Jack's Donuts of Greenfield

When my bag w/ only 3 donuts inside was heavy, it immediately set off red flags. The donuts were heavy - not fluffy & light, but dry, the frosting & filling tasted very cheap & artificial. I threw what's pictured out (halves). Definitely wouldn't recommend or return.

Visited 8/1/21 Employee was super friendly, don?t think he was happy about me snapping photos. Who would be. They have a sign hanging on wall it reads; ?takes months to find a customer but seconds to lose one? I think with one employee and low traffic they?d keep the tables clean and floors swept. This isn?t the case, tables were dirty. I ordered a latte and it was luke-warm at best. Didn?t have large selection of donuts to choose from but it is 1130a on a Sunday they may have sold out. Absolutely horrible service. Someone ordered 12 dozen donut holes and the cashier just gave them every last one and never even counted them. Filled two boxes. That?s great. Let?s give every last donut hole without counting them. Nope, don?t think that maybe the people behind them want some too for their kids? This place sucks.

Jack's is the bomb! The wife and I are in town for a couple of days visiting family. We HAD to make a run to Jack's this morning for donuts! We got a mixed dozen and I got some Bavarian Cream donuts, because unlike DD in New Albany, they know the difference between Bavarian Cream and Boston Creme.

I got 3 donuts from Jack's and I am not disappointed. The strawberry cheesecake donut is delicious and would recommend it to all. I honestly don't remember the names of the other 2 but they were delicious. Service was great and the prices were pretty good too for the quality and taste.

Their donuts are 2$ now, making a dozen 24$!!! That?s pretty insane. Not sure why the price increase. They always did so well with 1.10 or 1.25. Shame.

This is a nice place to relax, drink coffee and eat donuts. The donuts are made fresh every morning and are delicious. They also serve a variety of different espresso drinks, and the owner is very friendly.

Great tasting donuts with a good selection. Nice looking store inside with seating and free wi-fi. Several coffee choices although I didn?t order coffee. My only complaint would be that I think they?re a bit pricey for donuts.

Great place overall. I had an extra 25 minutes of downtime so I stopped on by. You cant miss the amazing presentation of doughnuts seen from outside the store. They looked even better up close!! I decided to sit and dine and there was a nice movie playing for my leisure. Loved it. Will definitely come back again!

The donuts are good here and they have several varieties. Store is very clean but lacks the ambiance that would make you want to sit down with some friends to discuss life over a donut and coffee. The only problem I?ve experienced (twice) is the less than friendly employees. Maybe I?m just used to southern Indiana ways, but a hello or good morning and a smile would be nice.

My review is about the new price. Stopped in Greenfield location today and the cost has gone up to $2.00?for regular or $3.00 for specialties. Was going to buy 2 dozen but refuse to pay $22.00 a dozen ($44.00 for 2). Sorry but not sorry, I just bought my last donut and I only bought 2. Pricing yourself out of business there with those prices!

If I could give zero stars I would, but sadly there?s no option for that. I never see the same employee in there twice (wonder why), store is always dirty to some degree, and manager is RUDE as ever. Better off just going to New Castle. If you want to keep employees, do your job and properly train them!!! Absolutely ridiculous

Great tasting donuts. Was not looking for Jack's on our way to Chicago but was pleasantly surprised when we stopped. Will be back. Great customer service as well.

Good donuts when they have donuts in stock, but that rarely ever seems to be the case. I'm not sure why they advertise as being open until 12 when they seem to run out of donuts before 9am most days. If you are running out of donuts that quickly, you should be making more ro start with. I love their donuts when they have them, but it's hardly worth checking given how they always seem to be out of them.

The store is a little dark. They are always busy on the weekends, but do a great job of working through the line quickly. Donuts are always fresh. There have even been a few times I have gotten donuts that are still warm!! My favorites include: plain pumpkin cake, tiger tail, white and chocolate rings.

The donuts always seem to be fresh, good quality with a great variety to choose from. The variety is definitely better than The Sweet Shop, but it does cost more. The employees are decently welcoming and nice. Never had their coffee so I can not give an opinion on that. Overall worth the extra cost.

What is GOING on with this location?!? Donut quality has gone down,customer service almost non existing (hours on door do NOT match on line) Closed when only other shop in greenfield (donut) closed...duh,GET A CLUE!! 1st,start treating your employees better,maybe they will STAY( Lost really good employee last week)BE OPEN WHEN YOUR ONLY OTHER COMPTITION is CLOSED(DUH) And increase quality or lower price!

My favorite local haunt. This Jack's location has the best, large, evenly-filled donuts, a friendly and quick staff, and a coffee station that is easy-to-use and open to customers. Exceptionally clean and well-stocked. Decent seating, a large TV that isn't loud, and a great place to enjoy a small morning snack!

