Holtman's Donuts

We arrived late in the day so the selections were limited but the lady was pleasant in explaining the flavors left. We opted for the glazed cronut and the blackberry filled for St. Patty?s Day. While the donut was well filled, it was lacking berry taste. We did enjoy adding the filling to the cronut to bring the extra sweetness. The cronut was well layered and both donuts were fresh and soft.

3.5 stars, but you know Google. Well manicured exterior and ample parking. Several places to sit inside if you want to enjoy your pastries there. Very clean on the inside and the bathrooms were well kept also. I was excited to see there was a bakery close to our house. We have visited a location that is ~45 mins from our house. Wowza talk about extreme donuts. So fresh, so delicious. I wanna go back in and get more. I got three thinking I'd save one. Didn't happen. I got drive away from here before the temptation overcomes me. The coffee is good too. I think that the cherry fritter I ate was the best dessert ever.

To our surprise the vegan Oreo donut was actually great and so soft/moist. The rating would have been much improved if it were not for the tall man with wild hair that served us (see photo). We were looking for coffee and stopped here. They don't have a huge coffee selection but the coffee is pretty good for the selection there is! The doughnuts are so good! I definitely recommend stopping by if you are either in the area, or passing by!

Stopped by for breakfast, the place was busy with continuous flow of people and fresh donuts. Tried several different ones - red velvet, Cinnamon sugar doughssant , blueberry cake, cinnamon sugar, cream cheese topped .. all were super delicious and fresh! Definitely worth visiting! Excellent donuts. Loved the buttermilk bars which have gotten difficult to find. Very nice selection - friendly staff. I love donuts and these are really food. Very fresh, lots of flavor selection. Only critique - do not put that maple bacon on blueberry. Other than that I will be back for sure next time in the area.

Had high hopes that went down south. The lady getting the donuts definitely seemed like 2pm could not get here quick enough. It was very stuffy inside with no air flow. Also, very quiet inside and you can hear everyone talk/whisper. I got a strawberry filled donut. Almost no strawberry in it. Pictures attached. The place is very beautiful and kept clean but the donuts were your normal ones you could get a gas station I feel.

Holtman Donuts are some of the donuts you can find in the Cincinnati area! I stopped to picked up a mixed assortment of donuts for a meeting and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved them and raves about how good they were! I do feel like they tend to be on the pricier side for donuts but you get what you pay for! The premium for some of the best donuts around is completely worth it! Do yourself or your colleagues a favor and stop and grab a dozen!

Holtman's Donuts in West Chester Township, Ohio, is a delightful spot for donut enthusiasts! We recently visited and tried their delicious creations. This was my first visit with them and let me tell you they didn't disappoint either!! All the donuts looked amazing and the ones we got was out this world amazing!!! And the young lady working was so sweet and patient with me and my friend as we had to check everything out then decide what to get. Look forward to visiting you again very soon!!!

The lady running the store appeared to be inconvenienced by us being there. She appeared to be teaching a new hire, but that's really no excuse. The donuts seemed undercooked? They tasted doughy. My kids didn't even eat their donuts which says a lot.

I always always look forward to Holmans. So many great donuts and treats and super easy parking as well. A friend and I met up to catch up and enjoyed sitting at a table and snacking. If you?re a dessert lover don?t skip this spot! I?ll be back for sure

The donuts are wonderful, worth the hype. We got there later in the day, so there were only a few types to choose from. Big, open space inside with outdoor seating, as well. Easy to find from highway. Parking can be tight because it's a fairly busy plaza, but it's a free lot.

Excellent selection of delicious donuts. Inviting space with plenty of seating. Friendly and attentive staff. Make sure you try a cake donut, I prefer any of the blueberry varieties. Lots of unique toppings on the glazed as well.

The dipping stick is the best. Did not care for the maple bacon. They used a blueberry donut for it and it overwhelmed the maple. No decaf. Part of the donut trail. Very nice server. Will definitely return.

The store downtown is the institution but this is a less equal sibling. The red velvet cake donut is my favorite but the same West Chester store was compact and not fluffy like expected. The service was good with a similar setup to downtown. The yeast donuts are good but still in the mid grade ranking. There are better available.

This is the place to go for doughnuts! New location well done and the selection is fantastic! Make sure you give yourself some time to pick up in the mornings. Parking is easy and the staff is friendly.

