If I could give 0 stars I really would. This place is a total scam. I got 2 affogatos with coffee that cost $5.50 each and first of all it tasted disgusting because there was only one little dollop of ice cream and way too much espresso. Second of all the contents of it didn?t even fill up half the cup. Plus, they gave it in a cheap cup that hotels would usually use for complimentary tea/coffee. They couldn?t use the cups with their logo on which they had plenty of? Anyways, this place was very disappointin
UPDATE: 1/03/2025 I?m increasing the 1 star to 5 star. They have napkins this time and the employee brought the drinks to our table with napkins. ?? ========= We bought 2 matcha drinks. It was pretty good. We also bought sticky rice cake and also mochi donuts to have along with our drinks. But when we ask for some napkins. They said no. They said they don?t have any napkins and that we should go to another food court to ask for napkins instead. I said, ?Why should we go to a different food court that we
This place is so amazing! I love everything about visiting here, from the kind people to the amazing food, it?s all incredible! Definitely worth the time coming here!
We went here on a Sunday. It opened at 11, and they didn't have the mochi donuts ready. They took our order, and we then waited 25 minutes for the donuts and 30 minutes for our brown sugar latte. The donuts were ok, but nothing to write home about, and the drink was literally milk. The one I paid for, they did not have, so we got the brown sugar. It had zero flavor aside from just milk. The drink was super disappointing. I would not recommend trying this place. We were the 1st ones there, so waiting 30 min
I was introduced to the mochi donuts as a gift (see photo). Located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, a great atmosphere ?? Good Time Donut staff are so kind and recommended their best but I'm convinced everything on their menu is the best! My sister and I went an hour before they closed, and the donuts were 10/10 amazing! Ube and Yuzu are our favorites ?? The Dallas Mavs cream soda was good, too. We'll definitely be back!
This place is too expensive for some of the stuff it sells. The cream soda was 7.50, I got a half ass scoop of ice cream, that wasn't a cream soda. Second, the stupid coffee dessert was disgusting, what was those cups too. motel looking cups. The thing was nasty and wasn't even half way filled. Service was meh, she was confusing.
I love mochi donuts and I wanted to try this place out. I came right at 11am to get fresh donuts. Got a half dozen. Some were over cooked and some were stale! And they were quite pricy.
Of all the mochi donut places in Dallas, this is probably my favorite one! The mochi texture and different frostings both taste very good together. My favorite flavor is the fruity pebble and hojicha, but I love their strawberry as well! Prices aren?t too crazy expensive either. It?s located inside the Mitsuwa food court to those having trouble locating it!
You can't just get a regular matcha latte. They also dont adjust anything. I said I didn't want the black sugar they wanted to add. Said they can't make any adjustment. I dont want to add something to make it more complicated, I just wanted a regular unsweetened iced matcha latte. Crazy.
This place is inside the market there is no drive thru. Customer service was good. Selection is fairly simple. I spent $22 for 8 donuts.
We walked by this while in the food court. Drinks look good on the menu but very inflexible on the customization. Ordered a coffee based drink with two standard shots and when I asked to have an extra shot inside, they said no can?t do that?! ????? Matcha drink had a weak matcha taste also.
The donuts are so fresh and soft. They are chewy and the perfect amount of sweetness! Now they have tea drinks and the cream in the teas are just divine.
These mochi donuts were delicious. They were the perfect softness with the perfect glaze toppings that weren't overly sweet. I'm a huge fan of all the flavors. I think the only down side is these mochi donuts are considerably smaller than other mochi donut places in the DFW area and each costs $2.25, so that's a little disappointing. But I do admit they taste amazing and one of the best tasting mochi donuts in the area.
This is sooooooo yummy, I tried strawberry and macha and love them both. It?s so hard to stop at one. The texture is chewy, and flavors are light - not too sweet. The first time I had a mochi donut was at Fat Straws and it wasn?t good that I almost skipped this place thinking they might be similar. I will try other flavors next time.
Tasty tho pricey donuts for their size that don?t rely on lots of sugar or richness to be delicious. Unique toppings.
Got the fruity pebbles and the strawberry donuts. Both were very good. Located just inside the food court.
This place is pretty fantastic. I like the strawberry and matcha mochi donuts. Very flavorful, not drowning in artificial sweeteners and it's chewy. Nom nom. Right side donuts to fill you up.
We are from Utah in Plano visiting family, and we are so happy they took us here! The Sakura matcha drink was our favorite, and we couldn't pick a favorite donut..... They were all too good to pick just one! We are so glad our family took us here, it's a new tradition!
