These donuts are mind blowing and phenomenal! You could tell so much thought and love went into them and that they were fried with fresh oil. We were in Brookings on a family trip and stopped here to grab donuts for a fun breakfast. Needless to say we were all wanting to go back for more and tried to go back later in the day to get pretzels but he was already sold out. So get while the getting in good! This will be a regular stop anytime we are on the Coast.

Took grandbabies on a trip and found this amazing donut shop. This was some of the best donuts we ever had. Soft fresh and just plain delicious.

Was passing through the area. Stopped in here. They had good variety. The employee was super helpful in explaining what each donut was and making recommendations. The donuts I had were fresh and tasty. If I ever come through again, I would stop in for sure.

Fresh, high quality, flavorful, and just amazing!! This is the only place I've gotten scones from that I really enjoy. Soft pretzels, breads, assorted donuts. You will not be disappointed!

Glad we found this bakery, they had a lot more options than I was expecting and they were all really good. Wish I had time to try more! The plain glazed donuts were by far my favorite though. They were perfectly sweet with not too much glaze but still light and fluffy! So good.

We have a great donut place near where we live, and Honeybee is even better. Definitely the best apple fritter I've ever had, and the ginger scone was amazing.

WOW! The donuts and bread here are awesome! The cronuts and apple fritters are especially delicious. Thank goodness I live one town over otherwise I'd be eating donuts every day! The staff is super friendly as well.

Every once in a while, we are fortunate to discover a small business getting it all right! Spencer, Owner and Baker/Chef extraordinaire, prepares some of the best baked goods we've experienced, Anywhere. Anywhere! Really! Looking into the case of deliciousness, once can see each item is given proper care, and looks as if it was made to display, and tastes even better. This is probably one of the best bakeries I?ve been to. The cinnamon roll donut, apple pudding, French Cruller, pesto roll and glazed donut were all amazing and HUGE!

I lived in France for a month. So head my word - croissant I bought in Honeybee Bakery is strong contender for the best I ever had. Perfectly baked through, with brown crisp thin crust and soft fluffy and buttery inside. I wanted to take a photo for the review but the croissant disappeared before I knew it.

We are from out of town. She does NOT skimp on the bacon, for the maple bacon bars. Coffee is perfect flavor. The shop is just a tad bit tiny for my liking and that's why I gave it 4 stars. No place to sit down. But the murals on the walls are gorgeous. The staff are quick, polite, and helpful!

Absolutely the best donut shop in Oregon. They are dedicated to traditional old fashioned bakery goodies with new surprise sweet treats too. I highly recommend the PB&J jelly roll. Just save one for me.

We made a quick pit stop at Honeybee Bakery not expecting too much?it was so excellent! The donuts were so fresh, you could taste that the frying fat was fresh, the raised donuts and the cruller were so fluffy and flavorful. Will definitely stop there again when passing through Brookings. And you should too!

Went here for the first time today while on vacation. The donuts were absolutely amazing, and the service was just as great. I will definitely be going back before heading home, and every time we come back to Brookings!!!

This bakery is a Brookings treasure. Prices are great, everything is made from scratch with love. Everything is delicious, had many different things all amazing. This establishment is deserving of its great review score.

The donuts are wonderful and service upbeat and friendly. New building is being built across the street that will be better atmosphere. We will be back!!!

Being a former owner and now a manager of a bed and breakfast, I tend to be quite discerning over bakery items and breakfast entrees. I bought an assortment of frozen scones to bake off the next morning. I have to say, they did not disappoint. They were baked to perfection; beautifully golden-brown exterior and moist in the center. It?s evident they use quality ingredients.

Prices just a little high but over all good experience.

If you?ve never had a Crueller, try one! Not as sweet as a donut, texture different, absolutely lovely! Wonderful service. Beautiful murals. Love that CASH IS STILL KING THERE!