I stop every morning I have a chance and get doughnuts for me and my coworkers. I guess it was a busy morning but smashing and shoving a dozen doughnuts into a box made for a half dozen is ridiculous. The icing and bacon from the maples smashed into the chocolate icing and trying to get someone's attention to correct it was impossible because I was basically ignored unless they can't hear in the baking area.

From first sight, the aesthetic of the building exterior draws you in. It is cute. It's not often you describe a building exterior as such, but it's warranted here, with the black and white striped awnings and the pink donut signage with the little bite taken out of it. The cute theme continues in the interior of the donut shop. The floors are black and white patterned tile and the fixtures and furnishings are trendy. This place is fantastic! A must visit if you're in the area. We visited 5 of the shops on the Ohio Butler County Donut Trail and this was the best by far of the ones we visited! The marshmallow donut was fantastic, our favorite donut of the day! We also had the chocolate and peanut butter one. Both were very good. We keep coming back here and it's always awesome: great donuts & great service, with different donuts each time!

Holtzman's always has a great, ever changing selection of delicious donuts. They have traditional go to plain cake, glazed yeast donuts, or iced with sprinkles, along with more creative & adventurous flavors like breakfast cereal topped iced cake donuts, & maple icing topped with bacon, etc.

Cincy Brew Bus Tours has a donut trail tour! So much fun. They take you to four of the stops on the trail and you get to taste freshly made donuts!

Drove up from Louisville for IKEA and also to try these donuts. The online hours stated they close at 5pm on Sundays I arrived at 4:15pm and the store was closed? I check instagram to see if they had posted holiday hours and they haven?t.

1st time visiting a Holtmans. Welcomed into the shop by a friendly donut hostess. Selection was slim on my trip. Donuts were not the best I've ever had..but also not the worst. Definitly bars above dunkin n other chains tho. Keep up the great work!

Great location with the best donuts I?ve ever had!! If you?re a newcomer here make sure you get the fruity pebbles donuts! So delicious. This last time we went to this location we ordered a king cake for Fat Tuesday. One of the best I?ve ever had! Some places skimp on the cinnamon and icing on their king cakes but no Holtman?s in West Chester. Great location!

I love walking into this bright and cheerful shop! The selection of doughnuts is impressive and all the selections have been delicious. They even have a doughssant (or a cronut) that?s worth a try, and their German Chocolate doughnut is a unique offering and delicious.

I LOVE Holtman's donuts! I had heard about them non-stop but always seemed to get to the OTR location after they were sold out. Happened to be re-routed during my morning commute up 75N and had to stop! Got two dozen mixed donuts for work. I think my favorite is the blueberry maple bacon, although Im also obsessed with the cereal ones! Were a fairly small office, so I had a couple to take home to my family. AND, I got my first donut trail stamp! Will definitely be back - great location!

I stopped in to the Loveland location late on a Saturday last week while in the area visiting family. I went in around 9:15pm and they were closing at 10pm. I did not expect a huge selection or for them to be perfectly fresh. However, they were all pretty stale and I was still charged the full price. Maybe consider lowering prices in the last hour or 30 minutes of being open as the product is definitely no longer fresh. I am disappointed about the price not the freshness. My all time favourite place to go for doughnuts. I usually visit their downtown location in Cincinnati but this time went to West Chester. I got their dozen box and got an assorted arrangement, all of which were good. The service is good at this location as well.

What a great family owned doughnut place! As I entered the store I was greeted with the smell of fresh doughnuts. It wasn't even 10 am when I had gotten there and I could tell many people had been there before I entered the deliciousness of this store, so make sure you get there early. I love that there is indoor seating, but I would love to see some outdoor seating for the nice summer mornings with friends.

This was somewhere between a gas station and a bakery donut. There was an odd selection along with a couple of the traditional donuts available. None of them were great. The glaze was 8.2/10. Be sure to check out my other donut reviews from across the country on here.

I see why Holtman's is a Cincinnati favorite! They have a wide selection of really creative donuts as well as many of the basics. The raised donuts have an amazing, pillow-like texture; I'd also highly recommend trying their doughssant. You can expect the donut cases to be just as full and fresh in the afternoon as they are in the early morning. All-around, Holtman's is an amazing, family-run business that deserves Cincinnati's loyalty!

