Half and Half Doughnut Co.

I never had a pineapple fritter until this shop, and it was absolutely delicious! I also recently tried their raspberry old fashioned and that might be my new favorite. The frosting is made from real raspberry puree made in the shop. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Half and Half was awesome! I am so glad that I found this donut shop! I had the black and white flavor old fashioned donut as well as the La Canela flavor old fashioned donut. Both flavors were delicious. I am usually not a fan of an old fashioned donut, but these were different, and I am a fan! The donuts were fresh and had a delicious taste and were moist. It is a small shop with a very hipster type of vibe and my wife and I loved it. I definitely recommend half & half for delicious donuts!

Stumbled upon this shop today, 11/23/24 and saw the donuts through the window. It?s a small cute shop and the donuts are delicious! In the photo (yes I have tried each) are the triple chocolate, the vanilla old fashioned, the chocolate covered vanilla old fashioned, and the Georgette. All of them taste fantastic!! 10/10 no notes!

Great glazed mochi and banana caramel Bismark donuts. The old-fashioned was dry, but had good yuzu flavor. I was hoping for a greater selection of donuts, especially on National Donut Day. Drip coffee is good. Glad we could try it on our trip to Seattle.

Delicious fluffy creamy cream filled donut. Spendy ($6 a donut) but on par for what you?d expect on Cap Hill. Excited to come back and try some other donuts! I really enjoyed the donuts from Half and Half, I would recommend them even if they're on the road pricier side. I personally really like the Mexican chocolate original and the pineapple fritter most but the chocolate hazelnut donut was also pretty good. Love their large old fashioned with different fashions! The plain have crispness on outside, and moist spoungey on the inside! They are all that and a donut for a dunkin'! I come here at least once a week and they're always great. I especially recommend the fritters, the raspberry old fashioned and the cinnamon old fashioned (please bring back the lime donut!!). Coffee is great too - they make one of my fav iced mochas in the area!!

Half and Half is one of my favorite spots on the hill. I only recently discovered they have food options, after two years living off their bombas. Their hours are short, so get there before noon to get the best assortment of donuts and treats.

Delicious place to go to for breakfast. Very, very few places both open as early as 6AM and are worth going early for. The maple glazed old fashioned was nothing special, but a solid bite. The buttermilk biscuits with jam is the hidden gem. The breakfast brioche is average and has a fatty texture to it.

This was my second time here but last time we got just some breakfast sandwiches which I remember were okay. This time we took a plain vanilla which was not that good to be honest. Left a lingering feeling of oil(or some fat used to make the doughnut) in my mouth. The lemon glaze was better and we also took the maple bar which was the best among the three we took. We took a cappuccino as well which was pretty good.

Been here greater part of a year and Id recommend no one more. They have the best coffee in seattle and their biscuits and egg bites are phenomenal. If you're new to seattle do try them! This is a unique menu and authentic Seattle.

Loved it. The donuts were fantastic. Lots of great selection. Some of the best donuts I have had. Everyone loved there's. The store is really cool inside. They have these wood paneled espresso machines that look awesome. Location is great to sit out on the street and enjoy your donuts. If you drive a lot of parking is close by. Everything was really pretty good. Not amazing but they have unique and interesting flavors. I got 6 doughnuts and tried a few bites of each along with a hot chocolate. Fun flavors in different shapes and sizes. The dough is fluffy and the flavors are unique. I am a big fan of the passionfruit and bananas foster. They have some traditional flavors like chocolate and plain, but the fun ones are the best part. Its more spendy than top pot or QFC donuts, but thats because its unique and tasty. Visited to grab a doughnut with my daughter. A staff member asked a question to her which she didn?t hear and nicely asked for them to repeat. The staff member was very disrespectful and told her she shouldn?t be on her phone when someone is talking to her (she was not ordering, just standing next to me). Generally disrespectful and unnecessary behavior. Additionally, the donuts were also not a favorite and overpriced. Hours of store are also not dependable and frustrating.

Half n Half is elevated doughnuts at a reasonable price point. I?ve been trying out various doughnut places around Seattle for years, this is one of my favourites thus far. I?m always so excited to see what flavours they have, and they?re Mochi bites are sooo good and have a perfect texture. Did a Yelp search for local donut shops and found this place within a half mile of our hotel on first Hill. Nice leisurely stroll through the neighborhoods into Capitol Hill at 8:00 a.m.. Seattle's not short of donut options, but Half & Half's high quality and combination of classics and modern donuts makes it a more than welcome addition. I can't recommend the pistacchio donut enough, and if you're looking for a donut filled with nutella, you will be very happy here.

Interesting donuts, I like that there's mini versions so you can sample more. It is on the pricier side in my opinion. I got the cronut, old fashioned and bomba. Out of all of them, the cronut was my favorite. Like and flaky and good flavor, the old fashioned was probably my least favorite, it doesn't have the old fashioned texture, more cakey/soft.

I love how they use real chocolate sprinkles (not just brown colored sprinkles) and at the bottom of the donut hole they put a little chocolate button which is a great surprise and texture. It?s the small details here that make it stand out. I also love the croissant donuts. Their donuts are not too sweet in a great way. I don?t feel like I?m going to have a cavity after I eat one but I still feel like I?m eating a really good dessert.

My favorite donut spot in Seattle! Unique and handmade, delicious and filling! I come back every few weeks to try a new flavor, as they always have new and fun old fashion donuts. The savory biscuit is easily my favorite thing ever, it's perfect for breakfast on the go! The old fashioned donuts are so good. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The perfect texture. I haven't liked the other donuts that they have. Some of the ones with filling were good, but the ratios were off and the filling a bit heavy. But the old fashioned is worth it. They have a bunch of different flavors, but they're all good you can't go wrong. You do need to go pretty early on weekends or they might sell out. They seem to have donuts until the close on weekdays though.

My daughter and I stopped in Half and Half this afternoon and we'd never been before. There weren't many doughnuts left because of how late we stopped in but, we were lucky to snag a Banana Fosters and Boston Creme Bomb. Wow! They were definitely some of the most delicious doughnut I've ever had. The creme inside was so deeply flavored and the crackle stuff on top. Wow, wow! We met the owner Christine while there and chatted because I noticed they serve Fulcrum espresso like our coffee shop in West Seattle.

Some of my favorite donuts ever, especially when they have the passionfruit old fashioned. Today we learned that its usually a winter special, but the person behind the counter today went above and beyond for my son when they didn?t have it available and made him something special with ingredients they had in the kitchen.

I have a problem with donuts: I think most of the places would have the same taste and texture in the donut besides the icing. We bought the raspberry and the icing was delicious, sweet and soft. We also got the one filled with banana, and it was a interesting experience. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. They have a looot of options, and the donut average price is 4usd.

Wow! If you see that Bismarck Espresso filled donut, promise me that you will try it no matter what. That thing is delicious! The coffee is also great and the baristas are all very kind and friendly. Amazing donuts and coffee. The only suggestion I would make (and the reason for the 4 star review) is that the front of the store, where the outside chairs and tables are, should be swept up in the morning when they open. Enjoying my coffee and donut would have been more enjoyable if I wasn't surrounded by trash left by homeless people the night before.

Service was so fast and the donuts were so yummy. A good variety. They don't do dozens or half dozens so each piece is individual. It's hard to chose which one but they do have minis! And the coffee was awesome. Covid safe and limit the amount of people allowed inside, so you may have to wait on the sidewalk.
