What a wonderful experience! As a 70-something adult to have the ablility to interact with farm animals was a joy. I got to hold a baby goat and pet many goats and say hi to lovely equines. I grew up with horses so I loved petting the horses. But I really enjoyed the goats! One young goat and I hung on a bench for about 20 minutes as I was petting her. Who gets to do that?? A very good selection of homemade baked goods at the food store and a lot of unique. Interesting things at the woodworking leather store next door. Haven't had a chance to try all the baked goods I bought that's so far what I have is excellent. Hope to go again soon. Just a little far for an everyday trip.

Expanded their animal Barn which was much needed! Lots and lots of baby animals! When we were leaving around 4:00 p.m. they let the animals out to pasture and they were all running kicking up their feet so happy to be out of there! They've been cooped up all day in those little pens! Horses with babies, big cows wanting out especially the Highlander! The longhorn looked sad and depressed inside the minute he got out he was running like crazy! Cows and calves kicking up their feet! Surely was a sight to see!

This is one of my daughters favorite places. She loves getting to pet and feed the animals. The jarred veggies, kettle corn, and baked goods are always a great treat as well. A favorite for me is the leather shop. I get new steer hide belt every couple years from here. I have a small collection of their Damascus Steel knives as well.

Everything here was awesome! Very authentic and not commercialized! The petting zoo was great and had tons of animals! the donuts in bakery were great, the homemade ice cream sundae was excellent, the sweet corn we bought and took home was delicious also. This petting zoo is awesome! Took my daughter for the first time and she loved it. So many animals and we'll worth the money for sure. Great experience, especially if you have little ones. They offer pony and horse rides as well as buggy rides also. We tried the food too from the food truck and it was good as well. Food prices were about the same as everywhere else but food was fresh and and worth the try. If you're in the area, especially if you have little ones stop in and check it out

Absolutely the most amazing way to spend a few hours with friends and family. No better time to go than early October as the trees are changing colors ?? and the pumpkins sit arranged in the most beautiful displays. The bakery and store have lots of great options. Donuts were very good. Took a buggy ride for $9 a person. There?s also a petting zoo for $8 a person. Lots to do here.

Hershberger's Farm Market and Bakery is 100% Amish Family owned and operated. The Bakery food will make your taste buds sing like church bells. The Hershberger Food Truck has the best breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers in the USA! The Hershberger Family treats all their customers like family. We like this place. They have animals you can hang out with and feed but you pay to do so ?? I still think it's funny to pay to feed someone else's animals. There is a small grocery store and another store with some cool stuff, I think most is locally made. They have a spot to eat hot food, ice cream, kettle corn. Seems like a good selection. Places to sit outside, some covered. It does get crowded but we never had a problem with so much area and things to see. Some of the parking lot is gravel.

Great place for buggy rides, petting farm, shopping for gifts, and grocery shopping. They have a food cart with sandwiches, salads, sides, appetizers, freshly cooked kettle corn, and believe it an ice cream stand. There's restrooms and tables under cover for you to sit and eat all your goodies. My reason to stop was so my sister could see Big Ben, the Beligan 19 foot tall horse. A wonderful place to visit whether alone, as a couple, with family or a large group. So many animals. The petting area was well worth the 6 dollar (adult) admission. A large agri-entertainment facility with a petting area (closed during our visit), a farm store and a bakery. The baked goods were, well "good" comes to mind. We bought a couple cream sticks and asked for 2 coffee to wash them down but they ran out of coffee. Everything we saw here was good. But everything we saw we had seen in two or three other places. Fun for the entire family. Feeding animals is terrific kids always have a blast. Kettle corn is great, and choices in the grocery store terrific, chilled iced cider really good. Craft section is a good visit with a lot of leather, wood and metal. Craftsmanship is very nice.

The peaches were amazing and can see them making your kettle cooked potato chips. All the baby animal definitely makes the trip worth it. There is so many options of bread, cheeses, snacks and meats.

Nice gift shop especially if you are looking for a new hat, leather wallet, leather purse, leather belt, or pocket knives. Market is nice. Little bakery area. We have enjoyed coming here a few times a year. It's great to bring the kids, grandparents, cousins, family, friends. I get the Hershberger burger almost every single time. It's a burger with a sausage patty and I can't get enough, lol. The petting area is always a great attraction because the kids can feed the animals. The produce and bakery goods are always excellent.

You definitely do not want to miss this place when you go. Very large animal barns. You can hand feed all the animals. I won't lie, it's not cheap but worth every penny. Their store has locally hand made bags and belts. Both of those items are made out of saddle leather, and they guarantee them for life. I bought my belt 7 years ago and still not one crack in the leather.

We live stopping here when we are in Berlin. We get a kick out of watching the kids with the animals. The food is good but a bit expensive for a food truck We had a hot dog ( it was premium hot dog) two orders of mozzarella sticks and a locally sourced Angus burger and it cost about $28. Overall we still like it here.

We make it a point to always visit Hershberger's while we are in the area. They have the best homemade carmels we've ever tasted! Don't leave without trying them. Baked goods are very tasty too, and the selection is good. Sometimes we walk through the Animal Petting Area. I love to spend time going through!

Took my niece and nephew here and they had a blast! Petting all the baby goats, sheep, and feeding carrots to the horses. Definitely a great place to take your Littles! The bakery is very nice with a good selection of delicious items!

It's a very cute store with quite a lot of food available. Their donuts and fry pies are delicious. They have a gift shop that carries everything from knives to leather goods to furniture and decor. There is a petting zoo on site as well. Lots to see and do!

