I tried the strawberry cheesecake donut, Homer Simpson, and the little Jimmy. The strawberry cheesecake was my least favorite, even though I LOVE strawberry cheesecake. The filling was not creamy at all, it felt like jelly. It was a little sour as well. I loved the Homer Simpson one. And the little Jimmy one was really good too. I like how the actual bread on the donut was sweet too. The tables were pretty nasty though. The service was good.
First time in....not bad. The buttermilk is awesome. And you can never go wrong with an old fashion donut. A bit pricey but everything is these days. Handcrafted BTW so that's where the cost comes from...Might have to go back to try a few more.
I ordered the donuts on the app TooGoodToGo I understand the point of the app is to get rid of leftovers but at what point is bland, stale, hard donuts leftovers? I?m not the type to necessarily leave a bad review but why am I going to a donut place if I can?t even enjoy a normal glazed donut I understand they gave about 13-14 donuts but I?d have rather taken 6 glazed donuts at this points If I could give this a 0/0 I would
This was my first time trying Hurts Donuts and I had a great experience. The store was very clean and tidy. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very warm and polite employee. Since it was my first time there I was a little overwhelmed with their massive selection of donuts, but Annabelle was very knowledgeable and insightful of the many options available. She helped me select some delicious donuts. I?ll definitely be back!!!
This was our first time trying. We ordered a dozen and every single donut was dry, felt like we got day old donuts. Ordered different favors and they look delicious, but every single one was extremely dry. The Bavarian didn?t even have the Bavarian filling inside the donut. This was our first time and will be the last. Will not be returning. Disappointed to say the least.
Stop here at 630am to grab a couple dozen donuts for the office. As I'm walking up the employee walks to the open sign looking at their phone looks a me turns the open sign off and walks away. Me giving them the benefit of the doubt I wait looking in at the sign on the counter that states I'll be right back. The employee peeks their head around the corner looks at me and turns the light off. OK. I drop my daughter off at daycare go back 20 minutes later....still closed. Never again will I waste my time or m
Great donuts and love that they?re open 24/7 ? perfect for a late-night treat or early morning stop. That said, there were flies around the donuts and even inside the case, which was disappointing. Hope they can address that soon, because the quality of the donuts deserves a cleaner setup.
I visited for the first time for a special and was completely surprised that a donut shop could catch me off guard. Not only did they have a ton of different donuts to choose from but they were some flavors that I had never even heard of or thought of making as a donut. PLUS - they are open 24 hours a day! The staff were super nice and fast. The next time you are in the market for some yummy donuts, even if it is 2o?clock in the morning, please give these folks a try. I really do not think that you will re
Very good taste. Quality bread. We enjoyed donuts with different colors & varieties. The staff is customer friendly. If you want to sugar your mouth come here, enjoy. Free Parking is available. This shop opens almost 24 hours per day
Love this place and was excited to get a donuts and shake for my wife but was rudely welcomed by a blond guy that was working there and as soon as I walked in he said ?we are closing in 15 mins? which I was surprised about as it says 24 hours and it was only 11:45. Nevertheless I said that?s fine I just need 2 donut shake and he goes to get the two donuts but did not make the shake. When I ask him about the sake he just signed and said act extremely annoyed and said they don?t make them at the location whic
We probably overdid it with the dozen but it was worth it! The overall price is not bad and the quality of the donuts were great. The donuts do not dry up or harden even days after purchasing. Would definitely go back to try other options. The only downfall of the blueberry or apple one is that there?s only a bit of jelly on top & none inside so you don?t get to taste the fruit anywhere else. Otherwise, all the other donuts were amazingggg!
If you?re looking for a wide variety of specialty donuts, Hurts is your place. However, expect to pay lots of money $$. Donuts are $2.80 for regular $3.25 for speciality each (honestly not sure what the difference is.) Anything else (maple bar, cinnamon roll, bear claw) are even more per donut. The glazed donuts are $2.25 each but are ALWAYS sold out. I?ve been multiple times (like 8) at all times of day. Stuff is always sold out (especially glazed) no matter the time - also no matter what they say about t
This place was fun! They have a wide variety of unique donuts, but they also have the basic glazed and chocolate covered donuts. The staff was friendly and place was clean. We sat and ate our donuts and enjoyed the atmosphere. They are also open 24 hours a day! Thank you, Hurt's Donut Co.!