Placed a large order in advance. Same day called and changed my pick up time to 2 hours later. They said that was fine. Morning of I get a call, they had planned it for the original time. Didn?t make new coffee, it was lukewarm by the time it got to where it was going. Also I ordered 2 boxes regular donuts and 2 boxes of the gourmet. Got 4 boxes of gourmet. Extremely expensive for the quality of the order I received. Won?t be back.

We LOVE Jack's Donuts. Drive 30 minutes out of my way to buy some only to find a note on the door stating new hours. The location on Google shows their hours until 6p. Sign on door says closes at 1p. I came at 3p. Is it possible to update the Google info?

My boston creme donut was delicious. Their coffee is really good. We had a Girl Scouts parent meeting there. They were SO friendly & appreciate them accommodating us toward the end of their day!

We placed an order of several dozen asking for a Christmas Assortment. Call ahead for large orders! We could not be more pleased! A huge hit! Colorful and delicious! This will be a Christmas tradition from now on! Beautiful job Jack?s!!! Thank you so much!

Go early or your favorite donut may be gone! We have liked every variety of donut that we have tried; tiger tails are a must every time.

He sold me two multi color sprinkled honey buns and put in a BIG box!! It was awesome!! There were only five of us and it was a hoot!!! Honey buns were delicious!! Jacks Donuts are great they are a heavy yeast donut with lots of flavor and taste,they are located in the shopping mall just across from McDonald?s. I drive from the eastside of Indianapolis once a month for a box of doughnuts. The women are always friendly and have a excellent selection. Never a bad experience.

I have bought doughnuts for work many times here. They always have great doughnuts and super friendly service! I would highly recommend them! Sorry, no pics... the doughnuts didn't last long enough!

Just came from Jack's had a donut and a cup of coffee. The coffee was luke warm. Paid 4$ which included a tip. When I told the young lady that my coffee was luke warm and would appreciate getting my money back she said no she couldn't do that. She offered no apology for warm coffee. I asked if she could microwave it,, she said no that there was no microwave. So in essence I paid 4$ for a donut and poor service!

The lady behind the counter was so drugged out, she gave the wrong change out to 2 customers before me and put the wrong donuts in my box after I just pointed to and said what I wanted. She was drugged up bad!

Um, NO clue how this rating happened but I've changed it. I rated a boatload of places today but Jack's wasn't one of them... Or so I thought. Surely to goodness you know what I think of Jack's! Our whole family's probably gained weight from the amount of donuts we've eaten. ??

Showed up on a Sunday around noon, worker walked up to lock door, no open light on. Hrs showed open 7 days a week ..I'd update that. Very disappointing

Well I only made a quick stop so I can't speak on more than selection and service, and bother were excellent. I always get a laugh when little shops like this give you better AND faster service that the big drive through so I had a chuckle on my way out. I recommend this be your choice for morning stops.

What's up! You can't trust your posted hours that you will be open. Here it is Friday at noon and you closed. Your hours Stat 2pm. Why don't you just close the store. Then I won't be disappointed anymore. Last 4 times passing thru Greenfield, you were closed.

If you're in Hancock county & have a sweet tooth, then you need to head to Greenfield. Sitting just off of IN-9 in a strip mall is Jack's Donuts. Ken is there in his bow tie, with a cheery smile & humorous attitude ready to educate you on what delicious donuts they have to offer. Stopped in at Jack's Donuts and bought 1 & 1/2 dozen donuts and they are as good as they look if not even better. Wish I was staying out here longer, but I will definitely have something to look forward to on my next trip out this way.

These donuts look so good but as soon as you bite into one it tastes of dirty grease :/ please deep clean your fryers. They didn?t always taste like that?

Been all over the country and for me the best around. Been a fan since 1976 on midnight shift working the street as a police officer for New Castle police department. Jack is a great guy.

They guy that was working in there this morning was very rude and hateful towards me and my mom. Bad business overall they doughnuts were not fresh at all!

Later in the evening it was not busy; but i feel as though it would be important to have some stock for sale at 8pm if u close at 9pm. There was basically nothing for me to buy so I turned around and left. I was disappointed.

My kids love these donuts we don't get them very much because it is a 40 mintue drive one way but I love going to make my kids happy.

Amazing black coffe that is perfect for dunking your donuts in. The donuts themselves are really good, just make sure you get there early so you get a good selection.

Staff was rude and the coffee wasn?t worth drinking. I?d recommend one of the other local donut shops or even the gas station over this store.

My wife has cinnamon allergies we walked in asked the clerk if a donut has cinnamon in it the clerk said No went home my wife took a bite into the donut and it was filled with apples and cinnamon ?? she couldn't breathe and her throat swelled up , called to make a complaint the owner called me back a week later and he made it seem like it was my fault his clerk and donuts weren't labeled with ingredients told him I'm going to file a complaint with the Health department and he told me to go ahead , no conce
