Great little donut shop. I got the tasting menu and a latte. I like that they make the donuts fresh to order so they come out hot every time. Out of the four on the tasting menu, the passion fruit was my favorite. I love anything passion fruit and this one had a nice flavor combo. The donuts are vegan, but if they hadn?t mentioned it I wouldn?t have known. The texture and flavor were close to what I?m used to, maybe even a little crispier in a good way. There?s a small seating area outside where you can h

I was on a mission to find some matcha while waiting for my partner to get our burger order from The Win~Dow. Unfortunately, the coffee shop next door didn?t have matcha so I needed to find something quick. I walked by the colorful storefront and noticed the Asian flavored donuts, which immediately had me looking for a drink menu. Lo and behold they had several types of matcha drinks on top of a mocha inspired drink which my partner was looking forward to. The donuts themselves are made out of Taro and made

Absolutely DELICIOUS. I got waffles and sausage for breakfast a little too sweet for me, but it was absolutely delicious. We got a variety of donuts, including the most popular ones and everything was fresh and tasted magnificent. The coffee was good and the presentation of the box and how everything was put together was very classy. I love this place check out the photos, they say everything.

Let's just say it: freshly made donuts hit different, and Holey Grail totally proves that. I'll admit, I was a little curious about their donuts since they use taro flour and are fried in coconut oil. I wasn't sure what to expect! But honestly, you can't even tell the flour is taro. These donuts are seriously delicious. We got to try a few, and here's the rundown: * The Reincarnated was a perfect, classic maple. * The Hail Mary was really interesting with cardamom and rose ? you can definitely taste them, b

The donuts are good, but despite the complex names they all seem to taste the same. The dough is not exactly light, it looks like a cake. I ordered a hot coffee and it came lukewarm. They don't have disposable cutlery.

This donut shop has a great location and a really nice interior. It?s clean, modern, and inviting. It?s definitely the kind of place you?d want to stop by if you?re in the area and craving something sweet. The donuts are unique and clearly made with care. They were a little on the heavier side, and while they were good, they didn?t quite blow me away. Still, the quality is solid and the flavors are interesting enough to make it worth trying. Overall, it was a four-star experience. A great spot to satisfy

Stumbled upon this donut shop while walking down the street and wanted to try it out after hearing good things about it. Ordered one featured donut and one regular donut to try out! Price point was on the higher side, however understandable that it?s made to order and they use premium ingredients. It took quite a while to get our 2 donuts (about 15 minutes) but there was a large group before us so we figured there would be a bit of a wait. The donuts? flavours were so delicate, nicely balanced and not to

Oh my goodness I am so happy with this place, the donuts were amazing! The taste was beyond good. I am a huge fan of taro and definitely gave that texture and let me tell you about the service! ROBBIE and THE PASTRY CHEF! Reminded me what great service looked like which these days is so rare. If you have any catering needs or just popping in definitely go to this one!

Stopped in after grabbing a coffee next door. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, with interesting combinations of toppings. I got a single Original Sin, which was hot (fried to order) and tasty. There wasn't a line, so I think I only waited 3 minutes. Really the only downside is value, at $4 for a pretty small donut, it's not going to fill you up, but these prices are to be expected for The Shore.

This was our first time at Holey Grail Donuts in Long Beach; saw it as we were driving by to breakfast. We ate breakfast down the street and saved room to stop by Holey Grail Donuts after for a treat. We purchased 1 of each donut. (10)So worth it. When we walked in the place was very clean and welcoming. The gentleman at that took our order had amazing customer service. Greeted us with the most amazing smile and joy. That alone would bring me back; but the Donuts were light, fresh and delicious and just s

My first time at this lovely place. The staff were really helpful and kind, helping me make a selection for a vegan first timer! The staff helped me answer questions about freezing the doughnuts and other weird questions I have about random things with patience. We chose the Lilikoi Passionfruit. It was delicious, sweet, yet not overly so, fruity and I felt as if I had definitely had a treat! Great vegan option! Very easy on the digestion, too, as it?s light as well as satisfying.

Food: Is it pricey for donuts? Yes. But the donuts are made with the finest ingredients and made fresh to order. This place is where you go to bring friends and enjoy a delicious rich breakfast. You want to order donuts for your office, prob not the place to go unless willing to spend the money and then for sure the right place to go. My husband dislikes donuts but he had two here. You have to at least go once while visiting here and if you live here? bring friends and family! Service: AMAZING! The two tha

I don't blame any shop especially something like donuts to somehow offer something out of the norm, but at what cost? So here we go, right off the bat, these donuts r delicious but I think they are more like an awesome churro dough combined with a mochinut. It's different, has a great doughy middle with a slight crunch. So now the minuses, they're small, maybe 40% smaller than regular but cost twice as much, all donuts are the same but the toppings are different. So don't expect it to be different like a c

Hawaiian themed drinks and donuts. Unique spot and flavors. Served hot with a soft inside. Crispy outside

SE??Y A???? D??NUTS. customer service was on point. They have a record player. I wonder if they let ppl play music or just decor. My dad ate over and he said it was good. That dude doesn?t even like donuts! LOL That?s saying alot. Def my new ?? shop for life. They have coffee too!

