Customer Reviews

In my experience here, some days can have a lot of people in there. Have not a had a bad item from here yet. My top go tos are the jelly or creme filled. Followed by maple and chocolate bars. They also have blended coffee drinks, ice cream, pastries, croissant sandwiches. If they had delivery, I would be getting an order a week. I gotta try the holes next. They never last long enough for me to remember to take photos. Next time.

If you like supporting amazing local businesses, this would be the spot to get your breakfast donuts! The shop owner was very friendly as she told us about all the fun donuts that were made. Big portioned donuts and cheap prices make this place a go to place before heading out to the mountains or whatever day trip you plan on hitting!

I live in Bishop and raised my five children here. When they all come back to visit, Hing's donuts are still a special treat and a special memory of their childhood here.

This place is the bomb! The donuts and pastries are all excellent and made fresh daily. He also offers a breakfast menu which include a croissant with egg in your pick of sausage ,bacon ,cheese and pepperoni they are very good. Fresh coffee, orange juice apple juice and milk. Hing?s Open at 5 o?clock in the morning. I?m working here at the Bishop airport, I?m from out of town and staying in a hotel and I?ve been by here three mornings just to get their breakfast fill it?s really good.

Donut shop is located on the north side of Main Street in Bishop. The staff was friendly and the donut case was stocked well in the early afternoon. There was a good variety of old time favorites. Old fashioned, bars, glazed, and cake donuts. The donuts were fresh and tasted good.

Almost always stop in here on the way the Mammoth. I like to drive you Mammoth over night so this place is usually just opening as I'm passing by. I'll grab a Starbucks next door and some donuts from here. The prices have definitely gone up significantly over the years, but I guess everywhere has. Pretty rural spot so the pickings are slim. I got a burrito and some donuts and spent like $12. The burrito wasn't really worth it. Either way, I'll probably still continue to stop by for donuts here whenever I'm

I heard a local guy making his buddy get the ham and cheese croissant, so I got one too. Winner! The French cruller holes are great, and the cake donut too. I'll be back if I go this way out of Cali

Best donuts in 300 miles always have been and always will be. Same goes for the ham and cheese croissant and the origional Dr. Pepper fountain drink dispenser moved from the origional location to the current one! Hardest working husband and wife duo possibly anywhere!! If you haven't stopped in you owe it to yourself to make the stop even though the parking is a little tighter than it was at the cottonwood plaza.

I love the warm jalape?o cheese and ham croissant. Their service is great and they always have a great attitude. I bless their business in Jesus name. May they always be business. ??????

Best apple fritter I've ever tasted! I brought one home to Oregon for my family to taste and they were still amazing the next day. The ham, cheese, and jalape?o croissant was also excellent.

If you have a minute to run away from the tourist trap of Schat?s Bakery with your fresh squeezed orange juice in hand, you?ll find this gem tucked next to Starbucks a few blocks or so away. The ham and cheese croissants are melt in your mouth awesome and resemble the European delicacy far better than what you found down the street. They of course have donuts and do those well. But the star is their large, filled, square croissant. So delicious.

Everything about Hing's Donuts is superb! First and foremost the owner is the most consistently professional, compassionate and caring person, I have ever met in a small food place of business! They truly care about, and 100% cater to their customer's need and wants! Not only that, but the donuts, croissant's and just everything, is so fresh and great tasting. Never ever dry, old, or greasy like many other places we have tried. If My Pop's knows I'm going to Bishop he gets me to ALWAYS bring back not just o

Review of the Boston Creme donut. You should skip it unless you like a custard which tastes more like a lemon curd. The donut texture was fine, chocolate outside flavoring was good, but the custard tasted more like a lemon flavor. Not really that yellow egg custard.

I LOVE Hing's Donuts!! They have a true variety of donuts with cake and glazed. But what I enjoy most are their cake donuts. Their glazed donuts are tough to beat but their cake donuts are exquisite, almost a delicacy. You can't go wrong by going here!

Their cruellers ($3.60/ a dozen) are insanely yummy. The people have been kind and prompt every time I've been in. They also have yummy lunch foods like cheese and meat croissants. Feeling way too grateful that this place is one block from my office. Great Basin and Pupfish have some competition in town!

I bought 2 breakfast croissant sandwiches and a spiral raisin donut. It came out to be $14. We took them to-go and ate them in the car only to find everything was stale and the ham smelled off. The donut was wrapped in glad-wrap in the display which made me wonder if they keep the day-olds for resale. If you can't deliver non-stale donuts and pastries, you shouldn't be in business as a donut shop.

Very high quality. I'm picky and I don't think these could be any better. Perfection

Great Donuts, but the owner lady (apparently Chines or some Asian looking) is very rude. You ask her any question about the donuts, she wud stare at you as if you are dumb. I am local resident and went to this store multiple times, but stopped going there after bad customer services on 2 occasions, and both times the same lady.

Great donuts run by the same family for a very long time in Bishop. Always reliable and always delicious. Surprisingly better than Schat's donuts to be sure, and priced better as well.

Hing's is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!! Search the world over and you'll never find a donut as good as Hing's!! Kim is the BEST!!! Great prices for a great product! I just can't say enough, it is a must try place when in Bishop.

I had a similar experience with rudeness, pretty much blew her mind when I told her how wonderful her donuts were in Tagalog. She was sweet as pie after that. What's the rule our parents taught us? Treat folks how you want to be treated, I weird...

This is THE place to get the most amazing APPLE FRITTER. I swear, it weights 2 lbs. Go for the deep fried one, though they also offer a baked one. The deep fried is crispier. I am an apple fritter seeker where ever I go, and this guy hit a home run. Can't wait to go back!

Went to get donuts and was only person in line, someone else came in and they waited on them. Completely ignored me and helped them. Never helped me so I left.

Thoroughly enjoyed my apple fritter from Hing's Donuts. The smell as you walk into the place reminded me of my favorite childhood donut shot. I knew it was going to be good & was not disappointed.

The best donuts ever! ??

Have you tried the apple fritters yet, my goodness theyre good. What are you doing reading this review? Go get one, you know you want it. While youre there try out their new and extremely good ham and cheese croissants

Hey... the 1960s called and they want their ice cream back. Seriously, how old is the stuff you served me?? I should have known when the employee had to chip at it that it wasnt ok... and then 8 dollars?!?! Wow... old as dirt ice cream with less flavor then dirt.

Good donut and coffee for a morning sugar high.

Legit doughnuts. Run by a very sweet local family. Very reasonably priced. Need I say more?

I've had donuts all over the world, and Hing's are as good as any, perhaps better than any I've ever had-- and they're open early.

Absolutely love this place. I was going to the Starbucks next door and after trying their coffee boba I have made this place my new daily spot.
