The Cinnamon Bun is soooo amazing! I have no idea how they do it!! Soft, doughy bread in the middle but crispy like a donut on the outside... & it's about the size of your face. Bring a friend to share it with... & coffee, lots of coffee! Otherwise, you might need a bigger boat... you know, to bring it home.

The breakfast sandwich was the star today. I had an Asiago bagel with egg and cheese? simple but super delicious. My husband had the heartstopper and loved it! We got half a dozen donuts and I tried a few unique flavors such as the strawberry lemonade and creamsicle. They tasted exactly like those flavors but it was too sweet for me. The French toast donut was dry so that was a bummer. The Boston cream donut was killer though! I think I?ll stick to the basics next time but great spot overall.

Ordered coffee, chocolate glazed donuts, & breakfast sandwich. Coffee & donut....amazing. Breakfast sandwich....PATHETIC! It COST DOUBLE of most breakfast sandwiches and didn't taste any better than my local fast food sandwich of the same type. Was really upset I paid so much for MEH!

Best donuts ever. Bought a dozen mixed. 2 chocolate iced, 2 original glazed, 2 cinnamon, 2 salted caramel, 2 maple glazed, and 2 chocolate with sprinkles. They were super soft and delicious.

Great location, perfectly situated near to the pier and not too far from the beach if you choose to take it to go, we, however, decided to eat in. The glazed donut was classic and delicious, and the bacon, egg, & cheddar cheese croissant was well portioned and tasted great! Highly recommend, and would totally visit again if I?m traveling through the area in the future.

These are REAL donuts! The best place for delicious donuts! St. Augustine has many chain donut stores, and they suck. When Island Donuts opened, it was heaven sent! They have a wonderful mix of classic and unique donuts. The vanilla cream donut is literally to die for. Also, the line can get long on the weekends, but it moves very quickly and many options are always available.

Holy Cow on the selection options! What I loved most is even when waiting to pick what we wanted I didn't feel rushed or "nervous" that they were going to run out of anything, as we waited they constantly were bringing out donuts to refill the options they offer which are too many to mention in this post. GO HERE! Doesn't matter if you are 4 years old or 40 years old. We all love donuts and these are some of the best around.

The donut was very good and the pineapple fritter was EXCELLENT!!! The bagels were very tasty. The only thing that we wish was that they buttered the bagels for you versus providing butter in a cup that was hard/cold. It made it hard to spread on the toasted bagel and be hot and buttery like I was craving. Overall great for donuts for sure!

Sometimes you are just craving donuts ?? Today was one of those days (these days happen way too often) made the trip from downtown St. Augustine to over to Island Donuts to satisfy that craving. They were featuring their Mardi Gras donut which is scrumptious and my standard go to is always the Orange Creamsicle. Do yourself a favor and stop in at Island Donuts for that special treat soon

If you order something other than donuts, prepare for a wait, but it will be worth it. The doughnuts themselves are amazing, but the bagels are extraordinary. Food is delicious and customer service is awesome! The shop is very small and usually pretty crowded, but the staff stays friendly and eager to please!

We made a quick stop on our way to the beach today. The donuts were honestly my favorite from a local shop. The yeast donut specifically has such good flavor and we?re not too sweet! We also got some iced coffees that were very good and self served. They actually had OatMilk which is my wife?s favorite, I didn?t see stevia but they have raw sugar instead. Definitely coming back earlier in the day next time to have a better selection of donuts.

I love the donuts at this place, I wouldn?t get the breakfast sandwich again as the Asiago bagel was very mid and the coffee was average. But, I did go for the donuts and they were excellent. I loved the Guava filled one and the Coconut Fritter. The staff were really nice and super efficient.

Being from out of town, I knew I was in for a treat when I saw alot of local plates in the parking lot. I had an island fritter with coconut and was not disappointed. Lots of choices and not very expensive. If you like a good donut, you can't go wrong with this place.

YES YES a million times YES! This little shop is so freaking cute and right on the beach! We stopped in and grabbed a half dozen and enjoyed them with the sunrise. Stopping at Island Donuts was the best part of our st augustine trip. The old fashioned donut was great, the pecan coffee was to die for, and they actually have GOOD bagels, unlike most of florida. I would return here just for this place and it's a 6 hour drive.

Kids love the donuts but I am definitely here for the bagels! Sooo good! This is my second time here and it did not disappoint! The employees were very friendly. One gentleman and I were nerding out by talking about Star Wars. My kids loved the donuts. I was sad that they didn?t have the maple bacon donut. Apparently it?s on my available on the weekends. But that Key Lime Pie donut was banging.

This place had so many fun flavors and the donuts we got were absolutely amazing! The staff was super friendly and the overall place is super cute and has a great atmosphere! This was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. We ordered a BEC on a croissant and a BEC on an everything bagel. We also ordered a blueberry donut and a chocolate iced donut. I am still thinking about the breakfast sandwich 3 days later

This place is AMAZING! Very nice and clean inside. So many donuts to choose from. They all looked delicious but I chose the apple fritter with coconut toppings. Wife chose Boston creme and kids chose chocolate strawberry glazed. I also had a coffee, bacon egg and cheese on a croissant which was so freaking delicious! My wife had an egg and cheese on a bagel. Everything was very soft and fresh!

Clean cute little place with nice seating on the porch and pup friendly. The breakfast sandwich was delicious , bagels were so fresh soft and tasty, the donuts were so fresh and amazing! We were so glad we stopped here!

