Henry Donuts

Henry Donuts

Reviews Summary

Henry's Donuts receives mixed reviews, with strong praise for fresh, flavorful donuts (especially maple bacon bars and apple fritters) and friendly service when available. However, consistency issues plague multiple locations—frequent complaints include limited selections, stale or day-old donuts, unreliable opening hours, and occasional poor customer service. Early visits yield better experiences, but many report disappointment with quality and freshness later in the day. While some consider these the best donuts in Washington, others advise alternatives due to inconsistency.

Customer Reviews

This is my second time going there! The first time was great, the donuts were fresh and tasted good but it was the weekend the first time I went. This time though, the donuts tasted a bit old and the inside of one was completely gooey and not done all the way. I took a few more bites to see and it was like that throughout. Accidents happen right? So I told the lady behind the counter and she told me that I was wrong and it was just sugar making it do that. I know the difference between sugar and a donut tha

Very, very limited selection. Taste is worst in Marysville, even if you consider all the grocery stores. Poor service. Will serve stale doughnuts before they would throw them out. They obviously don't want to be doing this. Just go to any grocery store. It will be better unfortunately.

Fresh variety of donuts always ready in the case. Coffee is excellent and fresh all day. Speedy service and I appreciate that there is no minimum order or fee for card purchases. *Edit* They are now requesting a minimum $5 for card purchases. Please respect this, as it helps small business owners. I try to pay cash when I can.

Atmosphere- N/A. Owners are wonderfu people and their doughnuts come in a lovely variety!! Really like the chocholate bismarks w/ vanilla cream filling!!! Yummm!!!

Service was quick selection was laking and they where day old donuts not fresh at all

not open even when google says its open, went an hour before closing was told no donuts come back tomorrow and they have a hand written sign saying closed for the week no explanation

3 donut options for a donut shop is absolutely ridiculous. Will not be back.

Henrey's is a local business in Marysville that can be busy early in the mornings. I love to stop and get a dozen doughnuts for people when I am near by. Very good and a great family business to support.

I truly don?t right reviews but after having my donuts I?m like oooh no they were both stale and dry. Literally 2day old donuts. Specially for buying at 7am, come on now they should be fresh why would you want to sell day old donuts? Very disappointed ??

My mother would buy my siblings and I donuts from this shop years ago. Today, I was craving a donut and searched up Henry?s. I?m so happy this shop is still open! They have by far the best donuts in town. So fresh and soft, quality you can?t get from grocery stores.

Update: excellent customer service! they refunded my money, which I really appreciate?? I bought a dozen donuts this morning for my son's birthday... when I got home and we all sing Happy Birthday and bit into our donut... all of the donuts are day old and stale!!!! So sad. Driving a half hour away to get good Donuts just to find out they were old stale and disgusting for my son's birthday was a disappointing situation.

What kind of Donut shop doesn't sell strawberry frosted donuts? Fix it

Worst donuts ever. All they had were 3 types to choose from. The maple bar tasted 5 days old. The filled donuts filling was bitter. 2 small Coffees cost more then the donuts. So $10 was thrown in the garbage. DO NOT STOP HERE FOR DONUTS. Go to safeway. Or anywhere else.

Great service and great donuts! Love the old fashion donuts! If they don?t have it in the front, just ask and they most likely have what you want in the back being made!

Basic donut shop, a little pricey for basic donuts, though they?re bigger than grocery store donuts. It would be cool to see them branch out into the world of bakery sweets; think cannoli, elcairs, etc. or new varieties of specialty donuts ??, and I think a decor update to something modern and fresh would be good. A more exciting variety of donuts would be spectacular

I always keep going back to Henry's Donuts because they make, in my opinion, the best donuts in Washington. I haven't went anywhere else that has had better tasting donuts. The dough itself has it's own flavor, it is delicious, and the frosting on the donuts is just as equally good. Their donuts are always baked fresh, they aren't some mass produced company donuts with plain dough and bland frosting. Highly recommend

Henry's is always the best, proprietors are friendly , efficient and good to chat while prepping your order with speed and care. Best fresh donuts in Marysville!

Best Donuts around. Hands down my favorite way to spoil my kids on a Saturday morning is with a dozen of the softest, tasties, and creamiest Boston Cream Donuts I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Still hoping for the maple bacon donuts, but plenty of other options. Ordered a cool dozen varieties and were quickly on our way and a interesting chat with the baker if you have the time. A quick in and out on a Sunday morning.

Pricy, but delicious! The selection in Marysville is always limited in comparison to the Henry's in Everett. I wish they would add the wonderful donut holes and brighten up the decore a bit, not very inviting. Staff here is always efficient, but not out of the way freindly, smiles are rare there even thought they offer a happy product ??. All in all a great donut!

