Customer Reviews

We live out of town now and hit Haskell?s up for some hot donuts right at opening for our trip home. We were surprised that the donuts bought at 4:35am were cold and obviously not fresh. The box says made from scratch ?daily?. I guess those are air quotes, not to be taken literally. Bummer. I?m attaching a photo of the updated menu in Biden?s America.

Great place , fast service, very friendly, hot glazed donuts was the best

The only reason we went here was because it is the scene where Uncle Si ate 32 donuts to put everyone else to shame. Awesome autographs on the seats and countertop. The donut holes were average tasting. A dozen for a $1.80. I didn't like the chocolate covered ones it was just glaze with cocoa added to it, that's not really chocolate to me.

The Kolaches seem to be of store-bought and microwaved quality, the chocolate donut I got was cold as ice and the icing on it was hard as a rock. The only good thing I got was a regular glazed donut.

Amazing sprinkle donuts!! A delicacy to my taste buds! And staff was very pleasant! Sad that the Duck Dynasty folks don't frequent it, guess they are too busy these days!

Had a very hospitable experience. Loved the donuts. Thank you Ms Janie and staff! Much love and blessings from our family

I love this place and anytime I pass thru I stop. Homemade style donuts and breakfast items. NOT generic like other places.

I ordered two kolaches. You gave me pigs in a blanket. I didn't like the taste of those. A kolaches is three times that size. There was no cheese that I could find. Very disappointing. The eclair was a good size and tasted good. Yours are the best tasting that I have found around the area. And the biggest. But, you had very little cream inside them. It had the best taste. There just was not hardly any in the donut. Customer service was okay, but you don't get to keep my change.

Given one star because they have the worst customer service that I?ve experienced in West Monroe so far on our trip from out of state. The sign says they?re open but their lobby is closed and when I try to call them over and over they won?t pick up the phone and they?re just sitting there talking. All I needed to know is if they are open or not since there?s signs on but the doors closed. Do better.

We did get here a little late but I wish donuts would've been warmer than they were. They still tasted good and I was happy

Best donuts ever. They were warm and so so good.

Friendly staff and very good donuts. Prices are reasonable. We didn't appreciate the way a particular local 'regular' customer there rudely treated us, but we understood that he was just 'marking his territory' and no doubt stupidly felt threatened by us 'outsiders.' (Really - he needs to get a life and go squat on a counter stool somewhere else. Staff should tell the old fart to lighten up and stop trying to intimidate strangers.)

Decor was cute. Service was bad. The person at the counter stood and stared at us and did not speak until we spoke to her. Employees stopped working on our order so they could share a donut themselves. The chocolate frosting was just weird tasting. They talked loudly about other employees and sang while we were eating.

You'd think that getting to a donut shop right after they open that the donuts would be hot and fresh. Nope. These are cold and obviously not made recently. The kolaches are pitifully small and not worth the price. Haskell's used to be much better. Also, I got there 10 minutes after opening and was told she needed another 10 minutes. Which would've been fine if what I got was good.

You can no longer go inside which is hard when you have a little one that wants to pick something unique. The lady was super rude when I was asking questions and rushing me so she close the window. Customer service goes along way, I planned to order for my office but decided not to incidence her any longer.

We stopped by and got 2 of their apple fritters. They were great tasting

This has been the only donut shop I would go to for years now. I'm just disappointed in how bad the customer service has gotten. There is one lady in the drive through that is very unfriendly. The open sign is usually off still when I get there about 5am. One day she says she cant serve me for another 15 minutes bc of the donut count, this is at 5am, I said no problem. The next day still unfriendly, still no open sign, and my explains were cold and hard. This is not the first time I have had the pleasure

The young man at the counter was very nice, and personable. My little boy asked him, whose Birthday was it since there was a banner hanging, and he engaged my son in conversation. It really made his day, and my son said there donuts are the best. This will be our donut shop to visit whenever we desire pastries.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Spent 2 mos working in LA from Tennessee and these folks were as close to hometown folks as could be. My buddy and I stopped almost every morning. He had to have doughnut holes. They were delicious. Apple fritters, cinnamon twist and Kolaches with jalapenos were my choice and I was not disappointed. Thank you so much for a great start to the day and amazing hospitality Haskells. If I am ever close again I will definitely stop by.

Nice people, AMAZING eclairs, and the best donuts I've ever had (which includes my VERY picky family). They stay open until they sell out of their donuts, so go as early as possible! 100% recommend this donut shop.

