment but won't make them

We were there around 1015 in the morning. A lot of the typical donuts my family likes they didn't have (like blueberry cake or Boston cream). The donut holes were a bit dry. I was looking forward to the tiger tail, as they are the only ones that do it correctly, and they also didn't have that.

This Jack's location is close to our house, so going there is convenient. But, dealing with the elderly, disgruntled woman who insists on wearing a mask and gets mad when you tell her that she's mumbling and you can't understand her is the straw that broke the camel's back. When I reminded her that the pandemic was four years ago, she really came unglued and made an unprofessional spectacle of herself. I stopped at about 8:00 on a Friday morning, there was a small line starting to form but the workers were so efficient! They were quickly filling orders; even though the display case appeared to be out of certain donuts, there was a constant stream of trays being brought out to replenish the assortment. The donuts were a big hit at school and the teachers and students loved them. Definitely will be returning! The donuts were HUGE and delicious.

Everything we tried from this donut shop was very heavy, dense, and had a stale taste. The glaze on all of it was very sweet, but the underlying donut was just bad!

Love this place. The staff is always so friendly no matter what! We went in this morning for my daughter?s birthday. They had run out of donuts with sprinkles. My daughter was pretty sad about it. The nice lady with the green hair was so kind and took some donuts to the back to be made with frosting and sprinkles just for her. She brought it out to us and gave us a candle as well to help celebrate her bday while we ate in. WONDERFUL experience!

What an absolutely great place. 5 stars for sure! I happened upon Ralph and one of his employees Chelsea and they were both just so friendly and helpful. I tried a wide selection of their donuts for myself and my guys that work for me and it was smiles all around Will definitely return again to buy donuts for my employees. Cheers

We visited later in the day so there was not much to choose from which I understand because these donuts are great. The very friendly lady that waited on us was awesome and patient. If you have one of these donuts you would never go back to Krispy kremes.

Until further notice?. Maybe you should update your hours if you are closed on Monday?s. That way your customers waste gas and time by driving out of their way. Mmmkay?

I mean all you have to say is yum! One of my go-to donut shops. They always have a great variety of all your donut and pastry favorites. Reasonable prices. Definitely beats going to any "national chain" donut shops. The location in greenwood is set back off of 135 so not visible from the street. It is located behind 5/3 bank. It has a parking lot in front and easy to get to. Don't miss it! Recommend trying if you haven't been!

Staff was friendly. Bought yeast glazed donuts and they where ok, more bread thick-like instead of soft in my opinion, the outer part of the donut was soft but the middle was not. I did not try there filled ones though so maybe those are better.

Great donuts, but prices are a bit high! $13 for a dozen! Update: A worker told us that they wouldn't serve us without a mask on and the way it was said was very rude! I will not eat here again due to their unkind workers, they are mask crazy there!

The donuts are always amazing, and great different options all the time! One employee went out of her way today to open the door for me while I was pushing a newborn in a stroller and holding my 2 year old's hand. After ordering she also carried our plates to the table to give us a hand, so sweet!

Originally enjoyed Jack's when I lived on the north side. So happy they opened shop down in Greenwood! I frequent the donut shop with my husband and daughter usually in the evening and the service has always been phenomenal. Excellent addition to Greenwood area :-D

It has become our new Sunday morning routine to visit Jack's before church. They are so efficient. No matter how many people are in line they always get us in and out quickly! The donuts are delicious and they have such a wide variety that there is something for everyone! We are big fans!

I understand this is a new location however I would expect to be able to get some of the better donuts here instead of just the cake and yeast a a couple of iced. I have never seen any of the larger donuts like the peanut butter or cinnamon. I have always come early between 530am 6:30am because this location tends to close anywhere from 1-3pm. I just feel you should carry the variety of donuts the rest do. Hopefully you get the baking staff you need to be able to provide product and be open the hours you sh

First time in. They weren't busy but the lady working there was sweet and attentive. Prices were reasonable for what we got, and she even gave us a couple of donuts free to try. The few different items we had were awesome. We will definitely be back!

I managed to get a few donuts here that were delicious on two occasions but I have walked out empty handed with two small children four times now because of no selection. Its hard telling a child that a donut store has no donuts left. I do not arrive early, normally 10ish on a Saturday or Sunday morning and the shelves are essentially empty. If you are willing to arrive early, its probably worth it but do not expect them to have much left at any other peak time.

Ok this place has amazing donuts and wonderful customer service. We were greeted by a sweet woman and she made our breakfast even better. She even gave us plates and napkins so we could eat in and not just carry out. Great decor and comfortable seating. I love it.

Great donuts, but most of them are larded up with way too much mediocre frosting that tastes like it comes straight from a can! Great donuts deserve delicate home-made fondant glazes rather than blobs of cheap frosting.

