Delicious breakfast burritos and donuts. My husband found this place one day for lunch and now it?s our go to for breakfast burritos and his go to for a quick, delicious and inexpensive lunch. The staff are very polite and nice.
A nice restaurant in SF that you can?t tell from the outside. It happens to be near our hotel and the price was great. Croissant was $3 and it was quite good. They have a lot Asian dishes and also some American food too. Asian dishes are best in my opinion although not very authentic and some are quite oily, but delicious and affordable compared to nearby options.
Great spot if you want to have a nice coffee or breakfast. Went there couple times, both times having the bagel with cream cheese and eggs and it was good with great taste, the bagel crispy and enjoyable, tasted some pastries and where good not too sweet which was good for my taste. The other party member had a ham sandwich and the other day a pastrami sandwich, both being very good and tasty. Coffee was good as well. Atmosphere chill and with tv on to see the local news. Id recommend it and will visit soon
Breakfast sandwiches are about what you?d expect at other places, but the donuts are phenomenal. My group took a liking to the maple ones, as the flavor is unmatched, and the donut is super fluffy. We came back multiple times during our trip just for the donuts.
Great donut spot friendly service. So many beverage options. Full breakfast menu, sandwiches and dinner option. Good prices very clean.
So this place was great for breakfast. Perfect for protein or carb lovers. Prices were very reasonable. Supper friendly staff, treated us like friends. Food was very taste. Must visit. Plan to go back for lunch or dinner. Our group had French toast, omelet, and breakfast sandwich. All were made fresh and very good. Really is home cooking. Their menu is larger and price low for downtown.
Best warm apple fritter in The City, I?ve had.
Overcharged price. They don?t even have a price tag for their banh mi sandwiches so I thought it would be around ~$10 each but turns out they charge me almost 17 buck a sandwich! The sandwich is also small and unbalanced. Would NOT recommend :(
I thoroughly enjoy starting my day with a leisurely morning walk with my dog, and this donut shop makes it even more delightful. They open their doors at 7am, serving up not only the freshest donuts but also aromatic coffee that complements the experience perfectly. The sandwiches on their menu are not only delectable but also incredibly budget-friendly, and I have yet to encounter any disappointment with either their food or their impeccable service. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming spot to anyone
Cheap, delicious bacon egg muffin. Fresh pastries. Indoor seating. Fast and friendly.
I ordered a blueberry muffin + a smoothie mango. I obtained a dry muffin not really tasty but the smoothie became a very sweet pink milkshake (maybe some mango inside I cannot tell). It contained so much sugar that I couldn't finish it...and then I was sick for the coming 3 days with stomach pain and diarrhea. TO AVOID ABSOLUTELY!
The people working here are excellent at getting you a good cup of coffee & a pastry very quickly & are all very friendly in doing so. Pastries are good, coffee is good, nothing exceptional. I give them 4 stars because of the great staff.
Donuts are amazing, and I?m not a huge fan of donuts in general, so gladly impressed by these ones. Thank you :)
This place SMACKS ... Hella good ass cheeseburgers
So, this is now part of a Chinese restaurant...that was new to me but I usually went to the one in Redwood City when we lived in the area. That being said...thise donuts are pure heaven! Light and fluffy, big and pillowy! They never fail to make my tastebuds ecstatic! So miss food donuts and wish we could have a shop like Happy Donits near me??
I asked for 2 eclair donuts, and the woman behind the counter gave me 2 plain "bar" donuts, which I found out they also make after I got home and found no custard cream inside the donut. Who even makes eclair shaped donuts with no cream inside? Those should not even exist! Also the donuts were not good and definitely not worth an average price of almost $3.00 for one.
Wow this is a GEM! Their egg muffin puts Dunkin? Donuts to shame. Coffee 10/10, wonderful family run business. Great deals too.
Stopped by on a whim on our checkout day in San Francisco because our little one wanted actual breakfast. Loved this place as it just had it all. You got breakfast, lunch, dessert, just all of it. Will definitely stop by when back in town.