They used to have great donuts during certain times of the year, when they were busy. I must say they had the best maple bars when not day old. Now you always get day old donuts, even if they just made them you get old ones. I've tried all times of the day and even asked if they are from today, they tell me no every time now.

WORST SERVICE EVER! I just got back from Henry's Donuts after spending more than 25 minutes there. I was so excited to try this place out having just moved here. When we arrived (My husband, 2 year old son, and I) there were maybe a dozen and a half donuts in the case. There was a limited variety to select from. The place was empty. The woman who appeared behind the counter said that's all the donuts they have for now unless we want to wait. I asked how long and she said about 30 minutes, more were baking.

Came in on a Sunday at 930 and the donuts were stale. We got two Boston creams, two maple bars, a raspberry filled, and a cinnamon twist and each was borderline gross and for sure tasted like day-old donuts.

Just got back from Henry's donuts. Sunday morning 6am. Very small selection. Maybe 6 kinds of donuts to choose from....lots of empty trays. When we got home & tasted the donuts we noticed that they are obviously day old donuts. Not fresh. Paid full price, chose from very few & got old donuts. Not happy. Will go somewhere else next time. Too bad - we wanted to support a local small business.

The reason I did not give a Five Star rating, is that Henry Donuts isn't open later. These Donuts are Sooooo Gooood! When you pick them up you can feel that they actually have substance to them. How a Donut should be - nice and heavy. The icing is thick, dough fresh and filling. Very clean establishment and friendly service. Never a wait, always room to sit and enjoy your order with a nice cup of coffee. Kids love it, especially the younger tots.....They enjoy the toys that are accessible out in the diner.

Love Henry?s donuts! They are by far my favorite donuts around! You have to go early if you want the good ones but what do you expect they sell out because they are so darn good! Way better then any grocery store donut for sure!

Notice this is a Henry Donuts, not Henry's Donuts. The donuts are different than at Henry's in Everett for example which I love. They are not as fresh and tasty. There is a smaller selection. And the kicker is that they refuse to give you a fresh donut. If you walk in and ask them what is fresh they will not tell you or give it to you, they just make you pick. And it is expensive and they charge for using a card to pay, which is normal but they acted like I was a bad guy. This has happened multiple times.

Donuts are always cold and old, even at 5:30am in the morning. I haven't had the pleasure of having fresh made donuts yet, maybe I have just been unlucky? Sadly there is no other donut place around to compare this place to. I still recommend this place if you're in the area and would like some donuts.

Sunday morning stale donuts. The lady was pushy and I was the only customer too add but i over looked it because we all have bad days. I used to get henrys on the weekends in Everett when I was stationed there in the navy. Ill drive to mount vernon and get darrens for now on.

Donuts here are "meh" at best. Always slim pickings if you come in anytime after 9. Almost never have a i gotten a "fresh and hot" donut here. And this place is almost never opened at their actual posted hours. I work in the area and their posted hours claim they are open at 5am and when I drive by here on my way to work (roughly 5:15-5:30am) I hardly ever see the lights on. After a few attempts to give this place my business trying to get a breakfast donut to only find they aren't even opened well after a

It was so nice that they open so early as we were coming back from the Airport and starving. Great donuts, good price, ok coffee and AMAZING service!. Ighly recommended!

Thanks for some delicious donuts! My team loved them!

I was a little disappointed in my first Henry's explanation. Maybe I'm a little spoiled from donut shops in Texas, but I think I was expecting more. They were out of plain glazed donuts at the time and I also thought there would be some options other than donuts. The donut itself wasn't too bad, but nothing that just made me jump for joy.

Was very disappointed in the donuts. They were to heavy and tasted greasy. The filled donuts were only filled at the very top just under the crust not in the middle. I don't think that they're worth the price.

One would think that a Henry's Donut shop, whether in Arlington, Marysville or Everett, there would be some consistency in taste and or quality of the product ? I love apple fritters (though I'll eat whatever my husband brings home), so this review is based on a comparison of apple fritters. Marysville gets two stars because one, there are very little apple taste to the fritters (due to very little, if no bits of chopped apple and two, they are the same size as the other donuts. Arlington would get a fo

The service here is impeccable. It's nice to stop once and awhile, get a few doughnuts and good conversation. If ya got a special order, give him a call. Love this shop.

6 am on a saturday and they only had 6 kinds to choose from. The fritters were small and greasy, not at all like Henrys in Everett or Mukilteo. Highly dissapointed. Go up to osterwilks on 3rd if you want a decent donut in Marysville.

i have to say Everett shop you smell the oil and donuts..marysville...not so much i assume they are baked off property and delivered, ive never got one there that tasted fresh..go to Everett on Broadway and you will see

Absolutely DELICIOUS donuts, especially the Boston Creams! Excellent service as well, even brewing fresh coffee for our order.