This is a must stop for the northern California and southern Oregon coast. The cake donuts are fantastic, especially the regular glazed. The yeast raised donuts are light and fluffy and the chocolate and maple bars are the way to go. My wife and I really enjoy the cream cheese and maple cinnamon rolls as well. The staff is friendly every time we go in. You either need to preorder the day before or make it in by 10am in order to have a large selection.

Bakery by the Sea is no more... but that's okay, because their successor bakery is just as good or better! Ordered half a dozen different pastries and was happy with all of them. Great variety of freshly made donuts and they even have low sugar options. Recommend arriving early to get first pick. I especially liked the glazed croissant donut hybrid - the "cronut" - but everything was delicious.

This place is fantastic! Each donut and pastry is made with loving care and sure tastes like it. There is a wide variety of donuts and pastries and they?re absolutely delicious. Maple bars, cinnamon rolls, filled clouds of heaven. Reasonably priced and care given to each customer makes this place our #1 bakery.

We stopped in here for some breakfast during a camp trip and these were, hands down, some of the best doughnuts we have ever tasted. So soft and fresh. I highly recommend their chocolate covered strawberry glazed doughnut and their twists were amazing. We will be coming back. The sweet guy working the counter even assisted a mother with her hands full to her car. It was such a simple act of kindness that was also impressive because they were busy. The customers matter here and it shows.

I have a new stop in Brookings from Gold Beach. Very fresh and tasty chocolate custard filled and delicate pastry cruller. Ppl like me who seek out good donuts know the best are usually made by middle aged South East Asians. We might have a exception here. I will return.

Delicious donuts. I almost didn't find it; their door is hidden next to another storefront. But stepping into a beautifully painted hallway, you can smell the donuts right away. They're all gorgeous, fully raised and decorated with care. Definitely coming back again!

There only open 8 hours a day 4 days a week. Which is ridiculous for any business. Bought one cinnamon twist with cinnamon sugar and a apple fritter. Cinnamon twist is my favorite. Apple fritter is good too. Though I would love more apples and maybe a bit more sour apple flavor. That?s just my personal preference.

We stopped in this morning on the way home and what an awesome place and atmosphere. We got an Apple & Blueberry Fritter that were delicious. The Blueberry Fritter was excellent with the consistency and was our favorite. We will be back.

Their baked goods are so delicious, the best. The aroma from the bakery hits you when you open the door to walk down the hallway to where they are located. If you weren't hungry before opening the door you will be, it is awesome. Great selection to choose from and reasonably priced. Some days they have chibata rolls as a special.

While there I grabbed one each of whatever they had left (Honeybee Bakery is popular, so pre-ordering with them is a smart move if you want full options). We arrived on a Sunday around 10am. They had a small selection of doughnuts. Not what I was expecting from the website or Google maps page. I thought it was a bakery. The doughnuts were delicious, we sampled a buttermilk, a yeasted ring with custard fresh berries and a chocolate drizzle, a sprinkle doughnut and a cruller. I would go back.

I really wanted to love this place! But today was the second time receiving doughy undercooked donuts. Will not be trying again. Update: didn?t know I would be asked for a pic and threw the undercooked ones (the cinnamon twist glazed) to my chickens everything else was cooked! But those are my fav and the reason I came. I wanted some good apple fritters for Christmas morning and when I heard they were going to be closed from 1221 - 1/2, I decided to pick some up on 12/21 and freeze them for Christmas morning. It worked, they were still as fresh as the day I bought them. I even sneaked a bite while they were partially frozen and that was a tasty treat also.

Kids enjoyed the donuts. One guy at the counter was nice. The other guy completely ignored me 3 times when I asked for fake sugar for my coffee. Then when he pulled it out, said I was weird, and that no one has ever asked for "fake" sugar there. Then when I explained to him that I was diabetic and was only getting coffee, he informed me it was probably a "dangerous" place for me to be then. I was left feeling embarrassed and not very happy. The doughnuts are great but get there early. The business is in a strip mall so the outside door opens into a hallway. Go down the hall at the end there are two doors, use the left door.
