Happy Days Caf? is always a bright spot in my day! I use the drive-thru regularly and the service is consistently friendly. I love the iced Mayan?it?s like a spicy mocha and so good! I also enjoy letting them surprise me with random Lotus drinks?there are so many fun and unique flavors to try. And the free Dad jokes? Always a bonus! Great drinks, great vibes?highly recommend

Everything bagel with cheese egg and chicken sausage. Very good. For coffee we had the monkey trouble and turtle. We honestly couldn't taste a huge difference between the 2. They tasted almost like normal coffee. Service was great but for the price we expected a little more.

Ordered an everything bagel with cheese, egg, and chicken sausage. It was very good and freshly made. I had the monkey trouble specialty coffee, and was disappointed that there wasn't enough "monkey" in it. Couldn't really taste the banana flavor. The coffee was good though. Nice stop along our drive to Lansing.

I pretty much never leave reviews but I honestly felt this place was so nice and enjoyable and really customer friendly that I wanted to leave a review. I am a big fan of small coffee shops and I really enjoyed the coffee and treats this morning with my husband and toddler son. Lovely staff and really good baked goods! Looking forward to going back.

Great stop on our family road trip! Almond joy coffee was delish and kids enjoyed their smoothies. Friendly employees and clean and inviting atmosphere. Lots of drink options on the menu. Conveniently has a drive thru for a quick stop!

The owner, Paulette was so welcoming & warm hearted. I was invited by her husband, Jason whom I met at Costco. Kalamazoo location. Very friendly, cozy and warm coffee Cafe. I recommend it. It was featured in MLIVE, March 29, 2023.

I was very surprised to see a place that offers such delicious coffee and pastry close to the highway. People who work there know what they are doing. Very friendly environment, and I loved their atmosphere.

Perfect stop for a morning, good quality coffee. Beware of the smoothies, though. They are extremely sweet! Nice atmosphere, even a couple of outside tables for when the weather is nice. Super friendly service.

Great cup of coffee for sure. I enjoyed a seasonal peppermint mocha. I'm typically a Biggby guy, but this brew was better than anything Ive ever had at a Biggby or Starbucks. So glad this place is right down the street from my house. You can really tell that the owners are actively culturing a great staff and atmosphere!

As someone who considers myself earth friendly and eco friendly I am excited to have a refillable cup! :) Have been several times and enjoyed each and every visit. Good atmosphere to just sit, relax and enjoy. Thank you for the enjoyable space to do that! Quality customer service as well!

Service is always good. Very friendly. Coffee is excellent. Good value, too! Love their rewards program. Big downside is the hours. They close super early and are sometimes randomly closed. Check Facebook before you go!

You need to ask for the Lotus energy drink menu -- it isn't on the posted menu (at least inside the store). It is cute in there and any size drip coffee for $1.89!

Popped in per the recommendations of my Mattawan coworkers, and it was delightful! Genuinely friendly service, and I appreciated how tea-drinker friendly it was, haha. Lots of what looked to be locally produced teas on display, and the mixture of sweet/spicy chai is honestly one of the better chai lattes I've had (and I've had many). The dusting of cardamom/rose on the top was a very nice touch! Will definitely be back when I'm in Mattawan ??

Good atmosphere, well kept, clean, and respectful staff! Coffee is good and hot and seating is comfy. Don't hesitate to hit the drive through or sit and enjoy some conversation. It is well worth the stop!

Absolutely one of my favorite places in the area. Great coffee only beat by great service! These guys support the community, host student and local showcases, they have delicious (non burnt!!!) Coffee. Jason and Paulette are the greatest honestly we are lucky to have this place in Mattawan. Oh yeah the breves here are top-notch!!! A lot of the pastry choices are from a local bakery too. Can not recommend enough.

Customer service was awesome, greeted immediately and with a smile. Prices were more than reasonable (especially in 2024) and I was quite pleased with my drip coffee, it was hot and tasted great! Will return!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Their coffee is way better then Starbucks and biggby. The owner is the best, can completely make up a latte if you have an idea for one. And the food is mouthwatering they are sandwiches are perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Happy Days is the epitome of a great local coffee shop. Every time I go I?m reminded why it?s so important to support your local small businesses. Jay (the owner) remembered my order within the first week of me going there. I?ve been going for 2 years and even when I haven?t been in like 4+ months, he STILL REMEMBERS. This morning he told me a joke. It?s just the little personal touch you don?t get at the chains. And on top of that, I LOVE their cold brew! Cannot recommend enough!

Happy Days Cafe is an awesome place to stop for beverages and muffins! I don?t drink coffee but they have a Lotus drink without coffee that is so good! The staff are always friendly and my kids love going inside to do the trivia they have playing on the tv.

Tried the Almond Joy Latte. It was pretty good! The staff was also super friendly. They have lovely seating indoors and outdoors.

Came back for the first time on the inside since pre covid( came thru drive thru during covid era) the baristas are super friendly the girl who helped me today always smiling very detailed on what specials they had even the owner has really good jokes l also love the atmosphere and the laid back vibe definitely coming back next time in the area do friendly, fast and welcoming just a awesome all around place

This place is AMAZING!!! The only thing better than the coffee (the best I have ever had btw) is the people who work there. You can tell they actually care about you as a person, not just as a customer. There's something really special about this place and you should definitely go check them out!

The owners of Happy Days Caf? are extremely friendly as are their entire staff. Their coffee is the best I have found anywhere, and try to not buy my coffee anywhere else. I highly recommend if you live in the area, or are just visiting, definitely give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely THE BEST service, delicious food, and delightful drinks! So kind and helpful. I called in a very large order of specialty drinks and pastries and they had it ready quickly and it was positively delicious! They even carried it out to my car for me. What a wonderful place!

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop! As the VP of sales for Anytime Fitness I am always on the road and have been through tons of coffee shops nation wide but none even come close. This place has the best tasting coffee in the Kalamazoo area. We spend many days here every time my father visits from Canada. The flavor of their coffees beat anything else nearby.

Fairly easy to get to off the highway. We were passing through and looking for a "better than Starbucks" option and we definitely found it here at Java Joint. Very clean. Very friendly. Great latte!

Good service. I love how they invite the kids in to their place. Its nice knowing my middle schoolers have a safe place to hang out after school. I wish they brewed a better coffee. The coffee is ok but would prefer coffee thats a better quality....such as Uncommon Grounds or Kalamazoo Coffee.

I walk over here often with my family to have a good coffee and relax on their comfortable sofa. They have a decent collection of books for some light reading and good Wi-Fi . Glad to have this place nearby.
