Fantastic donut shop! Extra large kolaches made with German sausage Bear claw and apple fritter with extra filling. Amazing!

The best kolaches I had been trying! Highly recommend trying them, specially the sausage and cheese with jalape?o one. The iced caramel machiato ???????? was my happiness that day. The personal who attended this place were super friendly and attentive.

Good donut holes and kolaches! The service is very friendly. While they don?t offer a military discount like other shops nearby do, the cashier very kindly threw in a few donut holes with the kolaches I ordered. I would suggest going for quick breakfast.

We stopped in at 12 noon but only a couple donuts and apple fritters were left, but they had sausage and cheese kolaches with jalapeno, ham and cheese and sausage kolaches! They were great! And they made us cold brew w/cold foam and frapp?s.

I was trying to find a good place for donuts and I found it. Sweet odins beard this place was so dam good. I have never had donuts this soft and full of flavor. Even after a few days the donuts were still very soft and just as delicious. My kids devoured the pink and blue donuts and I stuffed my face with the cherry filled donut. We also had the kolaches and the regular one were our favorite. It was good cold but once they warmed it up for me the kolache burst into my mouth a whole new flavor. I will never

Great kolaches and cinnamon roll, but the best part is the service. I'm guessing the lady who served us is an owner, but I'm not certain. She was very helpful and had the biggest smile. For an added bonus, the price is great.

Family owned business, Great Service , Kelaches to die for, awesome coffee as well, topped off with donuts and bear claws! We had a family group of 10 and we had a complicated order and it was filled in about 4 minutes!

If you are in area, this place is a must. The doughnuts and confections are huge and comparatively inexpensive, but most importantly, absolutely delicious. The place to go if you want a filling inexpensive delicious breakfast. They even have breakfast tacos! If you are traveling on a motorcycle or you are on road trip, this place is must visit culinary gem.

The cute little couple that runs this are very hard workers and hustle! We stopped in town for a quick bite before we hit the road. Breakfast tacos stuck to their wax paper which made them hard to eat. The kolache was delicious. My son enjoyed the lemon filled donut and Bavarian Long Johns. I watched them prepare a variety of complicated coffee orders which was a surprise to me since I figured they just served simple stuff!!

I look at this photo periodically and can?t wait to go back to Fredericksburg to get the jelly donuts again! Next time we?re ordering a dozen. The raspberry filled donut was delicious! We ordered two and looked in the bag and Hill Country Donuts had added donut holes too. They were glazed and delicious! The coffee was fresh and tasty too.

Skip any sort of kolache here. Some sort of nasty coconut ?? in the cream cheese. ?Square? slice of spam as ?ham?, a hot dog ?? in place of sausage in the alleged ?jalape?o? ?sausage? and cheese. Just wrong. Stomach hurts.

Cannot believe we forgot the picture but it was one of the best donuts we have had. Soft and fluffy, not overly sweet, and not greasy at all. The kolaches are also well made with fillings evenly wrapped inside the dough. Wish we bought more!

The food was amazing, the hot chocolate was the best I've had from a restaurant/shop. The white chocolate mocha was incredible. The people behind the register were very nice. The decor was adorable. If I could I would've rated it higher.

We needed a quick and filling breakfast that we could take on the road to Enchanted Rock, so we found this place and figured we'd get a couple of breakfast sandwiches. We got one bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, one ham, egg, and cheese croissant, one blueberry cream cheese kolache, one cream cheese kolache, and a plain glazed donut. The sandwiches were among the best quick breakfast sandwiches we'd had, but the star of the show was the plain glazed donut. It was legit one of the BEST donuts I'd ever had.

I?m visiting Fredericksburg currently and stopped at this place on my way out of town. Thanks goodness I did, service was great and I had an amazing lemon filled Bavarian donut. The coffee was good as well and I left feeling satisfied, will come here again if I ever return to the area.

Highly recommend! What a great find! There?s a reason they are so busy. Kolache is a must try, the bread is so light and tasty. One of the best we ever tried. The croissant is flaky delicious, and the donuts are also great. Will definitely be back!

Go early for best selection and availability. It's a cute place, friendly people and tasty donuts. We love the biggest Twist donut and their big Apple pastry. Our favorite is their ham and Jalepeno Kolaches are fabulous for breakfast! They have other varties. You'll be a fan too!

Mandatory stop on all our family road-trips. The lady in the mornings is incredibly kind and always throws in a free sweet with our order. Though the breakfast croissants are the best thing on the menu, everything is delicious here.