Best mochi donuts in DFW. I've tried other places, even a popular chain but they all can't compare to Good Times Donut. The texture of their dough is amazing - soft, airy, chewy (I'm not a fan of American donuts), the sweetness is just right, not crazily sweet. I love their black sesame and cookie'n'cream flavors, easily finish 4 of them within 15 mins lol.
First time coming here, it?s really good and good customer service???? at first I thought the donuts were too small but they are filling. Recommend this place!
My kids love this lil treat ! It's been a wide storm take over in Dallas with these mochi donuts. Most try if you're here !
I got the Matcha, the Goma, and the Hojicha. Definitely better than Mochi donuts in North Dallas that were ice cold but my favorite was in Philadelphia where they were hot out of the oven. So maybe this is just a timing issue. The frosting was tasty and the service was quick!
Inside the food court at Mitsuwa. Fun flavors. Too sweet for my taste.
The donuts are amazing. Lots of variety and the texture is unique compared to a normal donut. People working there are also very kind too.
My daughter was craving donuts and wanted a place that had this specific donut that we found here. Looks almost like a dough bracelet covered in icing. The place we went to originally was in Richardson and that was too far to drive. Found this place, but we weren't super impressed. The building itself and setup was more intriguing than anything. Kind of like an indoor mall with random businesses serving the community. The facility was Asian inspired. They had shaved ice and other merchandise that they were
I've tried so many brands of Mochi Donuts in DFW area, and I think this place is The BEST! Every is just right. Not too sweet, not too hard, not too chewy.. Just Right! And their creamy topping is the best amoung the other mochi donuts brand. Hope they open another store in downtown dallas area where I live..
These donuts are so unique and delicious! My favorite was the sugared one. Definitely a fun change from regular donuts. The texture is delightful. I thought they were a little pricey but knowing that they are different than regular donuts I overlooked this and still wanted to give 5 stars! Please give them a try!
This is soo delicous, not top sweet Love it I order the matcha and oreo
Absolutely bomb flavors, and delightfully chewy. The hojicha, strawberry, and fruity pebbles ones were my favorite, but they're all great! Easy to share as well since you can tear them into little "donut holes". New favorite donut, can't go back to regular donuts now that I know these exist...
I ordered it on chowbus today. It tastes bad!!! Only the chocolate flavor tastes average. IT DOES NOT DESERVE $2.50 !!!
One time several months ago, I had a salted caramel donut here, and it was the best donuts I?ve ever eaten. That was the one and only time I have seen this flavor offered. PLEASE OFFER THIS FLAVOR REGULARLY!!!!!!
These are amazing donuts with right amount of sweetness and flavor! Absolutely loved it and recommend for an awesome dessert. Just eat it a little cold and it tastes wonderful.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND This place is delicious, it isn?t too sweat like other places, and the customer service from the store owner/manager is top notch. They usually have taro, green tea, chocolate, yuzu, milk chocolate, and other seasonal flavors. You can?t go wrong with any of them.
Great first time into Good Times. I ordered one of the donuts and loved the flavor.
Chewy and fun to eat. Not too big, not too sweet, and NOT good for my diet!
Delicious soft mochi donuts, highly recommended try
Their sesame flavor is one of my favorite. If you like the sweet and salty tastes, it's worth the try. The other flavors are really good as well.
Good variety of mochi doughnuts and soft serve ice cream right in the Mitsuwa food court. Their black sesame mochi doughnut is my favorite Would come again!
Wow, these donuts, regardless of your choice, have a flavorful and chewy texture that must be experienced once. I will definitely return for more.
Matcha soft serve was way too running. However, the matcha and strawberry donuts were delicious!
Their black sesame donut is a must have!
the donuts are never disappointed just pricy
best mochi donut in Dallas, i do love Hojicha flavor the most????
The donuts are really good. However the staff working there needs to actually speak to customers.
Delicious! Very soft and tasty!
These mochi donuts are amazing! Much better than other Asian mochi donuts.
The worker was SUPER nice and kind. The donuts tasted like Japan!!
Best mochi donut store in Dallas I have ever known.
Cool doughnut, but shop is hard to find. This place is INSIDE the Japanese Food Hall.
Love these Donuts. Not too sweet not too big. Just perfect.
Donuts are yummy. I really like mint, cookies and cream.
Sooo good. The texture is so soft and chewy. Gonna go again tomorrow!
Both the drink and donut was incredibly sweet
