What a cute, clean and delicious donut shop. They have espresso coffee and homemade muffins too! They were even nice enough to make me a ham & cheese croissant after they ran out. Highly recommend his little gem.

This little donut shop is awesome. After moving back here from Washington we had to find a good donut shop. There are no Legendary Donuts here so the quest was on. Howard's is by far yummy in my tummy. Personally, I love the huge apple fritters. My husband enjoys the multiple jelly fills (raspberry, cherry, blueberry and lemon) but his favorite filled donut is the bear claw filled with apple filling. You can get them glazed or crumb coated. Long time patron, consistently good. The apple fritters are dense with soft apple chunks and great flavor, good muffins, and friendly staff.

Best donuts ever ??. Love the mom and pop shop that has been there for a long time. They do have savory items too, my daughter loves thier ham and cheese along with the donuts.

I gave Howard's Donuts four stars. The staff was friendly when greeting customers, the donuts were fresh, and they were open on Christmas day. I had a chocolate covered old fashioned. Next time I'll try a few donut holes.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 10am and was pleasantly surprised at both the stock of selections as well as the price. But the real clincher was the taste once I got home. These donuts weren't any day old leftovers you'd get at most shops, these were melting in your mouth, fluffy, sugary, dreamy donuts. 10/10 what a gem.

No real complaints. Is just a basic donut shop inside but so far the best donuts we have tried in RC. I was reluctant to write a review so there isn't more competition to get our favorite donuts before the sell out. I

My husband and I TRULY love and adore the MOST AMAZING group of FANTASTIC individuals that work together as a team to make sure that all orders are taken care of in a timely manner, shop is ALWAYS clean and, MOST IMPORTANTLY - THEY CARE about your satisfaction and happiness. Clean Nan gives superior customer service delicious donuts

service needs a lot of improvement. im positive im not the only one, for the very few times i?ve come in here there is a very offputting vibe behind the counter the moment you enter and they notice you. if you value kind service and a tension free atmosphere i would support another small business. thank you though. oh and the $10 card minimum everyone else is talking about is real. donuts are good though, it?s just not anything special or crazy in my opinion.

One of the best donut shops I've been to in a very long time. The staff is great, and doesn't rush you to order. The donuts are always fresh; I've never had their coffee, or any drink for that matter. But if it's half as good as their donuts, I'd wager it is also top notch as well.

Like many I don't usually carry cash. They have a minimum $10 charge to use a debit card. Ridiculous! If you want a couple of doughnuts and don't have cash, this isn't the place.

We love this place. Best freshed baked goods and great variety of donuts and also croissants. But get there early! They sell out of the favorites by mid morning. They are open from 4:30 am on and close at 1 pm.

I?m not in Sacramento much anymore since moving to Stockton however I was in sac today and their French puffs are amazing I used to come here a lot when I was in sac and the French puffs always would sell out so when I came today there were only 3 left and I had mentioned to the lady at the counter I was from Stockton and don?t get out here much she was so nice and offered to make me another donut that was pretty much the same with a different look but offered to add the custard so I had her make 3 for me.

Amazing customer service, and really good donuts.

Hands down,the best apple fritters I've ever had in my entire life. And I've been traveling for work since 2001. Ice cold milk,right on the cusp of freezing, absolutely perfect. Rockstar donuts,the ladies that work the counter must know they are handing you the best donuts you'll ever have,for they always have a huge smile for you. The owners are very nice. I ordered 8 dozen donuts and they had them ready for me. They deserve 10+ stars. A really nice donut shop. They were the only 1's that would give me a discount for all of the donuts that I was buying.

This is a cute shop with very friendly staff and lots of space. The shop is clean and welcoming. They have lots of variety, unlike some other donut shops I have been to, such as: apple, raspberry, and lemon tortillas (highly recommend); apple and cherry turnovers; croissants; iced, blended drinks; and unique looking muffins.