We visited this farm and bakery last Saturday. I recommend going in the bakery first getting your treats and eating them before going over to the animal exhibit. The bakery was very good clean and oh my gosh the sweets from there were divine. We had cream sticks my son had a large donut. I wanted a fry pie but though today I'll get Creamsticks. Lovely set of Amish shops and attractions. The line of food stalls along the market really helped drive that community market feel, too. Lots to do if you come with any little ones: carriage rides, petting zoos, lots of sweets. Personally, I enjoyed the selection of fry pies and leather goods. Lots of animals and horse rides during season, and little digging machines for the kids to play with. Able to go during the winter. It is enclosed but not heated. It's warmer than outside though. Good place to go all around.

They need to have rules for the petting zoo and enforce them. Every time I go I see their ducklings, chicks, baby bunnies, and piglets getting picked up out of their enclosures and literally THROWN by customers. People let their kids pick up babies and run around with them and drop them on the ground like they?re trash. Employees don?t even care or acknowledge that the baby animals are being nearly stepped on and killed every three seconds. Parents hand their kids piglets for a picture as the piglets scream

My kids loved this place. It was their favorite part of our 2 week vacation to Niagara Falls and Ohio. The breakfast sandwiches we had were really good, and we had lots of fun at the petting zoo.

Love all of the animals. It's always fun to feed the animals and pet the babies. We also went on the Amish buggy ride. The store has produce, bakery goods, chocolate and many other items. Love watching them make kettle corn over the fire. The iron works, leather, and wooden item store has some really nice items. There is also a food trailer to buy lunch.

July 2019- still a great place to visit. The petting zoo is no longer free is $3 a person. It wouldn't be so bad if it included a little cone of food or maybe a thing if carrots for a family to share. To me not worth it. I had never been to an Amish farm or store and it was pretty cool. My only problem is that alot of the items that weren't food were a bit more expensive than I think they should be. They can say its because its handmade but I don't think that should make it almost twice the price. The people were somewhat friendly and the food was pretty good. Them not wearing mask thing is the dumbest thing I saw. They lost a bit of respect from me there. In the photos there is probably the best carrot cake I have ever had

Great place to go for people who love animals. $3 gets an all day pass... $10 will buy enough for food 2 people to feed the animals thru petting area. I love the authenticity here. I didn't try the food on site, but I've had it before and it's incredible. There's a small restaurant, food truck type, an amazing Amish bakery with fresh produce and other goods available. Also, there's a small shop for yard things and leather work. Check this place out. Definitely worth it!

I love taking my kids here. My kids love being able to see the animals and feed them. The produce here is excellent!! They have all kinds of baked goods. The kettle popcorn is amazing! I don't even honestly care for popcorn but wow. It's so good i ate about two handfuls. We had a quick bite here too. The hamburgers were freaking delicious. And that's also something I typically don't eat. But wow. Exactly how hamburger is supposed to taste.(like they used to when i was a kid) Great family atmosphere !!

We had a great time with the animals, the people were fantastic, and it was a great price at just $3 per person. We even got to feed them carrots and there were some free roaming animals as well.

We love this farm market and store. Next time i will take my grandkids. The bakery is amazing. If you buy any breads, make sure you don't leave without a roll of butter, jelly, and a block of cheese. All homemade. I could go on and on about this place.

I'm a Amish junkie! I read all the books, so when we were in the area I had to stop. Very busy, great produce, baked goods and I went for a buggy ride!

This place is fantastic. They have several barns with animals as well as a large loop where animals are in pasture. You can hand feed every animal! We spent several hours there and then went to the store for some shopping. This is a very cheap attraction for the amount of time you can spend visiting. We will be going back the next time we make the trip.

Stopped in during our three day trip to Amish Country and we all enjoyed it. From the petting zoo, horse rides, buggy rides and local Amish market, there is something for everyone. We were amazed at the big horse raised right there on the farm that weighs over 3,000 pounds. Being able to stand so close to animals like the longhorn steer and llama was also awesome. Authentic Amish made goods and bulk food. I would highly recommend this store/ compound for your Amish bakery and goods. It has multiple areas to shope for food or woodwork collectibles. It also has a petting zoo.

I'm not a fan of paying to get into pet your animals and also paying extra for your food to feed them. Many of the animals seemed sad to me. One goat had given birth to two little ones and was still laying in the after-birth. It seemed neglectful.

This is always a neat place to visit. From the "general store" to the produce/bakery store to the "petting zoo", there is something for everyone. My wife and I took an Amish buggy ride, courtesy of Abe (the driver), who was very nice, and shared many details about the area with us. Highly recommended.

One of the biggest attractions of the town. Be prepare to spend good amount of hours because there is a lot to do, see and eat. All age group will enjoy here. Food is good as well. When visiting Amish Country in Ohio, Hersherger?s Farm and Bakery is always a great stop for all ages. It has been fun to watch the changes they have made to the place through the years. In addition to being a farm and bakery, there is a country craft store, a concession stand, and a petting zoo with a small fee for the kids. And, if you walk behind the craft store, you can also check out the farm?s work horses.

We have never had to throw out food before. But we bought 3 pies and 2 fruitcake. Horrible couldn?t eat one piece, had to throw them all out. I don?t believe the Amish made any of these items themselves, if they did they should be ashamed to call themselves Amish. The Amish done went commercialized and suck at baking anymore.