Great little shop for donuts and kolaches. The team is fast and very efficient to help get you on and out. We love the jalapeno kolaches with just the right hint of heat but still goes well with your coffee. No photos as these were so good they didn't even last long enough for a photo. Great service.... I was there before sunup and they had full selection of fresh, hot breakfast pastries. The sausage croissant and ham-egg-n-cheese croissant were exceptional and the ladies were incredibly sweet! They made our baby giggle and they gave her 2 donut holes, which made her day??It was a great way to start our early stroll by the Museums ??

Wow! Best blueberry cake donut, hands down. We also got a croissant, kolache, and a cinnamon twist donut with sugar on top. They snuck in a couple donut holes for free too! The workers were so sweet and smiley!

Wow. Best kolaches I can remember having. Get both sweet and savory. Their donuts are so good they will ruin all the major donut chain offerings for you. Also, the apple fritter was as big as a Frisbee. Went back the next morning. Very sweet ladies working the window too.

Fantastic find for a quick breakfast. Ham/cheese/jalape?o kolache was great! Could eat three a day. Glazed donut was ok and met my spicy- to-sweet fix. They went the extra mile and threw a donut hole in. Plenty of friendly people working, so a line never built up. You can get everything heated up if you want! Had a really good average cup of black coffee...great way to kick off the day!

The donuts are some of the best around and you can't go wrong with any of them. Kolaches are made with light, fluffy and sweet tasting bread. I love the sausage, cheese, and jalapeno combo but you can't go wrong with any of them here either .

Very nice people. Very busy . Unfortunately, kolache dough not cooked all the way and the apple fritter tasted like it had been cooked in old oil . Will try them again , someday .

Very good sausage and cheese kolaches. Chocolate sprinkle donuts good as well. Located near the end of Main Street, but easy to find and easy to access. There is ample seating inside and outside. Great selection of pastries and donuts, so you can feed a big group or the family and satisfy everyone without spending a lot of money. Try one of the large selection of donuts, but the cream cheese kolaches are very good.

This is probably the best donut place in the hill country area, surrounding San Antonio. My husband and I crave their LARGE jalapeno cheese kolaches, which is actually made with opa sausage, made right down the street. Everything in here is magical for the taste buds. The owners and employees are amazing and have always greeted us with appreciation. You won't regret your visit and your taste buds will thank you.

This is just about the only place to get breakfast at 6 am in Fredericksburg. The staff is friendly and the jumbo kolaches are made with opas sausage. Its a bit pricy and the coffee is kinda bad but its not a dissatisfying option in the least.

Very friendly servers. Parking lot us very small, suggest you park in bank lot next door; a lot of people use the drive threw and the long line blocks you in if you park in their lot.

First off I want to thank the owners for being open on Christmas Day. You didn't have to be but the line out the door and the drive thru definitely shows that others appreciated it too. We don't live in Fredricksburg but always make a point to stop here for breakfast when passing through town. The women who run the restaurant are extremely kind and gracious. Some of the best donuts you'll find in the Hill country :)

Melt in your mouth goodness found here!!! The doughnuts and kolaches are awesome. Go for the full size kolache and you won't regret it. The smaller ones have just a hot dog rather than a sausage inside. Also, the apple fritter is fritastic!!! So rich and tasty. Buttermilk doughnut was also yummy. The owner here is super friendly. He chatted us up and even gave us some donut holes to try. That being said, we went twice in two days here. Try it out!

We ordered cream cheese kolaches, a couple of fruit kolaches, and a couple of sausage kolaches, along with some coffee. The dough was perfect; soft, pillows, and slightly sweet. The sweet kolaches had plenty of tasty filling, and the sausage is very good sausage from a local sausage shop. We were all very happy with our order. We had ham/cheese/jalape?o klobasnik, sausage/cheese/jalape?o klobasnik, donut holes, an apple fritter, and a cream cheese kolach. They were all 5/5 delicious! The apple fritter is giant and needs 3 people to eat it! Friendly and fast service, definitely will be making this stop again!

Visited Fredericksburg, Texas, in July 2021 and stopped by Hill Country Donuts. AWESOME kolaches, great Texas-sized apple fritters and and breakfast croissants. Staff was wonderful! Definitely worth the visit!

Friendly service with enjoyable donuts and kolaches. Apparently only the kolaches with the large sausages are made in town (sausage that is). Their large sausage, cheese, and jalape?o kolache is very savory with just the right amount of spice. Their blueberry cake donut is pretty decent, but I prefer their old-fashioned chocolate glazed donut. Both are not oily, but I prefer the crisper edges of old-fashioned over the denser cake.

Be there early. Nothing beats a freshly made donut. The kolaches are plentiful and worth a try. The breakfast croissants are a must-have.