They have good fresh donuts. I've not tried enough of thei,r food to comment. ]However, I've tried the egg rolls. Don't order the egg rolls. The delicious picture is a total bait and switch. But, even though they have good "donuts"; they're a tad light on the "happy". Great selection of lottery tickets.
I would give 0 stars if possible. I have literally never had worse food in my life. I have covid right now and mustered up enough strength to write this because I am so disgusted and disappointed. Stay away. Order nothing from here. I genuinely hope this place changes or goes out of business. I got a cheese omelette, bacon, and a few donuts. I cannot stress enough how much I regret giving my money to these people.
We ate breakfast every morning at Happy Donuts during our recent San Francisco stay. The staff is lovely and the breakfast sandwiches and croissants really good. Highly recommend for a quick and convenient meal.
Two weeks in a row the food was very bad I ask for my money back and they told me not to come back!!! Not recommended they burn you food and pretending you eat it burn! Eags burn from bottom but super raw the top!!! Hash browns burning! Burning and raw! And I explained it happened last week too and did not say nothing because I liked the place! Too bad! Not recommended! He told me at the end interview saying sorry he said do not come back! Lol of course not! I rather go ihop in north Beach! With that pric
Great food! Lots of choices, lots of flavor, almost no wait time excellent choice of grabbing a quick bite!
Kinda pricey for greasy chinese diner food (you'll spend about fifteen bucks for the average entree). Also the last time i ate a breakfast sammich there i got a gnarly tummy ache, but I can't be sure it was the fault of their food... It could've been any number of variables. Still, i don't go there unless i'm too short on time to grab something better.
Huge array of donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, etc; low prices. We tried the bearclaw and it was perfect, from taste through the texture. It was actually difficult to choose because they had SO MANY THINGS! Very clean and bright store. Pretty basic but cheerful. Recommended :)
Not a bad place to grab a quick bite or coffe & donuts. Hamburgers obviously had frozen patties but were reasonably juicy and tasty. Bit on the pricier side for a place like this($10 burger and fried w/canned soda) but hey, that's kinda expected here right? Heard that their curry is pretty good too. Just keep in mind their teriyaku menues are a bit too salty.
Come here for food. Chinese food good. Donuts good. Coffee good
Good pitstop with excellent coffee.
This is a really nice place for a quick meal. They even offer a place to sit down if you want one of their sandwiches. Which, by the way, are pretty good, too. Prices are fair. Hot chocolate is incredible!
Lovely holiday spirit with the freshest, lightest donuts to be found on Christmas Day!
Very friendly staff, but the food was disappointing. The apple fritter was a giant ball of grease that I threw most of away. The eggs and pancakes were overcooked. The maple bar was tasty, though.
Food it can be good , but they have a terrible customer service, this people have no education to treat the customer I had a wrong order one time and they did not want to deal with it. I came back and sat down for breakfast with my family ,because I think the food can be good and this time the guy was rude because I wanted my small coffee in a medium cup and he demanded the 25 cents there on the spot I thought it wasn't nice the way he ask for it and told him I want my money back and he denied it !!! at s
Really nice place to have a good and delicious breakfast. I totally recommend the Bacon and Egg Bagel! Bakery is also really good.
OMG this is the BEST happy donuts in SF! I bring my grandma here all the time and the staff are super friendly to us. Even there food is great! When I'm feeling a little bit naughty I'll get a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon and all the fixin's. Yes, I just said "fixin's"
lives up to the name.
Casual, quick, eatery with a diverse lunch and breakfast menu. Serves hamburgers, sandwiches, asian food and breakfast staples (pancakes, eggs, etc) in addition to donuts and pastries. Recommended to me by a local, the employees spoke accented english well and were very friendly. Prices were reasonable.
The staff here are so friendly. Been coming here forever. The donuts are great.