First, I love Island Donuts? Old Fashioned Donut, no one else makes em like they do. I live in St Pete FL and visit St Augustine annually. Island Donuts has always been a highlight of my visit to the city, and I usually order a dozen to take back home. I am bummed and let down with my latest special order. Frosting and sprinkles are lacking. (See attached photos- On the left Jan 2023, on left Jan 2024). It?s also frustrating that special orders require pre-payment + tip option, before you see the product.

We were staying nearby & needed a nice quick breakfast place. Island Donuts turned out to be just what we needed. The staff was very helpful & quick to respond. The chocolate with sprinkles was good, but basic. The cinnamon roll was huge & awesome!! The Key Lime filled was amazing & the curd was nice and tart. My wife liked the caramel glazed, but thought the salt was a bit heavy-handed. The Snickers donut was great as well!

Donuts are made of heavy batter and the glazing was sticky and wet.. it?s not Krispy Kreme.

Went to this little donut shop today (Friday, April 4th) at 12:56pm - 4 minutes before closing (I almost didn?t go because I always feel bad coming in so close to when a shop is done for the day). Nearly every time I have walked into any store right before they close, you get that annoyed look from the employees. That did not happen here - I?ve never been treated so well by employees getting ready to close up! (There were 2 people before me & 2 people right after me that were also treated well). They didn?t

Found Island Donuts in Feb 2023 and just had to make our way back again this year while we are in Florida for our annual Daytona 500 trip from Oregon. The pineapple fritters are the best I?ve found outside of Hawai?i and are an absolute must try?.. but get here early, they open at 6am and close when sold out, and that can be before 10am as it is a popular spot! We see why, and will make our way here several times during our 10 day trips.

Visited st Augustine for the 4th of July and was in the mood for some donuts in the morning. After a quick google search I came across Island Donuts and honestly one of the best donuts I have had. Customer service was great and the staff were very friendly. 100% going again next time I stay there again.

Great local donut shop. They get busy so get here early if you want to get your favorites. Also, parking can be a little tight if you have a larger vehicle. Parking is located in front and on 16th St. Be careful of parking in the grass lot across from Sunset Grill.

These donuts are the best I?ve had in my life and very affordable! Plenty of parking. Right off the beach so grab you some donuts and take them down to the Saint Augustine beach with you. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect close the road but super close to the Pier/Beach! The price is exactly what I expected which is good! Super clean, great choice and unique choice of donuts to top! And their cinnamon rolls are HUGE!

You cannot go wrong here. If something sounds good, get it. This is THE spot for donuts on the island and their breakfast sandwiches are also amazing. We always get the sandwiches and donuts and have never been disappointed. Theirs always something different on the menu and it's always good. For example the tropical smoothie donut exceeded expectations with its strawberry and vanilla yogurt flavoring atop one of Island donuts best. So good.

This location is super cute and everyone was so friendly. The donuts was to die for, maple bacon is a sure favorite of mine and it was delicious. The breakfast bagel was just as amazing - I?m so glad we have one in Jacksonville as well will be visiting that location soon for my fix.

Many places have distinct aromas?diners, BBQ joints, smoke shops, Mexican restaurants, coffee shops, and fresh donut spots. Friendly staff and chefs prepared my bagel with fresh scallion cream cheese, just as I ordered or grab and go before dawn and walk to the beach for the sunrise.

Oh my goodness, these donuts are DELICIOUS. My favorite was the Key Lime! Every flavor I tried was fantastic, though. I loved the pineapple fritter with toasted coconut. The staff were SO NICE! An absolute delight for a beach vacation! We stayed in an Airbnb on the beach that was about 3 minutes down the road and it was the nicest little stroll on a sunny day. The donuts were so good, and they have breakfast sandwiches with milk and OJ to take togo! They have tons of donut options and the staff was so friendly. This place sits right by the beach and it was delicious! It's a can't miss stop on any beach trip because I promise nothing is better than donuts and mimosas by the beach????

Some of the best doughnuts I?ve ever had. They even have breakfast sandwiches. The service was fast and the staff was courteous. The place was very clean. Definitely recommended for any doughnut lover.

Fast service. Good doughnuts - tasty, I recommend the salted Carmel. If you get a bagel sandwich eat it quickly - they serve them hot and if you keep them wrapped up they can get soggy from the steam. The coffee is out of crafts on the counter, not made to order.

The donuts were overall ok, I got the froot loops donut and the cereal was stale. Everything was clean and fast service, but I?d probably prefer the taste of Dunkin Donuts.

Friendly service and reasonable prices. Donuts are soft and fluffy and taste fresh. The only negative are the maple bacon donuts. The bacon did not seem like it was cooked enough. But overall, it is a great place for donuts, bagels, and simple breakfast sandwiches.

The young woman who greeted me and filled out order was so nice. She even went in the back to check on a donut for me. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant was honestly big enough for two, especially if you are eating donuts. And trust me, you want to eat these donuts! Our favorite was the Key lime. We will visit again before we leave St. Augustine.

The staff and atmosphere at Island Donuts was friendly and inviting. However, they offer no soda fountain, no iced tea, and the pineapple fritter was an obvious tourist trap donut. The donut was stale, all dough, and lacking flavor.

Best doughnut stop in Saint Augustine. The breakfast sandwiches there are simple but very delicious. This is a regular stop for us before heading to the beach. Highly recommend.

Coffee is free refills all day which is great since we were staying just across the street. The donuts have a great presentation when you walk in. However, my apple fritter had no apple, and my boston had no cream. A lesson in you shouldn't be eating donuts anyway.