The kid behind the counter was so unenthused. We would ask him questions and he would say, "Yep". After we paid for the donuts he pushed the box to us and walked to the back room. Wow...great service Donuts: Extremely sugary. Every frosting and filling was max sugar. Hard to taste any flavors over the sugar.

Holtman's is my favorite donut shop in West Chester. They always have the best variety of donuts in my opinion. They are a little more expensive than other donut shops in West Chester, but it's well worth it.

I spent $24 on a dozen donuts ??. I had two pricier ones in that but still crazy. We?ve been going to the original location for over 15 years and the donuts at this West Chester location never seem to have the same quality. The selection never seems to be good no matter the time of day. The double chocolate that we always get were thin and flat vs looking nice and plump. I know prices have gone up but seems like we were spending $13-$14 a dozen just a couple years ago at the main location.

If you love great donuts and a nice selection, this is your place. We visit every time we are in the area. Worth the trip!

Aesthetic wise, the shop is very cute and clean. The doughnuts looks appealing to eat. However the doughnut aren't as good as they look. The doughnuts are soft to bite into but there is something missing about the taste. Too many sprinkles on the doughnuts that it takes away from the doughnut. My daughter didn't like them as well.

I scheduled a pickup order for 9:30 am (dozen doughnuts) I arrived at the store at 9:37 and my order was not ready. I proceeded to wait another 20-25 minutes for the order to be fulfilled while dozens of walk in?s got their donuts and to note there were only THREE other people when I walked so our order obviously kept being pushed back in line as more people walked in. I asked to speak to a manager and his excuse was there was employees training, but they apparently had no issues fulfilling other orders s

While the donuts were overall good, the staff were rude to my family as we ordered. My children asked what the flavors of the donuts were and the responses were brought with annoyance and impatience. Will not be back.

This is far from our home so we try to make special trips to hit Holman's up from time to time. We were just there and staff was amazing. Super friendly. Donuts are awesome as always. Always worth the trip! Thank you Holman's!!

dont get me wrong there donuts are 5 stars. but how do you have a shop in Westchester open till 8 PM on New Year?s Eve and have it 3/4 of the way empty at noon and no more donuts being made.

A dozen donuts that cost $24 should be great, not just ok. Some of the filled ones had very little filling, and others tasted and had the texture of donuts that had been sitting out for a long time.

We swing by occasionally when in the area, usually after dinner at one of the neighboring restaurants. Holtman's does extend their hours until inventory is gone. We have also tried the morning shift. Donut selection tends to lean toward the current fascination with "exotic" toppings VooDoo Donuts & others have popularized - bacon, breakfast cereal, etc... The challenge is that the standard donuts tend to fall short compared to other options, regardless of time of day.

Went in around 9 or 10 in the morning and it wasn't busy at all. They had so many donuts to choose from fully stocked! It was really clean and the guy helping was so nice. Got the maple bacon donut and the fruity pebbles donut which were both amazing! The maple bacon was incredible the first time I've tried it and they were both so soft and fresh. Will go again.

I ordered two dozen doughnuts at the counter this morning, and the lovely lady helping me picked a perfect assortment of doughnuts! They were all fresh and delicious - a huge hit at work! I would definitely recommend Holtman?s and will be coming back soon.

The location is in an easy to reach spot, right off the highway and is extremely clean and well maintained. If you go early, I hope you run into Erin. Terrible customer service. Phones in orders take presidence over walk ins!!! Both owner and server were completely rude. Will never spend another $1 here. An absolutely great place for donuts. The variety is absolutely amazing. The place has fast service. All the donuts I ordered were fresh and hadn't been sitting in the case for long. The staff was great, no complaints. We will definitely be back soon. I will mix it up next time to try some other flavors.

Came in Sunday morning at 10am on 2/25/24 to get some donuts with my 4 year old son. Been coming for several years and this morning the young woman working was wearing a dinosaur hoodied that read: ?Cuntasorus?. If it wasn?t for my 4 year old and a bunch of other children in the store, I wouldn?t care at all (or if this was a bar or nightclub). Other than that, donuts were excellent!

My donuts were very fairly priced. And most were delicious. My only complaint is that I got a chocolate glaze and it had a blue dough mixed into it and tasted like blueberries. I threw that one out as I don't want my chocolate to taste like blueberries and it was kinda an odd combination. I'm not sure what happened with that but the smores was delicious with a homemade marshmallow and the red velvet glaze was good too.