This place is a perfect little donut shop. Definitely fancy donuts versus your run of the mill donut shop with the pink boxes. Donuts are pretty sized for a snack. Not a meal, which is perfect. Flavor profiles are fantastic. Mixing tropical flavors along with that Hawaiian island nod. The taro dough makes the donuts extra crispy. Every donut is made to order. It takes a minute. Worth the wait. While waiting you can enjoy the great music along with the decor. Whoever setup the sound system here knows what t

I love yummy donuts #holeygraildonuts didn?t disappoint me today. The donuts are made to order so they are very tasty and fresh. I also had a iced hawaii vanilla latte a first for me made with macadamia nut milk. So delicious. Live the decor of this place so cute and quaint.

Really pleasant atmosphere and service. Visually appealing to those that like to watch the artists at work (my kids in particular). And most importantly the donuts were decidedly ?Wow!?. Had the snickerdoodle and the vanilla bean glazed and they were served piping hot and fresh. Fluffy, crunchy, and satisfying. Great for early morning before school as they open at 7am everyday and open till 9pm Thurs-Sunday.

This Holey Grail is located on 2nd street in Long Beach. Parking can be a little tough if you are just looking for a place right next to the shop with mostly metered parking available. I'd instead either recommend walking a few blocks over by parking in the neighborhood. Coming in - the staff was so nice in guiding me through the experience! They informed me that the donuts were dairy free and made from taro. And made on the spot in about 5 minutes! I got the tasting box as well as a vanilla latte over ice

The cake donuts are good. The toppings and flavors are made no order...not the actual donut. Bit over priced.. I mean 16 bucks for 4 mini donuts? Definitely the Over priced ingredient argument. Anyway. They were nice. Good. Not great. I've had Hawaiian donuts in Honolulu at Leonard's bakery. Just didn't taste the same. Or Four sisters in Wailuku.. just didn't feel the Hawaiian connection.

Went here for the first time with my family. Delicious and fresh made to order donuts. They were so good and even better knowing they are vegan. Loved the purple haze and pandan paradise donuts.

All buck, no bang. No value for your money here. While the donut was alright, the coffee portion is sized for ants. I left feeling underwhelmed and over charged. I?d rather spend my money at one of the many local mom & pop donut shops in Long Beach even if the donut isn?t ?health conscious?. If I want healthy, I?ll eat a banana. To top it off, they don?t even accept cash. Won?t be back.

I hope they improve their shop air quality bc the smell of fried oil inside the shop was crazy I try it and delicious, great job ??

The best donut I?ve ever had. It is more expensive than most donuts, but you can?t beat the made-to-order freshness. Incredible atmosphere and amazing variety of flavors. Will be back a lot?

Delicious gourmet donuts, always hot, flavors are excellent. I don't really get the confusion on the high prices when most cafes sell $3 crappy muffins and scones. This place is all about high quality and sustainability and I proudly support them for the amazing dessert and their mission. Love all the Hawaiian stuff on sale. Donut holes are amazing, AND gluten free.

These donuts are so good! I can't do a lot of sweets so I just ordered 2 naked donuts and they were amazing. Especially when they're hot and just out the grease.

OH. EM. GEE. The. Donut. Was. So. Delicious. The donuts are made to order. Yes, MADE TO ORDER! Warm, fresh, hot, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the chocolate, omg! So good. So soooo good! Btw, donut + chai latte = $12.

Got delivery. The donuts are exquisite in form and flavor, the best I have ever tasted. Yes, close to a spiritual experience. Wow.

These donuts are actually better than the overrated place called ?Simone Donuts? after coming from the east coast, finding a good donut place was my next main goal and after shopping around and being disappointed many times I came across Holey Grail Donuts, and let me tell you they didn?t disappoint. This is now my favorite Donut place in Long Beach. The donuts have the right amount of sweetness without being too overpowering and that?s what makes it great. Plus they don?t use nasty oils, and instead use c

I was around the neighborhood and craving a donut. I did a little research and found this place. Unfortunately, it was below average. The donut that I got was a strawberry matcha and the size is smaller than the average donut. The glazing is barely there and they have a weird aftertaste. The price is definitely high for what you get. I have a huge sweet tooth and love donuts but will not be coming back to this location. Edit: I eat fresh organic fruits on a daily basis and plenty of natural sugar sweets. I

They are very small very boring donuts. They come warm thats the only reason I gave it a 2. I got 3 flavors. Maple/honey/cookie crumb. I don't know their actual names. They all kinda tasted the same. The maple barely tasted like maple and the honey one was the best but still boring. We really didn't need another bakery on 2nd either. Over kill for sure.

This place was amazing! The flavor, texture, and fluffiness of the donuts for being vegan.. they blew my mind. I tried their fizzy pineapple passion fruit seltzer with cloud foam. It reminded me of a sugarless soda. With all the sweetness of the donuts, you don't need anything else sweet. Gluten-free is difficult to impress, and their GF selection was delicious as well. I can't wait to try everything else.

