Great little donut shop. I got the tasting menu and a latte. I like that they make the donuts fresh to order so they come out hot every time. Absolutely DELICIOUS. I got waffles and sausage for breakfast a little too sweet for me, but it was absolutely delicious. We got a variety of donuts, including the most popular ones and everything was fresh and tasted magnificent. Stopped in after grabbing a coffee next door. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, with interesting combinations of toppings. I got a single Original Sin, which was hot (fried to order) and tasty. There wasn't a line, so I think I only waited 3 minutes. Really the only downside is value, at $4 for a pretty small donut, it's not going to fill you up, but these prices are to be expected for The Shore.

My first time at this lovely place. The staff were really helpful and kind, helping me make a selection for a vegan first timer! The staff helped me answer questions about freezing the doughnuts and other weird questions I have about random things with patience. We chose the Lilikoi Passionfruit. It was delicious, sweet, yet not overly so, fruity and I felt as if I had definitely had a treat! Great vegan option! Very easy on the digestion, too, as it?s light as well as satisfying.

This place is a perfect little donut shop. Definitely fancy donuts versus your run of the mill donut shop with the pink boxes. Donuts are pretty sized for a snack. Not a meal, which is perfect. I love yummy donuts #holeygraildonuts didn?t disappoint me today. The donuts are made to order so they are very tasty and fresh. I also had a iced hawaii vanilla latte a first for me made with macadamia nut milk. So delicious. Live the decor of this place so cute and quaint.

Really pleasant atmosphere and service. Visually appealing to those that like to watch the artists at work (my kids in particular). And most importantly the donuts were decidedly ?Wow!?. Had the snickerdoodle and the vanilla bean glazed and they were served piping hot and fresh. Fluffy, crunchy, and satisfying. Great for early morning before school as they open at 7am everyday and open till 9pm Thurs-Sunday.

This Holey Grail is located on 2nd street in Long Beach. Parking can be a little tough if you are just looking for a place right next to the shop with mostly metered parking available. I'd instead either recommend walking a few blocks over by parking in the neighborhood. Coming in - the staff was so nice in guiding me through the experience! The cake donuts are good. The toppings and flavors are made no order...not the actual donut. Bit over priced.. I mean 16 bucks for 4 mini donuts? Definitely the Over priced ingredient argument. Anyway. They were nice. Good. Not great. I've had Hawaiian donuts in Honolulu at Leonard's bakery. Just didn't taste the same. Or Four sisters in Wailuku.. just didn't feel the Hawaiian connection.

All buck, no bang. No value for your money here. While the donut was alright, the coffee portion is sized for ants. I left feeling underwhelmed and over charged. I?d rather spend my money at one of the many local mom & pop donut shops in Long Beach even if the donut isn?t ?health conscious?. If I want healthy, I?ll eat a banana. Delicious gourmet donuts, always hot, flavors are excellent. I don't really get the confusion on the high prices when most cafes sell $3 crappy muffins and scones. This place is all about high quality and sustainability and I proudly support them for the amazing dessert and their mission. Love all the Hawaiian stuff on sale. I was around the neighborhood and craving a donut. I did a little research and found this place. Unfortunately, it was below average. The donut that I got was a strawberry matcha and the size is smaller than the average donut. The glazing is barely there and they have a weird aftertaste. The price is definitely high for what you get. I have a huge sweet tooth and love donuts but will not be coming back to this location. They are very small very boring donuts. They come warm thats the only reason I gave it a 2. I got 3 flavors. Maple/honey/cookie crumb. I don't know their actual names. They all kinda tasted the same. The maple barely tasted like maple and the honey one was the best but still boring. We really didn't need another bakery on 2nd either. Over kill for sure.

This place was amazing! The flavor, texture, and fluffiness of the donuts for being vegan.. they blew my mind. I tried their fizzy pineapple passion fruit seltzer with cloud foam. It reminded me of a sugarless soda. With all the sweetness of the donuts, you don't need anything else sweet. Gluten-free is difficult to impress, and their GF selection was delicious as well. I can't wait to try everything else.

These donuts are Amaaazing. If you heard the hype, it?s legit. AND the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They graciously hosted just under SIXTY 6 year-olds for a tour and taste and it went seamlessly. That in of itself is a generous feat. Your average donut place that tries to be different. But it's still just donuts.... Given how expensive they are, it's actually VERY underwhelming. 32$ for a 9 pack of EXTREMELY tiny Donuts. They don't even sell a dozen. I say pass and go to DD. You pay a fraction and have equal quality. Also extremely crowded inside. It's not a place to bring friends to chill in the morning. Lots of fake red flag 5 star reviews also if you know how the game works.

The fryer broke down for a bit when we were there but not to worry, the donuts were well worth the wait. We were treated beautifully and given updates about the status of our order from time to time. Holey Grail are our favorite donuts from Hawaii so we were stoked when they first opened on the mainland in SoCal. While we live in the Bay area, we try to stop at a HG when there is one nearby during our SoCal visits. The LB store is a welcome addition. Love the space. It's so bright and airy. Taro donuts cooked in coconut oil. A healthier option! No worry, beef curry!