Hurts is open round the clock, and they offer Gluten Free Donuts on the Weekends and Wednesdays. I am celiac and have not reacted to their GF donuts. They use a special flour blend and have high power fans on while preparing them to keep cross contamination down from wheat flour used in their other donuts. The donuts are decent. My kids like the ones with lots of toppings. I like the plainer varieties, but that?s what is nice here, too. There are at least 6 varieties that I can think of off the top of my he
I had the most delightful experience at Hurts Donuts! The shop exudes a neat and professional atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets this place apart is not just the incredibly delicious delights behind the glass, it is the exceptional service provided by the young lady, Dusha. She not only remembers my "regular" order, but she greets customers with a warm and endearing smile that makes you feel right at home. Late-night donut runs have never been this enjoyable. Hurts Donuts provid
I really hate to do this but I thought I?d share my experience. The atmosphere and staff was friendly, however, these donuts were ?the worst? I?ve had in a long time. All of the donuts except maybe one were terribly dry as if they were from yesterday?s batch. I really hate I wasted over $30 worth of money for this.
I want to love this place. It's super cute and has tons of options. I've gone several times, and I'm often a little disappointed with the donut I chose. Today I got the buttermilk bar and for the first time actually loved it!
My wife, daughter and I came in on May 20th around 330pm. Upon entering the facility. There was no one there to greet us. We stood for a couple minutes then a no named woman came to the counter to take our order. My wife asked if there something special for Birthdays and the lady quickly answered "No." No emotion nor explanation. Which in my eyes was a little rude. Pushed thru that hiccup and was ready to order. I chose the huge apple fritter, daughter chose the chocolate lucky charms donuts, wife was prett
Awesome photo ops. Great donuts. Good service and fast. Pricey. But it?s a ?boutique? donut shop. To be expected. Lots of cute photo ops on the Hurts Donut name
$8 cinnamon roll with no frosting and served cold. We brought them home to warm them up and they were basically just bread. Dry af. Very little actual cinnamon made these dry loaves tasteless. Not worth the $$. Not worth the calories. I?ve never had a ?best damn? any selection from Hurts. Meh at best. 3 cinnamon rolls and a fritter = $30 and still sub par. Not great. Last visit.
Great donut shop. My favorite in the area. The staff was friendly, and it was very clean inside. Highly recommend visiting Hurts!
Guy serving donuts was really friendly and helpful making recommendations. The donuts weren?t great enough for me to return. I tried them on my way home and they were really hard as if they were days old? warmed them up in the microwave for twenty seconds and it was okay. Nothing worth returning for. I paid 10.25 for 4 donuts, one red velvet, glazed, cookies and cream, and snickers. All the specialty donuts I tried were hard? I was expecting them to be soft and cakey. Beautiful display and wide variety of d
They offer great flavor options, but the quality is inconsistent. The customer service is inconsistent as well.
I love this place. I love their key lime pie donut. I went in today looking for one and was disappointed to when I was told they only have them on the weekend. Maddie, The sweet girl must?ve seen the disappointment in my face and immediately offered to make me one on the spot and she made my day!!! ?? it was perfect! My morning commute is from Oklahoma to the shop to Legacy. It?s 20 minutes out of my way to go by and grab a donut and so worth it. Thank u Maddie! You?re the best!??
One of the best donut shops in town. I drove from downtown Dallas because Hurts does buttermilk bars (most shops don't even know what that is). Cinnamon roles and fritters are ginormous. Buttermilk bars are small but pretty good. Lots of options. Feels more like a chain than a mom and pop but they do make better donuts than most of the small shops in town. I went to five or six donut shops before finding one that did buttermilk bars. I would recommend checking out this shop.
How do you advertise that you?re open 24/7 and you?re closed? Sign seen in the window says ?we?ll be right back?? I?ve been waiting at least 15 min and nobody is around. Even other customers have driven up and completely surprised business is closed. NOT A GOOD LOOK HURTS! Oh well, I guess another establishment will get $120 worth of donut purchases this morning!!! ??
Large variety of delicious donuts. Crowd pleaser. We ordered twix, glazed & old fashioned donuts. We highly recommend it. Tons of parking available.
While originally I gave hurts donuts 5 stars I have to say service and quality has declined. Especially when you go in for a cinnamon roll with the cream cheese frosting and they look at you like you are from another planet. Yes hurts donuts in Frisco you've sold me cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting in the past and I have pictures to prove it. So stop looking so dumbfounded and angry when I ask you for them. I'll be finding another place to take my kids and family to from now on. *Awesome donuts!
Really unique donuts in a cute cosy setting! Hurts has a nice variety of interesting flavours; I got the ?Jesus? and ?Slim Shady?, though I?ve had the ?Cosmic Brownie? before which were all great! Everyone there is super nice, and patient since we spent so long trying to figure out what we wanted (so many choices!) Also the music there is great!
best donuts in frisco!! been going here for years, and i'm never disappointed!! service is always great too ????? it can be a little pricey, but it's worth it for fresh & specialty treats!!