Jack's has the best and most friendly staff, and their donuts are always fresh and amazing, but half the time we go, there aren't any left or there's like one kind made. They've been open for several months, so I would think this would be rectified by now. But hey, at least it shows you they're that good ;)

Very delicious donuts of all flavors, types, etc. Jack's donuts in Greenwood off of 135 has always been very clean and provided very fast service with great quality donuts/pastries for very reasonable prices. If I was looking for another donut place in town, I don't think I would be able to find one. I strongly suggest Jack's donuts over any donut store in Greenwood.

Love coming here and bringing doughnuts home to kids. The only complaint I have is today my dog jumped on me when I got home and one of my coffees spilled everywhere in my kitchen. If their doughnuts did not smell so good, I am sure my dog would have behaved.

Just plain bad donuts. Sorry to be so negative, but I want to be honest with other potential customers. I had Jack?s once years ago and thought they were bad. After all this time I thought I should give them one more shot. Unfortunately, it wasn?t a fluke experience the first time.

We have always loved coming here. We stopped by today... mothers day and ..yes we got there around 8:45am. When we asked if this was all they had (low volume) we were told "we have been open since 6:30am. You should have come earlier" yes we know... when we saw a rack in the back... we asked.. do you have different kinds back there. She said again. With a smirk... We loved the 2 winderful ladues sarah and hallie. They were amazing sweet and very down to earth. The 2 of them gave us a great laugh and such an amazing time.

They consistantly have the best donuts i've ever had, its pretty busy in the mornings with good reason! Its really fast to check out though, gives you enough time to look at their large selection and everything is very reasonably priced. The parking lot is large so theres never a lack of room and they open really early which is great for nightshifters like me.

My favorite donut shop in the Greenwood area if not all Indianapolis. They generally have a very wide selection of donuts that are baked fresh daily. Pricing is very competitive and almost all of the donuts are the same exact price, unlike other donut shops which charge a premium for a lot of their pastries.

It?s become a part time tradition for us to visit Jack?s after church. The donut variety is great and the staff is very friendly and warm. The coffee is always fresh and hot as well.

Very disappointed. Was so looking forward to some quality donuts based on the reviews. The selection was surprisingly limited even in the morning at 9:30am, and was lacking some classic Staples (e.g. old fashioned, maple bar, etc.). Finally landed on the peanut butter iced donut, which was sub par to say the least, the donut itself was dry and flavorless. Maybe their other stuff is better, but was seriously unimpressed.

Super disappointed in the quality of the donuts here. We got there without a crowd but one gathered. Seen some donuts online, specifically the tiger tail and tiger bun and neither were available. Don't know if this was from not arriving when they first opened or if they don't carry the same donuts at all locations. Staff seemed that they were annoyed at our indecisiveness. Overall, I don't know if I would return.

There's a young lady there ( I don't know her name but she has blue hair ) who's customer service is amazing! She talks to kids like they are family and even helps people to their cars when thier order. She's quick and accurate.

This place brings my boys so much happiness and sugar! This is what they want when they get a reward for grades or good behavior. Not to mention the fun and friendly staff. Nice to have them in the neighborhood! Give them a try!

Get the delicious doughnuts while they last! You have to go early b/c they often run out. They either need to forecast better or hire more staff. Not a problem until people like us switch to the Jacks on Southport as our first option.

Updated: This morning I thought I would try again, because like I said I love Jack's doughnuts. When I got there, there was hardly anybody there and they still were out of everything. From the tiger tails, to the oreo's or the chocolate iced with the white fluff. I asked for four different kinds and was told they was out. I tried Jack's Dounuts for the first time last week...My granddaughter and I each got one of the carmel cream filled. I have to say... "We're addicted". lol We had to go back again today for another one. Give them a try if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed, I promise!! #newfavoritebakery

Unfortunate that after years of coming to Jacks in Greenwood, Fishers, and Carmel, that I won't be coming back over a single dollar. I ordered Jacks on DoorDash this morning. The receipt being $12.45 for 7 donuts and an iced coffee. I received a call from Jacks saying that "Sorry, our iced coffee is actually $4.45 and not the $3.10 it charged you on DoorDash. You'll have to call DoorDash and get your money back but I can't give you something that's a whole dollar cheaper than what it should be" Me being me,

Really loved the flavor and softness. Well definitely come back, but much earlier the next time. It has a place to set and drink their coffee or tea. Pleasant atmosphere people nice.

Jack's in Greenfield is much better. Doughnuts are overglazed and there is a lack of variety. Cinnamon and sugar was more cinnamon than sugar. (Probably wasn't done while the doughnut was warm.) Coffee was good and the store was nice with lots of seating. Signage in the case was lacking. Hopefully they can work out the kinks and turn things around.

Everyone raves about Jack's... they were good but not great in my book. Staff was really good though.

We get donuts here regularly! The price is fair and the choices are endless. My husband loves their coffee as well.

Donuts were pretty good some could have baked a little longer, but it was ok being that it was only one worker by herself felt so bad for her. Why would they only have one person working in the morning during rush hour. Other then that i would go back

Donuts are always good and very fresh. They use a little too much icing for my taste so I usually stick to the sugar glazed.
