Homestead Country Market

It is so nice to go into a place like this where the workers are smiling and pleasant. It seems like they enjoy their work, and it is reflected in the products and the beautifully clean, organized store. I love exchanging pleasantries with the clerks. They are very friendly and helpful. More than once I've had to ask for help in finding something, and the nearest worker at hand will assist. If that person doesn't know, he/she will be sure to go get someone who does. They have a little cafe in the back

A good place for some quick grocery shopping. They serve hot meals as well. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Love love love me some of this place. Awesome deli sandwiches. Oh I forgot,they have cracklins. Hard to find item anymore.

Home cooked meals, salad bar, deli is amazing with great prices. Huge variety of plants when in season. Unique furniture, greenhouses, etc.

Great place to stop to refresh while driving along the Morgan Trail or Route 32. Clean restrooms, great deli sandwiches, sweets, and all sorts of goodies.

The hot food counter is excellent. Try the open faced roast beef sandwich, it's delicious.

Authentic Amish shop. Solid bakery,we stop whenever we are in welston area. they have baking supplies too, light groceries and live plants in the summer.

The donuts were some of the best I?ve ever had, so soft and delicious, and the candies I got were delicious too!!

Great place for "Amish Style" foods and baked goods. Reasonably priced. Excellent delivery and cheese counter. Hot food is very good too.

I absolutely love this place. The donuts are out of this world and the deli has the freshest meat. If you haven't tried the rib dinner I highly recommend it. I was a little disappointed that they discontinued their garlic bologna, it was a favorite. Prices are a little expensive but well worth it. I drive out from Jackson at least 3 times a week.

Great place we go weekly however they are getting a bit expensive. Good quality meats and cheeses and a decent selection of vegetables as well.

I absolutely love everything they have to offer here. They make great homemade food and desserts. Donuts are great as well, but to be honest I wish their Donuts were more like the Four Mile Bakery's. All in all, this is a great Amish store.

Beautiful greenhouse section with a large assortment and reasonable prices. The market is full of Amish/Mennonite goodies, deli, lunch counter and groceries. Nice selection of outdoor furniture and sheds. They do accept credit cards(I know many local Amish/Mennonite are cash only). Definitely worth a visit.

The bakery white bread is so-so. Its too soft. It needs a pinch of salt. It rips just lifting it up to cut it. I would need to knead my homemade bread appx. 3 more mins. if mine was that soft. The wheat bread is 5-stars. (??????????) It tastes wonderful & has a tender, slightly chewy texture. It holds sandwiches wonderfully at home. The sour cream doughnut was supreme. 5-stars. (??????????) Sweet, rich, & tangy.

Excellent service with a wide variety of healthy, lovely flowers and plants in the greenhouse. The grocery features a vast selection of baked goods, meats, bulk goods, and more. My mom and I shared an exquisite light and flaky raspberry filled cream pastry and I brought home some delicious chocolate chip cookies. I also got some petunias.

A bit pricey but they have quality things here. I bought Mother's Day gifts here for my mother and my wife.

Definitely a must stop if you are in the area. Also worth a long drive. Lol. The food is very good. Make sure you try the smoked chicken. It's amazing! The doughnuts to die for! ALL OF THEM! You might have to wait a bit for your order or in the checkout line. That's because this is quite a popular place.

I love this place but you might want to check the dates on the ham salad and the chicken salad. I didn?t and I wasted $22. But other than that it?s really nice.

Excellent food with dine in open now. Some of the best smoked chicken around. They have a fully stocked deli serving up meat, cheese and sandwiches to go or eat in. Lots of homemade food, canned, baked, prepared. Well worth stopping by if your nearby and want some good food!

They have a lot of good stuff, The only problem I didn't give him a four just like every place right now it's very expensive. Everything costs more now than it should. That might not be their fault and maybe the economy. Everything seemed to be good quality. So maybe at 4 is not really their fault but price is sometimes a factor for me

Their Tuesday special is open faced roast beef. The best I have ever found! Tybee mashed potatoes are the real thing. No instant ones. The bread is home made.