The lady working 3/5 around 6:30 pm made our experience a 10/10. Super friendly and professional - greeted, asked if we had any questions, smiled...and my son loved his donut!
I'd say it's a "good" donut overall. First time trying, had to try as I heard a lot of people rave about the place. I would definitely recommend going because everyone has a different way of making donuts ...this type of place serves the Cake style donuts not the light and fluffy kind just FYI. Overall - place was very clean, smelled great, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I think the presentation of the donuts was spot on ...but again this is for those that like cake style donuts. Give it a try, You
Pictures are really speak for themselves! Not my first rodeo here but I?ve always wanted to review this place. decadent donuts that you will be coming back for every time you?re around the area. friendly staff and creative array of doughnuts with some ice cold milk and other drinks if you need. My favorite is the maple glazed long boi. Definitely one of the best dessert shop in the north of the metroplex!
Loved their donuts! Great prices for "craft" donuts - just opened so there was quite a line and some confusion at the front but they were working like crazy to accommodate everyone!!! New favorite donut shop - tried a dirty dozen and all were delicious!
Donuts were stale and tasted old. Not worth the cost. Had to wait for 10 minutes in a quiet shop (wasn't sure anyone was there) while the only employee was in the bathroom.
The Good: Excellent donuts! Best in the area! Glaze donut is by far my favorite. Price is good for what you get. The Bad: The lesser expensive option for more than one donut is to let them pick for you. Although I?ve not had a bad experience with that, I can see someone getting a donut or two that they don?t want. The Ugly: Certain special donuts are significantly more than the others. Although the cinnamon role (which is as big as your face) is priced more accurately, the other specialty donuts are
I don?t live anywhere near this place but have heard great things about Hurts so I decided to stop by after taking my fianc? and his little brother out for a fun night out in the area. From the moment we stepped in the door, our experience wasn?t the best. The guy working couldn?t be bothered to greet us and seemed extremely annoyed that we were even there. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt because it was late (around 1am) and thought maybe he was tired, but they are a 24-hour donut shop and we w
Tried for the first time but this will be my favorite donut place for us and kids will be having different funny options?our fav is the cookie monster ???? and couldnt stop myself in trying all my kid brought? Also the ambience couldnt stop in taking couple more pictures around?! so lets say ? Wanna Hurts Donut?? ????
Every Monday, they offer gluten-free donuts, which is fantastic for my daughter. Although the donuts are on the pricier side, they?re absolutely worth it?delicious beyond words! I do wish they used less food dye so we could choose from more options. Their lemon-filled donuts are incredible, with just the right amount of sugary sweetness. They also sometimes keep plain gluten-free donuts on hand and will add any toppings you want. The service is always great, too!
Gluten free-ish Chocolate peanut and birthday cake. Delicious, and they didn't bother me at all. Cannot recommend for those with cross contamination worries. But I loved them! This place is open all the time and the donuts are fun and delicious!!
I came here with my toddlers and was a bit disappointed with hygiene. We got a dozen donuts and started eating in store. In the Cookie Monster donut there was hair baked into it. I immediately notified the person that packed it up for us and she didn?t look too surprised and just gave me a replacement donut. We also tried the fruit loops donut which had stale fruit loops on it.
Went here on a whim after eating lunch. Thought the kids would fall asleep in the car and we'd just pick some up and head home. That didn't work, but we had a good time eating there. Got a "little dirty" which is a half dozen of the donuts of our choice. They were all good. Most of the donuts aren't a traditional type donut were probably all used to. These are really cake. I guess most donuts are, but these are pretty dense. I liked them though. Line was fast and plenty of seating.
My gosh! So much to pick from! .price wise its worth it. We order 2 donuts each and considering my children love sweets they barely finished 1!. I would recommend this donut place. What sucks is that it was far for us and this location is THE ONLY one in texas so far. Cinnamon rolls and apple fritters are same size as your head! .big size donuts. Too much too pick from ??
These were really good doughnuts. Also got a kolache. It was a good size and tasted good. I would've given 5 stars but after asking whether there was some mustard for the kolache, there was a bit of a bad look given by this girl with silver hair. Like she of all people should be judgmental. Also the music wasn't exactly appropriate. I like rap and all but when you hear explicit lyrics when there's kids around, there should probably be more appropriate music put on.
Stopped here one late night after going to the hospital to visit a family member. It was a treat for missing dinner with my fam. Surprised them with these cute and delicious donuts the next morning. Customer service was great and we were happy and satisfied with quality and service despite the crazy construction. The girls at the cashier was awesome, funny and patient with us as we struggle to pick all 12 donuts. Will come again soon.
