We stopped by on the way out of town. The owner is very friendly and the facility spotless. We had glazed and plane donuts along with sausage croissant and chocolate twist. All items tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely be by again when we are in town.
FRESH FOOD...FRIENDLY STAFF...CLEAN PLACE. This was our first time visiting here and we thought they might have a lunch menu. They don't really, but the owner/operator made me up a fresh bacon, egg, cheese croissant. My wife got a pig-in-the-blanket. We also got an apple fritter and an eclair. The owner threw in a glazed doughnut. We got all this and two bottles of water for about $14.00. The quality of the food was better than average but don't expect fine pastry. We will be going back from time-to
Without a doubt my FAVORITE place for donuts. I try to get her donuts at least once a week, a personal treat (although i shouldn't) and I just cant resist them. She knows how to make ALL customers welcome and happy. She is TRUELY a local treasure.
Clean fryer and quality dough and fresh product! Environment inside was inviting and so clean. A great company with large donuts! Bacon egg and cheese croissant was great even though we came later in the day. Thank you for providing sincere service, good food, and being so welcoming to us!
The kolache and apple fritter we?re outstanding. The donuts were light, fluffy and fresh too. Friendly service too. 10/10 would try again.

These donuts were fresh and delicious. It's clear that they are using fresh clean oil for frying them. The shop was clean and the woman working there was kind, helpful, and threw in an extra donut which was very sweet. We're on a road trip and this was the best donut and kolaches we've had anywhere in Texas. The coffee is hot and flavorful without being burned or bitter. Well done.

My friend and I on occasion stop at this place before going to Spider Mountain Bike Park. The owner (I'm assuming) is ALWAYS FRIENDLY. The donuts are always fresh. On occasion, I'll go next door and grab a breakfast taco while my bud eats a donut there. I'll walk in, sit down and eat a taco while he eats a donut. Even though I feel self-conscious about eating a gas station taco there, she always smiles and says hello. She still makes me feel at home.
We have been coming here more often. The donuts are always fluffy and amazing. Service is always friendly and quick.
If you like Apple fritters, this is THE place. One of these and you will forget Gudes exists.I thought the Amish bakery in Harlan Indiana had the best fritter in the country, but I may be wrong. Get there early. They go fast! The lady that runs it is as sweet as her pastries!
Hillside Donuts is where we always stop Sunday mornings on the way out of town after a weekend at Spider Mountain. Super friendly, and gotta love those big cheesy kolaches!

Shop was very easy to get to after long weekend of camping. kolaches were hot, coffee was delicious, and they even threw in an extra donut for us! Very clean and sweet shop