Wide variety of choices, excellent tasting of food, and will not find yourself in any nicer atmosphere than here at the Homestead!??

I?ve shopped here a number of times. They have a great selection of food items at fair prices. Especially like their freshly made donuts.

My boss just brought in some of their donuts yesterday and I am PICKY when it comes to donuts. Hands down, the BEST donuts I?ve ever had in my life. I have been telling everyyyyybody about them

Places like this aren't normally cheap, and this is no exception. We got four donuts, three of which were $1.75 apiece and one at $2.50. That wasn't what we were charged, though. My wife didn't do the math to see she was overcharged, but they charged her for seven donuts rather than four. She ended up paying $3.50 per donut for three of them that were marked as $1.75.

Awesome place for fresh produce, niche items, furniture, and deli products. Prices are great, employees are awesome. Love this place for a great variety of hard to find items like specialty jams, and cheeses. Check it out for great prices and food.

They bring in all the Amish country items from around Holmes county,Oh. The freshest deli meats & cheeses, bulk candies and baking supplies, Jared foods ,to jerky. Now in their new building they have expanded to frozen foods, pop cooler and a soup & salad bar.. Chris is one of the owners and he's the friendliest guy you could meet. There pulled chicken is great, so is the Cole slaw!!! I always pick up some of their peperoni and beet chips while we are here. Way cheaper than what I would by elsewhere and it is a better quality. They have all kinds and cheses and pretty much anything you would need for baking and a deli!

LOVE this place. Their deli is awesome, they have pretty good sales on their meats/cheeses. Would have given 5 stars if most things weren't so expensive.

It's a decent place, just nothing special for one that visits Holmes County often. Very good price for hanging flower baskets, compared to Walmart and Lowes.

They have grocery items, baked goods and a deli. Doughnuts Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They have lots of jarred items such as jams, pickled foods, and condiments. Some local products. Greenhouses, furniture and sheds outside. There are lots of items we go there for. We love the ham salad, sweet Lebanon bologna and the jarred BBQ sauces.

Homestead Country Market has great deli meats and cheeses, and really good doughnuts too. They have the best extra sharp cheddar cheese in the deli of anyplace around. I have not found any anywhere else that even comes close. Some of their prices on some of the things they sell in their store are a little high, but I guess that you find that everywhere you go. It is definitely worth visiting!

I have stopped going, though I used to go every Saturday. The kids who are on the register get flustered. It isn?t their fault. They are placed in a job that isn?t right for them. After seeing it on a weekly basis, I have stopped going.

Love this homestead. For many reasons but the food is always first. I usually have my husband grab a box of amish donuts when hes loading and unloading buildings usually on Thursdays or Fridays. Only I've realized everytime i eat the plain glazed ones, im sick for days. However noone else in my house but me gets sick like that so I figured out I am allergic to something after all, altho i still dont know what it is yet. But its a bummer bc they were my favorite. And they have great lunch options for sandwic

Fantastic smoked meats with a multitude of creditworthy BBQ sauces. I loved my pulled pork sandwich! And really good ice cream and milkshakes.

I had a raspberry cream cream cheese iced long john. OMG, delicious and huge. Lots of baked goods, salads, ice cream, bulk candy, snacks and canned foods.

One of the nicest things about Wellston is this store l have shopped with these people for awhile l remember when they first had l little fruit and vegetable stand. And again great for Wellston ,thanks for the hard work you are doing.

I love this store the prices are great. I just wish that the bakery area made the donuts and other pastries more than Thursday Friday and Saturday only.

I just love Homestead! They have an amazing deli variety, candies, fresh baked goods, amazing donuts, beverages, a greenhouse for all your garden plants, flowers, chairs, sheds, and lots more!

Food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Girls working there were friendly. Will eat lunch there everyday I am in the area.

They have the best looking flowers around and their vegetable plants great also, will not buy anywhere but at the Homestead.

I like going to this store because they have different stuff but unfortunately the woman who cash you out arent real friendly maybe because of there culture since there amish..I still go anyways everyone is entitled to be how they want..