Cute place. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Donut tastes more doughy than I like. The flavor came through.

These donuts are Amaaazing. If you heard the hype, it?s legit. AND the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They graciously hosted just under SIXTY 6 year-olds for a tour and taste and it went seamlessly. That in of itself is a generous feat. They were wonderful and I can?t recommend the donuts and the staff more. Thank you!

Donuts were tiny and overpriced. Flavor was okay. Donuts were dense. Tasted more like cake than a donut.

Delicious donuts glazed to order. Mine was still hot when I ate it

Your average donut place that tries to be different. But it's still just donuts.... Given how expensive they are, it's actually VERY underwhelming. 32$ for a 9 pack of EXTREMELY tiny Donuts. They don't even sell a dozen. I say pass and go to DD. You pay a fraction and have equal quality. Also extremely crowded inside. It's not a place to bring friends to chill in the morning. Lots of fake red flag 5 star reviews also if you know how the game works.

10/10 donuts, made from incredible ingredients, the texture of the donuts is perfect, soft, with a perfect crunch! Great flavors that taste natural and clean. Robby was so wonderful and kind! Will definitely be back

The fryer broke down for a bit when we were there but not to worry, the donuts were well worth the wait. We were treated beautifully and given updates about the status of our order from time to time. And then we ooo?d and ah?d over the taste once our fresh, hot, delicious treats arrived. Bravo! Holey Donuts. Definitely coming back for more.

Got a chocolate macadamia milk latte. It was a little too sweet/chocolatey for me but still yummy.

Holey Grail are our favorite donuts from Hawaii so we were stoked when they first opened on the mainland in SoCal. While we live in the Bay area, we try to stop at a HG when there is one nearby during our SoCal visits. The LB store is a welcome addition. Love the space. It's so bright and airy. Taro donuts cooked in coconut oil. A healthier option! No worry, beef curry!

This is an absolute must for a fantastic donut experience! So delicious. Flavors are incredible. They use the best ingredients and you can really taste the difference. Worth every penny. It's a place you could visit everyday.

Went here for the first time. Never been a donut/pastry guy in general but man was this good. I went with some co-workers so we got to try a bit of everything. I left with a full belly, prolly one of the best cold brews I?ve had, and an even cooler shirt. Deffinatley worth a visit!

For those of you who have never had donuts made from Taro, a root vegetable, you don't know what you are missing! These donuts are delicious and taste better than your conventional donuts on sugar steroids. The Original Sin and Girl Swirl donuts, are hands down the best ??????

Cool concept of vegan donuts made of taro flour with choice of vegan/non vegan coatings served hot in a fancy box. You can sit inside or outside and watch the world go by while you nibble on your delicious donut.

Stellar shop, Delicious donuts. The fizz drinks are my newest obsession!

The donuts are very good but the coffee is not. It's not consistent from visit to visit and I will likely not return when it's so close to other more consistent options.

So happy to see Holey Grail in LB! My partner and I stopped by two weeks ago while walking along second street and met the owners mom - so sweet and inviting! I?ve been a fan of Holey Grail back when I went last summer in Hawaii! Taro is delicious!! Thank you for bringing a little bit of island life to SoCal!

If you haven't found the Holy Grail, you are missing out! Go NOW!!! Delious, high-quality treats that feed your soul and bring you closer to the magical island! Taro donuts cooked in a coconut oil bath bring you back to Hanalei. Delious, locally sourced ingredients create these works of art. BE SURE TO ENJOY THEM IMMEDIATELY. Pipping hot, for maximum enjoyment! Mahalo Nui Loa for bringing this Kauai treasure to Long Beach!

Amazing fresh taste, quick service, nice area. 4 dollars a donut is on the higher end but it?s worth the try!

Insanely amazing doughnuts! The flavours were so creative and each one was a winner ??

$12 for one donut and a chocolate milk. FFS. I say lose the fancy box and knock off $1.50 from the donut. $7 for chocolate milk? Get dairymade? It?s Second street in Long Beach, not Rodeo drive. Sorry.

The rose cardamom top flavor was very good, but there was an aftertaste that lingered in all the donuts. maybe it was burnt oil or butter? i?ll give it another chance - maybe it was that day

Terrible, extremely salty donuts and poor customer service. I won't be paying them five dollars for one donut again. They tasted horrible. How can you go wrong on a donut. ??

Great Place. The donut are old fashioned like a know them as kid in Europe. Try them without glace first to taste the quality

Definitely the best donuts I ever had. I actually never seen a shop that makes it fresh right in front of you. Really tasty!

Taro based doughnuts all plant based yum yum to order....CHECK OUT THE ONE IN LONG BEACH ON 2ND

Super friendly staff, Daniel helped me, The donuts are amazing! Come by check them out!

Delicious unique donuts and friendly staff!

Love the classic donuts! So buttery, sweet and salty!

Love that they brought this place from Hanalei to Belmont.

The best donuts?? #1??

Incredible donuts. So good.

A must stop when in Long Beach!
