Intown Donutz & Boba Tea

Amazing place, they have good service and a nice calm atmosphere. If you like sweet, affordable donuts, this is the place to go. Also there Boba is delicious ??

Popped in to see if Intown had anything that would set them apart from all the rest of the donut shops and it really did stand apart. Aside from cake donuts and icing covered donuts and cruellers etc.. I love a good custard filled donut but usually I have to scrape off the chocolate on top. Here you can fill your donut right on the spot with several different fillings which I love! Donut was fresh and staff was very pleasant. I recommend stopping in.

The store is pretty quaint! The service was amazing and the donuts are so good! Their apple fritters are their best selling. I got an assorted half dozen - apple fritter - chocolate twist - cinnamon twist - 2x Glazed donuts - Chocolate donut w peanuts I am so happy I got to finally try it. Will be coming back and highly recommend it.

This place is such a hidden secret in the triad. The donuts are so fresh, the filling is done in front of you and the selection is amazing. You really can?t go wrong here, all the donuts are great. If you are getting a dozen, be sure to include a maple bacon. One improvement I would like to see is better coffee and better creamer/sweetener. (Powered creamer is meh) but I don?t go here for coffee!

Great *classic* donut place. My family prefers yeast donuts so this has a nice selection. They do have yummy cake ones too. They had a delicious glaze and my husband loved the Bavarian cream filled. We appreciated the size of the donuts too. Very fresh & tasty. The store is nothing fancy but no big deal, because customer service was good and they were kind. ~One bonus is the boxes to go-were sturdy and cute, so they would make a nice gift.

They have very nice service here. The area is clean and they've got a variety of donuts from Maple Bacon (which I tried and loved) to triple chocolate. I also tried the white cafe mocha which was AMAZING. Loved the donuts I got, I do wish once you ordered them they maybe were warmed for 10-15 seconds just to give it that warm fresh taste but regardless I enjoyed the donuts and the prices were pretty great. Just visited here this morning before work. Nice clean space, good donut options, and an array of drinks like coffee, tea, soft drinks, etc. Pretty good overall selection of donuts here, my favorite was the maple and maple bacon donuts. They did have sample donuts out but they were gone by the time I got there. Pretty cool art and pictures on the wall as well. Nice space! They also sell their own coffee and a few other things in store.

The donuts are the best in the city. The lady who owns it is so friendly. Definitely my go to place.

Always amazingly fresh and delicious! The yeast donuts melt in your mouth. The cake donuts have a wonderful texture with the slightest crunch when you first bite into it. Family favorites include the crumb, custard filled chocolate frosted, and I like all of the cake donuts (chocolate/chocolate frosted, blueberry, pumpkin, plain cake, etc.).

Best damn donuts i have had since moving to North Carolina from Massachusetts. Pillow like consistency on the rolled donuts and amazing fillings. My favorite and only donuts spot IN NC.

Intown is a fantastic little donut shop and a real gem in the Country Club/Jonestown area. It reminds me a lot of VooDoo donuts out west but at a more reasonable price point. They have a killer selection of donuts with lots of stand out optios. For instance the bacon donut is super cool and looks great, the old fashioned donut has an amazing bit of crust around the edges that reminds me of a streusel, and they fill the jelly donuts to order from a selection of flavors which is a super fun touch. I decided to finally give this donut shop a try. And I absolutely love what I?ve tried so far. I?m not a fan of overly sweet pastries, but I have to say, these donuts were literal perfection for my palette. Just sweet enough to smooth my donut craving, but not so sweet that it made my teeth hurt. So far from what I?ve tried, the strawberry glazed donut is my favorite as well as the bear claw. Will be making future purchases from this establishment.

Soooooo delicious! I bought donuts about an hour before closing and they all still tasted fresh! Staff was very nice and a box of a mixed dozen was just $17. 100% worth it will be returning!!

