Excellent! Great pastries/donuts and breads/focaccias. Sweet and savory available. Free house donut on Fridays was delish. Highly recommend. May be a wait for certain items as they come out of the oven fresh. We waited quite a while for some focaccias. (An hour) stopped at another place for coffee and walked around while waiting. Kinda fun because each time we went back a different item was out so we kept getting more things. Delicious monkey buns. Lots of different types of tarts. Not just donuts.

Authentic German bakery and sweets in downtown Geneva. Exceptionally friendly staff help the small space feel warm and inviting. A long historied staple of Geneva that hopefully will remain there for a long time. Honestly, you can't beat this quality of baking in the west suburbs.

Wow! I had Hahn?s Bakery at the Wheaton French Market, an apple caramel crumble cake, not sure what it was actually called but it was delicious!!!!! The texture of the cake is my favorite, the cake balances the sweet topping so well, yummy, thanks!!

I decided to go for an afternoon treat and went with Hahn's Bakery. My husband and I decided to try the Boston Cream cupcake and the German Crumb cake. Wow!! The German Crumb cake is like a giant cookie on top of moist cake. It was FANTASTIC!! The Boston cream cup cake was HUGE! Very tasty too! They offer a good selection on pastries and bread. Prices are very reasonable. I feel the place could have used a cleaning and some updating otherwise I would have given them a 5 star

One our favorite bakeries hidden in the heart of Geneva. We grab scones every time we come in and then usually a couple other goodies that catch our eye! It's a must stop if you're a baked goods fanatic!

Have always loved this bakery. Since I'm in Wheaton now, I buy their baked goods at the French Market. I do want to know if the bakery is making pies for the upcoming holidays.

I?ve liked Hahn?s bakery and we?ve had mostly pleasant experiences. Unfortunately this week has been awful customer experience. My husband went Monday at 9 am which is posted as their opening time. He waited for almost half an hour and no one was there at all and the bakery remained closed. So, we thought oh maybe something happened. The next day, we came and wanted cinnamon rolls and were told they will have it Thursday. When asked about why they weren?t open on Monday, no answer. Again, we came back today

First tried Hahn?s at the Wheaton Farmers Market; everything from bread to pastries was delicious. Recently moved and went to the Genevas farmers and am disappointed with the quality of the bread. The baguettes I purchased were stale and I could tell they were at least a day old.

Stopped in Geneva this morning to grab a crumb cake and the store was empty. Gone. Wife is a Jersey girl and this was the only place that had crumb cake like the East Coast. Very sad to see the place empty. Hope they open up somewhere. Never had anything bad there.

THIS IS THE BEST BAKERY EVER!!! Everything is baked fresh and made each morning. Very organized with the kindest customer service employees. I met a young man who was also named Alex and he did such a wonderful job! All workers should work like him. I had such a great experience at Hahn?s, and I can?t wait to go back!!!

Okay Google maps sends you to the building next door so it can be tricky to find. Just wanted to say that upfront. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pretzel rolls are really soft and have a rich flavor that make them delicious on their own. Really enjoyed this bakery. Everything is fresh baked and it smells amazing when you walk into this quaint bakery.

Stopped in with my daughter yesterday. I've never been here before but have had the pie (strawberry rhubarb) in the past. Everything is fresh baked on site. We purchased a small carrot cake and it was absolutely the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. I'm kicking myself now for not grabbing another along with some scones ( they looked good & I'm sure they are). I'll definitely stop back next time I'm in the area.

I swung by for some donuts this morning, knowing that Hahn?s had some of the best around. The goods were fresh, the service excellent, and the employees are kind. You can tell they love working there, and anyone who walks in will surely love being there. A not-so-hidden gem in the heart of Geneva.

Best scones ever!!! (9/2022) Update 3/19/2023 Very disappointed today. Scones are hard & stale. I pre-ordered sliced sourdough bread and no one had the courtesy to reach out to me prior to driving 25 minutes to the bakery to let me know they only had whole sourdough and for some reason couldn?t slice the loaves for me when I arrive at the bakery. First time here...impressive with how full all the cases and racks were with the bakery goods. I noticed that the wire racks had pastries/cookies on the lower rack about 2?off the floor, uncovered! Very unsanitary. We purchased 6 donuts and 2 pecan rolls. Donuts were greasy and very sugary, I could taste the crunch of the sugars rather than a smoothness. Pecan rolls were hard and stale. This bakery was absolutely amazing! This is my first time here at this bakery, and The food and everything looked soo good and the bakery smelled so heavenly. I love how they have free donut Fridays because the cinnamon donuts I got were freshly baked, and absolutely amazing?? and I don't usually eat cinnamon donuts but these were good?? and the cinnabons tasted amazing. I will definetly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Heard a lot about the bakery and expected to be impressed. Disappointed as I ordered 4 donuts/scones and surprised that the products were very stale/hard and old apparently. One person working and didn't really have much to say when I asked questions and seemed put out and were only one other customer in the bakery. Air got the everything as seemed lacking flavor for $8+. Don't see a reason to go back at this point, unfortunately, and not driving back 30 minutes to complain or refund. :(