A nice average donut shop. I have been spoiled by donut shops that offer freshly cooked donuts. These are consistently slightly stale all the better to soak the donut in a nice hot cup of joe
Our favorite breakfast burrito spot in the city. We have to limit ourselves to only go once a week.
Great Customer Service! ??
Regularly gets your order wrong in their favor. 11 donuts to a dozen etc.
Was hungry and check out this place with a friend. Bloody awesome chocolate glaze donuts. And the #1 breakfast with bacon is good. Need to come to this spot more often.
Not sure what the bad reviews are for . But these are BEST donuts I?ve ever had. Also the ice coffee is nice & strong .
Five stars for the donuts and breakfast items, three at best for lunch items. Yes it's a donut shop, but they also serve lunch. Its mostly sandwiches and Chinese items, but lunch isn't their specialty. Go for the donuts, which are fantastic!
Im pretty sure you guys shouldn't tell a doordasher how to do their job. one of your employees wouldn't give me the order. I think she was profiling me because she said I can't have a hat inside.
Really like this place, nothing fancy but I call in my order and everything is hot fresh and fairly priced. They are super nice and very clean. Thanks!
Great donuts, really good coffee, and a lot of affordable items to pick from.
Been in here twice now. Good food, good selection of items, and nice staff. P.S. They're not native English speakers, which is not the same as being uneducated.
I go here pretty much purely for their apple fritters. They're amazing. They have friendly staff and a lot of selection at fair prices.
The most delicious breakfast burrito in the city. Best kept secret in SF. Love that this place is around the corner!
Great donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Best to pay cash to avoid the almost 4% card fee.
I go to this place all the time. It has the best cheap food in the area.
Super friendly staff and incredible sandwiches, let's not forget their doughnuts! Ya gotta go!!
The price of the orange juice is almost 9 dollars, wow, that?s very expensive.
Apple fritter..chefs kiss
Picked up an order from TooGoodToGo (app to reduce food waste). The donuts were delicious and the box was generously filled!
Average place for the price you pay Definitely not cheap I would rather pay $4 more dollars for better quality food, donut and sandwiches
The best chicken friend rice I've had in a very long time, I'm a forever fan and will be back
The staff is always so nice and friendly, the prices are really affordable, and the food is good!
Great food we got breakfast great customer service
Love the old school vibe of this 80's era donut shop. The owners are friendly and they have good tasting coffee.
Best blueberry donut holes we've ever had, very reasonable prices!
The bagel was a little too toasted and the pancakes were not too fluffy but i did enjoy the donuts ??
Breakfast sandwich was really good and good value for the price.
Food is good but I?ve caught the guy overcharging and short changing multiple times.
Too expensive.....4 different donuts.....are for $7.56?!? I might as well buy dozen from Krispy Kreme
Fire donuts! The best I have EVER had! Let?s goooooo HD!
Fast service, very good coffee and great choice of donuts. Price is very good too!
Placed order and they did not delivered what I ordered. When I called them they had no clue of the order nor did they care. They said if I had a problem to contact the company. Must be a franchise.
Store owner lady have bad attitude. The donut is good and the prices is little bit high than I expect it.
Order fried rice they charge me almost 20 for half a plate and it was salted and oily it got me sick never order their food they are nasty
Came here for breakfast, staff was friendly and food was great
Service was fast, cashier was nice, fries are godly, nice place to sit and take a rest.
If your happy an DC you know it clap your h as ends if your hungry and you know order here.
Nice staff, clean bathroom, excenllent service and order is always fast.
Very nice staff, great capuchino and donuts! Try it!
A cozy sandwich shop clean simple food
terrible service. food either very raw or very burnt.
Liked the breakfast sandwich selection and bagels.
Found our last day in san Francisco. Yummy! Great prices!
Delicious and cheap somut, even coffee was cheap, try it.
Kool crazy spot .love the city and the vibe this place has it all
No frills donuts and they have great burgers that are no frills
All the burgers and sandwiches come with delicious crinkle fries!