Went at 8:30 on a Friday, 3 people ahead of me. Ordered a dozen $15 wasn't bad. Donuts were good, lots and lots of sugar! Cereal ones a little disappointing because the cereal taste stale. I wouldn't wait in a 1 hour long line, but no wait sure. Nice laid back atmosphere. 4 stars because I feel like customer service could be a little nicer, more welcoming.
Had the opportunity to check this place out when it first opened and wow was the line long. Who would ever thought anyone would stay in line for just donuts. Lol Their donuts are good, very sweet but food. Definitely try the Jesus donuts it's my favorite.
Everything was just mediocre. Donuts are over the top sweet. There should be a balance and it just wasn't there for the price and service. It also would not be hard to make a safe gluten free donut. I wanted to get one for my husband, but it's not gluten free, it's gluten friendly.
Great place for a late night study or work session! You might need to bring your own hotspot though, I couldn't find the WiFi password
We've been to Hurts several times and while some donuts are on point taste-wise, others are very dry. Last time, the old fashioned donuts were to die for, but this time they disappointed. The Jesus donut was on point but the red velvet was really dry, despite being pretty. Overall, some donuts here are very good and they are always creative and well-presented, but the consistency in quality could be improved (for cake and old fashioned). My husband liked his yeast donuts though, and those seem consistent.
Love the different flavors of donuts available. Donut size is huge. Very soft and fresh.
This is an amazing place for donut lovers. It has a great selection of donuts for every taste and budget. Worth a visit when you are in Frisco. They also have several other locations
I loved the experience. It was exciting and new. With a selection of Donuts almost as vast as the imagination. **Beware** these sugary confections can be hazardous to your diet now go enjoy. Happy eating.....
I was very disappointed with this visit. Hey guys, when you came to town, you had these crazy new wacky flavors, and now they are still the same old flavors that you opened up with. They were not very good. Your coffee machine is a joke. It was awful....motor of oil. The lady helping us was brand new or not trained well. The other lady looked like she was just working too hard and maybe for too long. Sorry, but this is not the fun place it once was. I think it's time to shake things up a bit like you did
Normally everything is perfect. This was not the case. Drove an hour and twenty minutes round trip just to get home and the one donut that I have been craving for TWO WEEKS to be raw. I am so sad ??
The donuts are stale, overpriced and have way too many toppings on them. I tried one that was delivered to my office and it tasted quite stale, as though it had been left out in the open overnight prior to being delivered. The donuts have an almost unbearable amount of toppings on them which makes the flavor overwhelming. There is definitely a lot of hype surrounding these donuts, however I find them to be lacking in quality, taste, and freshness when compared to other local donut establishments. Perhaps b
I love the variety they have here, and the hours are super convenient! I wished that they had a menu of all their offerings with pictures on their website though! That way I could print it out and bring it to work and put it next to the box so my coworkers knew what each kind of doughnut was. They all spent so long agonizing over what they were gonna choose because they didn?t know what anything would taste like haha.
Open 24/7 say no more. The long John I got didn't have any filling in it. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or they just don't add filling here. The donuts were pretty good considering I went around midnight. Not super fresh but I can't complain. The store itself is really cool. I'll definitely return to try some more items.
Everyone must try their Nutella donut, it was the best. Loved the fact that they are open late and place seems pretty clean. We ordered about 4 to 5 different types of donuts and all tasted good. We will visit them again! Mohammad
You should come on over here. Take a good look at my pictures and zoom in on them to see the names of the donuts and what they look like. Know what you want BEFORE you arrive. That way you can spend less time footing around (while others are waiting behind you to make up your mind) and more time getting fat and enjoying these delicious treats.
It was the BEST cake donut I have ever eaten.
Drove 45 minutes to get kolaches made it there by 6 A.M. the guy told me they sold out last night I asked if they could make some I would wait he said no they didn't know how.. Won't be back ??
Part of the attraction to this place is that advertises on their front window, "Open 25 hours a day/ 8 days a week." Essentially saying they're always open... well this is the second time I've come craving a late-night snack to find the "open" sign turned off and the door locked. I'm becoming less and less of a fan.
The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they didn't have my favorite. Otherwise, highly recommend them.
I can?t believe at ten in the morning that you?d be selling bad donuts, we purchased a variety so don?t say it was just a one off?.
Omg so good. If you?re feeling big back ish this is it!!!!! We came in at 1:45am. God bless for opening late.
amazing donuts!!!! ?????? we also got coffee which was great too. very clean. customer service was great!
