Went there for the first time today and got some great food. Service was amazing. BUT the charge was $14.74 and when I got notification on my credit card statement I was charged $20.04. Even a credit card fee wouldn?t be that high. I did not keep my receipt because I did not think this highly rated place would do something like that. Just watch out when you pay.

Kind staff, great donuts for all occasions
I would not recommend this donut shop. Selection was terrible, the donuts weren't fresh, coffee was burnt and the long johns were stale and not filled. There was literally a tsp of pudding inside, the rest was empty. Very disappointing. Spent $18 for nothing. Now I know why there wasn't a line.
Well I was craving donuts so I decided to go to town and get me some stopped in and got donuts at Happy Donuts in Lindale, Tx I ordered wanted a chocolate eclair and a dozen donuts holes went to pull my eclair out the bag and it falls apart then I go to eat my donut holes and there cold as hell so I will never eat at Happy Donuts again thanks but no thanks
The only donut place in this part of east Texas that actually cooks their donuts and kolaches correctly! Really sad but true.

I highly suggest never going to the Happy Donut place in Lindale TX. 1. The lady is extremely rude. I asked for a dozen donuts. The lady gives me 4. And a cold pig'n'blanket. When I went back inside to tell her I didn't get what I paid for. She denied and said no, I asked for half a dozen and she put the right amount. In an extremely rude tone. I waited patiently as she finished up her other customers and she nerve once glanced my way, or said a single word. So I left with the other customers. On my way out
Doughnuts taste like they are cooked in old grease. It?s sad. They used to make great doughnuts, but since they changed who runs it, they have gone down hill.
This is a great little doughnut shop. The large "pigs in a blanket" are pretty good. The restaurant is always clean and well stocked with freshly made items.
The best donuts in Lindale Texas. First time and the owner is very friendly, smiles, amazing breakfast ??. Highly recommend.
