Hot Donuts

I love every time I've been here. It's become my new place to want donuts. They get pretty busy the mornings I go, but even then, they are quick and get through the line. Their bulgogi kalachi is amazing. The service they give is awesome, even when they are swamped with people.

I used to go to another donut shop in Rowlett but it?s pretty bad and someone recommended this place and I absolutely love it! The customer service is amazing! They have a great variety and I love the options they have for the kids!

My family and I absolutely love this donut shop. Sarahi and Kevin are the most friendliest people you will ever meet. They have a bunch of varieties of goodies and they know you by name. They also introduce new items which we always try and they never disappoint. Make sure you find time in the morning to frequent this business. Great job to the bakers as well. Hope you enjoy this great place.

I've tried this place a few times before reviewing, and I've been so happy with the consistency, great customer service , and freshness of the donuts. Most donut shops use a darker chocolate for their icing and they use a milkier chocolate which makes all the difference! The chocolate cake with chocolate icing is my go-to and is AMAZING. It is nice and slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the chocolate icing on top makes it perfect. So glad I found this shop and seems everybody

This is the BEST Donut shop in the area, I tried them all. Fresh, lots of variety and the staff are all AMAZING! Can't go wrong here. I'll drive past the closer ones to get to this one, because I know Im going to be satisfied, plus they are so pleasant and kind.

We tried this early for some quick donuts. We were greeted and took our order very friendly and helpful. Great tasting donuts. They have specialty donuts with very original flavors and good price. Very clean and we will be returning again and again.

My wife and I go here all the time and it's our favorite cozy, friendly neighborhood donut place. They have unique offerings like hangry dawgs with different sausages, bulgolgi kolaches (Korean beef, can ask for spicy!), and maple bacon cronuts, just to name a few. They're truly the epitome of "service with a smile" the staff is always friendly, upbeat, and accommodating. I detracted one star on atmosphere, but that's only because they get so busy sometimes the line reaches outside and it can take a while.

Everything is great and the staff could not possibly be better. The flavors are on point and the donuts melt in your mouth. The unique selection is amazing. We drive 20-25 min past probably 15 donut shops to come here. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Don?t come here unless you want to never enjoy another donut shop.

December 2019 update: My daughter swears that this donut shop is the best one in the area. As I mentioned below, there are 3 donut shops that to me are the same but she swears by this particular one. I went again and donuts are always better hot! ============================= Good donuts and they serve it hot. The service was good and the food was good. There are 3 donut shops right around this area and they all taste the same to me so for me, the price, service and accessibility.

Hot Donuts has quickly become our go-to weekly donut shop. Each Friday my daughter and I pick up donuts on the way to school, and this school year we decided to try some new donut shops. Well those trials didn't last long because as soon as we had Hot Donuts my daughter wouldn't go anywhere else! She says the kolaches are the best she's ever had, and she loves getting the tiny ducks at each visit. I love that the staff is so friendly and the donuts are delicious! ??

This is by far our favorite donut shop. We pass about 5 other donut shops on our way here and I promise it's worth it every time!! They offer unique donuts you can't get anywhere else and they're always fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing as well!

Place and people running it are amazing! All the kids around town love this place!!! So get there early before the lines out the door! :)

The variety offered was exceptional and the store is sparkling clean and carries a cozy atmosphere. I run by here every morning and today I finally had the chance to stop in. I received wonderful service from a kind woman at the front counter and all of the donuts looked so delicious it was hard to narrow down my choices. They tasted even better than they looked, my whole family was pleased and we will definitely be returning!!

I've frequented several donut shops in the area and find this one to be my go to spot. Friendly, accommodating service and most importantly very delicious donuts, cronuts and kolaches.

My family and I have been here a few times but yesterday was not a good experience.! My entire family (husband, 2 kids, and i) got food poisoning after eating the donuts from here. We spent the entire afternoon and night throwing up, and still do not feel good. Have to be a little more cautious on how well you clean your stuff over the weekend before you cook Monday morning.

They need a bigger store and more help. There were a dozen people in line today. It is good food but many people could not wait.

Best donut shop in town! I?ve been going here since I was a kid and the donuts have always been delicious, the service always wonderful. I ordered 6 dozen donuts for my hospital and asked if they could be ready at 5am and they completely came through. They even helped me bring everything to my car.

They are so attentive and very professional. The donuts were absolutely delicious and fresh. It was worth the drive.

The donuts are good. They offer many varieties. The large cinnamon roll and the raspberry filled was a favorite. The donuts are light and have a good flavor. Very nice people own it and it is really clean. There are tables if you want a quiet place to eat and drink. It has been in Rowlett for over ten years and we just found it. Perfect for soccer day or during the week for work.

Best donuts, they are soft, fresh and don't have that oil taste like most places. They are the only place that I know if that has Cinnamon glazed donut holes. Great customer service to top it all off!

Normally would give it 5 stars! We travel further to this place because it?s been so good but it?s been changing. There is evidently a new baker who has changed the cinnamon rolls and the chocolate icing. If it?s not broke, don?t fix it! The cinnamon rolls are now too fluffy and not enough cinnamon. The chocolate icing is darker plus thick and pasty. Had to throw away the buttermilk donuts today because it was way overdone and crunchy from it being burnt. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. It?s always very clean and donuts are always available hot. The only donut place in the area with melt-in-your-mouth glazed donuts, but all of their options are great.

Always love their donuts, been going to this donut shop since I was little and my parents took me and I am in my 30s now and after moving back to Texas I've gotten a chance to take my kids who love it as well and they are teenagers. Just a heads up though if you want to have more of a selection go earlier in the morning say around like 8:00 as the closer it gets to noon the less they may have of certain things.

Omg the best donuts in town! I haven't gotten a single thing here I don't like. The glaze isn't too thick and the chocolate ismt too sweet. They even know my son's name! Diets are hard with this donut shop being on the way to work!

I love this place. It's a "hole in the wall", but those are *always* the best places. My family has been getting donuts here since before I was even born. I ordered birthday donuts for my daughter to wake up to. I ordered them about a week in advanced. My husband went to pick them up and didn?t check them before he left but I wish he would have. The donuts looked so unbelievably unprofessional. I asked them if they could do a ?Frozen? theme and they said yes without hesitation it was so far from that theme.