Delivery driver , stopped by on my lunch not everybody makes maple bacon donuts. So I had to come and see 10/10 .
Love me some Hurts Donuts!!! Key Lime is my all time favorite. You can have plain, some icing or some crazy toppings. You CAN find a donut you love here.
I love donuts, and I love to get donuts at Hurts Donuts. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and modern. I like the assortment of donuts and styles of their special donuts. My favorite donuts at this location are the red velvet and chocolate donuts. Definitely a recommended place to go.
This is my favorite donut spot! They do not miss with the flavor! Plus they are open all day every day! I've lived pulled up at 1 am and 7 pm. You can't beat great donuts around the clock!
I love hurts donuts and make sure to visit whenever I?m in frisco. The general manager makes sure the donuts are great and has a good attitude!
First and foremost, this place is open 24 hours. So if I wake up at 2:00 am and have a wild craving for a doughnut, I can get one. THAT is freedom. America at its finest. The doughnuts themselves are excellent. The prices are super low compared to what I'm used to (from Colorado). The atmosphere is great, similar to if a bunch of snowboarders opened a coffee shop. I felt like we could just chill here for hours. Next time I have to do a lot of work on my computer I'm gonna do it here. This place has the trif
Good place and well maintained. They have good options including GF donuts on Monday?s and Tuesday?s. They are open 24/7.
Vibe is new and unique. Donuts are amazing. However, the place just opened folks and the response from the community has been huge. Do not go unless you are prepared to wait about an hour or more (SERIOUSLY). Also you may not get the exact donut you want because they will run out of something, but hey there's always next time! Set your expectations appropriately and you will love it!
Pretty good donuts. A friend told me about this place. I?m pretty picky when it comes to sweet things, so there were only two options for me. Cheesecake and cookies and cream I believe. They?d taste better fresher, but that?s okay. I went at 02:00, so I can?t complain. I will definitely be drinking water with these based off how rich and cake like they are. They?re thick donuts tbh. Like you probably need like 2 at most if you aren?t fat. However im fat. But you didn?t expect that twist, did yuh? Anyway
Absolutely breathtaking assortment of the most epic donuts and pastries. It took 5min to even narrow down the selection to a handful. Once the most indecisive decision since the red pill or the blue pill had been made it was immediate bliss to my taste buds! Overcome with the flavor causing pure happiness I decided this must be mixed with what must have only been unicorn blood as it was so good I couldn't stop forcefeeding my face with its overwhelming delicious treat... The maple bacon is almost worthy of
Found out about this sweet place ?? by word of mouth. I don't live exactly near by, about ten miles or so, with about fifty donut shops between this place of business and my humble dwelling. It was worth the drive past the other donut shops. Think of this place like "The nothing bundt cakes" or a boutique level cupcake shop like "Sprinkles". To call it a donut shop would not be giving the proper credit due here. Don't delay, come get some today!
Best donuts I've ever had. If you want amazing donuts... This is the place! The people that work here are the best! Big thanks to Sheryl! She's the best!
A one of a kind Donut experience. This franchise is definitely a title contender for best donuts in Texas. Take Hurts vs the field. Go Hurts Donuts????
Update: thank you for explaining. I empathize and appreciate the challenges in this current workforce environment. While it was frustrating experience for me, I do appreciate the explanation and offer. Most folks don?t take the time to explain. Changed review rating. ????????????????? Called earlier to see if they had Gluten free donuts available today. My daughters birthday is tomorrow and she asked for the donuts first thing in the morning. We were told they had the donuts and they?d be here all nigh
I love the Blueberry Streusel and Jesus (Cinnamon with Carmel Drizzle)
This place is amazing. You can get normal flavored donuts and then there are crazy kinds you can get. The Cinnamon rolls are as big as your head too. Best part they are open all the time!
I should?ve taken the picture before we started eating them, but it looks funny now with Cookie Monster?s face surrounded by the eaten donuts ?? The cake donuts are my favorite. It?s a nice treat; my kids really enjoyed it!
Delicious donuts! A little on the pricey side but they are well worth it. They have alot of fun designs and flavors.
We came here at midnight on a Friday night and there were no other patrons. The lady working the counter apologized for the lack of selection, although there were over 15 different things for us to choose from, we really had a hard time picking just a dozen! Everything looked amazing and tasted even better! After visiting Voodoo Donuts (in PDX and ATX) I can honestly say Hurts Donuts blows them out of the water.
Really disappointed in my latest purchase- all of my donuts were stale and inedible. If I didn?t live 20 minutes away- I would have returned them. I won?t waste $21.28 again.
Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed my donuts and latte while getting some business calls done. Service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming!