Some of the best donuts I've ever had. Have to get there early because they are very popular and run out of popular varieties fast

Best donut I've had in a long time. Staff was super friendly. Bonus wall fish for ambience ??

Not alot of choices maybe 10 different kinds. They use the same cooking oil for all donuts...frosting is colored to look the flavor.

One of the best donuts I've ever had! The lady was really nice and professional!

They stayed open longer on New Year?s Eve for their customers. My maple bar was good but tasted and smelled like it had been prepared in stale or old oil.

My go to donut shop in Marysville. But be warned, they're popular, and on a Saturday or Sunday they will run out of donuts, and they quit making more at a certain point, so come early or risk not getting your fave.

I never really give 5 stars because no one is perfect and even the places that have good food screw up from time to time the donuts at the Henry's in Everett are way better than the donuts at the Henry in Marysville don't be confused owned by different people they're fresher in Everett but sometimes the Asian people that run it could be rude

Have been to this shop a few times in the early AM. Maple bacon, apple fritter, boston creme... Great donuts, awesome service, reasonable pricing. Nothing wrong with this place.

Locally owned friendly owner and their donuts are really good.

Got here at 9 am and they had very little selection. All the donuts looked really old and were cold. Definitely never coming back here.

I called to ask if they delivered (Google listed them as they do) I got rude NO. I was then going to ask if I could order for pickup when the guy just says "bye" and hangs up mid sentence. I've never eaten here and wanted to try, but now after that I never will.

Good donuts. Friendly service. Nothing to set them apart from other donut places though. But still good.

Sorry but this particular Henry's does not serve hot fresh donuts. There are twelve hours or older

So good I cannot go there more than once a month. The bacon maple bars are so good I could not believe it but everything else was too.

The donuts are huge! Soooooo good

I highly recommend the maple bacon bars. Don't knock it til you've tried it! On a scale of 1 to 10 they rate a 17!

Donuts were good. It would have made me feel better had the staff been wearing a mask while getting my donuts.

Kids are happy when I surprise them with donuts from here ??

I always receive good customer service here. The donuts are super fresh and yummy too!

Love there donuts my kids always want there donuts instead of birthday cake on there birthday ?? ?????? sweet people ??%

Pretty darn good donuts. I would return.

They were good, donuts were good, awesome service, reasonable pricing. Overall a good place nothing wrong here

The Lady I?m sure is the owner is super RUDE!!! Also the selection is so small it?s ridiculous and I tried asking if they still made A certain donut and before I can finish talking she says no only what you see

So much better than grocery store donuts. Just be aware that they close early.

LOVE them! Always quick and have a great selection. I also go before 9am when I go. Hint to go in early before the rush.

Yum! These donuts are absolutely fantastic! So soft and fresh :) will absolutely be back!

Better then Safeway donuts. Worker is always fast and helpful. Love the maple bacon bars

Absolutely love coming to this place, little to no wait, and some of the best donuts I've eaten by far! Thank you!

sign says open at 0500 !!!! waited till 0545, still not open!!! had to go to Safeway !! not Happy!!?? The donuts at Henry are top notch!!

First time trying them and they're really good! Boston Cream and apple fritters are to die for

Did not like it here. The donuts tasted stale and soaked in oil. I tried it once again a month later and it was still the same.

Lady who sells the Doughnut isn?t wearing a mask or following proper sanitation. She handles the money and the donuts at the same time. That?s plain nasty.

Best donuts around! Open 24 hours! Fresh donuts & Fresh Hot Coffee!

Good donuts friendly service... And decent price..

Service is lousy with very little care. Donuts are just donuts and not much variety. Coffee is not so great either

Lady clerk needs to smile and greet the ladies the exact same way she streets the Men equally with smiles not grumpy SMH

Very good doughnuts, I prefer the Henry's in Everett though.

Great donuts. This was a staple for my kid and I every Saturday before we moved.

Tasty donuts, gladly support small businesses like this one, that work hard and are consistent

Order ahead and eat all the warm yummys you want. Love the maple bars :)

Looks like they make fresh donuts everyday and large donuts for good price.

Not clean. Limited amount of donuts available. Do not recommend.

Love Henry's donuts locations, the owner in Marysville, his donuts and service never disappoint.

The best things ever. The maple bacon donut is stellar. Mouthwatering

I really love the donuts it is so delicious

The inside of their shop actually looked nice, and the cashier was friendly too.

Amazing atmosphere and delicious doughnuts my kids love this place!!! #memories #hometown

Can you say fresh, fluffy, not Enrique Iglesias. With a little crisp...