Absolutely love this place! Have never had a bad experience and their donuts are always fresh and amazing. I ordered a half dozen one morning and they even threw in two free donut holes without me realizing! The ladies are so sweet and helpful. They have amazing boba tea as well. Overpriced donuts that aren't even all that good. Some we're even burnt. The box of donuts that I posted cost $14.49! They said the tiny caked ones are considered 'big' and therefore cost more. Really, those tiny little donuts. To make things worse, I had specifically asked for the small, less expensive dozen. The girl even confirmed that was what I wanted. Quick stop for a snack, it was okay, nothing to go out your way for, but the fair prices and good staff really makes this place a decent place to eat a donut at but not to carry home with you because they get stale quickly.

My donut was stale and had very little maple icing on it but when I got home my wife said her chocolate icing donut was very good. I guess I will go back and try them again and see how the maple iced donut will taste next Time.

The BEST donuts bar none! I would've shown the crunchy donut but I ate it before I left the shop. This is the Apple Fritter - fantastic! I have tried them all and they are better than hot nows or dunkin ones! They are fluffy, light, airy, and not overly sweet. Trust me it's worth the drive from anywhere in North Carolina! Delicious! Fantastic New doughnut shop of Jonestown. Friendly staff, lots of different options. Love the sour cream, original glazed, ?? doughnut holes and seasonal items. They also have drinks, coffee, bubble tea, and milk. They have ? handicap accessible parking and a restroom as well.

If you ever get tired of Krispy Kreme and you're in Winston-Salem or Kernersville you gotta check this place out. Donuts are huge and delicious.

Now my favorite pop-in pastry store for apple fritters, bear claws (apple filled), Long John's (choice of fillings), and pine cones (a new pastry for me.) Great service from an incredibly sweet & kind service person. She'll often add a few donut holes to your bag for snacking. Prices are very reasonable. 5 Stars in my book.

Cute, clean donut shop where as soon as you open the door you can smell the fresh delights! They have a great selection of big doughnuts and other fried dough goodies. They have several options for filled doughnuts so you can always get what you want. Staff is always kind and helpful, and have always been very friendly!

Why open an establishment where you serve food and refreshments but don?t have a restroom for your customers and they have bad attitudes

I had gotten the Thai tea boba and a maple doughnut. The Thai tea was on the weak side, and a little disappointing. That doughnut, though...excellent! Very light and fluffy, no grease. Definitely some of the best I've had!

Showed up at the door at 7:03pm and they closed at 7pm. When noticed, a very kind gentleman ran up to the door and quickly opened and welcomed us right in. He was so kind as to even throw a few extra donuts in for us since they would be thrown out for the day. He also did not rush us to make our choices and had a very nice conversation with us. Needless to say the donuts were delicious!

Finally, I found a place that sells real donuts!!! Unlike the cake varieties of DoughJoes and Duck, these guys have the best tasting donuts around. Forget Dunkin and go to Intown! The service was great, they had a nice selection of donuts and they were fresh, soft and reasonably priced. My only gripe is I should have got more of them because now they are all gone. I'll definitely be back many times.

Had an appointment at Wake Baptist. Arrived early for appointment began my search for coffee. Other than the usual suspects in the coffee game. Found this nice little spot directly behind the Doctor's Park on Coutry club road on Winston Salem NC. Great Donuts,Unique coffee blend being served, and polite and courteous service. Truly a Dimond in the rough.

By far the best donut shop in town! Fast and friendly service. The prices can't be matched. They even fill your pastry with your choice of filling. They even threw in a free pastry for my son on his birthday and wrote a personal Birthday message on his bag! Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Their donuts are not prefilled. Their cream horns are not prefilled. They fill it when you order it, which is awesome. They were so good. Highly recommended.

Very wide variety of donuts! If you prefer a cake-style donut, I highly recommend the apple fritter--the taste and texture is incredible! The Bear Claw was also good if you are desiring that fall apple flavor: it is more like apple pie filling tucked inside a soft, fluffy donut. When we first entered the store, staff weren't wearing masks, but put them on when we went up to order. Would be great to see staff wearing masks whenever they are in the front of the store!

