Spring Donut Day rules! Grab some flowers for good measure! (No photo was taken of the apple fritters, they were eaten too fast!)
Very good local farm market. I was very impressed the last time I was there. They have stepped up their game again this year. The fresh produce blew me away. Something new? Try their bacon Ketchup.
We bought a ?Herman?s pie? and to be honest it was one of the worst pies I?ve had in a while. So disappointed in this as we thought it was supposed to be good. Not going back. Sorry this was not even close to a pie
Today I bought a homemade apple pie and both my husband and I agreed that it was excellent. The fried cakes have a delicate crust on the outside and a moist cake inside. The broccoli and cauliflower are big and beautiful. Not to mention the huge variety of local products.
Good alternative to the larger, busier fall farmstand shops. Good selection of produce, apples, and donuts. Wonderful carving pumpkins for best prices I've seen (flat rate, not by weight!)
I recently found this little gem on the way to my daughter's new home. They have the BEST peaches, and their salsas are amazing. They don't have a big selection, but it's not about quantity...it's about quality. Their tomatoes are also some of the freshest I've eaten. I'm so happy I found Herman's and look forward to frequenting this cute & quaint farm market.
A local farm market with a new flair. The owners have added so many new products. Just finished a burger made with the ground beef they carry. I've never hand one this good. The flavor and texture is far above any I've had elsewhere. Sweet corn is a must during the season and when fall comes cider and fry cakes will be on my list. From fresh fruits and vegetables to a special sauce or a frozen or baked pie take the time to stop in. You never know you might run into a neighbor there.
Herman's has fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as home made jams, tomato sauce and salsas, fresh baked loaves of fruit and spice breads, cookies and pies, cold items, donuts, cider and coffee to go. I love this little farm market!
Herman's is adding more and more things to the market. It used to be a simple market, but now there is a lot of wonderful food. A lot of wonderful things to bring home. The pies are not quite as good as they used to be but they are good
There wasn't as much for Christmas as there was last year but they still have plenty of apples for you're Christmas Cooking. Also the people are very helpful and friendly
Best donuts in all of Rochester. Cannot say enough good things about the donuts! We drive from Boston, MA for this place. Love the grape pies, produce, & the apple cider. The employees are very nice & professional. Thank you for everything!!

Loved this place, especially their apple cider.. until I noticed I was having stomach upset and not feeling well. Stopped drinking the cider for a bit wondering if this could be the culprit. Then a week later I found I was craving cider again, so I came in to buy 3 gallons for $18. So far, 2 gallons in and both gallon bottles swelled up and hissed once opened within 48 hours. Extremely concerning as they are supposed to be pasteurized... made the mistake of testing it after opening the swollen bottle and it
Since we discovered Herman's, hubby and I don't get our apples anywhere else, now. There are two varieties which we love...and I am just selfish enough to not name them here because when they're gone, they're gone! You will just have to try them out yourself to find your favorite!! Aside from apples, they sell locally made and sourced goods; roasted coffee, preserves, salsas, vegetables, plants and flowers as well as donuts and other baked goods. Oh yeah...and hubby LOVES this spicy cheese they carry, too.
I love everything there, their Herman's pickles are the best. And every plant I have gotten there has been very healthy. PS their donuts of the bomb. Just saying.
I have been going here for 40 years, my mom always went here and now I do too! All the fruits and veggies are delicious, the flowers are great, staff is wonderful, owners are sweet as can be! We walk here also like 2x a week in the summer for homemade plushies!!

We left Herman's Farm Market with 4 bags if different types of apples and some super tasty light colored honey. The apple fritters were not as fresh - maybe not made on site??
Love stopping at Herman's farm market, great family! Fresh seasonal produce and at a reasonable price. Maybe a little higher than the big grocery stores but this is fresh from their farm daily. When in season.. sweetcorn, peaches, strawberries, cherries, apples, blueberries and other fruits & veggies. In the fall the fresh hot fried cakes with freshly pressed cider..omg delicious! Stop in, won't be disappointed!
While travelling in this area for business, I drove past the Market and decided that a couple of donuts and apple cider sounded like a perfect lunch. I'm so glad I stopped - the cider and donuts were delicious and the folks were so friendly. The market was clean and well-stocked. I'm looking forward to another reason to visit the area again!
My family and I have been on a "Donut Quest" this year to try all the local farm markets and Herman's is our favorite by far! It was our first time going and we've discovered that this place is a hidden gem. It is small but mighty and had our favorite donuts in Rochester (!) so far! It's a small place but very charming. They had a small selection of produce, homemade cider, and many desserts. We purchased 2 pumpkin donuts (with cinnamon sugar) and a chocolate topped one for our son! 10/10 on these donuts! T
Best apple cider there is. Not watered down like some other places. No better place for cider!
I love the cider!! The doughnuts were wonderful also. Not to mention cookies and fruit!! The fruit is wonderful in the summer!

Great place to buy vegetable plants for your garden. I've been coming here for 5 years. Same plants as other places but half the price. They have fruits, veggies, flowers, fertilizers, soil, etc. Prices are a little higher than lowes but this is a local place.
Has a great selection of fruits and vegetables and the prices are very really good ... $1.99 kb for red peppers !!! Also a beautiful array and sale if Mum's, 3 for $15 or $4.99 each !!! Best corn EVER. Love taking a ride out to Herman's for fresh produce and homemade pies and doughnuts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Easy to find. Excellent selection of local fruits and vegetables as well as "imports" from other areas. Staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It is a pleasant diversion from the supermarket produce department.
Love Herman's. Unfortunately, a late storm ruined the Macoun apples harvest. They have the best Macouns.

Loved the variety of apples, and the honey crisp cider was awesome (their Honey crisp apples were the best).
Some of the items were old and needed to be discarded. They didn't have a great selection. Hopefully, as we get into harvesting time that will improve.
The food is only 1/2 the experience. The 2 ladies working here that we spoke with were uninterested and one was rude the other was eating at the register and we were in the way even though we spent over $40...so there are other markets we will shop at
