While the staff and coffee are always great, the food is inconsistent. Good Things use to have the best donuts I?ve had. Not sure what happened, but sometimes the donut holes are big and soft, others they?re small and hard. Sometimes the danish is awesome, other days it?s stale. There are so many good things to say about Good Things Donuts! While visiting the area we happened upon this great little place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The donuts were delicious. Good Things Donuts is the BEST donut shop on the Emerald Coast located in Fort Walton Beach! The donuts here are sooo fresh and sooo good!! We arrived just before it closes at 1:00 pm. We bought four donuts to try and in our car we took a few bites out of all the donuts...they were so good that we quickly ran back in and bought four more!! I was up early , googled nearby donuts and this place was open early, 430 am perfect. Plenty of parking , seemed cleaned upon entry. I order cinnamon twist and a cinnamon roll, they were both huge. They are soft, BUT they do have a burnt oil type of after taste, as someone else stated in the reviews. I wouldn't try them again because of this. Cool little place though.

Doughnuts served in a silver platter! And so delicious! The cinnamon twist was the best one, but the cream cheese filled was a close 2nd. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 2 kinds that were sold out, but the staff member said "no problem, I'll go make you one in the back. Will only take a minute." Never had that happen at a doughnut shop before. This shop is definitely worth a try when you're in town.

I bought same doughnut at 2 different shops same morning . Doughnut on left is from okaloosa doughnut shop , has darker chocolate icing and a slightly smaller . One on right awesome taste and traditional icing . Both shops excellent choices ! Cannot go wrong !

We went late in the morning on a Monday in Feb which was a holiday so it was slow when we were there. We were greeted right and offered help right away. There was a great selection of donuts all of which were delicious! We had several different donuts, as well as an apple fritter and they were great. So refreshing to have fresh good tasking flaky donuts!! The restaurant itself was also very clean.

Quite possibly the best donuts I have ever had, and I used to live next to a Krispy Kreme! Soft, flavorful, with just the right amount of glaze. Make sure you try the pig in a blanket as well! Breakfast sausage and cheese in croissant dough. Amazing. Also the size of the cinnamon twist was huge! I didn't measure it, but it was probably 10 inches long. These are, by far, the BEST donuts!! Make the drive from wherever you are staying and get them! We always stop by on our way out of town headed back home. They open at 4:30am so they are hot and fresh when we arrive! I always get a white frosted with sprinkles and some donut holes for the road. My husband gets the cinnamon twists. Excellent donuts and the employees are always so kind!

We often get a dozen variety donuts for our family on a Saturday morning. The staff are friendly and quick. Out of the many times we've gone only once did we find the donuts drier. I advise being cautious to hand out the donuts that have been sitting too long. But the majority of the time they are fresh and absolutely mouthwatering. So many options too. My husband started going there after a terrible experience getting Dunkin donuts. If we get some we will always go to Good Things.

The lady at the window was nice enough. They didn?t really have a menu to visually see the options. I had to just name out things and she told me if they had any left or not. The donuts are okay but way too greasy for my liking. My donuts were given in a brown paper bag and the bag was covered in grease. It?s a lot better places out there to get donuts IMO.

I just here on vacation and decided to grab a donut instead of going to McDonald?s for breakfast. Was that a good idea! My chocolate donut was fluffy yet still had the crispy fresh fried texture and the chocolate somehow had the rigidity of a ganache! Customer service was great; the gentleman told me if I didn?t like it he?d give me another donut to try! Definitely stop by this place if you are in the area.

Such a great donut! I love yeast raised ones, and the glaze, fillings, and chocolate all have excellent flavor. Friendly employees too. Will return during my vacation here and will miss it when I go home.

You should expect good things from Good Things Donuts. I judge a donut place by their apple fritters, and these rank up there as one of the best! Middling size with moist fluffy bread (not crunchy outer layer), decent amount of apple filling throughout, and not at all stale. Though $2.50 for specialty donut may be more than average, these donuts are more than average. Standard for $1 including cream filled though is good price and the quality will carry through to whatever your fave donut is.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 9 am. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They made you feel at home. The doughnuts and coffee were delicious! Lots of choices and all homemade. The place was very clean and had an excellent vibe. We ended up staying to eat our donuts because the place was too cute!

I believe this is the earliest-opening donut shop around for all those early-risers like myself. The donuts are great and the location is even better for anyone in Ft. Walton heading to Eglin in the morning. I was also really impressed with the interior and the presentation of the place. I will certainly be coming back here.

These are the best donuts I've ever had! The people that run this place are amazing as well. We stopped in to get donuts one afternoon close to closing and they didn't have the donuts I wanted, the employees made a fresh batch of donuts for me no questions or attitude. Entered the donut shop around 11:15. Donuts were wiped out. Told the clerk I wanted all chocolate donuts. They only had 4. She insisted on charging me for a mixed price. I questioned how charging me more is appropriate if they are out of all chocolate donuts. They lost my business.

My family has been going to Good Things Donut for over a year and we haven't had a bad experience yet. Wish they had one in Niceville but making the commute isn't terrible. The staff is friendly, operational hours are good and their donuts are very good.

I?ve been bringing my boy here every Friday morning for 6 years. Even when we moved away 2 years ago, this is where he wants to come when we?re here on vacation. Most people just grab and go, but we like to sit here and chat. Coffee, yoo-hoo chocolate milk, and delicious donuts. He likes the chocolate sprinkle donut and the donut holes. I like the pineapple fritter warmed up, an old fashioned chocolate donut, and a pig in the blanket, heated up. Nothing fancy or new, just really good things.

Excellent!! We love the Apple Fritters! But ALL of their goods are worth your drive! They're only open until 1PM...and when your favorite is gone, you'll have to go back another day!

This place is an outstanding and heavenly shop to go to. If no place is visited in this general area, Good Things is the place to go. The donuts are soft and perfectly chewy. The flavor will send your taste buds into a state of pure bliss. If you sat a donut on your head, your tongue would slap your brains out to get to it. Simply a must go.

I stopped here on my way from Destin to Clearwater and ordered 1 cream cheese filled, 1 glazed and 1 vanilla lady lock. I am a hardcore krispy Kreme fan but when I bit into the glazed Donut I think my life changed. I never thought I'd find a Donut I liked better than than krispy Kreme but this Donut is... Better. It didn't immediately disintegrate into a pool of sugar in your mouth, it had more body to it. Delightful. And later when I tried the cream cheese filled, I was glad I read the reviews and ordered

The donuts are amazing. If you can get any. Most of the time this location sells out by 8 or 9am it seems. Which is ridiculous considering they are a donut shop open until 1pm. You need to get there early to get what you want.

Came in with my friend and bought a few different types of donuts, when I paid I didn?t feel a need to tip because the lady only greeted us, placed my donuts in the bag, and rang my card. My friend gave a tip and while we were walking out she thanked him for the tip. I just felt that it was rude to be saying that, as if it was out of spite for me not giving a tip for the lady doing her job. Donuts were good though I?m only complaining about the service.

I passed this place many times, but Wednesday, I thought I?d pick up some doughnuts. I consider myself a doughnut connoisseur and these were so good. The old fashioned are my favorite and tend to be hard to find. Great little bakery... stop in!

Imagine this a doughnut stuffed with cheesecake... Heavy right? Wrong! The cream cheese doughnut is delicious and inexplicably light. Amazing! Everything else the family bought looked amazing and was devoured within 30 seconds.

My son will go out of his way for these donuts. His favorites are glazed, chocolate glazed and devil's food. He is apparently not the only one who likes them because they sometimes sell out fast so the earlier you get there the better.
