I was raised in sikeston, but now live in florida. This is always my first stop in sikeston. No one can compare to donuts from Houchins
Best eclairs I have ever eaten. First time I've seen maple icing on one. The coffee was just right, excellent. The staff was super friendly. Everybody needs to get their donuts here.

Best dam donuts I had in 20 years
10/10, best donuts I?ve had in a while! The staff was super sweet and cordial and helped us pick out the best donuts they had (since it was our first time), and even gave us a bonus two donuts for the road. Definitely made our day! And the chocolate chip donuts on the weekend are phenomenal! The inside of the store is so cute with tons of room and we loved the decorations. Would highly recommend!
It was recommended by friends who used to live in Sikeston to go to Houchin's while were in town. Are we ever glad we took their advice. Everything we bought was delicious! Go there!
The regular glazed donuts were chewy the coffee was old. They had a limited selection and told me yesterday was national donut day so today they didn't have much. Made me wonder why does yesterday being national donuts day make a difference in what's available today? Aren't they fresh made everyday?
The only thing I wish is that they were open longer
When the current owner took over the glazed doughnuts were to dense and the twist where oily and the chocolate glazed lacked a chocolate flavor.....I quit going for a few months. I decided to revisit and let me tell you they greatly improved on the quality of ALL their doughnuts. Absolutely delicious!!!
Stopped in after lunch for a malt and the donuts smelled incredible. Grabbed a couple malts and half dozen donuts and left. The malts were top notch. But the donuts...the donuts were awesome!! Wish they weren't 130 miles from my house or we'd be regulars for sure. Next time we are any where near them we will make an excuse to stop in.
Yessss! Wonderful donuts. The chocolate white cream filled long john donuts are my favs! But everything is good too. Friendly people and it looks clean inside as well. So much better than Dunkin donuts. Yuck!
Very friendly staff! They had unfilled donuts and offered to fill with our selection of filling. The long johns and old fashioned donuts were fresh and very tasty. Worth the stop for sure.
Every time my family would visit my grandparents here we would get houchins doughnuts for everyone. They were always delicious and amazing. Now I have moved here and for the first time I've come to eat inside with a friend after not seeing him for a long time. Definitely an awesome place.

1st time in, wasn't sure what I wanted. I saw the Bacon long john,I knew I had found my poison. First bite was as expected,great taste! Since Im from the other side of town,it was my first time in. It wont be my last.. Very clean,friendly staff. Great selection.

Probably one of the best places in Sikeston under its new ownership. The new owners expanded the menu, the operating hours, and renovated nearly the entire place. The staff is great as always and the doughnuts put Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts to shame by a long shot. Prices are fair in my opinion. Doughnut holes are 12? each, Bavarian creme Long Johns are 99? each. There are a lot of selections as far as different kinds of doughnuts as well as some unique in-house creations. They used to be the greatest donut shop ever and they're still good but not nearly as good as they were years ago
This place is the best. I grew up in Sikeston. Houchin's has been a family business from before I was born. Almost every morning my mom would bring some doughnuts from houchin's. They always have the best selection. Fresh or day old? With unbeatable prices anywhere in this country.
Mixed feelings about this place. Great donuts but they refuse to join the twentieth century and take debit and credit cards. I will go take twenty out of an atm for dinner somewhere but I refuse to for two dollars in donuts. They are hurting their business by doing this.

All you need to know is this: Houchin's has the best damn donuts in the state. Don't bring me no Casey's donuts! Don't even offer me a Dunkin donut or we can't be friends. HOUCHIN'S DONUTS ARE SO GOOD THEY MAKE ME CONSDER GETTING A JOB IN LAW ENFORCEMENT

I thought since they were under new ownership that they would be back to the Houchins Sikeston had grown to love. Wrong. Cold donuts and warm milk both times. Wont give them the 3rd strike.

It's been last year sense I ate there.I wasnt in too there Donut's it was nasty,and hard.I think they need too get someone in there that takes care of that place right.I haven't been back this time and won't be back until they get someone in there that cares for food better then that.I can't believe I paid for it that day..

I waited for exactly 16 minutes, and I was ignored. More people came in and I was completely ignored. I'm wondering if my ethnicity played a part. I didn't deel welcomed, so I will never return.
