The counter lady is nice but the quality just isn't there. Every kolache is burnt, the sausage patty sandwiches are a day old at best, only jumbo jalapeno rolls, and the donuts are pretty dry. Please step up the quality.
I?m a little surprised about the high rating. The donuts were mediocre at best. Kolaches were ok. Service was subpar (lady in front was a bit rude). I think I?ll pass it up and try a different shop next time.

Best sausage rolls EVER! We have travelled the world and these are the best after 12 years. Owners have always been kind and friendly.
Delicious fresh donuts. Small selection because it is meant to sell out by noon. Really intended to be a treat for the immediate neighborhood. The earlier you go, the more to choose from and the better they taste. Fresh baked, no preservatives.
Ordered ham and cheese croissant. She microwaved the entire thing in the bag. Handed it to me. When i got home it was still wrapped in plastic. Grossest thing ive ever thing. Sad.
I like donuts and I have had many different types of donuts from many different places. This is definitely a place to visit and try if you haven't. I go out of my way to get donuts here instead of any other donut shop in McKinney. What's even better is the staff. I am always greeted with smiles positive attitudes. The staff is always very generous to their customers and the prices are extremely fair. Love this place!
Little place in a strip mall. Not a huge selection. Lady was on the phone the whole time so she missed part of my order and I didn't notice till after I checked out so I had to do another charge. "Kolaches" are full sized hot dogs wrapped in croissants. Meh.... not the best, not the worst.
Truly the best donut place in town. Anytime I?m craving kolaches, it?s specifically kolaches from JP. Their donuts are so light and fluffy, and the icing is so thin and flaky, delicious!! I wish everyone in the world would stop by and try JP Donuts.
I love this donut shop! It's one of my favorite morning stops whether it's for work or home. The service is always so kind and prices are reasonable. Highly suggest giving it a shot!
JP Donuts is By Far the best Donuts in Mckinney!!! They have these amazing pretzel sausage rolls, they even have Large ones the size of a regular hot dog! My absolutely favorite is the donut hole sized mini apple fritters! They also will fill your Elair with the best raspberry jelly if you want. They have regular jelly donuts but, my Husband loves filling his Elair with jelly. The oil they use make even the Gazed donuts amazing! Prices are great too!
Always nice. Consistent good taste and service. Great version of the sausage biscuit with cheese without the thick heavy biscuit. They use the bread like used on the pig-in-a-blanket.
Even with the new management the donuts seem to be even better!!! Their donuts and sausages taste so fresh. I come every weekend with ny family and we all love it!
