Y?all need to do yourself a favor and stop by Heritage for some of the best donuts around! They offer a wide variety of flavors, and these donuts are so soft and fluffy. Always fresh, these are a hit whenever I bring them for an event. And the staff is super sweet too!

I finally talked myself into stopping here my last day in town. The donuts were really soft and the one I got filled was a decent amount. I only tried the blueberry and the glazed lemon filled one and brought the rest back home the next day. They were all still good except the cereal topped one (but thats expected with cereal). I was greeted as I walked in and was immediately being helped. I went in about 9am on a Friday and there was still a huge selection.

Such great donuts ??%! ?? This is my family's favorite place now to get donuts for anytime, not just breakfast! ?? My new favorite flavor is their crumb cake (I think that is what it is called??)! This is definitely one of the best donuts shops in the region. I will say they are big sized and sit on the more heavier side in terms of density. On this particular style they are definitely 5 stars. All fillings are made to order and you can choose the flavor. They are pricy but they are worth it. I will say that you can get better glazed donuts elsewhere, but the filled and flavored ones are unbeatable.

INCREDIBLE donuts. Like genuinely top tier, best donut I?ve ever had. The blueberry donut is so soft it literally melts in your mouth. They have such a soft and delicate dough. We love Heritage Donuts. My daughter is a donut connoisseur, and she prefers HD over anything. They are huge and soft and delicious! We?ve eaten them at the tables in the shop, taken them home to eat, and have called them in to pick up the following morning. Softest donuts in NC. We have gotten many donuts at a time and they never disappoint. They went above and beyond after hours and on their day off for when we ordered 9 dozen to share with employees. For father's day I ordered a box full for breakfast and dessert. Made strawberry shortcake in the glazed donut. So good!

Went today for their grand opening! Waited in a short line outside. Was totally worth the wait!! Ordered a Specialty dozen for $22.99 and got a few additional big donuts. These donuts are HUGE!!!!!! They have both yeast risen and cake donuts. Great selection. The Specialty dozen includes 4 classic donuts, 4 specialty/filled donuts and 4 big donuts! They are open til 4pm Tuesday-Saturday and til 2 on Sundays.

First time visiting this donut shop that has already been getting rave reviews and selling out every Saturday morning. They did not disappoint. The yeast donuts are huge and light as a cloud. Amazing donuts! Very fluffy and light, super delicious and humongous. Great selection to choose from. Also ordered 2 large coffees but was told they only had enough for 1 small cup "maybe." If they had offered to brew a fresh pot for us we would have happily waited (it was only 10:30am) instead of giving our business to the coffee shop down the street afterwards. We'll be back for the donuts for sure though!

Heard how wonderful they were and the donuts did not disappoint, they were amazing!! I bought a dozen and one that i LOVED was the cinnamon roll one, soft and cinnamony all around. The lady that attended to me wasn't super friendly - not much for conversation but of course very helpful. Can't wait till my next dozen! Must give them a try and hurry they sell out early.

We've been twice now, and there is definitely a sweet spot in timing to miss the line and wait time. Everything We've had was very good. The big donuts are truly big but light and fluffy. My absolute favorite is the apple fritter. If you've never had one, please try it. You can eat off one for a few days.

Bring cash! There is a $5 minimum for using your card and thanks to the reasonable prices, that can take a few donuts! I was greeted right away by the employees and they were very friendly and energetic (it was just after 6 am when I came in). The shop is bright and very clean. This place is amazing!! We come every Saturday for the fluffiest most delicious donuts. Never disappointed with their variety. They close at 4pm and 2pm on other days but they never make it to closing because these donuts are so good they sell out!! Run to this establishment and get some donuts.

The best donuts I've ever had, period. I've been to a lot of independent donut shops up and down the East Coast, and parts of the Midwest. These donuts are perfection. The plain glazed donuts are my standard test, along with Bavarian creme. Both were incredible. The plain glazed reheated perfectly in the microwave the next day. (We found 10 seconds to be perfect in our 1000W microwave). Update: if they have the crumb cake donut, I highly recommend it.

Krispy Kreme... Daylight... Duck... Dunkin'... MEH! All these PALE in comparison to Heritage. The line was out the door this Saturday morning. These are some of the best doughnuts I've eaten and just a few miles from home.

