Haute Donuts

The strawberry and hibiscus donut was absolutely delicious. The donut dough was fluffy and soft. The strawberry flavor was strong and didn?t taste like synthetic strawberry.. All the flavors were traditional but elevated. I will be coming back to try some of the layered donuts in the future.

I had a craving for an apple fritter so I headed to Haute Donuts. Unfortunately they didn't have them so I got a vanilla bean glazed donut and on a whim I ordered the 50 Layer Caramel Apple. The glazed donut was really good, very solid and very large. Much larger than your normal donut. As for the 50 Layer Caramel Apple...my goodness! I was not prepared for how good this was. First time trying this spot. And it didn?t disappoint. The donut flavors rotate daily. Pictured from top left clockwise in the box picture are the 50 layer double lemon, vanilla glaze, pecan swirl, and chocolate sprinkle. I tried a little of all and the crowd favorites were definitely the 50 layer and chocolate sprinkle. The 50 layer lemon was so flakey and tasty. Sweet with tart lemon filling. The donuts are pretty good. I do not recommend the donuts that have filling as there is always way too much filling inside of them and it just sprays out everywhere.

Seriously the garlic parm donut is the best donut I have ever had. It is sooo good. I?m new to eating savory donuts, so I was a little hesitant but my god I?m glad I tried it. I went to the Van Aken location and the woman behind the counter was so nice. The recipe for both the 50 layer donuts was incredible. So flakey and made to perfection. Highly recommend trying any of the donuts. I also got the strawberry hibiscus and chocolate peanut butter that was so good too. TRY THESE DONUTS, it?s a must.

MAY 2024: First time eating here, and we ried two 50 layer berries and cream pasties and one 50 layer white chocolate raspberry pastry. I call it a pastry because while it is shaped like a donut, it's more like a flaky pastry with creamy filling inside of it. At $4 each, we paid $12 total for them. These are not your ordinary donuts?these are special. The 50 layer donuts are a work of art. Flavors change regularly. I?m a sucker for anything with the lemon curd or strawberry. Highly recommend!

Honestly, it was the best donut I ever had. It was so good, I would even consider making the trip out to Shaker Hts from N. Ridgeville, to get me some!! So delicious!

Wonderful addition to the Van Aken Market hall! I was nervous at first but this place does not disappoint. I recommend any of the 50 layers donuts, the lemon and blueberry. I look forward to trying the strawberry. If you are ordering for a family I would like to mention the price of these donuts may be surprising, I believe we order 3 donuts for $11-$12. Our daughter wasn?t a fan of her chocolate donut but I believe it?s because it was dark chocolate and not milk chocolate.

I have bought donuts there seven or eight times now since they opened. This area was in need of such a place. Love the standard frosted sprinkles and vanilla glazed, plus her versions of a cross between a croissant and a donut (50 Layer) are delicious. Wonderful flavors that change daily. Highly recommend!

I like to stop by this place every now and then and every time the donuts are fantastic!! The owner really dedicates herself to coming up with cool new flavors while sticking to classics as well. You can certainly tell that the donuts are freshly made every morning. You can't beat their prices either. There are even vegan options available!! Lovely store with friendly faces and great donuts!!!

Amazing culinary creations of both traditional and non-traditional takes of donuts. The donuts have their own unique bite and texture not seen with other donuts shops. Whenever I am in Cleveland I am definitely making a return pit stop here!

Honestly?I?m a transplant from LA and have had a hard time finding a really good donut. I had a glazed & a pineapple/strawberry jelly donut and they were EXCELLENT! A little heavier like a Cronut but absolutely delicious.

Very poor quality donuts and very expensive. I bought half dozen and they were left over from Saturday. They do not make the donuts fresh especially on Sunday morning. One of the two girls had an attitude and the other one was very sweet.

Very tough texture...like chewing a bad cut of steak at $3.50 each. Not worth the $ or the calories! Grocery store donuts in the plastic container beat these. I'm looking for a melt in your mouth donut on Cleveland's East Side. Help!! This is not it!

I was excited about the flavor combinations but unfortunately the donuts themselves taste like bready hamburger buns.