I come here many mornings to pick up breakfast for my family after working some graveyard shifts. The employees working the counter are always nice and polite and I usually take forever picking what I want and I never have felt rushed. Their prices are quite reasonable, it's .99 per donut but $10 for a dozen. I have yet to taste a pastry from this place that was bad, their donuts are DANGEROUS you're going to want to keep eating them. Feels like a very "mom-n-pop" store and I like supporting these place

Delicious! ?? the place was full of people getting their Sunday donuts for church or family breakfasts! Winners are chocolate glazed, long John's (maple bar), raspberry filled and any of the coffees. Nice people too ??

This tiny place makes fabulous Donuts. I've smell-tasted a lot of them. if you don't know what smell tasting is, it's when you taste something with your nose. I've done a lot of that here and let me tell you all the donuts are fantastic. The only downside is they make you spend 10 bucks to use your credit card which is weird since Donuts are like $0.68 and I typically only want one. that's why they get four stars instead of 5-- for that inconvenience.

Pretty good donuts. Kind of pricey. Guy starts making donuts around 10:30 or 11 the night before. Seems to me they could be made a little later. In theory your fresh donut could be nearly half a day old when you buy it. People are friendly, service was good. Place looked clean.

Really good donuts. Their apple fritter is the best in rancho. The donuts themselves taste better than most shops, the donuts themselves aren't overly light like crispy kreme, but definitely are not dense like safeway. The workers are super friendly and while they have a decent selection, this shop receives a fair amount of customers so don't he surprised if some varieties are sold out if you arrive late morning.

Tucked well away in a sleepy strip mall is Howard's donuts. Went around noon on a Sunday not expecting them to have anything, only to find plenty of selection. Plus they were bringing out fresh ham and cheese croissants. The staff were very friendly and the donuts were yum! Next time I'm in Rancho, I'll be going back! ????

I stopped in and got an old fashioned donut and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super nice, and they have great prices! Be sure to get there early on weekends as they tend to sell out fast :)

Very friendly neighborhood donut shop. They have wonderful donut holes and good coffee choices although this is no Starbucks. I buy large quantities of donut holes from time to time and they always have enough and usually remember what I order without me reminding them

Come on now! Fresh great tasting donuts all day everyday, this place never misses and everyone that works their has great customer service no matter the time u go in, it's never dirty and I've never once seen a fly in their display, I am a lover of donuts and would suggest to anyone that they use this spot for their donut craving.

I stopped at this place one more time because my regular donut shop doesn't have regular donut at that time. Their donut is not different from most donut shop. Unfortunately their service is terrible. The guy came up and said:"What?" I looked like a homeless with dirty baseball hat. I wasn't there to beg for anything. I'm on my way to work. He looks like he an Asian. Is that how he treat people in his culture? No matter what, his shop is to sell stuffs to all customers, not just the people in his culture. I

Highly recommended! 4/5 stars, because I am partial to Hillsdale Donuts in Foothill farms. However, Howard's Donuts has amazing Maple Bars! The Glaze donuts are lovely, and the service was Great. Howard's is a local Rancho Cordova legend. The family really knows how to take care of business and take care of their customers... and they do that by making great donuts and serving them with a smile. My go-to is a custard-filled maple bar, and I often pair it with half a dozen donut holes, you know... for the ride home ?? Go to Howard's, show them some love, and they'll show you a great donut!

Just your typical donut shop. Friendly service and clean store. They do run out in the afternoon.

The service is always wonderful here but the ATM minimum charge is ridiculous, $10 minimum. Its 2018 everybody uses their card put a $0.75 or even a dollar charge on it. Every morning when I go in there there are several people with their children just getting them a little donut before school.

Hands down the BEST DONUTS in town and possibly the world. Howard should have went national but he didn't. Nevertheless his donuts smoke the competition. Especially the strawberry french cruellers(pink ones). Awesome sauce.

Bad service. Seemed rude. And the issue was they don?t accept payment from debt cards unless you spend 10$. So no cash and I ended up walking out with no food or I would had got more food than I even needed! Lady literally put the few donuts away since I didn?t they wanted cash. She didn?t even offer me a debt card fee as a way to pay