I really wish they would update their hours. I?ve arrived on Sunday several times. 11:30am, 12pm,, 1pm, 1:30pm and they have always been closerd. I get, until you run out. Either make more frign inventory or adjust the hours. I have yet to be able to experience this place. I hear the donuts are great too. Mgmt/owners do a better job, PLEASE.

Was trying to think of something other than cake for my daughter's birthday and tried this place because I happened to drive by. WOW!!!! Every other review is not exaggerated - the donuts were FRESH and sooo fluffy and airy. Soo much better then all the mass produced factory options out there. We were running errands in Wake Forest when the donut craving hit. Quick search, and we Heritage Donuts was right down the road. It was late in the day, they close early, but we chose a dozen from those left. The glazed are like sugary clouds! The chocolate glazed, too! We also had plain, blueberry, and the apple fritter. Donuts are great but they are always running out. 1 pm on a Tuesday with 15 donuts and 3 choices is ridiculous!! This is not the first time. People eat donuts all day not just in the am. This is the premier shop if you gotta soothe that sweet tooth but don't have time for average. This can cause fights in the office, but then brings people together again in perfect circles of joy! Grab a few extra of your favorite one, or you'll just have to go back again twice in one day.

BEST DONUTS EVER! I am not even kidding. Heritage Donuts are always fresh and delicious. They have a wonderful selection of the most delectable donuts and pastries you have ever tasted. They have some very tasty donuts. They have choices of donuts that you can have filled with your choice of filling. The fillings are all very tasty. I wish it would spread through the donuts a bit more, but that's a minor complaint. The specialty donuts are really tasty too. I had a s'mores donut with a toasted marshmallow on top that I really enjoyed. I recommend this place for a great donut.

Delicious! I've gotten these for some office meetings and they've been a hit every time. Their yeast donut with the old fashioned crumbled on top is one of my favorite donuts I've ever had! And while their fun flavors are great, they also do a wonderful job at the classics. You can't go wrong here!

We have been driving past for a while wondering when they would be open and finally got to try the donuts on opening day! There were so many too choose from and we wanted them all! We chose our top 6 and all donuts were SO GOOD! We especially thought it was unique that the filled donuts you could choose your filling-my favorite was raspberry filled with chocolate icing. These donuts are amazing!! Before I found this place, I had yet to find a decent donut shop besides the sub par chains scattered across town! This place KNOWS how to do donuts the RIGHT way! These donuts are just like the donuts I grew up eating in my home town on the west coast. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Delicious donuts! We tried the Old Fashioned and it was probably the best I've ever had! They have a variety of flavors to choose from. I'm in trouble. These donuts are awesome! We ordered a specialty dozen and had a family taste test. Family approves and wants to go back and try all of the others. :) I am excited to have a locally owned donut shop close by for the occasional treat (or maybe a little more than occassional). The staff there was very polite and patient as we picked our donuts (which is difficult to do with so many great choices).

Wonderful addition to the area! We have popped in for a donut every weekend since the opening and not been disappointed yet. I personally just love a plain chocolate donut or cinnamon twist once in awhile, and they have filled those cravings perfectly. We've tried a variety of donuts now from here and all of them have been delicious. Everything has a good soft interior and things like apple fritters and cake donuts have a nice crunch on the outside. They hands down the best donuts in Wake Forest and some of the best apple fritters in the Raleigh area.

I can definitely see why this place has a 4.9 star rating. I wanted to try everything! My dad owns a bakery in PA and haven't found anything close since moving down here. I think I've found it! Will definitely take my dad next time he visits. I had the bacon maple and pinecone. The pinecone was a little too sweet for me but the maple bacon was very savory, fresh, soft, it was everything! Highly recommend this place! Also thought it was interesting how they fill the donuts upon request. Cool idea!

I want to give this place more stars but I don't understand how a place closes at 4 but sells out by 12 which tells me they don't make enough donuts and want to leave early because they close. I don't think that's fair to the customers.Thats not good business

As most people most likely know already they have the best doughnuts around. They fill their fillable doughnuts when you order them. Doughnuts area a little pricey but they are 2 to 3 times larger than Krispy Kreme. I think they are better as well. Everytime I go they are super busy but get you through the line quickly. Highly recommend getting your doughnuts here.

We got a specialty dozen and a couple of apple fritters, as well as a dozen donut holes. They were bigger than I expected so idk if we can finish them all but they are so worth it. The breading part was better than Krispy Kreme and the frosting was better as well. The customer service was great. Both girls were so sweet and took pride in the look of their order opening the box and asking if they looked okay.