Any time I'm in Winston I try and stop by Intown. Excellent donuts, I especially liked the cinnamon twists, the glazed old fashioned, and don't miss out on the superb cinnamon crumb donuts. I've had the coffee and boba as well, which were both great. Skip the Dunkin Donuts y'all, get some Intown.

Excellent quality donuts -they're massive! Price is reasonable, about $27 for 2doz but it included all the fancies (fritters, bear claws, butterflies etc.), and she threw in some complimentary donut holes. Friendly service, -def. repeat business. DD went downhill with frozen stock and KK's glazed are unique in their own right, but Intown is best overall.

Donuts are so yummy and high quality. You can pick your flavor filling for filled donuts, and they'll fill it right there. Bubble tea is available here too. Service has always been very nice and attentive.

This is a great donut shop off jonestown rd. The area was lacking a decent donut shop (or any for that matter) until this place came around. Their product is homemade and very delicious. Our favorite donut is their glazed vanilla creme filled donut (they'll fill the donut when you pick it). The owner is also incredibly nice and really loves her job!

The business was open and clean. The woman working the counter was very nice, which was needed for the language barrier. The strawberry butterfly was amazing and fresh! We ordered 1/2 dozen for $7.00. Don't get the coffee unless you want a prepared drink or bobs tea.

Very cool place. Good selection and prices. Friendly and a place easy to get to. For me to walk to. Have smoothies and drinks. I wish they would put their store on the top of their receipts. Freaking love this place. Hands down the best boba tea in Winston. Everytime we go there we are greeted with a friendly smile and they know our orders down to the tea because we usually order the same thing lol. I decided to try Intown Donutz after reading the reviews. The donuts are reasonably priced and bigger than Krispy Kreme's donuts. I tried the creme filled long johns, regular glazed, apple fritters, and a bear claw. They were all delicious!!!! My hats off to the baker! Delicious donuts is all I can say. I am a native of Winston Salem and this will be my go-to donut shop from now on!!!

The donuts are great, they are actually my favorite, however, the customer service i experienced at this place was sub par, nay, less than. After i ordered and confirmed with the woman who had to be training, i get the wrong donuts. After saying something to her, she claimed me to be a liar, before she could go any further with her nonsense, the woman training her piped up and told her to fix it, only to follow with a condescending remark. This place has the best donuts in town. Always fresh and tender. I stop in there about once a week. They have beaten dunkin donuts and Krispy kreme donut 100 percent down. Go here and try it. You will love it. Trust me. They are the only donuts I eat. The Apple fritters are to die for they have real Apple pieces in them.

This was by far the worst customer service experience. I should of known when I walked in and the 2 cashiers didn't speak that I should have left. I got a dozen donuts. When I asked the price for the dozen I was told $8.50. By the time I got the register the price rose to $14.99. When I asked why, she said I chose 2 big donuts. Then proceeded to argue that I should have looked at the board, and kept mumbling under her breath. There are too many other local donut shops to give my money to.

I had a lovely experience. I had the sugar donut and the filled chocolate custard donut. Both of which were delicious. In addition, the Thai tea is great and I had mine without boba. Thank you!!

This is a good donut shop. The donuts are big and fluffy. They aren't hot like the ones at KK, but they taste much better than KK. My family's favorites are the bear claw, apple fritter, cinnamon pinecone, and of course the glazed. The strawberry butterfly or whatever its called doesn't have much of a strawberry taste to it.

If you have not tried donuts from Intown, you are missing out. Jelly and custard donuts filled when you order. Apple fritters that are so light yet crisp. Totally awesome place!

Any one who raves about the donuts here has not been to a bakery that serves truly fresh donuts. This is just another Dunkin Donut type place, on a good day. My favorite donut is the cream filled chocolate long john. This type of donut here had very little chocolate on it and the cream filling was some synthetic HFCS product with a shelf life (and taste) similar to a Twinkie I'm sure.