Hahn's has literally tons of baked goods ready for purchase. While some items are a bit pricey, you can get great flavorful bakery sweets in bulk or individually. Great scones, strudel, and wide variety of cookies including seasonal decorated cookies. Just bought a variety of Christmas cookies at $15.99 a pound. They frequently make fresh donuts outside the bakery so you can see and smell the sweets walking by. Best of all, the staff does not have a snobby attitude that is sometimes prevalent in the Geneva

Scones were very tasty, unfortunately service was ?meh? the staff made me feel like I was disturbing them since it was my first time and had questions (there was no clear signage for prices or options) so I just stopped asking and got the a scone lol but perhaps it was a bad day, would consider trying again.

Purchased two cinnamon rolls, two apple cider donuts and two pretzel rolls on Sunday afternoon 3 PM 01/16/2022. Cinnamon rolls were dry and stale even after heating did not improve....seems like they were made one or two days prior! Cider donuts were hard as a rock and definitely stale!! Pretzel rolls dry and stale. Will not be purchasing anything again from Hahn's after this disappointing purchase and they are not cheap!

Some of the items were ok like the cookie. The long John donuts however were stale so I was pretty disappointed. The donuts were on the same scale as a Dunkin? donut, and I was expecting a little better. Hoping it was just an off day since most reviews are good.

Every Friday, the bakery makes fresh donuts on site and gives away one donut per customer for FREE! This is a small family-owned German-style bakery, though their crumb cakes are probably their most well-known product because of its amazing flavor. If you?re looking for decorated cookies for a season or holiday, they?ve always got several to choose from!

This is, without a doubt, one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. The workers are excellent, and the goods are just incredible. These products taste as good as they look. Would recommend if you're looking for a treat to enjoy!

My husband and I decided to try Hahn's as we bought bread at the farmer's market in Wheaton recently. The website photos were misleading. When we arrived today the bakery was small, fairly crowded and a small staff on hand. We purchased 2 wrapped loaves of bread. What was a little off putting were the flies landing on all the uncovered pastries on the counter. So it was disappointing.

We typically love Hahn's products, however, we purchased bakery items at the Geneva Farmer's Market this past Saturday, and by Sunday, everything (except the bread) had green mold on them. Really disappointing given the price we paid for these items. Called the bakery and could not get an answer. Went online to offer a comment and the website was down.

Excellent bakery! The bread is always good from here and so are the tasty treats, you really can't go wrong. The quality of food is excellent and I believe is fairly priced. Also they are at the Geneva French Market on Sundays as well.

The family and I like this bakery very much. Everyone there has always been very nice and helpful because their selection rotates. The carrot cake so far has been my favorite. Wish I could try everything at once. I guess I will just have to keep going back.

The negative reviews of this bakery are likely from people who are used to the extremely poor quality of most bakery goods you can get in the US these days. The most friendly family bakery around. Great selection of homemade cookies including Kolatcki(sp.) , sugar cookies, amazing scones, cinnamon sugar mini donuts , a great assortment of homemade breads and pretzel bread.. I usually go there at the farmer's market in Wheaton.. But when I am in Geneva I always stop at their store!! They also have coffe and bottled drinks.

Purchased several different types of individual baked goods. Every one of them was dry. The employee behind the counter was crabby and seemed very annoyed when we inquired about an item we weren?t familiar with. I would not recommend this bakery.

Having moved from Australia i have found all bread bought from supermarkets to be sweet. Hahns bread is delicious and not sweet. Only place I get my bread from in Geneva.

We got bread and desert for Thanksgiving. It was ok, but can't say it was better than just buying take and bake from the grocery store.

This bakery had BIG treats. I had what is like a boston cream, I could only eat half. I plan on trying the pumpkin treat and also bought a mini apple pie.

My favorite is their salted ciabatta bread. There is variety of bread available including pretzel bread. There are also cute cookies, muffins and kuchen. (Fruit crumble cakes).