I came to get donuts for my son's birthday on a weekday morning. When I got there at 6:00 it was still closed nobody showed up to open ?? after getting donuts from somewhere else I'm still giving them five stars for having the best donuts! Nothing beats haskell's!

Went in a few weeks ago and both employees watched me walk in, continued their own conversation and waited until they were done to inform me they had been sold out. Patience and kindness can go a long way.. Won?t be back.

Great place to visit. Staff is so friendly and the donuts taste great! Go early for the best selection. Once they sell out, they're for the day.

Good and soft. Just right ??

We visited Haskell's Donuts today as part of our tour of West Monroe. Staff was very accommodating and kolaches and donuts were great! They had a constant flow of drive thru traffic as well as walk ins.

We went here after going to duck commander all becuz of the episode regarding who could eat more donuts on duck dynasty. We got the glaze donuts and they were okay.

The glazed are usually pretty good. Picked some up and they were hard as if they were made the day before. Very disappointed!!!

Fast, friendly great kolachies Haskells on 165 is open at 10 every night.fresh hot just glazed...oohhh so good...and there is always a line to the road for at least 3 or 4 hours..then it slows down to only 3- 4 cars in line..very fast...very fresh...worth the effort to be there at 10 pm

They have the best glazed donuts. But Rolling Pin in Owensboro Ky. Have the best chocolate covered donuts. They both hey 5 stars

The donuts are just too packy for me. I prefer a warm, crisp, light donut. The eclairs are ok and so are the apple fritters but I go elsewhere for glazed donuts.

Horrible service. The food tastes stale and the glaze tastes store bought and the drive thru takes forever. Will not be coming back.

Great donut place. I love finding places like this. Donuts were huge for the price. Please support local business and help places like this stay alive!

Their donuts always taste like they're half way to being completely stale

Everyone should stop by here. Local business. Good, yummy donuts!! Great location!

Nice employees but the donuts weren't very good...will definitely go somewhere else next time

It was ok but would have been better if they had not run out of chocolate covered donuts

It was very good. There was a line but it moved quickly. A must stop if your in the area.

Great friendly service. Awesome donuts. The Apple Fritters are to die for. A must stop for us. :-)

I don?t know what happened but in the past month the Kolaches have fallen off drastically. 0.5 stars out of 5.

Absolutely love that morning breakfast taste they have. Love it a lot

Always great donuts. Two of my favorite items here are the eclairs and the koloches.

Very fresh donuts! Friendly staff and great prices!

My typical morning stop on my way to work. They always have fresh coffee.

Awesome donuts, good coffee, and the prices were not bad!

Super nice and friendly staff. Apple turnerovers are worth the trip over.

Their donuts are so fresh and we are always greeted with a smile.

They were fast but donuts were cold. Iceing fell off of whole donut w/1 bite.

My donut was raw they acted like it was a big deal to replace it and the staff were slamming door and cussing and I had my two year old with me there

Love their pastries, cinnamon twist , apple fritters, ?? ?? ??

Visited at 10:00 on a Thursday. Virtually no donuts left. Had some donut holes.

Hot & fresh donuts and coffee at 5am. What else could anyone need?

THEIR SERVICE IS GREAT AN THE LADY CALLED JANIE MILLER IS SO SWEET AN PROFESSIONAL!

Never disappoint for amazing donut holes! My son's favorite in town!

Rude service at window, because i told her a spider came out the box

Good food and fast but not really friendly

They don't give away the donuts when they close to people that are needing fun

Great service, awesome staff. I will definitely be back!!

Very unprofessional. Donuts were freezing. And the kolaches were very dry.

Donuts were heavy. Server at the drive thru not friendly

Great taste with great prices, not much variety though.

Best glazed donut period. A must visit when in LA.

Very fast very good. Decent price. Friendly workers.

Love friendly staff and doughnuts..

Wonderful service and great donuts. Go Bucks!

Drove to the location at 530 am closed sign says 430 am 7 days a week lies nothing but lies

Great service, and everything they serve is awesome!!

Extremely slow service, only one person was working and the line was out to the road!

Only got donut holes but they where nothing special!

Their donuts are great. Their apple turnovers are to die for.

Awesome food and the staff is very friendly

Awesome awesome awesome! Apple turnovers were amazing!

Had to leave because they never took my order

Donuts were kind of hard and the glaze on them was crumbling.

The best donut place in the area, hands down

If you go in here with a credit card, forget it. Cash only
